Record Of Genesis, Part 2

Rev. Raymond M. Jackson

AT THE END OF LAST ISSUE, WE WERE SPEAKING OF GOD’S SURE JUDGMENT UPON A SOCIETY OF PEOPLE WHO ARE FOLLOWING IN THE VERY FOOTSTEPS OF THOSE HE JUDGED IN THE DAYS OF NOAH, AND ALSO IN THE DAYS OF LOT; THEREFORE WITHOUT GOING BACK OVER THAT PART WE WILL CONTINUE ON WITH THE MESSAGE WE ARE DEALING WITH, “THE RECORD OF GENESIS,” WHICH IS THE HISTORY OF THE GENES OF MANKIND UPON EARTH.

GOD’S PERFECTION AND VINDICATION

In the loins of Adam, for the purpose of the reproduction of human life on this planet, was a perfect law. When God does anything in the original it is perfect: it is never imperfect. He does not just throw something together and wait for man to perfect it: He sets it forth in perfection. It is man, under the influence of the devil, that distorts the picture. Therefore since there was a perfect genetic law included in Adam’s makeup in creation, we need to realize that for every son of God Adam would father, or his sons after him, there would have been a daughter of God, born also of the same parentage, by which the son would have been able to begat another in the very image and likeness of himself. Without Satan in the picture, that is how the earth could have, and would have been repopulated with pure sons and daughters of God. That is the way the Bible portrays it. However because of what happened in the Garden of Eden between Eve and the serpent, (when Satan inspired the serpent to approach that pure daughter of God) the earth was populated, (outside of the Garden of Paradise) with sons and daughters of God from Adam and his seed; (which were pure in their genetic makeup, except for imputed death) and sons and daughters of what the Bible refers to as man: which of course were the sons and daughters of Cain and his seed that were part animal in their genetic makeup. Naturally there will always be some who will resent hearing such a thing; but it is true anyhow; because Cain’s father was the serpent. The apostle John, (in 1st John 3:12) did not refer to Cain as being of that wicked one (Satan) because he slew his brother: he slew his brother because he WAS ALREADY a son of that wicked one. He had those evil attributes in his spiritual makeup from birth. Notice that verse and the one before it, (3:11) “For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, {who} was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.” The Bible refers to Satan as a murderer from the beginning; Not from his own beginning; because he was created as an Archangel and remained so until he exalted himself to be equal with his Creator; and was cast down from that position. Therefore because he designed evil and gave himself over to it, including murder, he was referred to by Jesus, in John 8:44, as a murderer from the beginning. We will read that verse. “Ye are of {your} father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. (talking to those Scribes and Pharisees that were ready to kill Him) He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” Satan is the father of everything that is contrary to God and His righteousness; and the very fact that the serpent yielded himself as a vessel of the devil, caused him to father children with those same attributes in their makeup. As for Cain himself, part of his spirit makeup was of Eve the daughter of God. That is why he felt the desire to make an offering to God, when he and Abel both brought an offering; and God accepted Abel’s and rejected his. Cain got angry; and God asked him, “Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? (At that very time, God offered him the chance to claim first born rights in the family heritage if he would do right. In other words, if he would make a proper offering. Instead of making an offering God would accept, he allowed his anger to build up until he slew his half brother Abel. Notice in this next verse, the offer God made to him.) Gen. 4:7 “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee {shall be} his (Abel’s) desire, and thou shalt rule over him.” Cain refused to yield and soon went his own way: over to the land of Nod, where he felt like he was away from his past. He raised his own family; and Seth the son of God raised his; and the two separate lines of humanity existed separately for a number of years. We have no way of knowing when the mixed marriages spoken of in chapter six first began to take place. When those sons of God first began to take wives from those daughters of Cain is not important. The important thing we need to reconcile in our mind, is the fact that Genesis 6:1-5 is referring to exactly that: and nothing else. After those two lines of humanity began to intermarry and produce offspring, then notation is made that there began to be giants in the land, and men of renown. When there began to be such a mixture, as I said earlier, The Lord had already looked ahead in time and determined to judge the whole thing when it reached a certain point. That great flood of water was God’s judgment brought upon the whole mixture and mess that had accumulated on the earth at that time; but it did not destroy every trace of the existence of those who were evil; because as we have already shown, every attribute that ever was manifested in anyone prior to the flood was carried beyond the flood in the genetic structure of the family of Noah. Every human born into this world has the potential of doing anything any of those before the flood were doing. What makes the difference, is how we respond to the Spirit of God when He knocks on OUR INDIVIDUAL HEART’S DOOR. We, like Cain, are offered a choice in what we do with our live’s. We can choose to serve God in truth; or we can give ourselves over to Satan and let him rule us. Cain was not forced to make the choice he made; and neither are we; but when we choose the path of sin, we become the servants of sin: and therefore servants of the devil. Those who serve him must reap of his judgment and punishment when their cup of abomination gets full in the eyes of God. Jesus, in Matthew 25:41, made it clear that hell was prepared for Satan and his angels; and that very verse of scripture shows that judged mankind will also partake of it: as you will see when we read the verse. Notice, “Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. (Skip down to verse 46.) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” We have plenty of scripture for everything we are presenting to you in this message: but true saints of God should not have to have every single verse read to them in order to accept the fact of what is being presented. On the other hand, atheists and agnostics could never have enough scripture presented to them to change their mind’s; because they will not accept the Bible as anything of any importance. God will let them see something one of these days; but it will be too late for any spiritual benefit to their soul’s because they have rejected His holy, inspired word.

NOAH’S ARK VIEWED WHAT IT WILL PROVE

I know there are a lot of highly educated but very foolish people in the world today who would quickly say, Don’t listen to that Jackson! He is like a crazy man! Nevertheless I got a chance to watch some of a Noah’s ark presentation on television; and I suppose many of you did also; and to me it is proof beyond any shadow of doubt that we are at the end of time. What I saw is proof beyond the shadow of a doubt, that God has preserved enough of Noah’s ark to confound all of these supposed-to-be smart people of this day and hour who make fun of people who have faith in God and believe the Bible record of creation and restoration. There have been at least five personal witnesses, (in the last fifty years) that have seen it. One man had even been inside it: and brought back a piece of wood from it. There are also space satellite photographs of it: which are on the scientific side of the issue: so I cannot help but believe we are now approaching the end. It is proof positive: that God’s record in Genesis is true. What are all these atheists going to do, when they can no longer deny the existence of such a boat? Let me say this now; because I will have to bring in the races of people upon earth, the black, the in-between, and the white, to show you something I feel is important. We never did get an atheist from the black people. There may be black atheists in America, but they are not the originators of that philosophy. You did not get the atheists from the Shemite line, (which are of the Middle East countries) from which comes the Jewish people. You get it from this bunch of educated, what I call white fools. I am a white man; and I am not dissatisfied by the fact that I am; but when I look at what the white race has been responsible for on this planet, it causes me to examine all the evidence I have available to determine the purpose of God in the different races. I can see that (in the end time) each race is going to stand out and portray really what God designed them for in the beginning. If you will follow my thought as we look at history, we are going to learn something that will help us. I pray that we can at least learn that things recorded in the Bible do not have to go into every detail: to present a picture for a spiritual man or woman to see the plan of God being set forth. As I watched that presentation of the various accounts given by eye witnesses, some now quite aged, each one in his respective hour had been privileged to see the ark. One man was inside of it: and still has in his possession the piece of wood he took. I just could not help but rejoice in my heart. Thank God we are approaching the end of time: when God will do some things to confound the wise and prudent. I have always felt like sooner or later, as we approach the end, God is going to take the wraps off of that boat (just before the coming of Christ) and make some of these atheists either cough up a confession or have a brain hemorrhage. There is no way an honest thinking individual could doubt what those films show. We are going to get the film; and show it here for anyone to see. I noticed that one man shown had worked with four different governmental groups, starting from the hour Nixon was President. When Jimmy Carter was in office, he (that man) was on this government plane coming back from somewhere in Europe, and as they passed over Mt. Ararat, naturally the Russian patrol planes came up and flew along side to see that they did not drift across their border. All of a sudden the pilot came on and said, if you look out a certain window to your left you will see Noah’s ark. As different scientists have said though, There no doubt has been an earthquake in ancient times that has caused the boat to slide. One article I read, said, (and this was a long time ago) The whole of Mt. Ararat is a volcanic mountain. Therefore through approximately four thousand years, as earthquakes and the volcanic disturbances did what they do, it would keep pushing this mountain higher. That would begin to change the outer structure and cause breaks in the structure. That is what has happened. The ark has been broken apart through some kind of happening and ninety some feet slid down to another level. That is the way it is today. I just have to say once more, Here, in the end of time, I truly believe God is going to bear witness to this world in such a way it will make a lot of these atheist’s cough up something. Naturally God has allowed Satan to do this to mankind; (blind them to the truth) because there are things in the Bible that a certain generation of people has to fulfill. They were not written to force someone to fulfill them: they were written because God, by His foreknowledge, saw what every person would do. Then we read in Micah 7, how God would deal so profoundly in the last days. Just wait until He starts showing Himself on the battlefield as He did in days of old. He is going to wake up a certain element of mankind and make him realize, and acknowledge, that He (God) still rules the heavens, and the earth, and that He has everything under control, and will have exactly what He wants. Saints of God, listen to me! We are the sons and daughters of the great Creator, the ONE that knew everything anyone would ever do, even before the earth was created; so do not allow yourselves to think the devil slipped up on His blind side and got the upper hand of Him. He has no blind side. He is a sovereign Spirit; and I assure you He has everything running right on schedule. As I said earlier, He has to let the devil do what he is doing, in order to end up with overcomers when this race to the end is completed. What happened before the flood was no surprise to God; but He had to allow it in order to reap the harvest He has purposed to reap when this thing has run its course.

QUESTIONS SOME PEOPLE ALWAYS ASK

Looking back to the beginning of man’s journey upon earth, some have said, Why did God allow Satan to corrupt mankind in the first place? Others have said, Why did God not just destroy all of that living element before the flood and create a new man and woman? Simply because there was nothing wrong with the first pair He created. If He should wipe the slate clean and start over, His new creation would still have to be tested; because Satan is still around. Furthermore we have to realize that another of the attributes of this sovereign Spirit is that of REDEEMER. He only created in the beginning: from then on He has been working with His creation. Noah was not found to be perfect in his generation because he was as pure and innocent as Adam was in the day he was created: He was called perfect in his generation because God saw in him, something He could work with. His desire was to walk with God. Now when the Bible says in Genesis 5:32, “And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.” That is the first it begins to mention that Noah was five hundred years old before he began to raise a family. It says he begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth. That is not the record, or order of their birth. It is actually Japheth, Shem, and then Ham. In other scriptures following this, Japheth is referred to as the elder, and when we come into another chapter, Ham is referred to as the younger; but the thing we have been calling your attention to, is the fact that Noah waited so long to start his family. Surely it was because of the scarcity of proper females to choose a wife from. I hope you can all see my point: that if Noah had been a pure, genetic seed of the Sethite line, he would have chosen one of his sisters that would have been pure seed also, to be his wife; and he would not have waited five hundred years to do so. The fact is, at this point in time, in Noah and his wife was a representation of the total mixture of what had been propagated by the two lines of humanity from their beginning to the time when the flood came; but by His foreknowledge, God knew what He would do to redeem to Himself a people from their offspring who would love Him and walk with Him; and allow Him to mold them into vessels of honor. The devil gets a chance to test every one of them; but God already knows which one’s will renounce the devil’s temptations and hold true to Him, even before they are born. Therefore I ask you, Why does it seem so strange to some, when we speak of predestination, since that predestination is based upon God’s foreknowledge? God looks ahead. The devil can never pull a trick on Him. If God permits the devil to do something, God is always looking ahead, and knows how it will turn out. That is why, if Noah did not have daughters to give to each one of his sons a wife, which would have been their sister, it was because God meant for it to be that way. It started out brother and sister, brother and sister; and as long as it stayed like that, there was no mixing of the two lines of mankind upon earth. Adam’s line remained to be sons of God; and Cain’s line were part human and part animal. Like I said earlier in the message, There is no way we can pinpoint the exact generation of the offspring of Seth, that first began to take wives from those daughters of Cain and propagate children that had those Cainite attributes in them. Enoch’s prophecy concerning God’s judgment is the first clue we have. That lets us know it started before then; but we have no way of knowing how far back before then. I am persuaded, that by the time Noah was ready to choose a wife there were no pure seed daughters of Seth’s line to choose from; and therefore his sons were faced with the same thing. That is why there were eight souls in that old ark, all with mixed attributes of both lines, carried beyond the flood to repopulate the earth. Every child born to those three sons and their wives stood in need of redemption; but another attribute of God is that of Redeemer; and He has been redeeming those who have been sensitive to the wooing of His convicting Spirit right on through the ages. We are all partakers of His grace and mercy: simply because our sinful makeup renders us void of meriting anything from Him. The Bible says we are shapen in iniquity; and in sin did our mother’s conceive us. It is stated as a personal confession; but it applies to all of us. We read the verse in Acts that tells us we are all of one blood. It is the blood of Noah. Every person on earth today, would have to trace their ancestry right back to Noah. If you believe the Bible to be the word of God, then Acts 17:26 should settle that part in your mind. Notice, “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.” Paul was on Mars’ hill, in Athens Greece, (I have been there) before the great Greek Acropolis, a temple built in 1200 and something B.C., a mammoth stone building. Even the Greek engineers back then, knew that to build something perfectly flat, and that long, the human eye has the sense of an illusion. To build it perfectly flat, as long as the floor was, the illusion is that the floor sways in the middle. That is the illusion you get when looking at something in that distance, that is perfectly flat. So the Greek engineers designed that floor which is covered with marble stone, and in the center, from the beginning of this end to the other, there is a gradual rise. At the time they told us how many inches the floor makes a rise, so that when you stand at either end and look to the other end, you do not get the illusion that the flood is sagging. So do not think they did not have smart engineers in 1200 B.C. They did. They did not go to Harvard or Purdue to learn what they knew either. Anyhow Paul was standing up there looking at that monster; and at all the sculptures of their various gods, with an inscription on each one to identify it. There stood the symbol of all the Greek gods; and even one to the UNKNOWN GOD; because they did not want to take a chance on leaving any god out of their scope. The walls of that great structure were constructed between huge columns, and around the pinnacle of each one of those columns is a stone sculptured face of some kind of deity. The Greeks believed in many deities. Paul knew about their ways: so he was moved by their urging him to tell them about this God he had been speaking to the local Jews about; and that caused him to speak as he did. Let us just notice how Paul, through the God-given wisdom he possessed, began his message to those people. (We are in Acts 17:22-31) “Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars’ hill, and said, {Ye} men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. (23) For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, (He had been looking at that monstrosity that stood there before him.)I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. (That was there just in case there possibly could be a god they did not know about. They did not want to leave one out. In other words, Just in case there is one we do not know about, this is for him. That is really what it meant.) Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, Him declare I unto you. (24) God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; (25) Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though He needed any thing, seeing He giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; (26) (Watch this verse, it takes you to the hour of Noah and his family.) And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; (We will read these other verses; and then, I want to come back and emphasize once more, what I see in verse 26.) (27) That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us: (28) For in Him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring. (29) Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. (30) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom He hath ordained; {whereof} He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised him from the dead.” Now let us look again at verse 26, and break it down, (while we look at our chart) In Noah and his wife, is represented all the genetic characteristics of the total mixture Satan had set in motion, when he caused the sons of God to start choosing wives from that line referred to as men in Genesis 6:1. When Noah picked a wife, her genetic background was the same as his. To my critics, let me say, If you insist that Lamech was a pure seed, then it means he had to have a wife of a pure seed. That means Noah was a pure seed: and that he would have been a fool not to have taken one of his sisters for his wife: since he knew how God felt about that mixture. It plainly tells you Lamech (after the birth of Noah) still begat sons and daughters. Naturally I question as to how many daughters he had; because all indications are that the flow of daughters on the sons of God side were restricted; but there would have been one for Noah, if there had been any virtue in him having one of his sisters for his wife. I am persuades though, that Lamech did not have as many daughters as some of those first sons of God had. God no doubt restricted the flow of daughters in that line, after those sons of God began to take wives from that other element. That is exactly why all over the world today in every race, no matter what their color is, there is a man that can choose a wife and have a family of five sons and no daughters. Another man can choose a wife and have five daughters and no sons. Why is that? Because the regulating law reproduction God set in force in the beginning has become all mixed up. When the Bible says in Genesis 6, that Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, it certainly was not because he was a pure seed. I will have to challenge any critic, concerning what God was basing perfection on, When He caused it to be written that Noah was perfect in his generation. It is because God was not comparing him to Enoch or any man prior to that hour. It is because even though Noah was genetically of mixed makeup, and his wife likewise, God could still see a spiritual quality in him that stood out above and beyond all the others in that hour he lived in. I have to emphasize the fact that Noah was not perfect in the genetic sense.

WHY CERTAIN THINGS ARE SELF-EVIDENT

What you must take into consideration as you read the Genesis account before the flood, is first the fact that it tells us Noah walked with God. (Gen. 6:9) “These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man {and} perfect in his generations, {and} Noah walked with God.” Naturally he knew what God’s commission to Adam was: (Gen. 1:28) “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Would not a man who desired to please his Creator, take a wife and beget sons and daughters sooner than age 500, if he had been a pure seed, and had genetically pure sisters to choose a wife from? Be sensible, when you get the urge to speak things you have no specific proof of. He was the first born son of Lamech. That gave him all the God ordained rights set forth for the first begotten son. He could have chosen a sister for his wife. Yet he waited 500 years before starting his family. If anyone knows a better reason for this than what I have presented, I would appreciate having it shown to me from a scriptural standpoint. Anyone can make a projection; but if it be of God, it will line up with everything else that is written. There is just simply nothing written that would give any spiritual person any reason to speculate. You have to look at evidence of what is written, and put it together with the evident principles and plan of God which are reflected throughout the scriptures. With the flood of waters, God had determined to cut off the whole corrupt mess of humanity still living; and by the blood of one man who walked with Him, repopulate the earth with people of many races. That is according to His written word: We are not guessing about. Not only do we know that; but we also know this determination was made before the foundation of the world. Also He had already determined the times appointed and the bounds of their habitation. Let me assure you saints, I have no intention of being careless with the word of God. I realize I have a large congregation: not only sitting here in Faith Assembly, but all over the world there are people who trust what I present to them. Therefore I am preaching to you here; and also to thousands of black, yellow, brown and white people in other parts of the world: no matter what color they are. I have to look at all of them from the standpoint of the Bible; because there are children of God in every nation that are my brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ. I know God, by His divine truth, is making up a body of people that will be represented and characterized out of every race that exists on this planet. Furthermore there is no such thing as the white race being the super race. The white race is not the super race. Well Bro. Jackson, look what they have done. Yes, I know; and I have to say, I have read enough history and other things as well: to know what some white’s have done: both good and bad. If I choose to refer your attention back three thousand years ago, I can recite some diabolical, barbaric things white people did in Europe when they had no education whatsoever. They lived like heathen and treated each other like animals. How would you like to have been in any army and been captured by some of those ancient Gauls, and have your head cut off, the meat boiled off of it, and your skull overlaid with gold, to be set up somewhere for someone to drink wine out of? That happened. I am not making it up. Oh yes, white man has walked on the moon; but I have to ask, What literal good has come out of it? It does very little for me. I am not interested in moon rocks. As we return our thinking to Noah, I say after he waited all that time he finally picked a wife that as far as he was able to judge, reflected what he himself was and stood for. He lived long enough to look the whole crowd over. He picked the best he could find that would represent him in what he saw himself to be. By the time Noah had reached five hundred years of age, according to what God had said to him in verse 3, of Genesis 6, he had 100 years left to build an ark and raise a family. He begat those three sons: and they each one had a different complexion. If you care to go to the Hebrew and see what their names represent, their Hebrew name’s reflected their complexion. Shem the middle man, an olive color. Japheth the elder, a light complexion, and Ham the younger, was a black man: all out of the loins of Noah. Not all black people are the same shade of black. They run from black, to brown, and various shades of color. Right here, is where I draw on my army experience. I have been in the Orient, I have been in the isles of the sea, and I have been south of the equator. I have seen the representation of the various races as they progressed eastward, coming out of the Middle East, out of the land of Shinar. Also, since I have been a Christian I have been in Africa, the Middle East, Egypt, the Philippines and so forth; so let me speak to honor the black race and the various colors. After the flood, they were all in the plains of Shinar, around where the Gulf War was fought, in the area where the Tigress and Euphrates Rivers flow into the Persian Gulf. There is where the heart and cradle of civilization started. When these three sons of Noah chose a wife, do not tell me they, seeing themselves in the color they were, just went out and picked a wife at random. I have to believe that God by His divine guidance, knowing that through the blood of this one man He has purposed to populate all nations under heaven, guided those sons in their choice of companion’s. That takes you back to a point in time just before the flood came. I have to believe each one of those sons, when it came time to choose a mate, sought out a companion that would come closest to reflecting his own human self. You may say, Bro. Jackson, you can’t prove that. I will have to use other scriptures to prove it; but I believe we can substantiate it. When we go into the next chapters of Genesis, the chapters which show you the genealogy of Japheth, then Shem and Ham, we can follow them all the way down through the scriptures and show you they are the progenitors of the various races that have come off each one. Many have come off of them. Those of the Japheth line are all the white races upon earth. However look how mixed up they are in various characteristics, blue eyes, brown eyes, green eyes, hazel eyes, black hair, brown hair, blonde hair, red hair, freckled face, and some so white, they are like celery bleached. I do not say that in a derogatory way: but to prove a point. Your color of skin does not make you anything good or bad. God designed something that made the difference. When Shem began to reproduce his kind, that brought upon the scene the in-between people who stayed in the areas of the land of Shinar, there in the Middle East. After the tower of Babel, when God confused the languages of the people, so that the three different distinct lines of Noah’s offspring no longer spoke the same language, that forced them to move out and expand their scope. God had to confuse their language to make them get out of there and go where He had beforehand determined the bounds of their habitation. God does all things perfect. By His foreknowledge, He saw what the devil was after; and He just simply cut off his endeavors there with that tower designed to reach into heaven. God used that one man and one woman to be the genetic progenitors of the instruments that would father sons and daughters down the line until the whole world is populated to His specifications. He that predetermined their times and bounds of habitation is still in control today: no matter how much it may look like the devil is. From those three sons there came forth sixteen other sons of their various kinds; and even they varied in their individual makeup from that of their father’s. Knowing that, we can see how the earth became populated with such a varied mixture of humanity. You who have studied history in school, no doubt remember that the father of the people of Egypt was Mizraim. How many know what the Hebrew word for Egypt is? It is named after Ham’s son, Mizraim. Your first civilization after the flood was started by him. If you doubt me, I have a Bible dictionary: that gives the Hebrew name of Egypt as Mizraim, who was one of Ham’s sons. They produced the first known culture of present day civilization. That is why, when you go to Egypt today, the true Egyptian man will tell you he is not an Arab. In religious belief, he believes in Mohammad like the great majority of the rest in those countries do; but that itself does not make them Arabs. That is why I have said before, The Egyptian race of people are not Arabs, even though they are Islamic in religious belief. I bring this into the message to help establish the point we are making concerning the population of the nations from the loins of one man.

WHERE WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING COMES FROM

When you go to the various ruins in Egypt, and when you view those Pyramids you have to ask yourself, Where did those people get the knowledge and ability to build these huge stone pyramids as well as other things? I will remind you that they did not have universities scattered all over the Middle East: where those people could learn how to build the things they built. It is a knowledge they inherited. I have to say, When God told Noah to build a boat, (the ark) He gave him a mental picture of it; and you can rest assured Noah had a brain that understood the picture God conveyed to him. It was just as real to him as the picture God later gave Moses, when He instructed him to build the tabernacle in the wilderness around 1400 B.C., when they were coming out of Egypt. God showed him in a vision and said, Build it after the pattern I have shown you. It is going to be proven, as we get closer and closer to the end of time: that God is able to communicate with His true people. Not one son of God will have to guess about what the will of the Father is. I have to believe God is going to put a lot of this educated human flesh to shame by the spiritual revelation and intelligence He gives His true people: to understand things that will still be a mystery to the educated bunch. God imparts wisdom and knowledge to whomsoever He chooses to work through, whether they are educated or not. The knowledge He imparts to His true children cannot be acquired in any of your schools of learning. I want you to notice what the apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthian Assembly. (1:26-27) “For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” That is how Paul described the kind of thing our present day society is plagued with: big-shot preachers and Dr. So and So’s who think they have the answer to everything and spiritually know so very little about anything.

FAITH – A POWERFUL FORCE

Through the eyes of the world, things look very hopeless; but to those who know how to walk with God in truth there is much to look forward to: because Jesus is coming for us very soon; and also because we know our God is still in control. Just as God was still in control before the flood of Noah’s hour, so is He in control in this hour. He is just exercising His long suffering attribute until His true children are fully tested and given opportunity to overcome. Let us go to the 11th chapter of Hebrews and notice what the apostle Paul wrote concerning Noah, in the hour when wickedness and perversion was all around him. Noah is looked upon as one of the great patriarchs of faith in the days just prior to the flood. Verse 7, “By faith (by divine revelation) Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.” God gave him a revelation, and that is where righteousness was imputed to him, because of his ability and willingness to see it and grasp it. It goes to show, being a pure seed is not what God imputed righteousness on the basis of. Just try to imagine what would have been a familiar scene for the hundred years or more, as Noah and his sons worked building the ark. Think of the people that no doubt came by and said mockingly, What are you doing, Noah? Their questions and mocking did not bother him though; because he had a revelation of what God was going to do: just like we do today. He would no doubt just say, I am building a boat. What for? God is going to send a flood one of these days. What is a flood? Naturally they did not know anything about a flood; but that did not excuse them for failing to take heed: once Noah testified to them. The Bible refers to Noah as a preacher of righteousness: so do not tell me God did not give those people a chance to walk with Him. In 2nd Peter 2:5, we find the apostle Peter referring to Noah in that manner. Notice, “And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.” We have already read the scripture in 1st Peter; but I want to refer you back to it again: where Peter is speaking of Jesus Christ, hundreds of years after the flood, dying on the cross at Calvary for the sins of the whole world, and how He went into hell to preach to the imprisoned spirits, (the spirits of those people that had lived right on up until that hour just before the flood came, and somehow or other were obedient to the things that basically were right, even though they did not have a testimony that they walked with God: nor did they have much understanding) that they might know what restrained them and kept them from becoming evil and vile like most of the rest around them. It is one thing to be disobedient, and quite another to be outright evil and corrupt to the core. Since there was no written law for them to either obey or disobey, when they died, they went into hell, into that prison place, and after Christ Jesus paid their sin debt, and ours, He went into hell and preached to them. Christ did not preach to the wicked, those that designed all that evil that was going on. He preached to those spirits that somehow or other were affected to the point where they, even though disobedient, did not become altogether evil. They did not understand how or why they were restrained because there was no written law. That is exactly who Christ preached to. He did not preach to any of the wicked: to give them another chance. He preached, that those others might have a testimony as to why certain things happened to them, and they were restrained from going too far the wrong way. It was God’s grace; but they did not understand anything about that back then. Let me read these three verses in 1st Peter 3:18-20. “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also He went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.” Yes those eight souls were spared because they did as God had instructed Noah. That man had faith to believe what God said. Therefore he and his sons built an ark exactly to God’s specifications; and took aboard with them all the other living things in the exact numbers according to the word of God: when they were told that it was time to go in. They stayed in that boat a little over a year. Finally the water was abated and the dry land appeared and God told Noah and his sons they could go forth from the boat. The door was opened; and out they came with the various animals that were in there with them. Noah built an altar and offered up sacrifices to God and God was pleased; and once again God says to Noah, Be fruitful, and multiply. Let me just read it, Gen. 9:1, “And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” Noah never begat any more children after the flood; but his three sons have filled the earth; and according to the word of God every one of them have an evil imagination from their youth. You find that in Genesis 8:20-21, “And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in His heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.” God reinstated his law of genetics: that those sons and their wives might be able to fulfill His commission to them: to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. That meant they would have to give birth to both sons and daughters: so the sons would have wives of their own kind: to bring forth of their kind. In that three pairs of humans lay the different representations of humanity God had determined to have upon earth. You can turn to Genesis 10:2, and read the genealogy of Japheth: who he fathered. He had to father daughters to give to each one of his sons. Shem’s line likewise: He fathered sons; but he had to father daughters also to give to his sons: so they could reproduce themselves. Ham’s line the same, he fathered sons, but he had to father daughters also to give to his sons wives. That was how God designed it: to bring forth the varied races of people in the earth. Yes saints, every living soul upon earth today, would have to trace their ancestry all the way back to one of those sons of Noah: regardless of what color they are. That is the sense in which some say, We are all brothers. That is why the Bible says that God hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation. It is referring to the blood of Noah; and how the bounds of the habitation of his seed have already been determined by the Creator.

HOW THE ATTRIBUTES OF SIN SURVIVED THE FLOOD

AND WHAT THEY HAVE REPRODUCED

Did God get rid of sin when He destroyed all but those in the ark? some have asked. No. Absolutely not. Those attributes of sin lay right there in Noah’s sons and their wives; and every baby born into the world since then has within its genetic makeup the potential for every evil manifestation carried out before the flood. Let me read you something I have here: that will let you see what this society has become victim of. “Carl S. Chambers of York, Pennsylvania, was convicted of beating an elderly woman to death with an axe handle because she refused to hand over her wallet. The final words of the deputy district attorney to the jury, deciding his fate were, Carl Chambers has taken a life. As the Bible says, and the murderer shall be put to death. (Watch the response) Defense counsel objected. The trial judge sustained the objection, and told the jury to ignore the Biblical exhortation. In a six to one ruling the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in November reversed Chambers death sentence on the sole ground that the prosecutor quoted the Bible in his closing argument. In what is easily the dumbest decision of the year, the court said that the judges instruction to the jury was not enough and that a mistrial should have been declared. The justice sent a powerful message to prosecutors. We now admonish all prosecutors that reliance in any manner upon the Bible or any other religious warning in support of the imposition of a penalty of death is reversible and anyone who commits the error may be subject as violators, to disciplinary action.” I wonder how many Carl Chambers’ there were in the days of Noah? Anyhow saints as man became perverted in his moral behavior, then he filled the earth with corrupt, perverted sexual acts. Men with men, women with women, and listen to this word, incest. Fathers with daughters, mothers with sons. Some five or six years ago Hollywood produced a movie, a young mother with her 19 or 20 year old son. They exploited their behavior and conduct as though it was some big thing to use as entertainment. That is what the devil has been after all along. It says in Genesis 6, “and there were men of renown in that day.” I would like to know what their names were: because the Bible does not call any of them by name. They were the educators, just like this type of characters in our day. Educators, social leaders, politicians of every sort are pushing their perverted lifestyles off on unsuspecting and otherwise innocent people of all ages: right down to the youngest children that go to school. We read in the genealogy of Cain how there were those, they were the inventors and professional players on the harp and flute and that type of thing. Well let us just take a look at our day and hour in this age of Laodicea. My first one is Elvis Presley. When Elvis Presley, in the beginning of the 50’s, hit the scene, the flood gates of hell were thrown wide open. Then followed the Beatles, then Michael Jackson. Now we have Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton, and a long list of others: too many for me to name. The world looks upon these human subjects as idols, or role models. They are role models for those who will end up in hell. Well Bro. Jackson, what do you have against Kenny Rogers? He started out as a country singer; but when he began to hit the popular roll, another spirit got hold of him. Now he has already been seen in a certain swanky resort place with another woman. Is that, what fame and fortune is designed to bring one to? From day to day observation, it sure looks like it is. I want to emphasize these things as we go along. I have to say enough, and say it in a way that will give my many brothers and sisters throughout the world, regardless of their race, whether they are black, yellow, red, brown, or black, a true picture of what those mixed attributes before the flood, and after the flood produced. Look in the Bible. Here is the biological background that reflects all of what we are talking about. I just pray that God will help us all get a true picture of what is going on in the world in this hour. Everything we see going on in our society at large is inspired by the devil. You do not find God receiving recognition, worship, and the reverence He once received from the leaders of our country. He (the devil) has pitted race against race, as though that kind of thing is going to make it a better world to live in. The coming of Jesus Christ is the only thing that is going to make it a better world to live in. When He comes, He is coming with that little bride Church the Spirit of God has been perfecting down through the seven Church Ages; and she will rule and reign with Him for a thousand years: until the earth and all of its inhabitants are brought back to the very image of what God started out with.

BIBLE FACTS ALWAYS GIVE A TRUE PICTURE

After the morning service, a certain Brother asked me to read a particular scripture verse; and another Brother asked me to read a certain other verse: so I just want to say, I am ever so thankful to God that His written word is so uniquely put together. It corrected a statement for me: that I want to take time to explain to you. I have to acknowledge that I was just looking at one passage of scripture, wanting to take that and go on over to the sin of Ham, and then just close the entire subject. However the question is, What is my subject all about? I am trying by the grace of God and the scriptures He brings to my mind to prove that this thing of people saying Noah was a pure seed is not right. There is no possible way that idea could be scriptural. Nevertheless I realize the first eleven chapters of Genesis is so compiled, a verse here, and a verse there, they are actually the keys that become the stepping stones to certain things we are looking at. My statement earlier, (you heard how I emphasized it this morning) was that by the time Noah was five hundred years old he had already begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth. You heard how I emphasized that. I read Genesis 5:32, which says, “And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth;” and then I said, What that really means, is that by that time, he had already fathered those three sons: so they could help him build the ark. That is the way I emphasized it: because I was looking at that one scripture. From there I was just wanting to go on into this other event; but I am thankful to God that He is able to put everything in place when allowed to. I realize now, and I have to acknowledge how I looked at a passage of scripture and it appeared to be a certain way; but there are two other verses of scripture that actually remove my former thought from the picture; and it took two other Brothers, each one with one verse, to put the picture together properly for me. Maybe God allowed this in order for me to make this confession to you. Brothers, whoever you are, overseas or in the states, Do not think you can get so sure of yourself just because you are looking at one verse of scripture. Search all of the scriptures and rightly divide them; because in them, put together by the Holy Spirit, is the complete picture. If we are willing to let God teach us He will make sure we get the right picture. I have to say, Lord, I thank you, that you let two brothers, each one point to a certain scripture, that put the whole thing together the way it should be. When I left here after that, another scripture came to my mind: that just made it even clearer. Like I said, I was just going to pass over it this part and go on: but I cannot; because this is a continual unfolding of the total events of those years prior to the flood, what had transpired prior, and then what began to take place after. It was the two verses of scripture taken together, Genesis 11:10, and 6:3, that opened up the others to me. Open your Bibles to Genesis 11:10, first. How many times have I read these scriptures, but just more or less read them because they were there, not finding them to be relevant to what I was thinking. However now that I see them I realize in order to get a true picture of the line of events and where certain things lay, we need them in the picture. I am thankful what the psalmist David said, “Thy word, O Lord is a lamp to my feet and a light to my pathway.” I wouldn’t trade this Bible for anything in the world. There is not a book of psychology or anything else equal to it. When we can see why Paul would write in Corinthians like he did, how God has hid certain things from the wise and prudent of the world, but He has revealed them unto babes such as will learn, then these passages of scriptures in Genesis, especially in this early phase of time when Moses recorded them are precious to our understanding. This is not the result of an oral, handed-down story. In 1450 B.C., as the children of Israel were coming through the wilderness, God began to deal with Moses in these matters. In that forty years of time, he wrote the first five books of the Bible; and he got his information straight from the throne of God. The first is Genesis. We have to believe God spoke directly to Moses: if we are going to accept this as the word of God; and I assure you of this one thing, I place my total confidence in what I read from this blessed old book. When we read in chapter 10, and it begins to show you the genealogical descent of the sons of Noah, notice it does not tell you how old Japheth was when he begat his first son. It does not tell you how old Ham was when he begat his first son. But since realize that from the line of Shem there came a flow of descent that God eventually began to use, the line through which God has revealed His plan of redemption. Shem was the middle son. It was no longer going to be strictly the first born son that would carry the responsibility before God. It goes to show that from then on it leaves the elder and comes, maybe to the second son. It was from the line of Shem, that God would eventually bring forth the Messiah. Let us just ask ourselves the question, Why was the genealogy of Shem repeated twice? It says here in chapter 11, verse 10, “These are the generations of Shem.” It has already given his genealogy in the 10th chapter, but here it gives a repeat. “These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood.” Arphaxad was his first son: born two years after the flood. That is the only passage of scripture that gives you a fixed point in time after the flood. No other genealogy does. So two years after the flood, Arphaxad was born: when Shem was a hundred years old, and Noah was six hundred and two years old. Noah was six hundred years old when he went into the boat, right? They were in the boat just about ten days over a year. There was no birth in the boat, or ark; but since Arphaxad is the oldest son of Shem and Shem was now a hundred years old, and Arphaxad was born two years after the flood, this would show you, when you have six hundred here, then the flood, the year of duration, and another year beyond that would make it 602, as far as that measurement of time in relationship to Noah and the time he went into the boat. Then you subtract a hundred from that, and it brings you back to right here, (pointing to the graph of genealogical descent) two years after Noah’s age of 500, when according to what we know now, Noah begat Shem. Genesis 5:32 says, “And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.” That means that at this point the sons of Noah were NOT already born: as I had previously stated. That was the time when Noah was to begat his first son and start his own family. They were all born after that hour of time when Noah was five hundred years old. This was the beginning of the total process of what we begin to read about. Therefore from the time Shem, which was a hundred years of age, right here, (pointing to the chart) you subtract that 100 years and that brings you back 98 years before the flood. He was actually 98 years old when he went into the boat with the rest. That shows you how important one little passage of scripture can be. It actually gives us a timetable of the other events relevant to what we are looking at. Let us now look at something else. Japheth, in Genesis 10:21, is referred to as being the brother of Shem, but he is the elder of the three. Now if he is the elder, it does not tell you he was born so many years before the flood; but we have to realize, if he was the oldest of the three, and Shem was born when Noah was 502, then we have to put his birth before the birth of Shem, so where does that bring you back to? It places the birth of Japheth in the period between 500 and 501, as you look at the little chart we are using. Do you understand that? Therefore now I can see why in the two different places it says, And Noah was 500 years old and begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth. You just have to realize that is not the order of their birth. The reason it twice states that fact, is because that is the point in time when Noah was to begin his family. In Genesis 9:24, we find the verse that refers to Ham as Noah’s younger son. It says, ” And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.” It does not tell you Ham was born two years after Shem or anything like that, it only refers to him as Noah’s younger son. Regardless of anything else, we realize that when Noah was 500 years of age, God having already dealt with him twenty years prior to that time, It was time for God’s plan to be set in motion. I did not realize this morning, when I kept wanting to read another scripture and something just would not let me go ahead with it; and I said I would finish it tonight: that it was God restraining me. I can see now if we are going to walk with God, He has a right to stop us right where He needs to, so we will not get too far from where we need to be. He can cause you to back up and see something that is very important: if you will just not resist his working. Once again I say, If this message is important, to help some people straighten up the way they look at whether Noah was a pure seed or not, then it is important to get the chronology of every detail of it properly fixed; because that is the only way you are ever going to be able to prove to anyone who will allow the scriptures to speak to them, what we are actually talking about. The world of nominal religion today, does not care one way or another; but I am convinced right here at the end time is when God is going to have a few people on earth who will know some things the rest of the world does not know nor care to know. It will not be because they are doctors of divinity, theologians, nor learned people according to world standards; it will be because God so loves them; and He puts a picture in their mind so that they know how to look at their Bible. Let me say it this way, when God gets through with His Bride, showing her by revelation the picture of everything the Bible contains for her benefit, she will be ready to rule with the great King in the Millennium. God is taking things from the written pages of His word and recording them on the table of the heart’s of His true people. That is actually what He is doing. Now the verse of scripture that the other Brother pointed me to, is this verse, Genesis 6:3. In order for me to read this verse, let me emphasize chapter 5, all the way from the descent of Adam through Seth, and all of the first born’s that followed, straight through to Noah’s hour. Chapter 5 exclusively covers the genealogical flow. It does not stop until it ends by saying “And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.” I emphasized earlier in the message, that Lamech was 777, three 7’s, when he died. If there is any value to numerology, then we have to believe God so ordained that this man’s total life span would represent that all of what has gone on up to this point in time is complete. After that, there is no way we can look to any of those seed and say, They were perfect, genetic pure seed. It was totally mixed up by that hour of time. As time progressed to this point, God had planned the strategy of how He was going to bring certain things to a fixed point before judgment came; and that is why I said this morning, when God chose Noah and his wife to be the one’s He would use, He certainly knew their lives and that they would continue to fulfill their part of His plan. The verse the other Brother read to me, I have also read many many times without it saying to me what I see in it right now. As I look at it now, I do not have to be afraid to say what I am going to say. Sure, verses 1 and 2 of chapter 6, give us a biography of what began to happen as the genetic flow of chapter 5 begins to progress. It goes back and picks this up, back when it began to take place; but somewhere along the line as that rotten process reached a certain point in time and a certain momentum, God took a look and announced His judgment upon the whole thing. Notice now, as we read verse 3, “And the Lord said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man.” Listen carefully; for this basically was said as it was applicable to that present tense condition of what was going on. It is true according to history, that as God watched certain races, cultures, and civilizations reach a certain stage, He would strike it with judgment and begin to bring it to its end. That is why empires have risen, then faded away. Therefore the Lord spoke to Noah saying, “My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also {is} flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” We certainly do not want to allow ourselves to think that God, through all those prior years, had just folded His arms and closed Hid eyes, so to speak, and waited to find out what would happen, as though everything might turn out alright. There was no written law; but I am convinced person after person began to be dealt with, feeling a restraint, something compelling them to refrain from certain things others were doing. When you read the epistle of Peter, where he got his revelation of the events of that hour, there had to be a reason for such an utterance. It was a revelation that was not even written; but he spoke of how Jesus, when He died, went and preached to the souls of those imprisoned spirits, which were sometimes disobedient in the days when the longsuffering of God waited, while Noah was preparing the ark for the saving of his household. Nothing like that is even written in Genesis; but God, by His Spirit, revealed it to Peter. I will read the verse again. (1st peter 3:19-20) “By which also He (Jesus) went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.” When you lay those two verses alongside Hebrews 11:7, it opens up a clear picture of how Noah, somewhere in prior times, was warned of God and built an ark all because of his faith in God. Let us read it, to see exactly how it is worded. “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.” It speaks of how Noah by faith, moved with fear; but I want to assure you, it was by divine revelation of that which was coming that he moved as he did; because his faith in God caused him to know the Creator would do exactly as He had said He would. He was warned of things that were to come; and while he built the ark he no doubt spoke to many of those other people; because the apostle Peter referred to him as a preacher of righteousness. We just have to realize that the apostles of the New Testament, wherever they touched the events of that closing era of time, had to do it through a flow of a revelation in their spiritual mind; because those things they spoke were not written anywhere. We have their writings to lay alongside that which Moses wrote; but they did not have that written record to speak from. Let me read that verse in Gen. 6:3, again. “And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh:” That is what the picture was, as that hour arrived. Right here, is where Paul picked up in 1st Corinthians, chapter 15, how the first man is earthly, of the earth: but the second man, the Lord of glory, which is the Lord Jesus, is of the heavenlies. What is the difference? Actually Paul is saying, by the time God’s judgment had struck that society, man’s entire senses were taken up with material things of the natural world. Mankind in general had ceased to communicate with his Creator in a spiritual atmosphere. All of their thoughts were of earthly things. They could only relate to that which was of the earth. Well just look at what we have in this 20th century society, in the very hour we are living in. Every race, in every nation, think almost exclusively of earthly things: what can I do for myself today? That is about all you hear on the News Broadcasts anymore: just something for gratification of the flesh. They could not care less about God.

THE APOSTLE PAUL SPEAKS

Let me read a few verses from what the apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthian Assembly. (1Corinthians 15:47-53) “The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such {are} they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. (That is, not unless they repent and turn to God with their whole heart’s.) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, (Hallelujah! We are waiting for our change.) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” Let me say this, Those who have a spiritual mind in this day and hour, have their faith and confidence anchored solidly in these last three verses. Whether we are still alive or in a grave somewhere, when that trumpet sounds something wonderful is going to take place; and those who have this hope in them by revelation, in this life, are going to be in that number. The Lord Jesus Himself bore the image of something heavenly. That did not mean His physical appearance was that much different than any Jew that might have been alive in that day: but living on this earth was one man that preferred spiritual things over natural things 100% of the time. He communicated with His heavenly Father in the Spirit. He looked at everything from a spiritual viewpoint, instead of a natural, earthly viewpoint like that generation of Noah’s day. Therefore after 1500 years of watching that element before the flood God said, “My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” Saints I want you to listen carefully to how I say things from here on in the message: for I want you to catch these main points. Where it says Noah was 500 years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth, I know now that this was the time when He started his family. He was the oldest of any of those mentioned when he started his family. We have already pointed out how old each one of the others were when they begat their first son. It tells you in Hebrews, how Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. Then when you read the last verses of Genesis 6, you see how God told him to build the boat, what size it was to be and everything. Well I am saying all of this to let you know, it was not when Noah had reached 500 years of age, that God then said to him, Build an ark. God had already spoken to him about it twenty years prior to that time. We have this little chart beginning with Adam’s beginning at point zero, to compare the age’s of these first born’s when they begat their first born. Lamech was 182 when he begat Noah. Following on through, we see that Lamech, the father of Noah, died five years short of the flood. He died in the year 1651, from point zero. Methuselah, who lived to be the oldest man ever recorded in scripture, died the year of the flood. He was the sign given to Enoch, his father, that when he is gone, then it shall come. So the very year the flood came when Noah was 600 years of age, and God said to him, Come into the ark: that was the year Methuselah died. Not the same day Noah went into the ark, but the same year, Methuselah died. When Methuselah passed off the scene that cleared the way for God to strike that whole thing with judgment. Now in order for Noah to be 500 years of age when his family started, that would mean Japheth was born in 1556, when Noah was 500 years old. We have a scripture verse that tells us Shem had to be born two years after that; and Ham after Shem. Therefore verse 3, of the 6th chapter of Genesis, had to apply to a time twenty years prior to the birth of Japheth: when Noah was 480 years old. That would have been the year 1536. That is when God looked upon the wickedness and all out perversion in the world and said what we read in verse 3. “My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” This whole thing was designed by God, so in the mind of Noah there would be the total picture. I am going to say it like this, When God began to speak to Noah, it was because Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord: not because he was a pure seed. He saw a certain quality in him that stood out above the average person of his generation. That is exactly why God imputed righteousness to him. I will say this, Knowing that God told Noah exactly how to build the ark, I am persuaded also that God spoke to him and said, Noah: It is time for you to take a wife: for I have a plan for you. I am just as convinced that God told Noah things that were never written and will never be understood unless God sees fit for it to be revealed to us in eternity. As we look at the things that were written, and the Holy Ghost enables us to read between the lines and see the things that transpired, we certainly ought not think Noah went about this thing haphazard, like, driving a nail and thinking, I hope it works, or I believe this is what He said I should do. He knew exactly what God had told him. In the year, 1536, which was 120 years before the flood, God told Noah, I will give this generation 120 years more before Judgment. Noah, I have a plan for you after I destroy this generation. You take a wife. Because from your loins I am going to bring forth a seed by which I will repopulate the earth after my judgment prepares the earth to receive them. When Noah went into the boat that day, he went in with three grown sons. Even Ham the youngest of the three, was no doubt above ninety years of age. Noah did not have to wait until those sons went off to Harvard, Purdue or University of Louisville to learn how to drive a nail. Noah educated those boys. They no doubt knew more at that hour than our average doctor of philosophy knows today when he is 65 years of age. I was reading in the last verses of Genesis 6, where God told Noah, Thou shalt build the boat 300 cubits in length. That is 450 feet long. Thou shalt build it 50 cubits wide. Now if the cubit they give here is 18 inches, that means this boat was approximately 75 feet wide. I believe it was stated in what they showed on Television last night, that as they looked at the ark up there on that mountain they more or less estimated it be approximately 80 feet wide. No one has gone up there yet, and measured it. It will be 30 cubits tall. That is 45 feet. Anyone would know, if you build a box 30 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 4 ½ feet tall, there is no way you can capsize that thing. It can bounce, and it can roll; but it will not capsize. That is because of the way it is designed. When its breadth is almost double its height anyone should realize, There is no way a boat with such dimensions could capsize. The scientists may have a lot of ideas about how impossible it is for a flat bottomed boat to be anything that could be used like that; but when God told Noah how to build it, God knew where that thing was going. It did not have a pilot’s wheel on it; because God was going to be the pilot. It did not have a rudder; because God was the one that was going to steer it where it was to go in the first place. It was not designed to anchor in a port: God was going to park the thing on top of a mountain. You know, the more I think about this, I believe we are entering an era of time when God is going to begin to unfold and take the wraps off of a lot of things that have been mysterious until now, things the scientists and atheists have criticized and scoffed at and such like. Remember, saints, it was in the year 1536 that God spoke to Noah, giving him this information about impending judgment; therefore Noah knew in his heart just how long that generation of people living at that hour had left to live. That is why in Hebrews 11:7 it says, “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.” When Noah saw the need to take a wife, (like I said earlier) I am persuaded he sought out a woman that came closest to reflecting his own character and view point. My own opinion is, any man or woman that God has given the breath of life to on this earth, should at least try to find a mate that comes closest to reflecting one’s self: and not just be concerned about good looks alone. There would be a lot fewer divorces. I realize this message will go into the black regions of Africa, into the Orient, and many other countries around the world; but I want to remind you of something. If God would have let the devil go ahead and do what he wanted to do, ( and what he was well on the way of doing) we might have all been born looking like (I am going to make you laugh now.) zebras, or spotted leopards. Think of it. How many know what I mean? Therefore since God saw what the devil was trying to do, He chose Noah and dealt with him in a way to put an end to that plan. Not only did he want to mix up the spirit, the soul makeup, he wanted also to mix up the total physical outer appearance. Noah knew from the time God spoke to him: just how long time would last before God’s judgment would strike. Noah’s three sons were born after he had no doubt already started working on the ark; and as they grew into manhood I can just hear Noah as he instructs them concerning the choosing of a wife. Sons: When you feel that it is time to choose a wife, be sure you choose someone who will come closest to reflecting yourselves; because God has a plan for you to fulfill. You have to remember that Noah was moved by God: not only to build the ark, but also to lead his own family into total acceptance of the plan of the Creator. I have to believe when the apostle Paul stood on Mars’ Hill and preached to those Greeks, he had a revelation of the events of Noah’s hour and knew exactly why it was right to say that “God hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.” Well the flood has came, and God’s judgement had cleansed the earth. It was then time to launch the rest of the plan. The earth had to be repopulated. The fact that Noah never had a daughter, nor never fathered another child after the flood, is proof enough for me that God controlled and completed all the genetic flow in that one man. From that point on, (from the sons of Noah) He began the process of bringing forth the various races that have appeared on earth in process of time. The characteristics of every last one came right from the loins of that one man Noah, who found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Now on the tape, and on the video, listen to me. I say this with respect to every race that God has created. He had a reason. When they began to multiply, they all still spoke the same language that Dad and Mom did. Every last one of them, no matter what the color of their skin, they all spoke the same language. Not one son that was generated from any of these ever fathered a family of children that portrayed any mixed attributes, that is as far as the flesh. There was a white, an in between, and the dark skin, all from the loins of Noah; but they were not all mixed up. If the Bible is right, what I just said is right. Then from each one of these sons came the flow of certain names, you read them in the 9th, 10th, 11th chapters of Genesis in the genealogy after the flood. You see the sons born, then you see there had to be a daughter born of the same parentage, to give those sons a wife to reproduce their likeness. Now keep in mind, before the flood a man could take his sister. At that time, that was not incest. But for a father to take a daughter, was incest. For a mother to take a son, was incest. I want you to catch this. Therefore after the flood that remained the same: It was brother to sister, brother to sister, brother to sister, each begetting their kind. God had set in each one of these the laws that would genetically produce the races He wanted the earth populated with; and from before the foundation of the world, He had already determined this. Well that brings us to another point of discussion which we will deal with.

THE SIN OF HAM – WHAT WAS IT?

Open you Bible’s to Genesis 9:20. The flood is over, they are back on dry ground. “And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; (I want to emphasize who it is that is intoxicated. It is Noah.) and he was uncovered within his tent. (which meant he lay there stark naked) And Ham, the father of Canaan, (which was yet to be) saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. (Watch, the word nakedness there in that 22nd verse) And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness. (That is the third time the word appears. And it says here in the 24th verse) And Noah awoke from his wine, (he sobered up) and knew what his younger son had done unto him.” That is the word that proves to you and I that Ham was the younger of all three sons; and also that what he did was to Noah his father, not his mother. Of course there are various one’s over the world that have jumped so anxiously at this word nakedness and said, Oh, I know what the sin of Ham was: while his dad was drunk he went in and had a relationship with his mother. Saints: There were no children born as yet. This is too close after the flood. I am going to say this without hesitation, If Ham would have used his father’s state of condition to have gone into his mother’s tent and committed an act of incest with her, God would have killed him. That is part of the reason why He killed the bunch living before the flood. Why would He kill all those that did such things up to that hour and then let it start up again before any children are even born? How many get my point? Those that want to interpret this scripture like that go to Leviticus 18. We will start in verse 6. “None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord. The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness. The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.” This is where I have to read and talk to you very firmly; because to me this chapter gives you a picture. The time is 1400 and some years before the advent of Christ. The Israelites are coming out of Egyptian bondage. God has set forth a law and a rule of statutes, by how man, in his multiplying himself on earth, is going to be governed. Let me say this, When you read the genealogy of Noah’s three sons (and all of their offspring were fathered after the flood) it tells you exactly who they each fathered. You can trace the races that came from each of them. What was the husband and wife setup in those days? It was still the same was as it was right from Adam. It was brother to sister, or brother to cousin, and on like that. It carried on through like that right on into the days of Abraham. The day God called Abraham and separated him, the law that some try to prove things by that took place way back here, had not even been given. I must remind you, Abraham was married to his half sister. You say, Where do you get that? Out of Genesis 20:10-12. Abraham, leaving the land of the Chaldeans took his half sister with him. She was his wife. Remember, we are talking about the father of the faithful, the one chosen of God to set forth exampleship and characteristics as to how faith was to be expressed, observed and cultivated down through time. Abraham was married to his half sister; but in those days that was not incest. I hope you realize that. When God gave him his promised son Isaac, the one through whom the promise made to Abraham was to be carried out, you will remember how Abraham in his older years took his servant aside and made him swear that he would go back to the land he (Abraham) came from and seek a wife for Isaac. Swear to me that you will not take a wife for him of these Canaanites. Let us just read a few verses from Genesis 24: while we are establishing the will of God concerning this matter of when certain things changed. I am showing you that long after the days of Noah it was still the will of God for brother and sister to become husband and wife. Here is what Abraham said to Eleaser: Genesis 24:3, “And I will make thee swear by the Lord, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell. (4) But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac.” That is very plain talk. Go to my country and to my kin folks: to find my son a wife. Notice in this next verse how Abraham promised Eleazer that God would direct him in his search. (7) “The Lord God of heaven, which took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake Unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; He shall send His angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.” When Eleazer left that land, he prayed that the God in heaven the God of his master Abraham would direct his footsteps. When he went back to that certain place and came to that public well, he prayed again and said, (12) “And he (Eleazer) said, O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. (13) Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.” Those men knew how to pray and trust God to do what they needed divine guidance in doing. After a while there came a young girl; and when she began to draw water Eleazer felt led to approach her. He asked her if she would draw him a drink from the well; and her reply was exactly as he had asked the God of Abraham to cause His choice to reply. She drew the water and said, Drink, when you are done I will draw water for your camels also. When she drew the water for the camels, then the servant of Abraham asked her who she was. When she told him her name was Rebekah and what her father’s name was, we find out Rebekah was Isaac’s first cousin. That was not incest. I want you to see this. Then from Isaac and Rebekah came the birth of twins. You can see Isaac and Rebekah in Genesis 24:15, how it goes about. When we come to Jacob and Esau, we know how Jacob tricked his brother out of the birthright, and Jacob in fear of what his brother might do, left and went back into the land where his mother came from. Little did he realize he would end up right at the same spot where Eleazer had met God’s choice for a woman to be his father’s wife. When he saw some herdsmen coming, he waited for an opportunity to ask if they knew a certain man. They said, yes. Is he still alive? Yes. How is he? He’s fine. That was his uncle, Laban, which was the brother to his mother. You know the story recorded in Genesis 29. Jacob was invited to Laban’s house. There at Laban’s house Jacob met Rachel’s sister Leah also, and eventually married both of them. At that time, that was not incest. That was God’s ordained way of causing the earth to be populated.

LANGUAGES CONFUSED CHAOS ABOUNDS

Before we go to what we are going to read in Leviticus, let me go back to the time when the seed of all three lines began to multiply. They all spoke the same language as daddy and mommy. You can read in one of the chapters how they journeyed from the east and settled in the plains of Shinar, right where the Gulf War took place, just on the other side of the Euphrates, laying next to Iran. They all said, Let us build a city and a tower that reaches to heaven, lest we be scattered abroad. They all spoke one language, yet by this time they were multiplying and representing various races. They represented various races yet they all spoke the same language. When they got so far along with their building project, God said to the angels, Get ready, let us go down and take a look and confound their language. God knew, that to leave them alone they would never have left that area. They would have all stayed right there congested and crowded together. If God beforehand had determined the seasons and the bounds of their habitation, then God was forced to do something to drive them out of there and make them do what they were supposed to do, fill the whole earth with people: not just one little area of it. Think of it, there were all of Ham’s seed, and all of Shem’s seed, and Japheth’s seed: all huddled together there in the land of Shinar. They could all talk together without an interpreter: so they just thought everything was really going their way. Day after day they worked on the tower. Each day when the sun would go down, they no doubt appraised their accomplishments for the day: it was getting higher and higher. I have no way of knowing how tall that thing got before God intervened in the matter. One thing I do know, is that one morning they all came to work as usual and found that a strange thing had happened. For some strange reason they were not able to communicate with each other as before. I suppose they each thought that other bunch had encountered some strange situation. They tried to talk to one another; but it was all so confusing. As I have said before, God did not confound the language in a man’s household so the wife could not even speak to her husband. He did not confound the language of the children of those individual families. God knew exactly the races He had already started. He knew exactly His intent and purpose in establishing the bounds of their habitation and so forth. Therefore when they awakened the next morning, after God’s visitation, family members of individual households could still communicate; but those that went to the construction job soon found a different picture. They tried to talk over what they would each do that day; and before long bedlam broke out. In my opinion, before much time elapsed there were some tempers exploding. I can just hear them screaming at each other, What is wrong with you? Why are you acting like that? We can say this, Each particular race could talk to each other; but they could not understand why yesterday they could all communicate with each other; and today all the rest were just babbling like crazy people. God did not explain it to them: He just did His work and let them take it from there. You can see there had to be a lot of confusion, disagreement, and a lot of tempers exploding that stopped the whole building process. That ended the whole thing. That was time and expenses wasted; but God was not feeling sorry for them; because they were not fulfilling their commission on earth. He divided them up and scattered them from that place by breaking up their language. That was the way He sent them forth into the rest of the earth to fulfill their commission. Just little by little they kept spreading out.

CHANGE IN SOCIAL ORDER INSTITUTED

Let us go back to Leviticus now; and finish our thought there. Moses was inspired to write this chapter because from that moment on, no Jewish man would be allowed to take a wife from his near kin. The Israelite nation had been in Egypt for over four hundred years and they had multiplied into a great host of people. They numbered into the thousands. When they went into Egypt, in the period of Joseph’s early years they were marrying cousins, sisters, half sisters, and so on and so forth; but now four hundred and some years later God is giving them a set of statutes designed to change all of that. He was setting forth a law in accordance the genetic law that would be in force from then on. From that moment on, man could not take sister, nor half sister, nor cousin, nor a sister to his mother, anything like that. Let us read it in Leviticus 18. We will just read verses 7-8 now, since we have already read some of it. “The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness.” That literally means you will not take advantage of your father’s wife and have relations with her. Right here, is where these fellows get their scripture when they are trying to prove that Ham’s sin was an act of incest; but as I have already said, If Ham had pulled a deal like that he never would have fathered any children into the world: God would have killed him. God had just finished destroying all those who had been living like that; and had kept those three sons of Noah alive to repopulate the earth: so tell me honestly, Do any of you really believe God would have let Ham do a thing like some of these fellows say, and still remain alive to continue on? I say He definitely would not. Now we will read verse 9. “The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.” As I have already said, Back in Abraham’s hour and before, it was permissible for brother to take sister and so forth. That is why he was married to his half sister, and Jacob took two sisters. But notice on down through here: it even goes on and on, establishing this law for the Israelites to live by. “The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness. The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.” You can see as you continue on reading, God had established a law whereby those of close relationship would no longer be permitted to marry. He will no longer tolerate it in that chosen race of people. You can apply that law on this side of the book of Leviticus: but not before. You cannot take that law over to the Genesis 9:21-22, and apply it there. There was no law given in those days. The word uncovered, in verse 21, means exactly that: he was unclothed. Ham seeing his father’s nakedness in verse 22, meant exactly that: he saw him stark naked and began to make fun of him. It was a lack of respect; but certainly not incest in any way, shape form or fashion. There is no need to read any more from Leviticus: I just wanted you to see for yourselves that the Law set forth in Leviticus could not have possibly been applied way back in Noah’s day: for it was God’s ordained way, for a man to take a sister, a cousin and so on for his wife. You just cannot apply one part of a law given way on over here, just because a couple of words are the same. You have to make proper application of the word of God, if you expect to keep out of trouble. Noah did not just suddenly learn how to make wine. They already knew how to make it. Noah just went too far. He drank wine and got drunk and he was lying there in his tent naked: it is as simple as that. You do not have to be a scholar from some Seminary to read and understand a verse like that. I want to illustrate and dramatize something for you; because I know how some of my critics in various places enjoy making fun of Old Jackson. Well at least I can read. Since they want to go to Leviticus and say, That is what the terminology in Genesis 9, refers to, I just want to ask a question. Let us read the scripture again. “And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.” The point is this, Who did he actually see? His mother, or his daddy? It cannot be both. In the 21st verse it tells us who was drunk in the first place. It was Noah. Who was unclothed, Mrs. Noah or Noah himself? It is Noah himself: He was the one that drank wine and became intoxicated. He was the one all sprawled out in his tent without a stitch of clothes. It was certainly not a case of Ham coming along and seeing his dad completely passed out and then going on into his mother’s tent and committing an incest with his mother. When you read the whole account together, that kind of idea just simply does not fit the picture. The word nakedness only appears three times in this Noah event; and each time it appears, notice what else the verse says. When Ham told his brothers he saw his father’s nakedness, watch what they did. Verse23 “And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness.” I just have to ask the question of my critics, If Shem and Japheth were walking backward, why were they walking backward? Who did they cover with the blanket? Were they heading for their daddy’s tent, or their mother’s tent? Furthermore if it was an act of incest the terminology applies to, why was a blanket even in the picture? I have to ask it that way to cause the rest of you to think for yourselves. They did not cover but one person. Their faces were backward away from Noah so they themselves did not see his nakedness. That is the third time the word occurs. The point is this, What did Ham do? I believe it speaks for itself, if we just do not try to make something else out of it. I cannot tell you how many times in my life time I have heard people laugh at a drunk person’s predicament. It is a fact, drunks do funny things; but sober people do foolish things by exploiting such situations and making fun of the drunk person’s predicament. A lot of people may think there is nothing wrong with making fun of someone like that. I have heard them say, Look at that crazy thing laying in the gutter. Well I will not try to repeat any more of it: all of you know exactly what I mean. I just have to say, When you take advantage of someone’s embarrass predicament just to publicize it, make fun, God will sooner or later point His finger at you. Sure it is wrong for a person to be in such a state; but it is quite another thing when you start making fun of such an one. That soon after the flood, there was certainly no place for such conduct. I say that is all Ham did: just simply make fun of his dad. The other two sons had respect for their dad: they covered him with a blanket in such a way they did not have to look upon his nakedness. At least those two older sons still remembered why God had brought such a devastating flood upon the world in the first place. I have no doubt they could still hear the cries and screams of those who tried to hang on to that boat for dear life when the water was rising. They thought Noah was a fool for building such a strange looking thing of course; but when the water started rising and they had nowhere to go to get away from it, they would have been very glad to have been aboard. You could say, Noah had the last laugh; but him being a righteous man, I seriously doubt that he enjoyed seeing them left there to perish. The agnostics, the skeptics, and atheists can make fun of us today because we want to insist on the Bible being the absolute, unadulterated, infallible word of God when they are trying to discredit it; but I have to believe we will have the last laugh, if we feel like laughing. What I really want you to see though, is that incest was not in the picture. Ham just made a humorous, make fun remark; and his brothers did not appreciate it.

CLOSING REMARKS

As we prepare to bring this message to a close I want to state once more, Noah was not a pure seed, nor was his wife. When they went into the boat, they carried within their genetic makeup all the characteristics exercised by the wicked society God destroyed. Noah was a witness, that in him was incorporated everything that the devil had used trying to turn God’s entire creation into mere animal-like creatures. However as I stated earlier, God closed the gate on his activities for that present time when He brought the great flood and destroyed all that were not shut up in the old ark with Noah. That is why I have to believe God spoke to Noah 120 years before His wrath came and said, Noah, I want you to choose a wife and start a family. I am going to give them another 120 years; and then I am going to bring this whole generation to an end. It does not give us any information about when he went out and got his wife; but the fact that twice it speaks there, that Noah being 500 years of age, begat Shem, Ham and Japheth, lets us know he waited 20 years to beget his first son, instead of what I said this morning. I was just looking at that one verse and said, That means that by the time Noah was 500 years old he already had three sons ready to start helping him build the ark. I was wrong there, because I was looking at that one passage of scripture without the other verses that nail it down. I can see now, that raising a family was part of what God instructed Noah to do when He spoke to him. He had already purposed to have the earth repopulated by the sons of Noah. Do not fail brothers and sisters, to realize what Satan was after from the very time he inspired the serpent to seduce Eve, the very act that led to all of that evil mess. It was Eve’s son Cain, fathered by the serpent, that produced all those women referred to as the daughters of men in Genesis 6. Through that very act, Satan intended to pervert the whole genetic law God had set forth in His son and daughter: so the entire society of earth dwellers would possess nothing more than animal-like attributes, or characteristics. Was God surprised when all of that started? No, He was not surprised. He knew the devil would do that before He ever created man; but as we have tried to help you see, God was after a family for Himself that had overcome all of Satan’s temptations and avoided all of his traps: so He had to let them all be tested. Therefore knowing what we know, I hope all of you will agree that not all of those first born sons of Seth’s line kept themselves pure and clear of Satan’s traps. Sooner or later, some of them began to do as the unnamed sons of that line were doing; and eventually that brought an end to the pure, genetic blood line of Seth. That is the reason I said, Noah was the climaxing point of that defilement: because even though he was of mixed seed, he still chose to walk with his Creator; thereby causing God to refer to him as a righteous man. You have to realize, that if all of those first born sons had kept themselves clear of that mixing with Cain’s line, there would have been a pure genetic line all the way from Adam to Noah. You may say, I believe they did: but if you do I will remind you that the Bible says Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Grace is unmerited favor. If Noah had been a pure seed, he would have had no need for grace in the matter of keeping him alive when destruction came. God would have had no reason to destroy him. Do you follow me? Remember also what we pointed out in the beginning of this message: that if Noah had been a pure seed that would mean that he had brothers and sisters that were pure seed also; because the Bible says that after the birth of Noah, Lamech begat sons and daughters. Longevity of life remained in effect right on to the very end in the sons of God line; and I want you to know, God did not destroy any genetically pure sons and daughters of His in the flood. Remember saints, you do not prove a thing like this with only one verse of scripture: you have to look at the whole picture together. However if you only want to look at one verse of scripture, look at Genesis 6:8, which says, “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” I believe we have said enough about this; so let me just say concerning the sin of Ham, (the other point of controversy in some places) You who think you can go to Leviticus 18:8, and get a verse of scripture to interpret Genesis 9 with, you are twisting the scriptures. There is no possible way the terminology used concerning the sin of Ham could be interpreted by terminology used in the law laid down by Moses in the book of Leviticus. I will not go back into a full explanation of the difference: because we sufficiently covered it a little earlier. I just want to remind you that God changed the whole order of who man could choose for a wife when He began working with the children of Israel to build up that genetic structure. What He would look upon as incest over in the time of the writing of the book of Leviticus was not incest in the days prior to that: when God had ordained that brother take sister or cousin and so forth, for the purpose of reproducing themselves upon earth. Furthermore God would have killed Ham instantly: if he had defiled his mother at a time like that, when He had just finished cleansing the earth of all such as that. You have to look at all these things before you jump to hasty conclusions. After the flood, repopulation was to come about the same was as it started out: when Seth took a sister for his wife and his offspring did likewise. It was only that mixing of the two lines of mankind, the sons of Seth taking wives from the daughters of Cain, that brought about the conditions God judged with the flood. It was not what Leviticus defines as incest: that God looked at when He spoke to Noah. God took a look at the whole creation and it repented Him that He had even made man. (Genesis 6:5-7) “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.” When God talked to Noah about all of that, and explained to him about the ark, Noah knew he was to father a family; but he did not know he would never father a daughter. If you can look at all of this right, the very fact that Noah never fathered any daughters to give to his sons for wives, proves that genetically pure offspring was already out of the picture. I hope this helps clear up some of the controversy about this subject; and that the true people of God will begin to think more and more about getting ready for the coming of the Lord. This Church has to be without spot, wrinkle or blemish spiritually in order to be ready to meet Him in the rapture. May God bless every one of you. Amen.
