My Testimony:

This is my testimony of how God has led and directed my life, to establish me in the truth of God’s word and call me into the five-fold ministry that Apostle Paul spoke about in Eph 4:11.  First of all, I thank God for his mercy and grace he has bestowed upon me and my family.  I was raised in a Christian home by Godly parents.  My father was a minister of the Gospel for many years.  His ministry was used by God to bring many souls to know the Lord as their personal savior.  Many of those individuals attend Faith Assembly Church today.  I am the youngest of 5 children.  I grew up in the fear and admonition of the Lord.  I was taught to pray and trust in the Lord for all things.  I was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost at a young age.  I’ve known since a small child that there was a calling on my life, though I never made mention to anyone.  I have been led by God to know, understand and rightly divided the word of truth.  I have been affiliated with Faith Assembly Church all my life.  In 2003, God blessed me and my family to be able to attend Faith Assembly Church full-time.

In 1984, God blessed me with a wonderful wife who is very supportive, lives a holy life, is a prayer warrior and is a wonderful example of how a Christian woman should live and present herself.  Together, God blessed us with 2 wonderful sons and a precious daughter-in-law.  All three attend Faith Assembly Church faithfully and are true examples of how young Christians should live and conduct themselves.  We Thank God and give him all Glory, Honor and Praise for the blessings in our lives.

It was around 2007 that my wife was having some health issues that led her to make an appointment with the doctor.  Upon examination and x-rays, the doctor gave her a diagnosis that was almost devastating to us.  This sent me to my knees asking God to intervene and remove this condition from her body.  I did a lot of praying and seeking the Lord.  It was then that the Lord reminded me that there was a calling on my life and that I must submit myself to him fully.  They sent my wife for further testing at our local hospital.  While in the waiting room, I laid my head back to rest while waiting on them to conduct the test.  I can’t tell you if I fell asleep or if I was semi-conscious, I just don’t know what state I was in, however, I heard the voice of Bro. William Branham.  He said “Now the unbelief has got to go.  Only Believe and your wife will be alright”.  I awoke and they were bringing her out from the test.  She was smiling and uplifted in her spirit.  As we were leaving the hospital, she explained how the doctor that administered the test talked to her and calmed her down.  He sensed her anxiety and concern over the test and diagnosis.  He began to talk with her and help her to get her mind off of the test.  He also told her that he had been doing this particular testing for many years.  He told her that he wasn’t supposed to give her any results or indication of what he was seeing, however, he told her after the completion of the test, that he was 99.9 percent sure she did not have what the first doctor had told her.  He told her to call the first doctor back and get the results of the test that same day.  My wife made the call and to the Glory of God she was told she did not have what the original doctor had diagnosed her as having.  Now I knew I must seek God to fulfill whatever he had for my life.  But again I pulled back.  In October of 2010, I suffered a stroke in the night.  It affected my vision and I was unable to see clearly.  My wife could not make sense of what I was trying to say.  I was unable to stand on my own.  I was taken to the hospital and they performed a cat scan which showed the stroke on the base of my brain.  While in the hospital, the Lord again spoke to me and reminded that there was a work for me to do.  I said, “Yes, Lord.  I will answer the call”.  I was released from the Hospital and made a full recovery, however, I again backed away from answering the call of God.  In 2014, I was on my job and could tell that my blood pressure was beginning to elevate.  I was feeling dizzy and my head was hurting.  I had one of our staff nurses check my blood pressure and she said, “You need to go to your doctor right away.  Your blood pressure is extremely high”.  I left my work and started driving to my doctor’s office.  I couldn’t find his office because he had moved.  I returned to his old office and went inside and asked if they could do a blood pressure check.  The doctor himself took me back and checked my blood pressure.  He said “you’re going straight to the emergency room.  Your symptoms and vitals are a precursor to a heart attack”.  I went to the emergency room and was hooked up to a bunch of monitoring equipment while they ran tests.  While I was lying there, God spoke to my heart again.  This time he said, “This is the last time”.  I knew I had to answer the call on my life.  The next Sunday, Bro. Allen started a series of messages on the Gifts and Calling of God.  It seemed that God was just laying it out there for me.  During one of the messages, Bro. Allen made the statement, “If someone is telling you to preach, it will never amount to anything, but if God has placed a calling on your life, you’ll never get away from it.  I knew that I had to do something to answer this call.  I went up for prayer after the message was delivered on a Sunday night.  I told Bro. Allen and Bro. Thompson there was a calling on my life and I needed to know what to do.  They prayed for me and I thought I would just wait and see how God moved next.  Two days later, Bro. Allen called me and said, “I’m going to just be straight to the point.  You came up for prayer and said there was a calling on your life, is it regarding the ministry?”  I said, “Yes, it is.”  He said, “I felt it was”.  About three years prior, God had given Bro. Allen a dream that God had a deeper calling on my life.  He said, “When can you be ready?”.  I said “well how about I talk with you and Bro. Thompson after the morning service on Sunday”.  He replied, “We’ll I hope it’s sooner than later”.  I met with Bro. Allen and Bro. Thompson after the next Sunday morning service.  After a short discussion, Bro. Allen asked if I could preach that evening.  I told him that I would.  Also, during the phone call with Bro. Allen, he also mentioned that he was not going to be able to make an upcoming trip to Norway which had been planned.  He told me that he understood I had been planning to go along on the trip.  He then said He felt led to send me to preach since he couldn’t go.  I made the trip to Norway.  I know that God had all things planned and worked out.  The meetings in Norway were some of the best meetings I had experienced in my entire Christian walk.  I witnessed a spiritual healing of the people and was blessed to be a part.  Many souls were delivered from the snares that satan had laid in their path.  It was an incredible experience and also helped me to realize that God had truly ordained what was happening in my life and also the meetings in Norway.

I stand committed to God and his Word.  I will stand in the face of adversity, preaching the truth in Love, so that all of God’s children, together, may grow up into him what God gives me and always defending the truths that have been and are being revealed to the church.  I thank God for Faith Assembly Church.  It still stands today as a lighthouse to the world, established and used by God, to shine the Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.

Jesus said in the book of Revelation, Chapter 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.  If you are seeking more understanding, revelation and a closer walk with the God, Jesus has a table spread, where the saints of God are fed, I invite you to come and dine.

May God Bless, Lead, Guide and direct you.
