HAVING READ THOSE VERSES FROM ISAIAH, CHAPTER 49:11-20, AS WE CLOSED OUT OUR LAST ISSUE, WE CAN PLAINLY SEE THAT THERE ARE YET SOME JEWS LEFT AMONG THE NATIONS THAT MUST BE BROUGHT BACK TO THE LAND OF THEIR FOREFATHERS BEFORE THE SEVENTIETH WEEK OF DANIEL GOES INTO EFFECT, SO LET US CONTINUE ON WITH THAT THOUGHT.

Remember, this is Zion, the land itself speaking, in the verses we have just read, so notice verse 21. “Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been? That pertains to those Jews coming home; and remember what the scriptures say: He will bring them into Lebanon and into Gilead. (Gilead is over here right next to the Golan Heights.) And place shall not be found. All this means there is still in front of us another giant wave of immigrant Jews coming into Israel to fulfill this prophecy. Actually the southern part of Lebanon, where the Jews in 1982 set up this kind of no man’s land, that really belongs to the ancient tribe of Dan. When the tribe of Dan was taken away in 728 B.C., along with the other tribes, we know from then on the various nations round about began to hack away at this piece of Palestine land. It has seen many changes in the centuries since the Jews were taken out of it. However living in 1994, knowing that only a short interval of time lies ahead of us, we are going to see Israel take back every inch of that land. I just have to say, The hour is coming when the world, and society in general is going to get the shaking of their lives. I read here, that Israel has consented to have U.N. peace keepers enter the scene: They have never wanted to do that. But now they are consenting for U.N. peace keepers to have a voice in what takes place. When U.N. peace keepers come in to negotiate and keep opposing forces back, that sets Zechariah 12 in motion; because it brings representatives of your united world of nations in on Israeli affairs. There is no doubt in my mind, that as this thing keeps on moving forward, there will be more U.N. peace keepers until it reaches a certain almost intolerable point. When it reaches the point that Jerusalem itself is now the negotiating obstacle, then what does the Lord say in Zechariah 12? Though all the nations of the earth be gathered together against thee, I will break them to pieces. That lets me know that is not a military invasion. That is the whole world politically positioned, massed, to show their disfavor of those Jews that are so uncooperative. It is like a paradox: Out of one side of their mouth’s they will say, Yes the who want to should be allowed to immigrate back to their homeland: Then when they go back, no one wants to give them a place to settle. The cry from opposing elements is, Give up this part, Give up that part and so on. The same ones that have said, Let them come home, now say, They have to give up this land for the sake of peace. Let them immigrate home, but give them no place to settle down. That is like taking a million chickens and sticking them in a 12 by 12 room. Would you not say so? It just simply will not work that way. As we look at this thing about Jerusalem, this is a prophecy that shows us, that in the days that the walls are to be built, God will again show unto him great and marvelous things. Therefore with that, let us go to Isaiah 60.

THE CITY TO BE RESTORED

In Isaiah 60 you are dealing with Jerusalem, the temple, and the city, how God has touched societies, nations, kings, politicians and such, to accomplish all of this. Here is a point, The old city Jerusalem, which is located at about this point (pointing to map) is not a large place. They claim the old walled city is roughly four square miles. That means it is not a large city, but it is a city of stone. It is a city that must be restored to its beautiful antiquity; because that is the way this city is going to be projected into the Millennium. If the year 2000 is just a little over six years off, and Haggai 6:2, speaks of the two days of time that we understand to be a prophetic dispensation, and realize that it terminates in the year 2004 and 1/2, then that would mean something must soon be set in motion to start this rebuilding process. Of course some people would look at this with a lot of strained feeling. Bro. Jackson, common sense would tell you this cannot be done: because of such and such. You can say that, because you have never lived in an hour of time when God sovereignly ruled the whole show. No saints, you have not seen it like that before; but you have had the opportunity to read of it. How many have read the account in the Bible of the time when King Solomon built his temple, how there was not the sound of a hammer or saw heard? How many have read that? Where was all this building material prepared? It was prepared out there in the areas where it was brought from. What does that tell you? That tells you that whatever kind of engineers and architects they had in that day, they were not all Jews. That project had technicians from the various nations round about. It was King Solomon, the type of Christ, who was the engineer of all that. So in the rock quarries, in the granite areas, in the foundries where the brass was melted and molded, each man knew his job. Think of the cedars of Lebanon, the oaks of Bashan. Bashan is right along in here. That is why it says in Micah, that they will again feed in Bashan and Gilead. That means Jews will once again eat there. It makes me feel excited: to know that God is in complete charge. While this miserable world we live in today is sick, full of crime, perversion and disease; and no one has a cure, it is comforting to know that God Himself has already announced the cure: which will be nothing short of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The coming of the Lord is the cure; because He will set up a righteous rule; and old Satan will be bound, unable to lead people astray. Hallelujah! That is the hope and peace of all true believer in the world. Now we all know, as the status of conditions exist right now, there is no way Israel could start building Jerusalem. The whole world would be down on her. Financially she does not have the resources for it either. Where is the money coming from, to do that restoration? It tells me in Haggai 2 when the prophet Haggai looked upon the little temple being dedicated in that day and the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, God saw some of the old men standing there. They were small children when they were carried away from Jerusalem. They remembered Solomon’s temple, how beautiful it was before it was brought to the ground; and seeing this little thing standing in its place made them weep. God wanted to comfort their hearts; and as He did so, knowing why they felt like they did: because they did not have the material means to build it the way they felt like it ought to be built, He promised them saying, The gold is mine, the silver is mine, so the glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former. 2500 years have come and gone and there is still no temple on Mt. Zion. But I believe there is going to be one very soon now. The old city is nothing like the King in the Millennium would want to look down upon. All of this makes us realize something has to take place to get these prophecies activated; and it cannot be very far in the future. From the natural the world can say, It is impossible, it cannot be, it is not for now, it has to be way off in some future century of time; but I must say, It is now. Now is the hour when God is going to show this world great and marvelous things on behalf of His people Israel. When the world is not ready, when the world is not looking and the world thinks it is impossible, all things are possible with God. We can see now how this thing comes about. It just opens up here in Isaiah 60. “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, (He is talking to Israel.) and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” There is an hour when God will set this in motion; and you can rest assured the whole world is going to realize there is something going on with Israel they have never seen before. “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, (What kind of darkness? Spiritual darkness in ignorance and immorality.) and gross darkness the people: (The sun is just as bright as it ever was, you know that. So what kind of darkness is it talking about? Spiritual) but the Lord shall arise upon thee, (Israel) and His glory shall be seen upon thee. (Israel) And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, (That does not mean Bill Clinton is going to say, I’m sorry I allowed the gays so much leverage. When he allowed the gays, he helped to spread AIDS. You all know it. All these characters he puts in political office, you can see how the devil just patted him on the back, you’re a wonderful fellow. I am not talking about this from a political standpoint. We have just as many ornery Republicans as anyone else up there. So this is how we have to look, as the world enters the hour of the miraculous.) and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” Yes, Israel is beginning to shine, she is important. Now the world wants to kill her. But wait until the hour of the miraculous. Oh I tell you, let me use this, a new little boy just moved into the community. He comes to school wearing faded overalls, but they were clean. All the other kids were thinking, The poor kid: and they start to pick on him. But one day his dad managed to strike it rich. For some reason he fell heir to a good sum of material wealth. The little fellow began to come to school with new overalls, new shoes; and soon they noticed that he was riding a new bike. I can just see all those kids that used to tease him, taunt him, belittle him, humiliate him in so many ways, all of a sudden they are asking, Would you let me ride your bicycle? Is that not the way the Devil does things? Did any of you ever witness this sort of behavior? It is repeated over and over all the time. When you do not have anything, phooey with you; but when it begins to look like you have got something, then it is a different story: Let us be friends. They want to get in your pocket. That is exactly why it talks like this in these scriptures. When the world thought Israel could never be anything they had that same attitude; but just look where she has come from. Nothing, you might say. “Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: (This is letting us know there is a future wave of immigrants who I have to believe are those coming for spiritual reasons and spiritual purposes, because they see it through the eyes of the miraculous. God wants it to be this way. When those people come, and they are drawn by the miraculous, this sets the stage for the two prophets to come on the scene in a time like that, when hearts are excited and filled with expectancy.) thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. Then thou shalt see, and flow together, (A united people, Ephraim and Judah together becoming a mighty nation, according to Zechariah 10.) and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea (Now this is telling us in symbolic language, and I do not want to hear anyone say, Bro. Jackson, could it not be so and so: This is not talking about spiritual conversion of anyone at all? This is talking about the conversion of material substance, how humanity, how people of different areas of the world begin to respond as they see the opportunity that lays before them.) shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.” This does not mean military forces of the Gentiles. No. This means material substance. Look what the chapter contains. It is the building of a city. Then it immediately goes to verse 6; so let us stop and think for a moment. How could the rest of this chapter fall into place if somewhere between now and this point, there was not a war of such miraculous proportions it wakes up a multitude of people? When Israel sweeps across Jordan and goes all the way to the Euphrates, I have to say, She will do it with such speed and such lightning like swiftness, those people will never know exactly what happened until it is all over. When we think of our episode in the Gulf War, as an American Gentile I just have to thank God. I know every one of you do too. I do not care if the Jews say our Patriot missile did not do any good. Something did some good: because from some of those pictures I saw of those planes moving into position, I have to say this, The newspaper showed that Apache helicopter hovering there just like a hummingbird. It dropped those warning leaflets to all those in that bunker. Four hundred and some Iraq soldiers were in there, scared half to death. To think that a mad man put them in such a position: It is inhumane. We will let you infidels wallow in your own blood, He said. He failed to consider the fact that he was messing with Bible land. Cyrus crossed there. Darius the Mede traveled down through there. Think of all the battles, and all out wars that were fought in ancient times: when empire against empire fought it out in that same area. God showed the world in such a short little space of time which side was the victors. Well just wait until Israel’s hour. I have to say it will make the world cough and blink and wonder. Something has to turn all of this vast area of people all the way to the tip of Saudi Arabia, from that old Islamic belief. This is the part the Gentile religious world today are as blind as blind can be about. They do not see that little seemingly insignificant scripture there in Zephaniah 2:11, how God says He will famish all the gods of the earth. Let us read a few verses there, (9-13) “Therefore as I live, saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them. (10) This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the Lord of hosts. (11) The Lord will be terrible unto them: for He will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship Him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen. (12) Ye Ethiopians also, ye shall be slain by my sword. (13) And He will stretch out His hand against the north, and destroy Assyria; and will make Nineveh a desolation, and dry like a wilderness.” Why will God famish (cause to wither away) all the gods of the earth? If He does not destroy that Islamic religion before the week of Daniel goes into effect, you rest assured there would be constant conflict all the time. But that city is going to be built and that is exactly why as we do approach this hour, when we see the 11th chapter of Revelation come into focus, because John was given a reed like unto a rod, and told to measure the temple and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the outer court leave out. What does that tell you? You know that part of the week is that hour, That lets you know the temple is built by then. But the outer court leave out, because it is left to the Gentiles. And the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. That goes right to the last half of the week when the antichrist is ruling. So we have to realize most of this rehabilitation and renewal must take place prior to, and within the first half of that week. Do you understand the picture? Once the Gentile beast system moves in, (led by the antichrist) everything has to stop. Meanwhile only the miraculous power of God will change the status in the Middle East. When we see where it says the caravans will come to Mt. Zion, they will bring the gold and incense. You and I know, out of Saudi Arabia, out of Medan, out of Sheba, here they come. Those are the richest oil nations in the Arab world. Keep in mind, these people in this whole area are all half brothers to the Jews. There is where Mohammadism started. He is the one that started all this religion there. Therefore this is where that spirit has to be dealt with first. That is why when you get over in the land of the Medes and Persians, which is Iran, that comes in under Ezekiel 38 and 39. They are not Arabs. They are under the Islamic spell; but they are not Arabs. When we see in the scriptures how they come from Medan and Ephah and Sheba, bringing gold and incense and shall show forth the praises of the Lord, it causes us to get excited; but out here in organized religion they say, That all takes place in the Millennium, Bro. Jackson. That is not in the Millennium. That is this side of the Millennium: when the city and the temple is being built. It plainly tells you it is to beautiful the place, or the house of my glory. So if the house of his glory is being built here round about the time the week starts, then you know good and well that is not off over here in the Millennium. It has to be before the Millennium starts. The temple has to be there for the antichrist to defile throughout the last half of the seventieth week of Daniel: just like it says in 2nd Thessalonians 2:4. As I have stated all along, Isaiah 49 and Isaiah 60 go hand in hand. Turn back to Isaiah 60. This part of our chart that looks like a little book represents the entire seventieth week of Daniel, which is the last week of years in that prophecy of Daniel. You can read the 9th chapter of Daniel, verse 27, and put it with Revelation, chapters 11 and 13; and pull the end time picture together. This is where the two prophets of Revelation 11, have their thousand two hundred and threescore days: in the first half of that week. The false prophet will have a terrible period of rule and reign in the last half of that week: which will last for forty two months: finishing the week out. What we are dealing with here is the rebuilding of Jerusalem, the Jerusalem temple, and the city itself, getting it ready for the Millennium, which goes beyond what we have drawn on our chart, when Christ will rule from that temple for a thousand years surrounded by a beautiful city. Old Jerusalem presently, is not anything one would refer to as beautiful. It is in a run down condition; but in that day it will be beautiful; and it will be the world’s headquarters. With all the hostility there is in the Holy Land between the Arabs and the Jews, it looks like an impossibility for there to be such a thing as a Jewish temple built where the Mosque of Omar is today. In the light of present conditions, as the world stands today, there is not a human being in that Islamic world that would agree with you, if you told them what you know and said, Let us get together and build the temple to the Lord. You know it is an impossibility. Something has to take place. Too many in the religious world who just read haphazardly at the Bible, say, Well when the Lord comes and destroys all the opposition forces, that can all be fulfilled over in the Millennium. That is not the way the Bible is reading it. As children of God, we need to learn how we should look at the near future.

THE GOD OF ABRAHAM-THE PEOPLE OF ABRAHAM

Conditions in the Middle East right now, could very well be the triggering device to set in motion some kind of change in Israeli policy and government. With thousands of Jewish people there now, living in the settlements they have immigrated to, built in the last twenty some years since they took it in the Six Day War, those Jews do not want to give up what they have labored for, even jeopardized their lives, and caused their children to be jeopardized in a hostile community where they have ventured to live, believing that the Bible is true, and that in the last days saith God, I will bring you back, and I will plant you again in this land. Whether you know it or not, some of those Jews hold to those prophecies. Then to think this Gentile world wants to deny the Israeli people this opportunity. Yet we have a bunch of sympathetic church going people today who know no more about the Bible than a jack rabbit knows, and they say, Now you cannot do those poor Arabs that way. It is just the way you are looking at it. I say that all because the Gentile religious world today is exactly in the same state, spiritually thinking, as Judaism was 2000 years ago, when God sent the Messiah the first time. It is one thing to look back and read how the Jews, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the Zealots, how hostile they were to Christ. Now we have had the gospel about Him for almost 2000 years and we have become just as head strong and indifferent, and as inconsistent to the picture in the Bible as the Pharisees were to the Law and interpretation of their prophets two thousand years ago. Anyhow my point is, Whether we like it or not, whether we believe it or not, and whether we understand it or not, or even care, God’s word is going to be fulfilled to the letter. That is the kind of confidence I have in God to keep His word. There are millions of people in this world that could not care less which way the sun sets, all because they live strictly for a materialistic world and a fleshly betterment of themselves. They are for self, for whatever they can get for themselves, never even considering that there is a God somewhere they have to give account to one day. The point in this message is to show you, especially you young people, your life time is going to see a change in the whole scope of human affairs that exist right now on this planet. Just as sure as Jesus said, As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the day of His coming: it is like that; and no one in his or her right mind would deny it. Our own liberal politicians today will bend over backwards to give liberty and sanction to all the immorality and social upheaval, which to me is even more proof that the Bible is right. It is the only book that said it would be like this. It is the only book that said the wicked would do wickedly. That does not mean every mortal creature that walks on this earth is a wicked person, or wants to be mean. But there certainly is an element alive today that are wicked; and they enjoy being mean. They are fulfilling the word of God exactly, whether they realize it or not. God has a way of dealing with people: whereby thousands may witness a certain thing He does and only a few recognize Him in it. We know Christ and His church will sit upon thrones on this earth, ruling and reigning for a thousand years, and if we are as close to that era as it looks like we are, we have to expect that God is going to set some things in motion to begin to deal with this intellectual, highly sophisticated, educated realm of society, to bring a few of them back down to earth, put their feet back where they are supposed to be and let them know, I am God, I do what I please. In other words, You are just a piece of clay in my hand, He could say. God has ways of getting mortal mankind’s attention. When He does, He does a good job. In the light of what we are reading here, the 60th chapter of Isaiah, as it connects with the 49th, about the rebuilding of the city, and the re-inhabiting of the city by the Jewish people in the last days, we should be getting a little anxious. As we have stated before, Three fourths of the old city is inhabited by Arabs. The rest is what they call the Jewish quarter. The PLO in the city is wanting the Jewish people to get out; and we know that is opposite of these prophecies. Jerusalem must eventually, not a hundred years from now, not fifty years from now, not twenty five years from now, but very soon be peopled by all Jews. Well I just have trouble accepting that Bro. Jackson. That is why when God turns Israel loose in the Middle East, which He is no doubt in the process of doing, watch the scene: You will change your mind. When that conflict will be over in a miraculous period of time, that entire Arab world is going to be literally turned completely around. What makes them hostile right now is the fact all those Arabs which know they are a half brother to the Jews, believe their god, Allah, which Mohammad talks about, is the god of Ishmael. They believe he is the same god that Abraham served, therefore the promises of God are through Ishmael and that line, making the Arabs the recipients of all the promises of God. Naturally that would deny the Jews who are the descendants of Isaac the right to be the recipients of those promises. I believe it is safe to say this, God has let the end time come, focusing like this, so eventually He can show the entire world that it is through Isaac that the blessings shall flow, not through Ishmael. Nevertheless this could not be proved in a hostile society like this, unless God shows His divine power in a miraculous way. One of these days when He turns Israel loose to put this whole problem to rest, when it is all over with, there will no longer be a country of Jordan: because in ancient times there was no such place. The Edomites, the Moabites and the Ammonites, which are Arabs, they will all come under the governmental control of Israel. That is why in Isaiah 49, those that live in Jerusalem, those that made Jerusalem look like a run down city, those that made the land look desolate, will be far removed. Instead of Jews being removed, it is Arabs that are going to be removed. That is hanging right before the world today and the world does not even realize it. We are just waiting to hear the trucks crank up and see which way they go. Now I grant you, as I talk like this, yes there may be a starting of such things as these Jews slowly, weeping, crying, feeling so bad to have to walk away from their belongings, because the government leaders of Israel have sold them down the drain. Just do not forget, God has a place, He is going to reverse the issue. Instead of the Jews giving up, it is going to be the Arabs forced to give up. When they do give up, then the Arab is no longer going to have that hostile attitude: That will be because God has taken that Islamic belief from them. Now some might say, clarify yourself, Bro. Jackson. Well it will have to be done on the field of battle. When God proves to the Edomites, the Moabites, and the Ammonites, as they are compelled to put this spirit of hostility to rest, it can only be done by armed conflict. When God shows His miraculous power, that He is the God of Israel, and Allah has no place in any of it, that will be God’s way of fulfilling the prophecy of Zephaniah 2:10, how He will famish all the gods of the earth in that day. That means any kind of religion in any place, that stands in the way of Biblical prophecy being fulfilled, God has a way of snapping it out and getting rid of it. We are entering the end time and everything is going to go the prophetic way. Let us watch Jerusalem in the rebuilding process. This is not Israel out selling bonds. Israel is not going to go out here selling some kind of fast, quick return bonds, getting money to build the temple. God has done this so He can reach out here in this Gentile world and touch an element of human society that has material substance they will willingly contribute to that cause. They will actually want to have a part in the reconstruction of the city and the rebuilding of the temple. Now as we turn to the 6th verse, we have already read how the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee, and that pertains to the Gentile society in that hour of time. Whatever lays out there in the way of material things, whether it is the best limestone there is in the world, which comes from Bedford, Indiana, or whether it is the cedars of Lebanon that grow on a ten thousand foot mountain range in northern Lebanon, God knows where every bit of it is. He knows exactly what kind of man He will have to put in office there, so when that hour has arrived, He gets what He wants. Look at Saudi Arabia. Look at all this vast area where the seed of Abraham went to. If you want to know where the seed of Abraham went to, turn to the 25th chapter of Genesis and you can read it. After Sarah died, he married another woman by the name of Keturah. She gave him six sons. The day came that Abraham was old in age. He gave these six sons gifts. Not a necktie or a new set of shoe strings. He gave them enough money so they could go off in the east country and start up business for themselves. But all of his estate, which was his property and vast wealth, he left to Isaac. So into the east country they went; and we are going to read about them. “The multitude of camels shall cover thee,” it is talking about Mt. Zion where Jerusalem is. I do not know if you remember looking at the news in the Gulf War. Many times when they would show these training exercises by our troops as they would hit into Saudi Arabia and were marshalled off into the various areas where they would camp, how they would be out among the sand dunes. I know at various times you would see camels in front of them, running wild. Here the prophecy is, how the dromedaries and camels will cover thee. Keep in mind the sheiks and oil barons in Saudi Arabia may drive their Cadillacs, but that old fellow that lives out in the tents, he still rides his camel. That is what I am looking at: the hour when those Arabs from the Mediterranean all the way to the tip of Saudi Arabia have their whole spiritual outlook changed. It will have been changed because God wants him to do something. I can see that Arab, when he hears the news: It is no longer Allah, it is the Elohim of Israel. I want to go meet him. I can see that poor fellow get on his camel and take his family, here they go over the sand dunes, heading for Zion. “The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian (That is the general area Mohammad came from.) and Ephah, (This is one of the sons of Keturah.) all they from Sheba (This is another one of Keturah’s sons, and you see exactly where Sheba is in Saudi Arabia.) shall come: they shall bring gold (Egypt was known in ancient times for its great abundance of gold. In the northern parts of Saudi Arabia it is believed to be where the gold mines of King Solomon were. We do not necessarily have to think that all this has to be interpreted as gold though. That might have been the source of that country’s wealth in that time; but we know that is the richest oil company there is in the Middle East. I just heard this past week, Saudi Arabia seems to be the most dominating, controlling force there is in the OPEC oil industry. When OPEC recently had a meeting to see about curtailing the flow of oil, they failed to reach any kind of agreement. Saudi Arabia said they were going to increase the production. Now gas is the cheapest it has been in many years. The point is, transfer some of this gold, which means the wealth of Saudi Arabia, that she has in an hour that God wants to use some of it.) and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the Lord.” Where? In Jerusalem. Not at Mecca. Now we move to another locality. “All the flocks of Kedar (Read Genesis 25:12-13. These are sons of Ishmael. They settled in here along the southern regions of Jordan going into Saudi Arabia. All the flocks of Kedar is talking about sheep and goats.) shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth (another son of Ishmael) shall minister unto thee.” Why does it read like this? This lets us know God knew a long time ago how in the last days as He would bring Israel back, and in a slow process of time begin to restore the nation into proximity, into position, into all the geographical land markings He had promised to Abraham, He will do it; and what we read here is how He is going to close it out and finish the city, and the temple, getting all of it ready for the end time. Here He is telling us the substance from that portion of the Arab world, which you could not in any way get one dime from right now, for that purpose. In the Jerusalem Post that I read from earlier, it shows this picture. On a particular day, it shows an old Jewish man, he was bald headed. He was carrying something in his hand like a little satchel; but he was going to the western wall to pray. Something like a sixteen or seventeen year old Arab boy, a Palestinian, in the old city of Jerusalem, kicks this old man, knocks him down. He is beaten into unconsciousness before the authorities are able to rescue him. My point in quoting that is to ask you this, Do you think we Gentiles today are to imagine that Jesus is going to come back and rule the world from a temple sitting in the middle of such an element of hostile people? when they are not the legal heirs of that city? The Jews are the legal heirs. They are the one’s that have been denied what is rightfully theirs; so God has to show something here in the closing days of time that will open the eyes of those He desires to use. Since we realize right now that the present Israeli leaders that have sold the nation down the drain for compromise, willing to give up that which their people have suffered much hardship to hold on to, have no vision that they are back there to get ready for their Messiah, (I am talking about Rabin and Peres.) it just stands to reason that there will soon be a change in Israeli leadership. They have nothing in mind about building a temple. They envision nothing about starting an animal breeding program for the purpose of sacrifice. In fact if there is an element of Jewish society right now that would say, I believe we ought to start an animal breeding program for that hour when we will have the temple, politicians would step in the way. God knows all about that though; and I am fully persuaded that He has it all in the workings even as I speak about it. In spite of that, this scripture right here proves that somewhere in the region round about, there is an area of those Arab people that have a certain type of sheep and goats God is going to accept; and they will be sufficient to start the process as the temple and altar are rebuilt, to fulfill what we read in Revelation 11. Let us continue on. Here is the descendants of these two sons. “The rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.” That pertains to the building of the temple. The building of the temple is not something they wait here until the two prophets are already on the scene: it has to start back here somewhere. Now as we look at this, where He said, I will glorify the house of my glory, take that back to Haggai 2, where the Lord through Haggai prophesied in that period of time, the gold and the silver is mine. The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former. Here we are looking right at it. To think this prophecy was even prophesied before Haggai’s was. God’s word is accurate and to the point. It is precise. Let us move to the 9th verse to hurry up the process. “Surely the isles shall wait for me.” This is God’s way of saying, When this hour of the miraculous has come and the world will be made to see my glory resting on the nation of Israel, it will be a different story. That is why you read it in the first five verses, it is going to awaken an element of Jewish people in the world who are to fulfill this last wave of immigration to come and fulfill the picture. There is an element of Jewish people still out there somewhere that definitely want to go home and dwell in Jerusalem. Others are going to want to dwell in southern Lebanon, just as it says in Zechariah 10. Others are going to live in the regions that is now called Jordan, in the land of Bashan and Gilead. Benjamin is over here; and Reuben along the Jordan on that side. There has got to be another move to reinstate and restore all twelve tribes in geographical proximity. That sets the stage and it will not take sixty long years to get it done. It will be a miraculous thing. He is saving the miraculous until the last. I think of all the scientists, professors, archaeologists, evolutionists, who stand before our teenage bodies today, with all their theories and ideas and all the archaeological findings. They just found a new skull in Africa. I forget how many million years old it is, believing that was the great great granddaddy of all of us. I will tell you real quick, He was not my granddaddy. Surely the isles, this tells us no matter where this Jew is when that hour comes, they are going to hear the message and say, I want to go home. “Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them.” That means when that hour hits this world it is not going to be like those Jews that had to leave Russia. The Russian government confiscated everything and left them only with clothing and a few things to come home with. When this hour comes these Jews are coming home, bringing everything they have with them. I hate to think what is going to happen when they leave Wall Street. There is where the wealthy ones are. Wait until they come home bringing their silver and gold with them. There is going to be a crash on Wall Street for sure. When the world sees these things, I have to say, The economic picture is not going to be like it is right now. “Unto the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because He hath glorified thee. (Israel) And the sons of strangers (This is the part I like. I realize we have in our highly sophisticated colleges a lot of students studying engineering, and all kinds of draftsmen. When we look back in the days of King Solomon and realize how he was able to build such a magnificent temple, think of it, with such crude means of bringing material, what they accomplished. It will not take Israel that long to put this next temple together. With all this high tech machinery, drilling rigs and the way they do it today, God gets the world set. In the world He gets the attention of a few. Right now if you were to announce your attentions on the radio and ask, How many out there today would be willing to go to Jerusalem tomorrow and give six months of your time and talent to help clean up Jerusalem and tear down the old stones for rebuilding? What do you think the reply would be? I have better things to do with my time than to get mixed up in that holy war over there. The point is this, When that hour comes, there are some in the world going to be made to realize that this is the end. It is what you show to contribute your part that determines whether you will be blessed by God or not because it is all wrapped up in that very thing. He that will not minister to Israel in that hour, God says He will bring him to an end.

RETYPED TO EZEKIEL

So this miraculous era, as God sets the agenda for it, He will have His way of getting young professional tradesmen, engineers, masonary workers, skilled in all kinds of stone work, the best there is to drop everything and go to Israel to be a part of what is taking place. They will want to go. God is going to have the best. “And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls.” It is not like today, when we have already shipped our industry south to Mexico, to Ecuador, and to the Philippines, so we have to retain our labor forces for some other kind of occupation. It is not going to be an educative program in that hour. No. It is God using what the world already has, and He is going to have the best. Did you ever hear preachers say, God wants the best? That is because he wants you to dump in his wash tub what you have, because he is going to get it. God is going to have the best; but it will not require some preacher somewhere to take up an offering and solicit volunteers to do the work. God has His own way of saying, Come here young man, you did a fine job building that subdivision, and now I want you in Israel. Bro. Jackson, why do you talk like that? There are two things I was told in the times we were in Israel. Number one, In the valley of Jezreel, which is in the north part, that is the valley where the battle of Armageddon is to be fought, right now that is a beautiful, fertile valley, where they grow rice, wheat, and all kinds of delicious food for export. Now they are even growing cotton. However shortly after they had taken that valley, shortly after the Six Day War, when that valley was nothing more than waste land, a man from Texas in a tour group, as they stood in the remnant of Ft. Megiddo, he looked out across the valley, then later, going into that valley he said, You know, with this soil, they could grow cotton here. It was known for centuries that cotton would only grow in Egypt. He asked permission to take some soil back to Texas with him and run a test. Through the Israeli Agricultural Department he got permission. He took some home and ran a test on this. He notified them that the land would grow cotton of the best quality. At the time we were told this story we were standing there looking at bales of cotton, standing on end all along certain sectors of that Jezreel Valley. Number two, it took a Texas engineer to get the thing up and running. Those Jews that came from all different sectors of the world, did not come back as carpenters, engineers drawing designs and things like that. They were just not of that sort. This Texas engineer made the comment to a certain leader in Israel, I can show you how to put together a prefab building, the type of terrain and the materials you have, and the location you build, you can build it as big as you want, or as small. You can add to them any time you want to. He showed them how to build the forms so they could put in precast slabs and do the plumbing work with all the pipes in the walls. they all have that molded groove in them. There is a cement put in there, that is why when you see new subdivisions going up in Israel, they haul these slabs out there and level the sand and put up this room, put another next to it, they can add as many as they want to. Go up on top. It is like building blocks. In a few hours time they have a complete apartment complex built. All that tells you God knows exactly in these last days, how to get the technology He needs to put something together. As sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, imagine the old city of Jerusalem, which we now picture as a run down place, being rebuilt and made into a beautiful city. Yes it is old. Yes the stones are large. Many of these stones have been used and reused and reused so many times, but this city somehow has to be renovated and reconstructed and designed for its Millennial hour. God has engineers and technicians scattered throughout this world: that will be ready to go when the time is right. Think of it, if this miraculous thing was to take place in the next, we will say month and half in front of us, think what the condition of the hearts of many people will be. When it does happen, and we know it will, there is going to be young people stopped in their tracks everywhere. They are going to have to look at their future life altogether different than what they had been looking at it. There is going to be some young people say, God has to be with Israel, nobody can tell me now there is not a God. Some of these silly professors, and all their atheistic philosophy is going to be dumped as garbage. When the miraculous begins to unfold, how are you going to be able to stand and look evolution in the face with the miraculous staring you in the face? You are going to go one way or the other. None of this is going to convince the whole world there is a God. One minute Pharaoh said yes, the next minute he said no. One minute he said go ahead, and the next minute he was ready to bring them back. That is the way we have to look at the world we live in. “And the sons of strangers shall build up they walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smot thee, but in my favor have I had mercy on thee.” Now let us look at the quality of the material as that hour approaches the world. Notice, “The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee.” What is the glory of Lebanon? As I said awhile ago, ten thousand feet above sea level, on a mountain range in northern Israel there are ancient cedars they claim are five thousand years old. Several years ago they turned it into a national park to preserve these cedars. They are so old it almost looks like an old man with his beard grown down to his feet. There are cedar trees standing, waiting for the hour their Creator will call for them. In the temple, there will be a certain amount of wood work used. That is where you see wood turned into all these fancy designs. I call it gingerbread work. “The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, (to do what?) to beautify the place of my sanctuary.” He spoke this twice, Up here when He was talking about the animals and the gold and incense, He talks about glorifying the house of His glory. Down here He is talking about this material again, to beautify His sanctuary. “The sons also of them that afflicted thee.” I think of the German nation in WW2, how they helped execute six million, burned them, shot them, tortured them, skinned them alive and made lamp shades of their skin. They drained their blood, to give to their soldiers blood transfusions. We hear in that nation today of skin heads with their anti Jewish attitude. Wait until the miraculous beings. I wonder if they will not grow some hair back where there has been no hair. I tell you, The God of heaven can break the stiffest neck and melt the hardest heart. “The sons of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of they feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.” Go on down through there, it will plainly tell you the various updating of the quality of material that will be used in the next temple. For iron He will bring such. For brass He will bring such. For wood He will bring such. This beautiful temple is to be rebuilt for the Messiah to sit in: so God is going to see that only the best from the various places is used. Yes saints, everything is planned to perfection. When the time is right, everything will fall into place.

THE LINEUP OF THE EZEKIEL 38 WAR

There are those who still ask, Just how and where does Ezekiel 38 fit into this end time picture, so we will go over that again at this time. For the sake of understanding, let us place ourselves within the last two and one half or three years, as we are approaching the week of Daniel. This great miraculous restoration is now beginning to go on. Think of it, out of all this region, here is all these people coming to Mt. Zion to contribute something of their substance and wealth. Even from the isles of the Mediterranean. Even from the other regions of the Gentile world, there will come material substance. But watch this, Over here is old Persia. It is called Iran today. Down in here (on the map) is Ethiopia. It is under the Moslem spell. They are not Arabs. If we had the whole map of Egypt, it lays right in here, but Libya over here. It too is Moslem; and they are not Arabs. Then when we cross the Mediterranean we come to Turkey. That is the house of Togormah. It takes you straight through Russia into Moscow. That is why when you read Ezekiel 38 and you read the lineup, it addresses Gog, which is the ruler of Russia at that hour, and all those that will have an alliance with Russia. This shows you the geographical position of all these Islamic believing peoples that somehow or other are under a league to line up with Moscow, to take one last stab at Israel. I just want to show you how we have to look at that picture. In the 36th chapter of Ezekiel, it gives the promise, I will bring you back into the land and establish you according to your former estates. That is what God says; and He is doing it. That is a promise. That is why I can say before it is all ended, Israel will have all this, and she will run it straight through to the Euphrates River. She will do away with Iraq. That is to fulfill Abraham’s covenant that God gave him. Notice in Ezekiel 36, as He said He would bring her down into the land, then when you come to the latter verses of the 36th chapter it says “And they will dwell in fenced cities.” You that have been to Israel, when they took us through the Jordan Valley from the upper part of Israel down to the southern part, coming down the Jordan Valley the guides would always show you those new settlements. This was the land that was taken in the Six Day War. We were shown that over in the Gaza Strip. These areas where they took in the Six Day War, Jews went in, where did they dwell? They wanted to go and live in renewed places, which they knew at one time was an ancient village or town there. That is why it says, They will rebuild the ruined places and till the desolate places that have grown up. That is what they began to do. But why the fenced cities. It is because wherever they did this, they were still living in areas of hostile Arabs. Therefore it took the chain link fences nine feet tall, that could be electrified so that at night they could go to sleep with the feeling that this would help keep the enemy out. Notice how accurate the word of God is. That has been the picture for twenty some years since the Six Day War. But when we come to Ezekiel 38, we get a different picture. When this takes place, the Bible speaks of how Gog will say, (Ezekiel 38:11-12) “I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, (12) To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.” Do we have a contradiction in the same prophecies? It cannot be so. We have to understand that each prophecy is showing us a sequence. In other words, this is how it was at first when Israel was compelled to take this land; but over here something has happened and now she is dwelling at peace with her neighbors. There is only one way she can dwell at peace with her neighbors. That is when she fulfills those prophecies we have been talking about, and takes the land of Edom and Moab, and Ammon. “And Israel in that day shall be a terror to them round about.” That is what we have to look at. When Israel puts the Arab world at rest and God strips them, and shows them it is no longer Allah of Ishmael, but rather Elohim worshipped by Isaac. That is when those Arabs will say, Then the God of Isaac I will serve. That is the picture. The God of Isaac I will serve. The point is, and what we have to understand is, The Arabs are Israel’s half brothers; but the Iranians are not. The Libyans are not, the Ethiopians are not. Turkey is not. They are all presently under that Islamic spell. This is how we have to understand God is going to show the world one last great miraculous war, in which Israeli forces do not fire a shot. I know right now it is almost inconceivable that you could get natural minded people to even visualize what is going to take place; but as we read it, this is God’s way, when the Jew has put the Arabs to rest, then here is the Arabs helping Israel rebuild. Do you think these Islamic believers over here can stand for anything like that? This miraculous episode that will have taken place over here, and they see the people who used to be Islamic believers with them, contributing to Israel’s interest, they will say, Those Jews have deceived them. It is going to antagonize them, and humiliate them to the point where they cannot help but want revenge. There is only one super power in the world that would contribute military forces to them, and that is exactly what Russia will do. It is just like Iraq had in the Gulf War. Well let us look at this thing being set in motion. Here is the miraculous. Here is the building of the city. Here is the temple going up. There are all those Moslems in that part of the land crying out, Holy war, holy war, holy war; so do not think for one minute that there are not terrorist organizations backed by Iran today, teaching and training for an hour when they can carry on a holy war from one end of this earth to the other. It is a known fact, that when the World Trade Center was bombed, it was planned by those terrorists out of that country. They have already bragged that there is not one spot on earth they cannot get. Therefore when you go to sleep at night, do not think for one minute, that they do not have their agents crawling around out there somewhere. God is going to put them to sleep; but only after their hour arrives, and they have been allowed to take their best shot at Israel. For several years I have been saying this, The world will one day see one of the largest military air drops mankind has ever carried out in any warfare endeavor. How can you say that Bro. Jackson? The language in this book causes me to say that. I am looking at the language, then I am looking at the practical, geographical layout of this war. Let us read the language. Go to 8th verse, “After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years (That is for the hour of time this generation is living in.) thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, (meaning it has all been restored) and is gathered out of many people against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.” That is speaking of the Jews of course. Yes saints, the hour is coming, that the Jews will have torn down their gates, and their fences, because they will feel that they do not need them anymore. The formerly hostile Arabs are no longer a problem for them. There are no rocks being thrown, nor any bullets flying. Things are really going good in the Holy Land; but this other bunch of Islamic believers are angry. They are humiliated. They want to get even, and show the world who is the greatest. Look now, at verse 9, “Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, (Where do you look for a storm? Out of a hole in the ground? You look toward the sky.) thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee. Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; (The chain link fences are no longer there.) I will go to them that are at rest, (at rest because the Arabs are no longer hostile) that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates.” I have seen the chain link fences with their bars and gates. These things ought to tell us something. The 15th verse says, “And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud (Where do you look for clouds? In the sky.) to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me.” Notice it said heathen; but do not look to Africa, to the bush man in central Africa for those heathen people. Just look to North America. Look to this great continent, that at one time had the knowledge of God and gave place to Him. Those days are gone forever: We suddenly began to get a liberal minded society; and now they feel for the most part that they no longer need God in schools nor in any of our governmental bodies, nor in the courts of the land. We do not need God: is their cry: Let us get Him out of here. We do not want any more of that religion stuff. Maybe not now; but just wait until God gets through with what He has planned: He is going to get some attention around those places. He wants to use something; and there is an element of American society out here that will no doubt be used by Him. I believe there are a few teenage people that have not gone completely anti God, that He can speak to; and it is the only salvation they will ever know. It is His way of getting all this junk out of their minds, getting their hearts in tune with Him, to make them realize there is a God after all; and cause them to know that His power has been demonstrated before them. They will say, No matter what the atheists say, I want to live believing there is a God that controls all of this. Because of their attitude, God can use them: That is the only way they are going to be allowed to be carried over into that Millennial hour. Therefore looking at this language, let us try to illustrate something. God says He will be known by the heathen. When we think where Russia is, and of this great chain of Islamic people coming down through Turkey, we have to look at something else. Just say, for the sake of illustration, If there was to be a land route with all of these forces coming in, here are the Persians over here. Somewhere there has to be a general link up of road networks if this conflict is going to come by land routes. Here is Ethiopia over here. Hers is the Red Sea. There is no way she can put forces in Israel without planes unless she does it by an amphibious landing; and the best point for that would be the Gulf of Aqaba. How many know what an amphibious landing is? Let us look where Libya: over here on the other side of Egypt. Way over here. That is Khadafy’s kingdom. He is just absolutely whetting the sword every day, waiting for the opportunity to play his part. He parades his rockets up and down the street. How can he bring a land mass? He would have to cross Egypt. But we realize, according to Isaiah 19, Israel has already put Egypt to rest by then; and made friends with her. Egypt will already be in the process of building an altar and offering prayer and thanks to God. That poses another impossibility: for Khadafy to bring his land forces across that way. The reason I am saying this, is because, in this day of spy satellites, we have a network; and Israel is hooked into it. Israel has the best intelligence and spy network there is in the entire world. There is no way ground activity in Russia, Turkey, Persia, Libya and Ethiopia could even function, starting in that general direction, without the Israeli Air Force knowing about it and being all over them. If that were the case, instead of reading in the Bible that when it is all over, there is continual employment in Israel, (if it were by land means) you would probably read it like this, And there was continual employment throughout the Middle East, for in the various nations where God has rained His devastating power, they need to clean up the rubbish. You do not read it that way though. There is one geographical spot in Israel where God has let this thing focus on. We do not even know exactly where it is. It is unwritten. It is only spoken of as the Valley of Hamongog. We know of no valley by that name. However the wording of the scriptures lets us know there is not going to be a seven year period of cleaning up rubbish on the highways: where Israel has knocked out a great land caravan moving toward her. Rather than that, it will be how Russian technicians and military analysts have designed a secret attack: to put a mass of thousands of troops on the ground in a matter of minutes; and they will not be scattered all over creation either; so there is only one way they could do it. Just we were successful in the Gulf War by jamming the Iraq radar systems and radio network. Our fighter planes could go in and play with it, do not think Russia does not have a jamming system also. But I am thankful to God that when you read it, it is a war that the Israeli’s are caught in, when they do not know it is coming. That is why God says there will be a shaking in the land of Israel. Even the fish in the sea will know about it. He will rain great rain and hailstones upon them. I have to say, It is absolutely impossible to describe such an event: because it plainly tells you in there, that Israel will hire men of continual employment and for seven long months, searching and seeking the dead to find where they are. That should tell people something: Because in general types of warfare, where men on two opposite sides, in certain geographical areas, whether it is by mortar, artillery, or rifle, they know the general vicinity. Whether it is five miles this way, or three miles that way, they know the general vicinity where this terrible battle has taken place; so why go ten miles the other way to look for the dead when the fight took place right here. I hope you understand what I mean. If this is something they have strategically designed, a certain drop, they have to come with enough troops and equipment to accomplish their objective, enough equipment to last those troops until there can be land routes established. That is where God brings a devastating surprise to them. In other words He uses nature. Think of it, when the thing is all over, and the news media back in Canada, the United States, and Europe and everywhere else for that matter, begins to tell about this terrible, disastrous thing that has happened, at a time when Jerusalem was in the process of being rebuilt, and the temple going up, can you just imagine what they will be saying? Sure it will be a sneak attack, but God will know exactly, how and when to cause nature to fight for Israel. If you do not think a torrential rainfall of several inches of rain in one hour’s time, along with chunks of ice about 150 pounds each, and other smaller ones is sufficient to turn back such an attack you had better think again. If you think you could drop fifty thousand troops in a certain geographical spot without anything happening, think again. All that rubbish you read about is not something that has been hauled in by trucks. It is all that equipment and supplies dropped by air, and it has floated and drifted around all over the place. It has hit the earth everywhere because disaster has disrupted the whole process. God literally wipes out everything but one sixth part of those men. You might say that was one war where there were few shots fired. God just reaches out and does such a miraculous thing the heathen will know that He is the Lord. I realize it may sound fantastic; but when I read how for seven years Israel is cleaning up the rubbish, I believe every bit of it. Simple thinking tells me she is not hauling away some old dilapidated tanks still there from her 1948 war. Furthermore the tanks used in the war of 1967, the war that only lasted six days, are still sitting in the place where they were burned. Why is she not hauling them off? You just have to depend upon the Spirit of God to open up these things to your understanding. I remember back about thirty years ago, when Russia was roaring and carrying on like she was, prophetic teachers were saying, Russia will play an important part in the last days because she is in a great horse breeding process right now. That is because the Bible says, (Ezekiel 38:15) “And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army.” You just have to translate Bible terminology into terminology that fits our day and hour of time. It is pure nonsense to think that Russia could bring thousands of horsemen into Israel, when we already know how one Apache helicopter could terrorize 430 some men inside a concrete bunker, in the Gulf War, saying to them, Come out and give up, or we will send a bomb in after you.For you who want to hold to the horse theory, I will ask you one question. Where would you rather be? Would you rather be in that concrete bunker out there in the desert, or sitting on the back of a horse coming to Israel, with Israel able to monitor your every move? I hope all of you understand what I am looking at? It is horsepower: not literal flesh and blood horses, that those invading forces will be depending on. It is horsepower of the most modern up to date technical way man has designed for the purpose of putting a great mass of troops into a designated spot to fulfill a military objective; and be assured, when they do come, God Himself will wipe them off the face of the earth: all but one sixth part of them. That is why they will hire men of continual employment for seven years, to clean up the land. Slowly they gather up the rubbish. For seven months seeking out the dead bodies. Whenever the tourists pass by, if they see one they notify the authorities. That is the way you have to read it. You can plainly see that this was a war planned by the enemy; but the very fact that it was not stopped by human engagement, but rather God Himself engaging the enemy, caused them not to know where all those dead bodies fell. Therefore they have to go out looking for them. I can see it all: When God uses nature to accomplish His purpose, there is no doubt there will be an earthquake hit that particular drop area; and also a devastating rain will be turned loose on them. The men will not even have time to hit the ground. Even Israel will stand in awe: as it begins to dawn upon them what has happened.

MODERN TECHNOLOGY

One thing I did want to mention before I finish this message: to go alone with what I read to you from that economist: because he mentioned the computer, is something a brother told to me the other night. We realize the computer has been around for several years now. It was designed primarily as a military weapon; but later on scientists began to realize it could be used for other means as well: to accomplish various things for modern mankind. Well saints, just look what it is being used for already; and now we are hearing about the computer controlled car. It seems that they are on the verge of coming out with the bar code system on automobile windshields. In that bar code system on every new car will be all the information to tell who that car belongs to. A radar gun mounted on a utility pole at a strategic corner, or on an overpass, wherever it might be, as it reads that bar code and you are breaking the speed limit, a few days later you get a letter in the mail: Report to police headquarters: you were caught exceeding the speed limit. All of this tells me that the computer is slowly being turned into a tool that will not only control your mind, it will control your whole way of life. It will control your home; and it will control society at large. One of these days you will be just a statistic in the memory of that. That is why we read Revelation 13 like it is. This economist who wrote that article we read, said, It is a historical fact, that every five hundred years mankind and time completes a cycle. He told how the printing press in 1450, Gutenberg of Germany invented the first printing press. By 1492 when Columbus went back to Europe and said he had found a new world, the printing presses were in every major city reporting it. The news began to spread across Europe like a wild fire because the world was coming out of the Dark Ages. What is light? It is information, in that sense. By 1520 here came Martin Luther and the Reformation was born, and every printing press was fast at work spreading his message. Now five hundred years later man has made a monster, the computer. The devil is going to harness that thing, in an effort to control your life. If it can control the economic system by how you buy and sell, it can control you when you walk down the sidewalk, how fast you drive down the street and so forth. To think there is the computer car. It has been a test model for quite awhile, but now it is known that it is a car that can be built. Whether to say this computer car will hit mass production, we just do not know; but we do know we are approaching the two thousand year junction in this age of time; and things are rapidly changing. Is is hard to keep informed of all that is going on. Anyhow, no matter what happens, all these things are adding up. We are moving toward the end of this Gentile Age; and may the Lord help us walk right in His sight as He winds up the whole thing. God bless you every one. AMEN.
