To some of you, some of the things I will say this morning might sound like a lot of repeats, but this subject we are on today, it is very important that we see it in the prophetic light that it is brought out in, in the scriptures. We have titled this, “Abominations Bring Tribulations,” and by the help of God, I believe we can learn some things the church world is missing completely. The word abominations is spoken of in Daniel in different places, but I want to emphasize the point, that there are three times the abomination that bringeth desolation is spoken of specifically. I want to say also, When God sets out to do certain things, He does it in three phases. It is just like the first resurrection. The first resurrection, which is bringing life, the resurrecting of all that has life, it is accomplished in three phases. When the Old Testament saints were raised at the resurrection of Christ, the apostle Paul backed that up as he wrote the Ephesian epistle. It took the apostle Paul to give us the revelation of what the rapture is. I grant you there are critics once in awhile that will say the word rapture is not in the Bible, and I have sense enough to know that is true, but I also have sense enough to know that when Paul spoke of what he was writing about in 2nd Thessalonians, as well as 1st Thessalonians, he was not just talking about a resurrection of the dead saints coming out of the ground: he was also talking about a resurrection and then a translation. He is the only one of the apostles that wrote about that translation in that manner. In the next phase, Jesus will not be on earth when it is accomplished. Then the third phase is constituted over here when the tribulation period is closed, and Christ is seen coming again. His wrath is poured out and everything is wrapping up. When the wrath and everything is all applied, then is when He brings forth the third part of the first resurrection. That is recorded in Revelation, chapter 20, starting in verse 1. Now this red line (on the chart) represents those that will be raised from the different periods of time, having white robes, even way back from the Old Testament period, and we see that those Old Testament saints were raised right here when Christ rose. Nevertheless that line continued on; and there have been people that died through that period of time, that will absolutely be part of those wearing white robes. Right there, where that period ended, is where the Bride saints start. Even then, those that die or are martyred, however death comes to them, if they do not live long enough to manifest any fruit, they will be in this white robed group, because to be in the number among the bride is the utmost calling, the highest calling of God in Christ. The rapture, or catching away of the bride saints takes place somewhere in the first part of the seventieth week of Daniel. Then the last part of that first resurrection takes place right here, at the end of that week. Paul is the only one that spoke of this. As I said earlier, Hal Lindsay supposedly wrote that the Bible does not mention anything about a rapture. Well I say it does: it just does not use that word. Being caught up to meet the Lord in the air is the same thing. We will now take another look at this word abomination, because it has been a problem for some. Why is it described like that? Why are there three phases of it? What brings it about? What causes it? I want to weigh my words very carefully, because we have a lot of people listening in Israel, and I want to deal with this basically for those Jews that would be listening to what is said. Every time this word abomination occurs and is fulfilled, it is usually because the political leaders of Israel have failed to keep in tune with God and allow God to lead them and direct them and speak to them. They compromise and sell out to the political systems of the world. Somewhere within that period of time, there always seems to be a certain generation of political Jews that should know better, but miss the mark and become subject to the chastening of the Lord. Therefore God has a certain way of dealing with their disobedience. We want to try and straighten up this word, great tribulation also. I have done a lot of research, trying to find out what different historians used the word with, and the terms in which they used it. Actually the words great tribulation, only occur in Matthew 21:21, Revelation 2:22, and then Revelation 7:14 where we see this great multitude as described by John. Let us look at chapter 7, starting with verse 9. When John saw this great multitude standing before the throne of God, he was asked by one of the elders, Who are these? He said, Sir, thou knowest. That elder said, These are they that have come out of great tribulation. Now because that is written in that 7th chapter of Revelation, all your historians and doctors of divinity, want to point that to the tribulation period right here in the last half of the 70th week of Daniel. That is not what that multitude represents. The time has come for the Bride of Christ to begin to understand what was written, how it was written, why it was constructed in certain specific ways and given to us to understand here at the end time. You will never straighten up the church world. They have their own ideas. This abomination, has been applied and it has been fulfilled already, twice. Last Sunday, I thought I would finish this message, but through the week there has been one word that kept coming before me. When this thing is fulfilled here in the last time that the abomination is to occur, we find that it is written in Daniel. Every little word is a clue to something. It is how we look at that, that points us to another scripture. I want to establish that as we study these scriptures.
LOOKING AT ABOMINATIONS
Let us now go to Daniel and understand the first time this abomination was fulfilled. Go to Daniel 8. This incident occurred approximately 175 years before the advent of Christ. The time had come when the Grecian Empire and that era had come in. God caused the children of Israel to find favor with Alexander the Great. That fell around 300 and something B.C. But after the Alexander the Great period, and he was dead, apostasy began to set in, in the nation of Israel. By the time we come to this time, a prince has raised up in Syria. The Grecian Empire has now become divided into four territorial areas. Each territory has their own particular leader. Syria was the predominant one. Out of this royal family of the Syrians came this man called Antiochus the Great. I am going to start reading in the 9th verse of the 8th chapter. “And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.” I have histories with me, but I have no intention of standing here and reading a lot of history. However as I say these things, I want every believer that is listening, to understand that I know what I am looking at and I know why I am saying what I will say. What happened back then was fulfilled precisely and exactly. The reason I bring that out is to show you, when we come to the second time and that is what Jesus said in Matthew 24, verses 15 and down through there, that was fulfilled in 70 A.D. I read last Sunday how Dr. Scofield and other writers of prophecy have referred to Matthew 25:15, as pointing to the last days, while Luke 21 was pointing to 70 A.D. I just want to say again, That is not so. What Luke wrote in chapter 21 and what Jesus said that is recorded in Matthew 24, was all said at the same time. It is just how each writer in the different eras record it. Matthew 24, verses 15 through 22, was still talking about what would happen in 70 A.D. But now let us get back to this one here. “And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.” In other words, all that means that when Antiochus came on, he had a different attitude toward the Jews. Because as we read the background to this, leading up to these verses, he has already been in Egypt, according to Josephus and Bloss’ history, but he has heard about an uprising or something in Jerusalem. He has come back. “Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice (Notice, here we come to the sacrifice. That has nothing to do with what happened in the Matthew 24:15, words Jesus spoke. It has nothing to do with what is going to happen in our day and time pointing to the revelation time.) was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. And an host (meaning a multitude) was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, (Now this goes to show the spiritual side of the children of Israel.) and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.” Now two thousand and three hundred days, that is a little over six years. About six years and a hundred and some days. Where does that all come in? It tells you here, and I am going to return to the history, how the secular historians have written about that event. It is not long, and I want to show you the two thousand and three hundred days. Some historians have used that and translated it into years. That is using the structure completely wrong. Also, I have a history, others have taken the thousand two hundred and threescore days, which is the last half of the week here, and they have translated it all to what happened in the Reformation. They talk about the Catholic Church coming into power in 538. Then when that head was wounded, it talks about Napoleon and what he did in 798. I have the book with me. When you translate the days to the years, yes, it makes a thousand two hundred and threescore days, but that is not what the prophecy of the last three and one half years is even talking about. You don’t translate that to years. It is still days. How many realize that? The reason I am bringing this out, Christendom has been up and down, in and out, here and there. It has had everything prophetic thrown at it, until there are pieces of ideas laying in the peoples minds without any clear picture, but the time has come for the Bride of Christ to have a true picture of what is does say, and what it does not say. What did it mean, what did it not mean? That is why I am going to read to you what happened by Antiochus Epiphanes when he came back from Egypt.

“Antiochus Epiphanes, called the illustrious one, ascended the throne left vacant by the death of his brother in B.C. 176. He engaged in a war with his nephew Potolomy, (You will find that name in history.) and conquered all Egypt except Alexandria. (That is the city at the mouth of the Nile River.) He took the young king prisoner, affected to act as his guardian and to treat him with the greatest attentions. The Egyptians however, applied to the Romans, (They corresponded with the Romans.) who as arbitrators compelled Epiphanes to set the young king at liberty and restore the cities he had taken from him. The Jews, having revolted against the Syrian monarch, (This is the revolt.) marched into Judaea. He besieged Jerusalem and took it by storm. During the three days that the city was abandoned to the fury of the soldiers, eighty thousand Jews were slaughtered, (Such fury. When you take the word abomination, it means fury, anger, hatred.) and forty thousand taken prisoner. To his other crimes, he added sacrilege. He forced his way into the temple, He entered the Holy of Holies, (a pagan Gentile king) He carried away the altar of perfumes, the table of shewbred, the seven branched golden candlestick, and other precious things of the sanctuary. (In Josephus, it says he carried away all valuables of silver and gold.) Sometimes after, Antiochus published a decree requiring all the nations of his domain to lay aside their ancient forms of worship and adopt manners of his decree. The Jews refused to comply with this command and such a horrid persecution arose, as no pen can portray. At this time, happened the martyrdom of a Jew named Eliazar, and seven Maccabbean brothers. Tidings out of the east and out of the north now troubled Antiochus. He divided his forces into two bodies, committed one part to the command of Lysus, with orders to exterminate the Jews. (His aim was to destroy every one of them.) while he led the other detachment against the Armenians. The army of Lysus met the little band of Jews, commanded by Judas Maccabbeas (they had not killed him as yet) upon the plains of Mespha. The Syrians were defeated in a dreadful slaughters. (The Jews did it.) Two more battles gave the Jews such decided superiority that they marched to Jerusalem, recovered the sanctuary, rededicated it to the services of the true God, and devoted the week to thanksgiving and praise. (There is not much more to read, but I want to show you how that sanctuary was all cleaned up after two thousand and three hundred days.) Antiochus, hearing of the defeat of Lysus, set out himself for Judaea. On his way, fresh expressions met him, saying that the Jews had thrown down his idols, overturned his altars, and established their ancient worship. At this intelligence, he ordered his coachmen to drive with the utmost speed, that he might satisfy his vengeance by making Jerusalem the burying place of the whole Jewish nation. (That was his aim.) Scarcely had he uttered these words when he was seized with the most excruciating pain. (He was in his chariot.) As the horses were running at their greatest speed, he fell from his chariot. The agony of his bruises, added to the torment of his disease, drove him frantic. He imagined that spectators hovered around, reproaching him with his crimes. Recognizing the hand of divine justice in the anguish he suffered, he exclaimed, it is meant to be subject unto God and man, who is mortal, should not think of himself as if he were a god.” Josephus tells at the same time he came back and did this to the temple, he offered a sow. That is polluting the sanctuary and polluting the altar. He ordered them to stop their Jewish ritual of circumcision of little infants. But many of the women went ahead anyway. It tells how he had these women hung on crosses, crucified. He killed the little babies and hung them over their necks because they refused to obey his orders. That was all done in that period of time. So you see, you don’t interpret those days into years, two thousand and so many hundreds of years. It was actually two thousand and three hundred days. When you add it up, it is just a little over six years. That is the period of time this whole episode lasted. This is Bloss’ Ancient History. So also did Josephus say the same thing. So the point is, it was an abomination that brought desolation to the religious structure of the Jewish people. But because they had gone into apostasy, not all of them, but mainly the political leaders that had brought about this, while there were others rebelling. Epiphanes went about to destroy them. Now we will say no more about that which happened then. I brought that in just to show you, those two thousand and three hundred days did not have any prophetic link of meaning in any other era of time. It was all fulfilled under Antiochus.
BACK TO ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION
Let us now go back to Matthew 24 again. When we do read here in Matthew 24, starting in verse 15, Jesus only quoted part of Daniel 9:27. Let us see what it says here. “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, (Naturally everybody’s mind goes back to Daniel 9:27, where they read, and he shall make a covenant with many for one week. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice to cease and the oblation for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate. That is the way it is worded. But Jesus did not quote all of Daniel 9:27. That is the part we have to look at. In Daniel 9:27. it speaks of abominations, plural, and here He only speaks of it in the singular, when ye therefore shall see the abomination. See, it is a singular word. It is not plural. But does the average Christian read it like that? No. They think of Daniel 9:27 immediately, if they are familiar with it.) spoken of by Daniel the prophet, (Sure, Daniel spoke of it, but keep in mind, Jesus is just using part of the prophecy.) stand in the holy place, (That word stand, it looks like there is something standing there. That is why we have got to understand, what the word abomination means? Is it something built there? No. It is a period of time in which the devil, whatever is done, it will be executed with such evil, enmity, hatred, seeking to destroy, to deprive the inhabitants. Now notice what He said.) whoso readeth, let him understand.” Like I said last Sunday, We need to think of ourselves, when Jesus said this, He said it then to His disciples who were then alive. It was a long time before it was even fulfilled. Now some of those disciples that heard Jesus say that, were not even alive when this was fulfilled. They had been martyred because there has been thirty some years between the two points. Then I have to say, When He said that, whosoever readeth, let him understand, do you think those disciples were going around all the time carrying something, saying, Well He said to read something, He said read something and understand? No. A lot of the things back then were not even put in writing for a good while afterward. Matthew, according to his account, his epistle was not written until seven years later. My point is this, When He said whosoever readeth, let him understand, is He speaking to everybody in every generation? No. That comes right down to you and me, because Jesus knew good and well when He spoke that, that when the time came that Luke picks it up and describes it like this, Jesus said when you see Jerusalem compassed with great armies, then let him which be in Judaea flee into the mountains. Did He mean sit around on your haunches until that has all taken place? If you knew there was going to be a terrible storm come to town and blow it off the map, and the meteorologist could give you a certain date, what would you do? Sit there until it is fulfilled? No, you would not. You would be as far away from town as you could get, wanting to be sure you were out of range. That is how we have to read certain things that have been written. Then once it was fulfilled, keep in mind, those that did return, they returned to a city of junk. In Daniel it said, and unto the end thereof desolations are determined. Luke records it like this, and Jerusalem shall be trodden under by the Gentiles until the time of the Gentiles be fulfilled. There was no history written then to give you any picture as to how this was going to apply: it took time and history, conditions and everything to bring it about. Therefore my point is, we are living in a day when all these fragments that are laying before us in written form, both in histories and such, are being put together into a picture that leads to a revelation. Doctors of divinity and prophetic teachers have played with it, well it could be this; and it could be that, but they have no scripture to substantiate their surmising. What they put together, is not done by any kind of revelation whatsoever. Yet they are trying to tell the Christian world, Look out for this and look out for that. I am saying this and I hope I do not find myself just repeating things I have said already.
WHAT REALLY STARTED THE DESTRUCTION OF JERUSALEM?
Those early disciples that heard Jesus speak the words concerning what was ahead, some of them were still alive. When they began to hear that word has reached from Rome, Vespasian is in the north, those disciples had already seen this rebellious spirit that was working among some of the Jews: There were actually three of them, John, Simon, and Eliazar. Constantly having sort of like religious rivalry. When it got to its worst, this Eliazar, which seemed to be in command of the temple area, and the men with him were trying to take complete control of Jerusalem and the place of worship. Other Jews that went to the temple were slaughtered right in the area where animal sacrifice was to be taking place. This was the condition that was going on in Jerusalem when some of the garrisoned Roman soldiers at Jerusalem sent word to Nero, Send help to put down this revolt. Nero dispatches Vespasian, the main commander in the Far East at that time. He had a large garrison of troops in Syria. But he had his son, Titus, with him. He was already hearing rumors of what was going on in Jerusalem, but he knew also, that if he was to advance from Syria to go toward Jerusalem, he would no doubt meet a lot of opposition between where he was and where he would be going. Thinking like that, he sent his son Titus to Egypt to bring two garrisons of troops to Jerusalem. That was several thousand more men. Then when he did start this advance southward toward Jerusalem, villages and cities rose up in utter rebellion. Some stayed and fought, others fled going further south. It was this kind of situation that began to develop in the countryside. The rumors that did begin to reach Jerusalem by these people that fled there, I have to say these were the things that the disciples that were at Jerusalem began to hear and could look at one another and say, It is time for us to go. They did not stay there until the troops arrived, they got up and got themselves out of there while they could. How do we know that? We know because, when you read in Josephus’ records how the Roman soldiers besieged that city, there was no way anyone could ever have gotten out of there after the troops surrounded it. For five miles back, every tree and every rock, and every building was torn down and moved. Did not Jesus say he would cast up a moat against it, meaning a parapet of dirt? The troops encircled that city and the mound of dirt, trees and wrecked buildings made it impossible for anyone to get out that way. Now tell me, If Jesus would give those Christians some spiritual insight as to how to look into the future, do you not think He loves the believers enough here in the end time to give them a little secret of what to do? That is why I have to say, You can read after every doctor of divinity, the traditional historians and whoever, but out of this book, the Holy Ghost is going to take different writings and put a picture together for you and me to understand. Then, whosoever readeth, let him understand. Now if we understand, then when we do read Matthew 24, we know the words of Jesus were fulfilled precisely, and exactly as He spoke them, but it did not annul the whole prophecy of Daniel 9:27. How many realize that? When we look at this, I am going to read it slowly, and read how Luke wrote it in chapter 21 and Luke 17. It is split up over there. In Matthew 24 where Jesus said then shall two be lying in the bed, one shall be taken and the other left. Two shall be grinding at the mill, one shall be taken and the other left. But go to Luke 21, where he said the same thing, but added another one. Were these spoken at different times? No. They were all spoken at the same time. It is just the way the writers have remembered it and the importance they have put on it. So in Luke 21 when it sounds like it was spoken at a different time, it was not. Keep in mind Luke was not a disciple that had heard this himself. He recorded years later what others had told him that was supposed to have been said. That is how we have to take his writings. Now I am going to read this and I want to say before I do, Everything that is written here was fulfilled precisely in 70 A.D. exactly, precisely. It was the fulfillment of Daniel 9:27 in the prophetic fulfillment in its first advent. “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, (a time of hatred that leads to destruction) spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand. Then let him which be in Judaea flee into the mountains.” He did not say this for the unbeliever at all. He said this for the living generation of disciples that lived then, that had remained alive and hadn’t been martyred yet. “Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house.” He is actually giving His disciples ample opportunity to get prepared and ready. That was all in the natural. If that was important for the disciples of that hour of time, then I have to say, Is He any less concerned about believers in our time? I have to say, He is just as concerned about us as He was them back then. But He is not telling us to flee to the mountains or anything. He is telling us to read and understand. Some might say, Well I don’t like to read, I get tired of the same old thing. I know there are a lot of people like that, I have met them. Some are not interested in prophecy. Well then, you surely are not interested in getting out of here. How many understand what I mean? When Jesus spoke those things to those disciples back then, He meant precisely, if you have an ear to hear, hear this, and get ready. “Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. (I have been asked about this next verse.) And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!” That is not talking about the rapture at all. That is talking about those in that period of time when Jerusalem was destroyed. It has nothing to do with this end time revelation that gives us signs to watch for. If you believe that there is going to be a translation of the saints that are alive, along with those that are dead, then I have to believe, if a sister is pregnant at that time, God will take care of the situation. The rapture of the Bride is one thing, and the saints fleeing from Jerusalem in 70 AD, was something totally different. God is the greatest architect and designer of what is going on, so you and I would be very foolish to say, Well God, what are you going to do about this or that? That is His business. How many realize that? Well Bro. Jackson, what if the rapture happens and there is a little child, when they are changed, will they just remain to be a little child? I have my doubts they will. I believe, when God accomplishes that event for the Bride of Christ, everything will be put in a precise order, specifically, the way He wants it to be. You and I have no reason to ask such questions. Well, but I don’t understand. It is because you want to know His business; and you are not satisfied to know only what He has determined for you to know. As for myself, I don’t want to know His business, but I do want to know what certain things mean here in the scriptures. “But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.” It could be a hundred degrees blow zero, and if you were a saint standing at the North Pole when the translation comes, that cold weather is not going to stop God at all. So all these things here, were natural for those disciples back in the time when Jerusalem was destroyed. Notice what Jesus said in verse 21. “For then (That was fulfilled right back there in 70 A.D. ) shall be great tribulation, (It was a time of great tribulation, but doctors of divinity and historians want to put it at the end time. That is why they want to take what Matthew wrote and put it to the end time. It is not for the end time: it will not fit. Notice.) such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” Well, Bro. Jackson, is that not the way it is going to be, at the end? No. It happened in 70 A.D., and there will be nothing worse than that at the end time tribulation. What did happen in 70 A.D.? God said in Deuteronomy 28:54-58, when you are in the siege, the delicate woman, you can read it. Starvation, famine in the city, they died like flies. Some women even took their own newborn baby and roasted it. Josephus tells about it. Even Bloss’ history tells about it. It tells that in the time that Jerusalem was under this siege by Vespasian, then finished up by Titus, one million Jews were slaughtered. Their bodies and carcasses were thrown over the walls. When the city was finally conquered by Titus, one hundred thousand of the healthy and strong were led captive to Rome, then later sent by the Roman slave traders to the auction block. Alexandria, Antioch, and Constantinople were the Roman slave trades. That is why it says, Then shall be great tribulation, and it was a great tribulation. Jesus said in verse 22. “And except those days should be shortened, (That happened in 70 A.D. It has nothing to do with the future.) there should no flesh be saved: (Well is that not pointing to the end time? Absolutely not! But people have been made to believe that is what it points to. People have been made to believe a lot of things that were totally wrong. I will say it again, This scripture is not pointing to the end time tribulation. I am not trying to be cruel, but if you take every historian and let him interpret it for you, he puts it all over there. He just keeps piling it up to the future. Then when you do get to the book of Revelation, what do you find there? In the book of Revelation, (We will finish it today.) I am going to give you a picture of just how the book of Revelation pictures it. They are not going to be eating little babies. Not at all. In fact, Jerusalem is not going to be surrounded at the end time like Vespasian and Titus surrounded it. Do you know what is going to happen? It plainly tells you in Revelation, the 11th chapter, and then the beast, in the middle of the week, shall enter Jerusalem and he will kill the two prophets and cause their dead bodies to lay in the streets of Jerusalem for three days and a half. When it talks about the rebuilding of the temple and the altar, it says leave the outer court without for it is given unto the Gentiles and the city of Jerusalem shall they tread under foot forty and two months. That is right here, in the last three and a half years of that week. There is nothing about tearing the temple down, tearing the city up, or anything like that. There will be another abomination though, but it has a different picture altogether. And except those days be shortened, this was fulfilled in 70 A.D., there should no flesh be saved.) but for the elect’s sake (That is not pointing to the future.) those days shall be shortened.” That was all fulfilled precisely and exactly in 70 A.D. when the city of Jerusalem fell. I have read both histories. Jerusalem has been uprooted, from the outer wall, the inner wall, everything. The Roman soldiers fought so fiercely against those Jews who also fought fiercely as they had to retreat. Titus told the soldiers, do not harm their holy place. But at that particular time of the day when they had taken everything up to this wall, it plainly tells you a Roman soldier was so mad, and most of the other soldiers were, he took a fire brand and threw it over the wall. It hit right in the temple area. It started flaming. Then when they saw the flames coming up, they could not withhold the Roman soldiers. Over the wall they went. The temple was on fire. All this ornamentation, the gold and silver and all this stuff, just as Jesus had said, began to melt and drip on the stones below. They lit into the temple tearing those stones apart. When the fire had finally subsided, hours and hours later, with their spears they upturned every rock to get that piece of melted silver or gold. It fulfilled exactly what Jesus said, The hour will come when there will not be one stone in thee left upon another, but shall be brought down. That portion of the western wall, which was the outer court wall, Vespasian decided to leave that stand. The portion is still standing there today. The reason I am saying this, up ahead of you and me there is going to be another period of abomination, of desolation. It is not repeated like Epiphanes, and it is not repeated just like it was in 70 A.D. It is going to be just exactly the way God wants it to be. Keep in mind, somewhere in front of us now, that temple is going to be built. They are going to start rebuilding the city of Jerusalem, and for what reason? It is for the coming of their Messiah, to rule and reign in. That is why it has to be built. Keep in mind, it tells us that the antichrist will make a covenant with many. Well like I said earlier, I have heard doctors of divinity say that the antichrist is going to make a covenant with Israel that will allow them to build their temple. There is no place in the Bible that you can read anything like that. That is an assumption on the part of people who have no real revelation.
PROPHETIC INSIGHT
Somewhere in the months ahead of us there is absolutely going to be a condition arise in the world that will bring about a drastic change. I believe with all my heart, God is going to force a condition on those political Jews in Jerusalem to have to fight the whole Arab world. When they do, it is going to be such a miraculous event, the world is going to be startled and shaken. That is why I keep referring to Zechariah 12 and Micah 7. There is going to be a short conflict, but it is going to be a war of a miraculous nature. It will be just as miraculous as it was when Joshua went around the walls of Jericho seven times. It is a shame that our own president, who professes to be a great man of faith, really is not a man of faith. I would like to say to him, You believe in a historical God, one that you can throw your prayers at His feet, but you do not want a God that will speak to you at night and say, Don’t do that! If you insist on doing that, you will have problems. That is the kind of God I want to serve. Our forefathers believed in and listened to the God they served. But with so many in this generation, what they have is just head religion. Some think, Well I am a man of great faith and many believe them, but they really are not men of great faith in a great and mighty God that can change things. Of course our modern world today tries to tell you, But you can’t go against your president, he is a man of great faith. I have to say, Where is the evidence of that? Herod was a great man of faith, but look what that rat did. He knew why that temple had been built: it was to please the Jews politically. When those wise men from the east came and said, Where is He that is born King of the Jews? Herod sure didn’t know, because he wasn’t looking for Him. If something supernatural was to speak to our politicians today, we might see much of a repeat, just like what happened in the days when the wise men came from the east. Because it is a fact that our modern politicians of today do not have a deep spiritual contact with the Creator at all. They profess whatever they feel their followers want to hear, but without spiritual reality. They completely ignore what Jesus said to Nicodemus, Ye must be born again. That new birth will change a person’s thinking.
EXPLAINING THE DIFFERENT STAGES OF BELIEVERS
Brothers and sisters, at this time I want to go back and touch on a certain point, because tonight we are going to deal with the resurrection, after we finish this. Since the advent of the gospel, keep in mind, no epistle has been written by Paul, James, John, Peter, or anyone else, that gives you the answer to ever question some people may have. You do not see any particular verses that stipulate, and this will be this, and that will be that. All epistles were written to produce this which is to be revealed by the Spirit of God at the proper time. John the Baptist came to forerun and point us to a dispensation of time called the kingdom of heaven. Right? So the beginning of this kingdom of heaven was first by Jesus offering His life as a ransom for all lost souls. The price was paid, but not all believed. The preaching of the gospel was started by the apostles as they came from the upper room after Pentecost, and this is the objective picture. But we have to realize, all along the way, and again I want to say this, Only God knows, as He looked down on the earth during those periods of time, He saw people die in many ways, crucified, martyred in various ways. All at the same time some in here were killed. But I have said this, It is how God looks upon the condition of the spirit of that person when life left them, that determines where they are seen later. Had they been allowed to live long enough on earth to develop that quality of fruit that puts one in the bride category? When Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is like unto a sower that went forth to sow seed. Some fell on good ground. The end results, some brought forth thirty, some sixty, and some a hundred. It is the expression of the divine nature of Christ living in us that makes the difference. Therefore you have got to look back through history to the various conditions that prevailed, overshadowing these certain periods, in order to understand some things. For two hundred years, that Roman Empire looked upon this new faith as a cult. They looked upon it as something that was really out against their kingdom. So wherever these new Christians were found, old or young, they were martyred in various ways. Some were burned at the stake, some fed to the animals and so forth. Please keep in mind, you did not see anyone standing there with a scroll announcing, Now this one is in the Bride, and this one is in the white robed multitude. How many know what I am talking about? It is God himself who was looking upon the spirit of that person. He or she, old or young, that had heard something that put them in a relationship for God to deal with them, their circumstanced determined which category they fell into. Naturally God, by His foreknowledge, knew everything from before the foundation of the world, but every person had to have their own experience and their own walk with God. As the life went out of that martyred person, or that person that may have died from other causes, only God Himself knew which category that person was going to fall into. For those who are able to see it, we have a chart showing the different categories of the dead. Some of them would be in the bride, but others that had not lived long enough after believing, to produce any fruit of the Spirit, would be in the great multitude of Revelation 7, verse 9. If you would go to the anti-Nicene fathers, and read some of those episodes, how people were martyred, the Romans used this as entertainment. Not only were devout Orthodox Jews gathered, it seemed as though every time some of the Christians were gathered, Orthodox Jews were also gathered. As they were brought into the arenas and some burned at the stake, they could hear the voices of those saints looking up into the heavens. They would lift their voices and they could see Jesus looking at them and they are singing and rejoicing and giving praise to Him that died on the cross for them. The spectators in the bleachers heard all this celebration, as they would see the flames or the animals devouring them, and they were probably thinking, They must be going through all kinds of suffering, but instead of screaming, they were praising God. Along toward the closing of the event, out of the bleachers, heathen Romans got under such conviction, they come running and screaming from the bleachers, I want to die with them, I want to die with them. I will say again, Who was there with a roster, well now, you can, but you can’t. That pagan Roman citizen is not even going to move unless there is something that gets hold of their heart and their mental attitude, causing them to want to die along with those that are rejoicing. In other words, they want to go to the same place. Then the God that created them, is a God that is merciful enough to allow for that, so I will say, There is a line on our chart for them. How many understand that? They did not have time to get down and pray for the Holy Ghost, but they sealed their life with a conviction and feeling, I want to go with them, I want to be heir with these people. That is what that red line represents on the chart. That is why it has been so misunderstood through the years of time because it was actually in 96 A.D. when John was given the revelation of the writings of Revelation. Keep in mind, when he saw the introduction of chapter 7,do you know where John was? He has been carried through time, right to the approach of this week. John was this angel flying from the east. The angel of time that has watched over the gospel, is going home. We don’t know how close we might be getting when that angel that has watched over America with that gospel time piece, one of these days he is going to make his exit. That does not mean he is going to leave you, but it means his time and preeminence has accomplished here what it was supposed to accomplish. Now he is going home. When he saw that angel, he saw that angel flying. That angel was crying to the four angels that were bound in the Euphrates River. In one place it is called the four corners of the earth. To think, America is embroiled in a conflict over there today, straddling the Euphrates and Tigress rivers, right where it all started years ago. That angel was one, and he cried to those angels, Hold back the winds, see thou hurt not the earth nor the sea, nor any tree, nor any green thing until we have sealed the servants of our God in their forehead. We, who? The angel is speaking of the two prophets down here. I have been asked, Bro. Jackson, do you believe those two prophets are already here? I believe they are already on earth. Because He is not going to use some eighteen year old kid. Not that He cannot: it is just that He will not. When that angel cries, you can rest assured, He is not going to leave America with a lot of unkempt, untidy work yet to be done. How many realize that? When He does cry, I have to say those two prophets are going to be ready to enter the scene. That is why I have to say, It is somewhere around about that time, that the Bride is entering the period of time for her departure. You might say, Bro. Jackson, you have the catching away of the bride over past the time of the week starting. I know I have. I have scripture for that. Well where do you get that Bro. Jackson? What did Paul say when he wrote the 2nd Thessalonian letter? It was his second letter written about a year later, that He said, Now concerning the coming of our Lord and our gathering together unto Him, (which is not talking about the resurrection over here.) There is no gathering together there: He lifts them out of the ground and He is already on earth. How many realize that? He was on earth back here when the Old Testament saints come up. How many realize that? He is going to be over here when these all come up and those Bride saints are going to be with Him. They are coming down with Him: they are not coming up. They are coming down with Him to rule and reign with Him. Therefore when His wrath is all poured out and everything begins to calm down, then the third phase of the first resurrection takes place. Those seen standing on the sea of glass in the 15th chapter, one group is singing the song of Moses and the other the Lamb of God. Do you know what? That is your tribulation saints which will be slain during this tribulation period. I have been asked the question, Bro. Jackson, why are they seen standing on the sea of glass and these others are standing before the throne clothed in white robes? It should be simple. Do you know, when Jesus returns with His Bride saints, He has taken out of the ground everything that is alive at this point and up, they are coming back. But keep in mind, when He accomplishes this resurrection of the last tribulation saints, then He is going to begin a judgement, Matthew 25. I want to ask you a simple question. Don’t you think that when He starts a judgement, it is going to be of those people that are still alive on this earth? How many realize that? There are people right now, young people I would have to say, that are alive and they will still be alive when Jesus has come back again. They will be separated as a shepherd separates sheep from goats. Well Bro. Jackson: What is the everlasting gospel for? Is it just take up time? No. That 144,000 are going to preach the everlasting gospel to the nations. Who will that be to? The Bride is already gone. They are not going to preach it to the dead. They are going to preach it to some of the people in these nations, of which some take heed and some do not. It is God’s way of preparing them mentally to get them ready to believe and trust in God, not for a personal experience like we have, but to give them an opportunity to be accounted subject people, worthy to go into the Millennium to repopulate the earth. The Bible says He is going to subdue the nations and then He is going to rule over them. So where do you think those nations of people come from? They are coming right out of this element of people that are alive right now on earth. How many can see that? When those two prophets come upon the scene, the Bride, I believe, is actually ready to be raptured. I want to say as we bring this service to a close. Every verse of prophetic meaning that is written, that stipulates something for the end time Bride people, will be understood precisely, by the Bride. That is what it was written for. These things were not written just for every Tom, Dick, and Harry to play with. God has a purpose in everything He does
LOOKING AT REALITY
Let us look at the Jews from the Old Testament. We can learn something from them. Even in the days of the first advent of Christ, when Christ came on the scene, the Jews then could boast about the Torah. They had studied it and memorized it and they could quote it verse by verse. I would like to say to some of those Jewish politicians today, They can talk about the Torah, but why can they not look at their prophets? Let’s go to the Torah and read Numbers 24. Did not the Spirit of God speak through Moses and tell the children of Israel, Come here, Balaam, I will show you what this people is going to do to your people in the later days? That is why I have to say, It would be nice if some of the Jewish politicians today could read the Torah. The truth is, they do not even know what time they are living in. That is why this next episode of abomination and desolation will fulfill exactly to the letter, and it will not come out of Matthew 24 nor Luke 21. It is going to come right out of the Old Testament part of the Bible, out of Daniel chapter 11. There is one word that made me realize, I cannot stop until I have explained this word. Go with me to Daniel chapter 12. Here is where we will seek to bring it to an end by the time we finish tonight. Daniel is no longer looking at Jesus as John saw Him with one foot on the land and one foot on the sea. Daniel sees the same person, Christ in angelic form, standing on the river of Jordan. Verse 7, “And I heard the man clothed in linen, (That is the immortal Christ.) which was upon the waters of the river, (the Jordan) when He held up His right hand and His left hand unto heaven, and sware by Him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, (singular) times, (plural) and an half; (half a year) and when he shall have accomplished (here is the word) to scatter the power.” The power. It didn’t say when he has accomplished to scatter the holy people. He has accomplished to scatter the power. Now do you understand why the pope wants to make Jerusalem an internationally controlled city? Do you see why Revelation 11, is written? And he shall tread Jerusalem underfoot for forty and two months. The time is coming, when he executes this prophesied event and puts into effect all that the Bible speaks of, and the Jews are going to lose their rights, their legal, racial, biblical rights, to even own or live there or anything else. That is why, when he has accomplished to scatter the power you see all this. Well you cannot scatter the power, the authority of people, unless you scatter them first. How many realize that? That is why, back here, this 144,00 have already heard where to go when that time comes, and the woman element has heard where to go as well. They are out of there before the antichrist gets control over them. You should begin to see a picture now, because that is when this abomination begins to go into affect again. That antichrist will stop the daily sacrifice, he will desecrate the temple, he will set himself in the temple and he will demand the whole world to worship him as God. Every Jew, except the politicians and political minded, will have to leave. When he has accomplished to scatter the power of them, that literally means the spiritual Jew will have no right to live there at all. I have to say, Praise God! That is why the two prophets have to come on the scene and tell them where to go and when to go, and that is what they will be doing for three and a half years in that week of years. It will all go forth just as the scriptures declare.
EXPLAINING AN EXPERIENCE
I am going to do my best to finish this message tonight, but I want to say this before I start, A lot of people might say, Bro. Jackson, I have heard so many of these things, it is getting kind of old. To them I say, just hold steady and wait upon the Lord. It was a week ago this past Wednesday morning that I had the experience. There was something in this that made it important that every one of the words in this prophecy of Daniel 9:27 had to be dealt with precisely. Therefore if you will go back to Matthew 24, verse 15, with me, we will look at this again. When Jesus spake this, He only spoke of one word out of that structure, When you see the abomination that maketh desolate. He never said a thing about a week. He never said a thing about a covenant, nor when it was broke, or anything. Did He? The hour is coming, but I want you to know I did not do this purposely: I did not even study to indulge in this. I will say though, This experience, whatever it was, I saw myself, and I cannot even describe the surroundings, but I heard someone say to me, Will you please explain to me what is written in Matthew 24, verses 15 through 22, and Luke, the 21st chapter. In this, I heard myself begin to explain, but I am hearing myself saying things that I was not saying in my natural mind. Whoever this person or being was, it seemed like I would get the thought to a certain point, and that person would say, Marvelous. That is not the way a person would normally respond. I would just keep on talking, then I would hear, That is tremendous. All the time I am talking, I am thinking in my natural mind, Where did I get all this? It was like my mind was programmed. I would just keep on explaining. It involved every one of these little words, how they were properly used. Every so often that voice would say, Tremendous. A person does not normally respond to you like that. When I came out of this experience, whatever kind of experience you want to call it, I could see that covenant promise, and I have it broken down here. First off, it starts off with a covenant. Jesus never even referred to a covenant. Did He? Even in Daniel 12 when the one is standing on the river, He never mentioned anything about a covenant. Then it speaks what that covenant consists of, a week. Jesus never referred to that in Matthew 24, neither in Luke. But it went all through there, in the midst of the week the sacrifice will cease for the abominations that bringeth desolation, until the consummation, meaning the completeness, and that which is determined, that is the counsel of God. Brothers and sisters, when I went home Sunday night, then I remembered reading Daniel chapter 12. Let us turn to that and read it. When Daniel has asked the one angel, When shall be the end of all this, think of it, Daniel lived in 500 and something B.C. At that time, he was very interested, and wanted to know, What does all this mean? He was so consistent with it, because it was really on his mind. Notice, “And I heard the man clothed in linen, (That is the same one you see in Revelation 10, verses 1-4. There He was in that scripture, standing with one foot on the land, one foot on the sea, which is a universal picture. That goes to show, there in Revelation 10, that He is manifested to the Bride. That is when the thunders will come into the picture. Let me emphasize this, Once those thunders are sounded to the Gentile Bride, He then goes to Israel to pick up this covenant and to fulfill it in its entire scope.) which was upon the waters of the river, when He held up His right hand and His left hand unto heaven, (He did basically the same thing in Revelation 10, as we see in Daniel 12:7, because that is when He lifted up the one hand, (Why one hand this time?) because in the other hand He had an open scroll. There, He said, Let time be no longer. He never announced a specific time like He did in Daniel 12.) and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter.” Here is the word that kept taunting me all week, scatter. Then the word power. All week long that was on my mind. It is easy to see why the devil would try to scatter the Jewish people, but what does the word power have to do with it? When he has accomplished, completed, fulfilled, to scatter, disperse, drive them out of there, the power, I say, it all lays in that word power. Look at the Middle East tonight. What is all the squabble between the Palestinians and the Jews? It is all over the fact, who has the right to that land. The Palestinians say, It is ours, but we know, as the Jews have been brought back, they know from a biblical and prophetic standpoint, the land is theirs. It is all going to boil down to the fact, one of these days God will see to it that this whole issue will come down to the very fact, This land belongs to my people Israel. Now Daniel heard these words. “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? (Now he is answered back.) And He said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.” Just think of it, five hundred and some years before the advent of Christ, Daniel had this experience. He wanted to know what it all added up to be. He wrote the words as he heard them, but he was told, Shut it up, which meant he would never understand what it all adds up to. For the words are closed up and sealed. In other words, there will be no revelation, no understanding come out of it until the time of the end. Now Saints, don’t let the devil play tricks with your mind, like, Now are you sure you are living in the last days? If I never stand here again, I have to say to you, We are living in the last days and we are living in the last of the last days Time for gentiles is short. Everything that is written is going to come alive and we are going to know exactly what it means and what it does not mean before the end comes. We are also going to know exactly how it has been misused, misinterpreted, given false meaning and confused many people. But from that time back there, down through the ages, “Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; (I like this.) but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; (So the world just keeps on getting worse and worse. Atheists with no God, nothing and multitudes that care only for self.) but the wise shall understand.” Years ago when I would read that, I used to think, Who are these wise? But I am looking at you all tonight, and there is not a one of you worth a million dollars, but sitting here in front of me tonight, are some of the wisest people that has ever walked on the face of this earth. It is not how much education we have that matters; It is the grace of God that has been invested in us and what it has produced. Just as we have seen this morning, if Jesus had a definite reason for telling His disciples, When you see certain things developing, get out of here, He loved them and He loves us, so we are instructed also. I was told by Jewish guides the first time we were there, that none of those early disciples that had followed Jesus were ever in that siege. They had all escaped and gone across the river into the regions of Jordan, Saudi Arabia and those areas. We have a lot of people in the religious world that are so confused tonight, just as how to interpret certain scriptures. That is why some of them will say, Well the Bible does not teach a rapture. Some will say, Well I believe there is an overall resurrection, but I don’t know about this rapture. Brothers and sisters, as I said earlier, the apostle Paul was the only one that ever talked about the translation of the saints. This was not a translation of the saints as we were talking about the Bride. How many realize that? Jesus was still here on earth, He was seen among the disciples and those that were following Him, about forty days. Periodically, He came and went. If that is the case, then I have to say, those Old Testament saints that came up when He arose, made their appearance in the city and appeared to some. I do not believe they had to appear all on the same day. They did not go to heaven immediately. They did not go until Jesus went up. That is the way we have to look at it. Remember though, periodically He was seen among His disciples, about five hundred brethren, through that forty days period. Luke records that. Therefore we can say this, Those Old Testament saints that have already been resurrected, they were on earth, waiting for the day when Jesus ascended, because they would be taken to heaven with Him. Since the gospel was all written to produce a Bride for Christ, that is why I said this morning, There is no verse of scripture that shows you what is going to be Bride, and what is going to be white robed saints. You only find that in the book of Revelation, which speaks of the finished picture. We just have to realize, God Himself, using conditions, events and circumstances, has seen to it that the gospel preaching down through the ages has produced two categories of saints. How many realize that? The apostle Paul never talked about this, but John, called the revelator, way over here after Paul was dead, he saw all of this, so he was the only apostle that actually saw the finished work of all their labors in the gospel. John never saw when the rapture took place, but there is one thing sure, he sure saw in the 19th chapter of Revelation, the raptured bride returning to earth with Jesus. The reason I am emphasizing this tonight, the Lord here, is identifying Himself as the arch angel dressed in linen, but the wise shall understand. Let us stop trying to look at our colleges and doctors of divinity for the answers. As I have said many times, I have nothing against a good education. I have always said, If you are going to be an airplane pilot, please get an education and learn how to operate that thing. What I resent so much is this, if I wanted to go to an employment office and say, I would like to have a job driving a backhoe, they would ask, Do you have a college education? What do you mean, a college education? All you need to know is how to use those hydraulic handles. Like I said last Sunday, politicians and educators have done this to America, and do you know why? So they can take your baby from the time it is born until it is almost ready to die, educate and brainwash it for their use at any time they choose. One thing is sure, if they want to send you to the front lines in battle, you don’t have to have a college education to shoot a rifle. That is America today, because our education system has gone to the dogs. Millions are spent to get an education and an awful lot of what they learn is straight from the pit of hell. We are standing at the threshold when this end time scripture will be fulfilled.
SEPARATING CERTAIN EVENTS
We know this for sure, that not too far in front of us, that man of sin will come on the scene and he will be none other than the pope of Rome. Probably not the old man that is in that office now, but when God does allow that man to breathe his last breath and the next one comes on the scene, you can be sure the Vatican’s great idea, is for Jerusalem to become an internationally controlled city. They mean to control and dominate every bit of it. but it is not the antichrist that makes a covenant with Israel to allow them to build their temple. That is all brought about prior to him coming upon the scene. That sets the stage and puts the wheels in motion for the wrap up. Go with me to Daniel 9. Let us read this again and notice how it is worded. In the 27th verse, it speaks of this prophecy. Keep in mind, the type of abomination that we used this morning, which was fulfilled under Antiochus Epiphanes, that was not a prophecy in that structure. That was an event prior to this and it was a type, because it did consist of, taking away the sacrifice, and he polluted the temple. He took all the valuable things out, and sacrificed a sow on the altar. That was an abomination, and it brought about a lot of desolation, but it was not fulfilling this particular prophecy. It was a type of what would come later. Daniel 9 is the prophecy around which all this hinges. “And he (meaning the antichrist) shall confirm the covenant (a precise agreement) with many (that don’t mean many individuals, it means countries or governments) for one week: and in the midst of the week (specifically) he (the antichrist) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations (And when Jesus in Matthew 24 referred to this, He only used that word in the singular. That is what threw people off. Is it not strange though, if Jesus went in there and took the one word and used that and it pointed to 70 A.D., when we get right over here to this period of time (pointing to chart in the middle of the week) reading in Daniel 12, in those last verses which say, And he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, He spoke of it in the singular there? Why did He say that? Because it goes to show it has already been fulfilled once. My point is, Daniel gave the prophecy, Jesus said one word and set the thing in motion. Now we come to the end of it and here we see in Daniel 12, the word abomination, is only spoken of in the singular, not the plural. It goes to show, if God is so precise and accurate that from one event to the next, it will boil right down to how that word is used, is it in the singular or is it in the plural? The prophecy was given in the plural, but when Jesus took it, He took one singular application of it. That was fulfilled in 70 A.D. leaving the last fulfillment for the end time. That is why in Daniel 12 it only spoke of the abomination in the singular, not the plural. Let me finish reading this. For the overspreading of abominations….) he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, (or the completeness) and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” That is why when we get into Luke’s writing, when he took what Jesus said in Matthew 24 and applied it in his writings, he said these be the days of vengeance that all things that are written may be fulfilled. He is pointing right back to Deuteronomy. That is why I said this morning, only one time did that word apply to Deuteronomy 28:45-48. No other time is that condition to be duplicated. They absolutely did eat their young in 70 A.D. but there is no where pictured that it will be repeated over here. Because the abomination that maketh desolate has more or less an opposite affect at the end. This time it is not only that he makes a covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of that week, he will cause that covenant to be broken, the sacrifice to cease, for the introduction again of this terrible time of hate. But in that, these Jews are not going to be there. They will not be there because the two prophets have told believers where to go to and when to go. It is important that we understand this. I will say this, It is not the political Jews that are going to benefit by the ministry of the two prophets. They are the characters that are going to sell this thing out to the antichrist. One of these days God is going to appoint a spiritual leader in Israel that He can talk to. Did you know the government of Israel in this day and hour could not care less about the things that excite us. The leadership right now are not spiritual minded people: They do not want a spiritual leader. They are having conflict with the orthodox Jews as it is. We would like to think that one of these days the orthodox Jews will rise up and vote the old politicians out. That is not the picture. It has always been the political Jews that have made the agreements with practically every world leader that came along. God just brought certain conditions around that compelled the leaders to comply or go along with it at times. Let me say this, Right here is the beginning of the week (on chart.) Let us just say for the sake of the way we would look at it, spiritual leaders will be offered this covenant from the antichrist. So the spiritual leaders sign it. Well what happens between here and there? The antichrist breaks it. It is still the political Jew that is in power. The reason I say that, back in the Six Day War when the Jews were successfully able to take all that occupied territory, there were many of the Jews right then, at that hour of time, ready to start building their temple. I read the article about it. Nevertheless when the U.N. began to negotiate, the same leaders that lead the Israeli army into this victorious state, were the very ones that negotiated and consented to the terms laid before them. They said, We will back off. They have backed off ever since then. Recently I saw on Fox News, a certain company of Jewish soldiers, a commando trained, special unit, had sent word to their commander, we will refuse from now on to take part in any operation in the Gaza Strip or the west bank. What does that tell you? All this political instability of establishing lines of peace, has created such an upheaval that is the result. One minute the soldiers are sent here, another minute they are sent there. It is instability. They do not know from one minute to the next who to shoot at and who not to shoot at. If you keep that up month after month, that gets a soldier confused, as to who is leading this thing. That is why, in front of us somewhere, God has to drop His hand into the affairs that will bring about a change, a change in the political leadership of Israel that will make them begin to look at the situation from a different standpoint. I want us to go back over here to Daniel, chapter 12 again, and notice how the one clothed in fine linen, on the river, is giving the answers. He has told Daniel everything is shut up until the time of the end. “Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” I just want to say, We must be the wise that God is dealing with. Verse 11, “And from the time that the daily sacrifice (Here, is the breaking of the covenant, so he now goes back to Daniel 9:27) shall be taken away, and the abomination (which is the period of hate) that maketh desolate set up, (There is a reason for this one clothed in fine linen to be speaking as he is: he is the arch angel) there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” That is thirty days longer than a thousand two hundred and threescore days allowed to the antichrist. Isn’t it? But then he follows on in verse 12 and says, “Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.” Who is he talking about? He is talking about people down here on earth. He is not talking about the righteous that are up there in heaven with him. He is talking about these that are down here on earth, those that are found righteous among them. That is why I said this morning, When that everlasting gospel is preached by this 144,000, that leaves this period and goes to preach to all the nations, then the woman element of Jews will leave this area here. She knows exactly where to go to hide from the forces of that beast. That is when the end of this covenant and everything begins to transpire, wind up and climax. We have got to realize, there are people alive tonight, young people, little children, if God keeps them alive, which He knows exactly who He has predestined, so He will keep them alive. When this 144,000 servants of God goes out to preach the everlasting gospel, it is not to tell anyone how to be a Christian, and it is not how to join the church or anything like that. They will be telling them how to get ready to escape the terrible days of God’s wrath when Jesus comes to set up His own government. It is God’s way of giving them an opportunity to be a part of His earthly subjects that He is coming to rule and reign over. Let me say this also, When that thousand, two hundred and threescore days that we see, which represents the last half of that week, which is forty two months expires, that is as far as the reign of the antichrist goes. That does not change that point at all, but in those words, there are thirty days added. Why did the angel say that? Because the one that is dressed in linen knows exactly, He is the one that is going to execute the wrath of God on earth. How many times have I been asked, What about these seventy five extra days. That does not add on to the week anything whatsoever. These seventy five extra days cover the period of God’s wrath and all the other things we have talked about. Keep in mind Revelation the 6th chapter and the 6th seal, is being fulfilled. Jesus said in Matthew 24:29, Immediately after the tribulation of those days and that is not referred to as the great tribulation, it is a tribulation, but it is a tribulation of a different nature. Sure there is going to be foolish virgins killed, but they are not there in Israel. They are scattered throughout the beastly old European system. How many realize that? So these seventy five extra days has got to be when He does come at the end of this one thousand two hundred and threescore days. That ends that tribulation, and immediately, not one week later nor six weeks later, shall the judgment take place. Immediately, shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall withdraw its light, and the powers of heaven shall be shaken. You read it and see what it says. What it says is what it means. That is the sixth seal in fulfillment. That is the sign of Jesus’ visible return to earth from heaven with all His saints. I pray that we are all there with Him. That is why I have said, When that sixth seal is executed and fulfilled in the heavenly atmosphere, that is going to draw attention from the earthly subjects to what is taking place in the spiritual realm. That is the sign of His coming. That does not mean zip, zoom, and there He is on earth. Do not look at this like that. When the heavens are opened and the sign of His coming is observed, and all His saints with Him, riding white horses, I just want to say, That glorious sign is going to hang there in that spirit world for all to see, and listen to me, It will not be ten million light years away. It is just right out there. This planet earth is going to start going into upheaval. When you line that up with Isaiah 13, and Isaiah 24, just read it and see what happens. In that day of God’s wrath, it says, I will shake the heavens and the earth beneath, and I will cut off the sinner. That is what He is getting ready to do. When He is revealed from heaven riding that white horse, with His army following on white horses, here is the beast, the false prophet and all that conglomeration, ready to make war with Him. Out of His mouth goes a sharp two edged sword. He is not a sword eater, but it is the word of authority that is referred to as a two edged sword. With it He shall slay the wicked. Elements of nature are going to begin to be expressed. Why? Because it is His wrath. He is angry. As I explain this, I grant you there are a lot of little things that could be brought in, but I hope you will try to understand my illustrations. The days of His wrath are not going to last for six long years, nor six weeks. How many understand? But let’s say this, If there was a reason for this woman of Revelation 12, which is a representation of the total citizenry of Israeli people, men, women, boys and girls, and all, to flee from there. I ask you, Why are they told to flee from there to somewhere else? It is because they represent a physical genetic element of the Jewish society that He is coming back to rule and reign over, and He is going to use them to repopulate the Jewish nation. How many see that? All those dirty politicians that stay in the land and sign everything with the antichrist system, are not going to be left to sign anything else after God cleans house. That woman element is going to flee to somewhere, that God has prepared for her to be cared for. I have a reason for talking like this. What is she going to flee from? The dirty antichrist and his beastly system which is Europe and the old Middle East countries. That is why I have said for a long time, wherever that woman has a spot already designated by God, read it in chapter 12 of Revelation, it is already planned and prepared by God. That lets me know, somewhere there is a geographical spot on this earth that this element of the Jewish society is going to flee to, while at the same time the 144,000 servants of God will go into all nations and preach the everlasting gospel for all to hear. Keep in mind though, that this display of God’s wrath does not come about until after time passes this point right here, (At the end of that week). Immediately after the tribulation, the ending of all those days, shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall withdraw its light and the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Then shall appear the sign of the coming of the Son of Man in power and glory. Out of His mouth will go a sharp two edged sword. As the beast and his armies are gathered, and the kings of the earth, this planet is going to start shaking. Yes, it is, but I have to believe this much, if there was not a spot on this planet somewhere prepared by God for that woman to be kept safe, there would be no need for any of them to flee to anywhere. How many realize that? Therefore we have to realize, this seventy five days does include and cover that total period of God’s wrath, which we see described in Isaiah 13, and then in Isaiah 24. It is how God is going to destroy every ungodly hypocrite and atheist that is now walking on the face of this earth. it also means that God, knowing exactly, every human being that He sees fit to preserve and save, is able to do so. There are young people out there today, that probably does not even know what is getting ready to take place in their lives. When you read Isaiah 13 and Isaiah 24, you will see exactly what is going to happen. This planet will reel to and fro as a drunk man. Do not tell me, when this old planet starts going through this upheaval, when mountains shall flee to the sea, when islands will flee away, when the rich and mighty will flee to the mountains and cry for the rocks to, “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,” that God will not be able to preserve whatever and whoever He has purposed to save. That day of God’s wrath will be terrible. But at the same time the all seeing eye of God and His hand of mercy is able to reach down here in this element of society and see that certain individuals are at the right place at the right time, to escape death and destruction. How many realize that? Some people might get up on a certain morning to do something, then elements of nature begin to kick in gear. Before the day is over, they may not realize what has happened, but I have to believe , that for that period of time, especially that first thirty days, it is going to be terrible how this planet will shake and reel and rock. There will be terrible fires and all such as man has not seen before. When you read it, you get a description of how God’s anger is going to be executed against the ungodly society. but I have to believe if God is going to have an element of the mortal that are alive right now, to be carried over into that era, He knows how to send His angels down here and walk among mankind and keep people from being destroyed. How many realize that? That is why I have to believe, because angels are ministering spirits, that they are constantly ministering to those who are to fulfill a purpose of God. In times of national disaster, there are angelic beings somewhere behind the scene at work to fulfill God’s will. I have to say, that all the time that these seventy five days are running their course, it covers the wrath, the shaking of all things, desolation, destruction, upheaval, earthquakes, cities falling, but toward the end of this, things begin to level off. Things begin to get quiet. God’s wrath has been executed. Daniel was told, “But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.” Notice though, in the 12th verse he said, “Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.” I would have to say, blessed is the mortal subject that is alive at that time. That is what he is talking about. When it is all over and they see themselves still alive, I would have to say he would never be an atheist any more. My understanding is, that is what these scriptures are dealing with. That is why God has lifted His Spirit the last number of years on our mortal society, because all these things have to fall in place and be fulfilled. I hope this seventy five days does not confuse any of you. It does not add that much more on to the tribulation period. Not at all, because this seventy five days are days of God dealing with mortals and the re-sanctifying of the temple to get everything in place before the Millennium starts. It is at the ending of the tribulation period, that is the beginning of God’s wrath. God’s wrath don’t fall in the tribulation period. Remember that. There can be a lot of terrible devastating things take place, but that is not the wrath of God, because when the wrath of God comes, it affects the planet. How many realize that? It affects the whole planet, but it is still not the end of the human race, and the results will not be the same everywhere. Some people might think it is, but it is not. No matter if islands flee away, mountains go into the sea, and the earth will open up and swallow entire towns and villages, and river beds will change their course. God knows exactly what He is doing. Through all of that, He is going to keep an element of mortal flesh that is alive right now, to repopulate the earth in the Millennium. Now some may say this, Does that mean that everything where the woman is being fed and protected is going to be wonderful? Please don’t picture the woman, which is the believing Israeli people like that. Don’t even allow yourselves to think, that while all this other is going on, they are sitting somewhere eating ice cream in the lap of luxury. Don’t think like that. I will say this, Wherever they are led to go, to escape the beast and His terrible onslaught of martyrdom, in that particular geographical spot, this terrible wrath of God is not going to be expressed. How many are listening to me? It is not going to be expressed to the full extremity as in these other places. Because God knows exactly how to shake certain places and in other places, nothing is disturbed, because He has a purpose there. That is what we have to realize. If there were not a reason for that woman element of Jews to be preserved and God was going to cause the earth to shake, yes I have to say the planet is going to be affected, but in that, it is not going to affect the geographical spot where that woman is. There would be no reason to take her somewhere and then everything is shaken all to pieces where she is. How many realize that? Now I want to bring this to a close. In front of us the hour will come when the antichrist will make this covenant. He will definitely make it with the kings of the earth and it will include a week of years time wise. The Bible stipulates that the covenant will be for one week, (seven years) but the covenant agreement will not stipulate the seven years. Well within that week of time the two prophets have done come and delivered their prophetic message. Those prophets are going to execute, or exercise the power of God by bringing plagues, judgments and various conditions upon the land that would not be taking place otherwise. It is going to cause that pope to sit over there in Rome and burn with envy, and it will not be the baby kissing pope we see over there right now.
A GOOD LOOK AT THE COMING ANTICHRIST
The pope that fulfills the scriptures for these last days will be a different kind of pope. He will be revealed to be a Satanist. Why do I say that? Because, when you go to Daniel, chapter 11, you see him there. Right there, is where the apostle Paul got his revelation he expressed in 2nd Thessalonians. When Paul heard from the Thessalonian Church, that the believers were already beginning to say, The translation can come tomorrow, Paul wrote to them and said, We would have you to know brethren, concerning the coming of the Lord and our gathering together unto Him. Notice how he said, our gathering together unto Him. You and I know when that event has happened, Jesus is not down here on earth. How many realize that? Paul’s revelation says this, there will be a shout and the voice of the arch angel, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Where are we to meet Him? In the clouds of heaven. Is that not right? But over here there is no such thing as these that are resurrected meeting him in the clouds of heaven. He is on earth when the last phase of the first resurrection takes place. How many realize that? Therefore I would to God that all these religious people that want to say the Bible doesn’t teach the translation, could realize that it does. Paul is the one that had it right, in 1st Thessalonians chapter 4, where he spoke specifically the order. Did he not? Then in 2nd Thessalonians he told us how to look for that day. That day, that catching away shall not come except there be a falling away first. The real falling away is not talking about the apostasy we have seen already in place for many years now. It says there will come an open rebellion, anti philosophy against God altogether. That is why Jesus said in St. John’s gospel, When the Son of Man cometh will He find faith on the earth? You know tonight, America is fast giving over to this modern concept spirit, that there is no God. Therefore we have to say, when you see this spirit in our modern society, you know that anti God spirit is right here, all around us. That is to precede the coming of the Lord. Then Paul went ahead and talked about that man of sin to be revealed, which is the son of perdition, that exalteth himself above all that is called God, so that he sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Where did Paul get that? He got it from the 11th chapter of Daniel, verse 36. “And the king (He is referred to here as the king.) shall do according to his will, and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, (every religion) and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, (So this antichrist that is to come, is not going to be a baby kissing, cuddly pope.) nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate (position, or office) shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.” There is where Paul got his revelation in 2nd Thessalonians. In Verse 45 it says, “And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain.” That is when he sets himself up in the temple of God in Jerusalem and fulfills exactly what Paul said in Thessalonians, that he will set himself up in the temple of God showing the world that he is God. Why will he do this? All because for three and one half years, or a thousand two hundred and threescore days, when he sees those two prophets doing what they do in Israel, smiting the earth with plagues and curses, judgments of every description, and he sees them demonstrate the power of God, do you think this pope is going to sit there and not see something? When those two prophets demonstrate the real power of God, it is going to show that old fellow up for what he is. That is why you have to realize, we are living in a world of materialism, and socialism. But when that man sees that power of God really demonstrated, it is going to make him realize he has no power. That is when Satan takes him over. The more he sees, the more jealous he gets, so just try to imaging how he would feel every evening when the News comes on and he sees what those two prophets are doing. That old fellow is going to look at the TV and see what those two prophets did each day. By the time three and one half years of that goes on, he is as angry as angry can be. He is full of jealousy, he is full of anger. He cannot do anything until God allows him to, so he just sits there and stews. That is why I have to say, When the end of that thousand two hundred and threescore days has ended for the prophets, what does it say in the book of Revelation, the 11th chapter? Then the beast that shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, that is the spirit of course, that will be motivating the then present pope. He will enter Jerusalem with his great army. Then the first thing he will do, he will take those two prophets and slay them and leave their dead bodies lay in the streets of Jerusalem, not to be buried. When John was told to write these things, he knew exactly what he was saying when he wrote. When their dead bodies lay in the streets of Jerusalem for three days a half and the whole world was able to see them, this could not have happened a hundred years ago, because there was no TV to make it possible. Isn’t God’s word perfect? This is the day of the TV. If we did not have the TV, that old pope would not be able to see what those two Jewish fellows were doing over there. Well anyhow, you can see how all of this would be affecting him, because he is the one that is supposed to be the Vicar of Jesus Christ. If anyone had power to do what those prophets were doing, it ought to be him, but he knew he had no such power, so as he would sit over there in Rome, thinking about how he had confirmed a covenant of peace, which was supposed to keep Israel from ever having to face anything like the Ezekiel 38 conflict ever again, jealousy built up in him to the point he could no longer tolerate what was happening. That is when the old devil will rise up in his heart and he will cross that Mediterranean with an amphibious fleet of European troops. He will enter Jerusalem. That is when he says, I am going to show them who God really is. The fact that he is allowed to kill those prophets, that only feeds his ego. Then he is not demonstrating the power of God, he is demonstrating the power of Satan. For three and one half years, he will dictate the terms of carnality. For three and one half years the world will reel and rock, the social structure of Europe will go into agony. The woman has already fled from there, and so has the 144,000 servants of God. They are back in the nations of the world, preaching the everlasting gospel, but that political bunch of Jews has been pacified and went right along with what the beast man is doing. What does that amount to? That leaves that man of sin free to take complete control of Jerusalem and drive every Jew out of there, he has the right to scatter the power of the holy people. What does that word power mean? It means the right to hold on to that land, like, That is my heritage, that is my home. He will destroy their government. He will take away everything that up to that hour, they have been identified by. It looks like to the natural man, that everything God has done before that was all in vain. We know what is going to happen, so we just have to realize, that for that last three and one half years that antichrist will be allowed to desecrate the temple, because he puts himself in it, in that man of sin. Then when his troops march through Jerusalem, there will not be one spiritual Jew living in Jerusalem. There will not be any of them living in the countryside. The only kind of Jews you will have there, are those that have compromised and sold out to the devil. How many realize that? This man of sin has completely taken over. It is his way of thinking, I am going to show the world who God is. Well, he thinks it is his kingdom from then on. That is why God will only allow it to last just that long. I am glad God’s word is true. So the old pope goes to bed one evening, everything is still just like it was yesterday. But when he gets up the next morning, if he is allowed to get up, things will be altogether different. The Bible plainly tells us The Lord Jesus will destroy that man of sin with the brightness of His coming. Here He is revealed from heaven. That heavenly scene is going to hang there, not a million light years away, but just above the earth. No wonder the mortal realm of mankind will flee to the rocks. What a day of magnificence. How people will express themselves. I hope I have said enough in this message to help all understand, those extra days have got to cover the period of God’s wrath. But when those days of God’s wrath are over, when they are ended, the planet begins to settle down, the atmosphere begins to clear up. The sun is rising, shining its beacon light upon nature. Now Christ can settle on earth. As He does, He is now to become King of kings and Lord of lords. There is going to be a resurrection right there. The first ones that come up are those that were seen on the sea of glass in heaven. Keep in mind, those on that sea of glass you see in the 15th chapter of Revelation, they were two groups of people. One group sang the song of Moses, and the other group sang of the Lamb. They are those people that had died through this terrible period of persecution here, foolish virgins, and Jewish orthodox saints. They are going to come up first. Why them first? Simply because, as Jesus begins to bring the different mortal nations before Him to chose out of them His subjects for the Millennium, He is going to judge them by what they have been allowed to see and how God has visited them through the things they have heard and how they in return have treated these Jewish saints, and also the foolish virgins, that lived in their same hour, but met death by whatever means. He is not going to resurrect someone back here to be a witness to give testimony against them. Every generation will bear witness corresponding to the generation he or she lived in. I hope you understand that. That is why they stood out, not that their calling is any better, but they have to be the first ones resurrected, because God is going to judge this mortal element of society by their testimony. Then I have to say, up comes all these others that we have seen in that great multitude there in the 9th verse of chapter 7. They have been there all along down through time. This ends the resurrection of saints, the white robed saints being last. It is not a translation. It is a resurrection with Christ on earth. That is how we look at it. So I pray that we can begin to see a picture of things that are ahead. The apostle Paul saw the rapture of the church. John saw where it made itself ready. But John also saw all these others, the great multitude. That great multitude that was seen, they have been put there because it is how God dealt with them through the eras of time, in the generations that they correspond to. It was said, These are they that came out of great tribulation. Bible students are taught that this is referring to the great tribulation of the last half of the seventieth week of Daniel, but as all of you know by now, that is not the only great tribulation saints have had to go through. How many actually realize that now? It is a tribulation, but it is a tribulation of a complete different nature altogether. Therefore I hope we everyone understand by now, how all of this will end up. May God bless all His people everywhere. Amen.
