SERMON 3

This is a message I preach basically to try to address the Jewish people. Our Contender paper is going into Israel now. I want to say to the Jewish people that might have the opportunity to hear this, You might question a Gentile’s mind of having the ability to know anything about the prophetic picture in the Bible. So I am not preaching this to try to persuade anyone that I know anything. However if I can convince them that God, by His grace, back in 1993, showed me in a dream one night, that there would be certain prophetic scriptures that would come in line, perhaps they will pay attention. When those scriptures begin to really line up, I can see a perfect picture related to the time we are living in and how we can look for the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am fully aware that not every Jew has accepted Jesus Christ as their Messiah. So I am not preaching this to try to bring conversion. I am basically interested in being able to show them something that a Gentile has been privileged to see. There are a lot of doctors of divinity in the Gentile world that are putting together various pictures of this, but scripturally they miss the mark. I was privileged to have videos sent to me from them, so I know what they are teaching. I appreciate the things that some have sent, but I have to believe that somehow God in His love and mercy let me see something that overrides all that the doctors of divinity with their ideas. I am not an educated person, so I am very grateful to God because I know that He can take a human mind that may not be given to a lot of intellectual learning, and can deal with him in a way that he can see things that many times will confuse the ordinary religious mind. Last Sunday we preached two messages, morning and evening, in relationship to these scriptures. I want to say at this time, I will quote the dream at the end of the message, along with another dream that the Lord gave me back at the beginning of the year, which lets me know we are moving much faster in time, toward the end. Now in comparison to last Sunday’s chart, I want to remind the ones that would see this, that we have taken off the previous things we had, and added this, which from 33 A.D. to somewhere over here when the seventieth week of Daniel is in focus, so this represents the seventieth week, which is seven years, three and one half in each part. This is the seventieth week of Daniel enlarged. Now when we realize Hosea 6:2-3 gives us a yardstick, we have to ask ourselves the question, why did God put a prophetic scripture in the Bible that you can see is a yardstick? In Hosea 6:2, which was written almost eight hundred years before Christ, even before the destruction of Jerusalem the first time, by the Babylonians that came and took captives and tore down Jerusalem and the temple, taking the two southern tribes off into captivity. Even before the ten tribes were carried off, Obadiah gave a prophecy of what would happen to the children of Israel, the Jewish people, in the time the Babylonians would come. That prophecy has two aspects to it. Through Obadiah, God warns Edom how they should not have looked upon God’s children and did them the way they did. The later part of the prophecy tells us what God is going to do to the Edomites here in the end time. I want to say to the young people today that are still going to school, you will not find these things related in our secular histories of today. I have old history books that was used back at the turn of the century when a lot of biblical history was studied in our schools. You can understand today why they do not. They do not want you to see anything that is related to the Bible, because they really don’t believe that the Bible is a true book. I have to believe the Bible is more true than all the history books man has put together, because it is known that man will try to change a little history, a little here, a little there, from what the original writers would have had in mind. So with that is mind, we are dealing with this subject to try to show that we are approaching a short span of time in which God is going to show this world just how great He is. In one sense of the word, He is going to do it basically to show to the Israelite people that have been brought home, that He is still their God, He is fulfilling everything He promised them, and that He is getting ready to show other things in the way that He will bring the children of Israel back and they will reclaim all the land. From the United Nations agenda, which we have here, it is a fact the United Nations, if they are left to have their way, there will be no such thing as Israel ever being able to reclaim all their borderland. But the Bible promises God will establish Israel back according to her former estates, meaning her geographical boundaries. If we were to say this day that the U.N. is going to have its way, God has allowed it to have its way up until now. Keep in mind, God has a plan in His word and no earthly man, no matter how big a politician he may be, or a political leader he may be, when it comes time for God to watch over His word to fulfill it, He will let something go amiss in the plans of the rulers. Then there will be political upheaval start. Once political upheaval starts, it seems as though politicians and world leaders will begin to disagree, because God puts in their hearts to carry on like this. If He can cause, in the 17th chapter, the leaders of western Europe, which form the ten horns of the beast system of Rome here in the last days, God says He will put in their heart to fulfill His word. That is a fact. So there is no such thing as the United Nations outweighing the plan of God. I have said this for a good while now, They may think the U.N. is the world’s beast, but it is not. It is a decoy to lead people astray, especially world leaders and a lot of preachers who are not reading the word right. I have read in the last two or three years, that out of the Catholic church comes prophecies where they have dug into their old archives, soothsayers and things like that, Nostradamus for one. Some of those men, what they said in their hour, is true. Some of those things came to pass. But let me say this, It does not matter if you had a hundred men of that type and they have a hundred prophecies yet to be fulfilled, when it comes time for this Book to be fulfilled, all of that stuff will go amiss. It goes to show, we have preachers today trying to put together a prophetic picture altogether on what Nostradamus and those type men said, rather than what the Bible says. I have to say, God forbid that we should have such a negative attitude about what God’s word says. It is my desire, it is my prayer to be able to show, by what we are saying, that there is a picture that is being formed right now before us. Israel, in the political leadership of the nation, they know that the Arab world, all the way from Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, all the Arab world is eventually going to get tired of waiting for Israel to give up all this occupied land that they took in the Six Day War and give it back, to a certain boundary line. That is what U.N. says and the Arab is going to hold Israel to that, so they think. That will act as a decoy until God has the stage set. I have to say this, Not even the Gentile religious world will see it. They will only see certain fragments of it. I have to say the people that make up the Bride of Christ, are going to see this thing come together. I want to show you, since we have changed the chart, this line here actually starts in 33 A.D. That is approximately when Christ was crucified. We have already figured that out. Since maybe some Jews will be watching this, I personally figured out by this decree in 445 B.C. in the month of March, that is seventy three days short of a full calendar year, Roman calendar time. That is when the decree went into effect, that the Jews were to go back, rebuild Jerusalem and get it ready for the coming of the Messiah. Now from the decree that was given, to the time of the birth of Christ, you have 442 years and 203 days of time. When we see this line, this is the calendar time, it comes right on through. This brown line is the death of King Herod. Histories in ancient times were written according to the death of the kings of the nation. You had no universal historians in the B.C. period. You only had men like Herodotus and those. They were the only men that put together in generality certain fragments of different historical events that went on. But you have to collect the main data from the major histories, like the history of Babylon, the history of the Romans, and the history of the Greeks. You had to go strictly to them to get the full picture. Nobody actually took the whole thing and condensed it and put it together. Now B.C., according to our chronologies since the advent of Christ, and may I say this, It was not until way over here in the advent period, did the Catholic Church, with the historians, decide to change the writings of history, how it was recorded. Because according to the histories of Rome, they went ahead recording histories and writing them in the death of Caesar Tiberias, the death of this and the death of that. Each one reigned so many years. But the Catholic Church, after they are way over here, they began to calculate how could they write the advent history all in relationship to the greatest King that has ever lived. That is the birth of Christ, His crucifixion, and let everything from then on be dated related to the advent of Christ. All other histories were related to earthly kings, how long they reigned, when he died, then you started again with the next one. To see that, turn to the book of Kings in your Bible. You will see exactly how the Jews recorded it in the B.C. period. King so and so lived so long and died. Another man took his place. That is the way all histories were written. But if we can see that Christ, according to corrected calendar time, now in the advent period, (By the way we have a couple of copies.) I took the information from a Jewish history book that covers the period of time from right here when the Jews were in Babylon, all through these years of the rebirth of the nation, coming back and rebuilding Jerusalem, and it carries them right on over into the era of the Roman Empire when Christ was crucified. In that Jewish history book they say that Jesus, the son of Joseph, was executed in 33 C.E. because of political reasons. It is in the book. But about ten years ago we were passing through Oklahoma, and I bought a paper. To my surprise, there was a large article in it. Two British scientists claiming to be Christians, through the computer setup they had analyzed this and they stated in their article that Jesus was crucified in the year 33. Here is the scientists. This is taken out of the paper. Here is the page in the Jewish history book. It has the same date. When I read that, I thought to myself, I am going to stop reading these books where former writers disagree. When you have men that disagree, you can never come to a fixed point. So to me, I am using one Jewish and one Gentile. But at least the two recordings agree. I am saying all that to try to give people a clear proximity of what we are looking at. I know God don’t put a yardstick of prophecy in the Bible, if He does not intend to fulfill it and bring it to pass. Because, if the first sixty nine weeks of the seventy weeks of Daniel were fulfilled precisely to the hour, when Christ was crucified, Christ was born in this period (chart) and He actually was two years and eighty nine days before the death of King Herod. He was not yet three years old. But He has passed the two years age. That is why when the wise men came to see Him from the east, they did not come to see a little baby. Herod asked the wise men, how long have you been seeing this star? They told him. When they followed that star, it took them to the house where the young child was. The Bible speaks of the young child, not the babe in the manger. Nevertheless, the world in the religious systems are full of tradition because the Catholic church has done a lot of that. So when we actually break this whole thing down, this is the number of days in the first sixty nine weeks and it terminates right there, (chart.) But that is how many days and years before the death of King Herod, that ended this period of B.C. Now A.D. starts here. Some people get confused. Bro. Jackson, there is a blank there. That is what the blank is. How many realize that? A.D. does not mean after death. It is actually “Anno Domini, after advent.” Right there. Jesus Christ was crucified in the year 33 A.D. but we realize this, He was 33 ½ years old, which means He was cut off in the 34th year of His life. We covered certain scriptures last Sunday morning and night. The world today is not aware that there is a war getting ready to break out in the Middle East and it will be a Bible war. A Bible war. It will be won in a way that will shock this planet earth. It will shake nations. It will shake political systems, because the world of politics doesn’t know, and they are not even trying to understand. They are sound asleep. They are busy putting together their political agendas, trying to make this fit, trying to make this work. That is why they are all getting together. They get up there in the U.N. assembly and will debate, argue, fuss, vote, cancel, for weeks at a time, trying to get one little thing straightened out according to their agenda. I am going to read how God looks at this war. It has been laying here in the Bible for years, many centuries. God don’t think much about these things that have been enemies to Israel. When we hear so much about the Palestinian Arab today, I want all the young people to realize, many of these are descendants of the people we are going to read about. When the Jewish nation was led away from there in 69 A.D. and scattered throughout the Roman world, this left the Holy Land a vacuum. We know through the first few centuries, Christendom had a hard struggle to exist. But after we come to the tenth century, then out of Europe volunteer armies, families, children and all, the Catholic church put this thing together to try to go to the Holy Land and free Jerusalem from the Moslem Islamic religion. They have already built a mosque over the place of the altar of sacrifice, where the Jews offered their animal sacrifice. Almost three hundred years of the Crusader period, caused many European lives to be lost, both on the journey, and lost in the fight after they got there. Yet there was a period of time they existed there. If you go there, you can find certain traces of the times when they did live there. But after the fighting with the Crusaders, the Arab world of Islam drove them out. The Arabs more and more began to come out of the desert countries, infiltrating this land. Keep in mind, the trade routes have changed drastically. The trade routes that once crossed the desert countries, they changed and came to the sea coast at various points, to meet the maritime merchants that brought the commerce from Europe and those places. This brought about a dramatic change in the Holy Land. The Arabs that came, came to be close to this way of commerce because it brought a different lifestyle. They wanted to enjoy some of the benefits. Man still does that today. I say all that to acquaint the young people with what we are going to say. These Arabs that live there today are called Palestinians. They want to be called that because they want to take the name of the land. There are very few actual Palestinians that lived in the day of King David whose offspring are alive any more. They have assimilated themselves among the Arab world. Here is the prophecy in the 63rd chapter of Isaiah.. I will say to the Jewish people, I realize a lot of Jewish people spend very little time reading from their prophets. They have more interest in reading the Torah. That is the first five books of the Bible, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. The first prophecy about this event that is going to take place is in the book of Numbers, the 24th chapter. We will read that later. Here is a mystery. I have read it and wondered, what is the Lord talking about? But it was not until this whole event began to line up, that I could see what God was actually saying. It starts with the question, “Who is this that cometh from Edom, (Notice the primary tribe is Edom. That is the descendants of Esau, Jacob’s brother.) with dyed garments from Bozrah? (That is one of the old settlements.) this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. (I know now it is the Lord. It is the Lord in a theophany form, to show himself as taking command. Now the viewer asked the question.) Wherefore (or why) art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? (Now He replies) I have trodden the winepress alone: and of the people there was none with me: (I am going to read that as it fits the twentieth century. I alone have trodden the winepress, and there is not a nation that stands up for me.) for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, (so that is how they come to have the color) and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed (that is the Jewish people) is come. And I looked, and there was none to help; (This tells you the United States, which has given to Israel for the past fifty years, money, money, money, military equipment and other things, she is going to be in a bad situation when this develops. America is somehow going to be wrapped up in some kind of conflict that will keep her from being able to help.) and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.” That is the first scripture I have chosen to read because it lets us know when the hour comes for it to begin to fulfill itself: God is waiting on no earthly politician to agree with Him. This lets me know what the Bible has in it, you can rest assured it will come to pass. Now go with me, we take the next stepping stone to this great event, the greatest war that Israel will ever have been involved in.

ANNOUNCING THE END OF SOME

Go with me to Ezekiel 25:12. In this chapter God prophesies the end of all these people, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Edomites, that is across the river of Jordan. So we pick up about Edom in this 25th chapter. Keep in mind, a friend of mine, I was reminding him about Numbers 24, what was prophesied by Balaam way before the writing prophets ever came on the scene. You know what kind of answer he got from a Gentile doctor of divinity? He said, Oh that has done been fulfilled. Then why in the name of common sense did it say, in the latter days? That is why I say, you can put about as much confidence in these doctors of divinity as you would in a monkey, when it comes to explaining prophecy. Sure they are educated, but they have educated themselves completely blind. What I am going to read to you has never been fulfilled. Just imagine when it starts, God is going to be the leader in the whole thing. “Thus saith the Lord God: Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; (That is exactly what they did six hundred years before Christ, when the Babylonian army came under Nebuchadnezzar’s leadership and tore the city down. The Edomites stood on the other side jumping with glee. Read the first part of Obadiah. Now the Lord reminds them, you did it then, but now you are going to be paid back.) Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; (that is one of the cities) and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.” If we had a map here we could show you this great sweep that God is going to bring on all these people across the river Jordan, in the land of what we call Jordan today. Remember, in ancient times there was not a country called Jordan. It was the land of the Moabites. It was the land of the Edomites and the Ammonites. The other parts were divided among some of the ten tribes of northern Israel. Now God prophesies, and they of Dedan, this swings way down into Saudi Arabia. Get a Bible map and see where Dedan is. This lets me know, when God starts moving Israel, they will hit the middle east with such a devastating strike, from a military standpoint. I want to say this, A man sent me a video tape on Islam. In many of the colleges of the states today, I hear a report of a lot of the Moslems, from wealthy parts of the world, that send their sons here to go to our colleges. Why? They walk around the corridors, boasting and bragging of who they are, what they are, and what the Islamic religion is going to do to the west. They know nothing of what God thinks about them. Wait until He says something. Keep in mind it is in the country of Saudi Arabia where Dedan is, which is where Mohammad rose up. He started that religion. It became a militant believing religion. They took everything, conversion was by force or blood. They have been that way ever since. That is why the whole Arab world went under it. We can see from reading here, when God starts judging Edom for their part, what they did in ancient times to the Jewish nation, and then how they sacked Jerusalem for what was left, God has had a hatred for them ever since. These prophecies have been laying here in the word of God, like they are sound asleep. A lot of people thought they were irrelevant. They are not irrelevant. They are just now coming to the forefront. Let’s listen. “And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom (they are the first ones) by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord God.” That is putting the 63rd chapter of Isaiah together where He says His raiment is mired by the blood of these people. But here He tells it is Israel who will bear the sword that will do this. The Edomites will be some of the first ones. This lets me know, if you could see a map of the world and the position of Israel, Saudi Arabia, the Edomites, the Moabites, and the Ammonites, you would see, that makes up all the country of Jordan today. Now I want to show you from the Bible, not from some Gentile theological book, these scriptures go together a certain way. I have said this, back years ago when I would study certain things about prophecy, yes you can see certain verses of scriptures of prophecy, quite frequently we can see this one because it is so big. You can immediately say God is going to do this. But keep in mind, there are these little minor prophecies that have been laying here almost concealed, so don’t overlook them because they are important. They help make up the little pieces. When you are putting together a puzzle that really has a lot of dimensions, scenery, you have to look for every one of these little pieces that has something on it, maybe just a color, you have to figure out, where does it match, where will it go. You can’t go by the shape of it. When it is really put together right, you have such a beautiful picture of art. I have to say, We are dealing with a beautiful picture of prophecy. It formulates in your mind by the yardstick that certain things have got to come to fulfillment within a certain time factor. As we said last Sunday, these two thousand years or two days, in Hosea 6:2, which says, After two days He, meaning the Lord, will revive us. When we compare it to calendar time, that takes us to 2004 1/2. You and I know, that is only about five years away. Do you mean the Lord is coming in five years? I am not telling you He is coming in exactly five years. But when five years have gone by you are going to see enough going on in this world, you are going to know that you are at the threshold. No man knows the day or hour. Don’t argue with me about that. But you can know, by looking at the picture that is developing before you, and that is why you should be ready. He is coming as a thief, not for the Bride, He is coming as a thief to the world. Now let’s watch this. If Israel is going to be the part, she is going to be God’s arm, how she is going to strike, what is her main objective? I have a video from a Jewish military man. He is still in the military, but in 1997 he was here in the United States on leave. He says, we know by our intelligence, we are one day going to have to fight the whole Arab world on four fronts, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq. Do you know what that does? If you knew how many tanks Iraq, Egypt, Syria and Jordan have, and how many tanks Israel has, you would have to say, Oh my, I feel sorry for Israel. She has such a small number. It is the same way with the planes. But you don’t look at the numbers, you look at what God says. He told them in olden times, how that one would put so many to flight. Ten would put so many more to flight. God just multiplies the ability. He gives the Jewish man, the fighter, an intelligence that comes right direct from the mind of God. When they go into combat, somehow or other they are able to outsmart their opponent. God seems to give them a brilliant mind to know how to outsmart their opponents. Knowing that when this time comes for Israel to fight this war, they are not alone.

WHAT THIS WAR WILL ACCOMPLISH

The natural minded Jews that do not yet believe in God, is one reason why this condition has to be the way it will be. As I have been privileged to talk to some of the younger Jews over there, it is sad to say, many of the younger Jews that are in college and higher schools of learning, have caught the same spirit that is on Gentile youth, that there is no God, it is all a myth. But God has to do this to open the understand, He is still the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is going to show them, I am the one that promised to bring you back. As I have cursed you and allowed your enemies to wound you, I will heal you and do you good. Turn with me now to Zephaniah. This is a small prophecy. We now know that God, when the time comes, will be in this war and He will use Israel exclusively. She will be the one that will carry God’s sword. That will be all the modern technology in weaponry that she has been able to acquire from the United States, as well as anywhere else she could get it. In the 4th verse, we are dealing with what Israel did in the Six Day War when she took the whole land of the Philistines. “For Gaza (That is the Gaza Strip. That is the part that is in the great debate now that is holding off this peace process because Israel refuses to agree to give up so much percentage of this.) shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon (that is one of the old cities of Gaza, of the ancient times of the Philistines) a desolation; they shall drive out Ashdod (the inhabitants of the ancient city of the Philistines) at the noon day, and Ekron (that is another ancient Philistine city in the Gaza Strip) shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, (this is an ancient Cananite tribe that lived along the Mediterranean going toward Egypt) the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the Lord is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant.” Meaning that when this is really carried out to the fullest extent, there will be no Palestinian Arab living anywhere in this whole area. It will not be a case of the Jew giving up and letting them move in. “And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks.” That means it will be for all Jews that want to take up the agricultural line. But now we see the enlargement of this conflict when it really goes in motion. “And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the Lord their God shall visit them and turn away their captivity.” Meaning no more will they have to be obedient to the dictates of other national leaders. They will be on their own sovereignty. Now this reminds us what God is going to do. “I have heard the reproach of Moab, (Now God is looking backwards, but He is looking backwards in the present tense day of time.) and the revilings of the children of Ammon, (That is the ones the capital is named after, the Ammonites. The capital of Jordan is Ammon. It gets the name from the Ammonite people.) whereby they have reproached my people, (That is why in the Six Day War many of the Palestinian Arabs that did not stay in this land, left and went across the Jordan River to take up refuge in the land of Jordan, because really they are Jordanians, but they have immigrated there in centuries past.) and magnified themselves against their border. Therefore as I live, saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, (That tells you what God thinks about that bunch of people across the river.) and the remnant of my people shall possess them. This shall they have for their pride, (This lets me know God don’t think much of them.) because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the Lord of hosts.” Why? Because God is in the process of bringing them back, establishing them in the land, and according to the U.N., I have used this illustration, God don’t want seven million Jews living in a quart jar. How does that sound? No, God is going to bring His people back and establish them in all their borders. So this is the reason why this conflict has to be. You may say, Well, I don’t believe in violence. Wake up. Violence is not going to be done away with until Jesus comes. “The Lord will be terrible unto them.” I say to the Jewish people that might hear this, today from Iran, from Libya, Ethiopia, the Sudan, the Islamic religion is mounting a psychological war. They want to put Israel to death and declare war on the west. They don’t know what God has said. They don’t know what God thinks about that type of talk. Let’s see what God says about it. I want to tell you why He says it like this. “The Lord will be terrible unto them: for He will famish (look that word up in the dictionary, it means to dry up, wither away) all the gods of the earth.” That is a plural term, that is not talking about one geological spot on earth. The Six Day War was an eye opener to a lot of the western people. I had to watch it. I am thankful that when I was in the army I didn’t have to fight in an era when the leaders’ hands were tied. Casualties were high many times. But when the Korean War and Vietnam Wars were fought, the poor soldiers had to go out there and fight and risk their lives to carry on a war that politicians designed in Washington D.C. It is pitiful. It is pathetic. Think about it, for them to declare such a thing and ask their constituents to go fight their dirty political war. When we were faced with the armada of Iraqi troops in the desert, they had already fought the Iranians for several years. They were used to desert warfare. From the natural it did look bad for us to put enough troops in the desert and be able to do enough to turn the tide, but it is evident when you put four hundred thousand troops in a desert setting and are faced with that much in number of Iraqis who are dug into concrete bunkers. Our troops could not take concrete bunkers with them. They had to depend on the tanks and things of that nature. When you can see our planes going in to drop a bomb or rocket, and see that thing heading right for the front door, there in Baghdad they dropped one right down an elevator shaft of a building. I have to say, that is accuracy. Sure there was a lot of inaccuracy that went on. You have to understand that in the line of warfare. But the fact that the land part only lasted one hundred hours and we only had a hundred and some odd casualties and part of them had been lost in maneuvers before the conflict had even started. I have to believe the God of the American soldier was going to make sad man Hussein sorry that he had ever said, we will make you wallow in your own blood. They were preparing body bags and graves in the desert for five thousand casualties. Yet we only had one hundred and some. You don’t fight modern warfare with the kill power, the kill efficiency so outweighs the old war. I have to say there is an Architect, the General of all wars, is right up there. Sitting at the heads of our colleges and universities today are doctors of psychology, professors of all kinds of studies, they would like to bleed out of you the knowledge of God. I have to say, the world is going to get a chance to see Him as He demonstrates His power on the battlefield of the Middle East. That is God’s old battleground. From the time war was ever fought, there is where it started. I will say, a lot of these professors are going to get so shocked and shook up, by the time they get through looking at the TV and seeing the hand of God in the Middle East, disrupting the whole political affairs of earthly man, I just have to jump for joy and say, Praise God, He is real! “For He will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen,” Gentiles. It says heathen, but heathen in this sense is not talking about the bush people. It is talking about this bunch of Anglo Saxon, western intellectual people that have done away with God. We don’t need Him they say. You do need Him. The hour is coming we are going to be thankful there is a God, that He is real. What is the purpose then? I want to explain this to the Jewish reader. What is the purpose for God to say, in such a little prophecy, that He will famish all the gods of the earth? What is His purpose in that? To the Jewish people I say, Look around you over there. What surrounds you? Islam, blood thirsty Arab Islamics. They have threatened death to Israel and they have threatened death to the west, so they say. Up to a point, that is their aim. But I have to say God has an aim also. He has a plan. We will let Him bring His plan on. First He says in the 25th chapter of Ezekiel, He will use Israel, she will carry the sword. But what about this Islamic god, Allah, with all their threats. She is all around Israel. Israel is sitting in a hornet’s nest. When it comes to God, that don’t matter one bit. Turn to the 11th chapter of Isaiah. We are going to begin this conflict. Israel has crossed the Jordan River. She has taken the land of the Moabites. She has taken the land of the Ammonites. She is hitting Edom with such a devastating blow that the effects of it go into Saudi Arabia. That is where Islam started. This prophecy is strung out over a long period of time. It is progressive. It starts in the 13th verse of the 11th chapter. “The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.” Meaning that is the way it was in ancient times, when the nation became divided. The ten tribes in the north were referred to many times as Ephraim or Israel. But the two southern tribes were Judah. But here God says, as He brings them back, the envy, the hatred, the animosity they have had one toward the other, will be gone, and they will be one. After God has completed this unity, uniting of these tribes, what is the end effect of it? “But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the west; they shall spoil them of the east together: (that is crossing the river) they shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.” So there is no way world politicians can change this picture. He has done said who He will use, and He has done shown Himself as being the Master of it. I have to say God is the greatest General that there has ever been. That is the picture of what the country of modern Jordan is headed for. Let us take this and go right to the 19th chapter of Isaiah. We see Israel launching out. We are starting with the 16th verse. “In that day shall Egypt be like unto women.” Under Mubarak, he has already said with Yasser Arafat and the man of Egypt, they are all in agreement that they have to one day take care of Israel. Yes, they said that it Cairo a few weeks back. But when God does this, just imagine Egypt down here, but up there in the land of Jordan across the Red Sea, all of a sudden they hear what Israel is doing in Edom, Moab, and Ammon. They just lay the land desolate. Even went down into Dedan, that is in Saudi Arabia. “In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which He shaketh over it.” Now may I say this, Anglo Saxon western oriented people like to boast in their scientific achievements. I can remember when we didn’t have an automatic washers. A few of you older ones know what I am talking about. It had a cradle in the bottom of it where you put your clothes, poured the water in, mother put some lye soap in. It was my job to take this cradle and move it backwards and forth. I had to put enough pressure on it to rub those clothes. That was in the early 1930’s. I’ll never forget when the old Maytag came out with the little gasoline engine. Maytag did a good job for the rural people, because only city people could have the electric washing machines. But every Monday morning, everybody that had a Maytag washing machine with a gasoline motor, you could hear that motor start. The Maytag agent would come down the road, would you like to swap a cow. They would swap a cow, a hog, anything for a Maytag washing machine. I knew some in our neighborhood that would swap a cow for the Maytag. My point in saying this, we are living in the day when the western world says, look what we have done. From the old prop airplane to the jet. You can go to Europe over 600 miles per hour. But in the military you can exceed that twice. My point in saying that is to illustrate, Israel is crossing the Jordan River, she has laid the land of Jordan waste. Now she has turned and is heading for Egypt. I want to read that again. “In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which He shaketh over it. And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, (That is not make believe. That is not a myth or a fantasy. Judah, that little bunch of people that took the Six Day War and turned it into a miracle, because she is the lion tribe of the whole nation. She is the war tribe.) every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts, which He hath determined against it.” This lets me know in 1998, 1999, and the year 2000, God is not thinking much about any of that Middle East. Why? They have all given themselves over to that Islamic religion. God is going to wash it out of there, even though He has to shed blood. If it is hard for you to understand why I say God, by some miraculous means of displaying His power and sovereignty in that part of the world, here is how you can read the outcome of that. It is not going to take God ten years for this to be accomplished. No, it is just a matter of a few days and weeks.

A GREAT CHANGE IN EGYPT

Look what is going to happen in Egypt when this miracle war takes place. “In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan.” It is spoken of in the finished sense, but I am going to tell you what causes it to be like this. It goes to show when God shows himself with this Israelite people coming to destroy the military makeup of this Egyptian nation, God is doing it for two basic reasons. First, judging them. Then, to get their attention. When you read the rest of this chapter, God plainly tell you He will wound them, He will strike them, then turn right around and heal them. But when He heals them, it is not for them to go on and pray to Allah. It is to pray to the God of Israel. So we can say, this is a prophecy that has its progressive affect. Once this miraculous thing takes place, when the Egyptian people have to move back and watch that Israeli army come through their land, devastating it and laying everything in ruins, those people will say, now we know that the God of the Jews is greater than our god, Allah. It showed it in the Six Day War, but they did not have sense enough to wake up and believe it. When you read this entire prophecy, you can see Israel’s army so miraculously empowered by God to rain such a devastating blow against the Egyptian nation. One minute they have all kinds of military equipment. The next minute everything is in desolation. The Egyptian people have become afraid. They are ready to surrender and they are ready to say, never have we seen the power of the Jewish God like we have in this. That is the purpose of it. When God does something to people to cause them to change their mind, do you think it takes forty years of psychological training, and psychiatrists to counsel people? No. He just shows His hand. That is why when this conflict is over, it is going to leave Egypt shaken. They will say, as for me, I am going to change my religion and my God. That is why the Egyptians will say, I want to speak the language, not the old Canaanite dialect, but the peoples language that live in the land of Canaan. They are going to say, I want to speak the Hebrew dialect. I want to speak the same language and pray to God just like the Jews. When you read the rest of it, they will build an altar. Where? In the midst of Egypt. What is that for? It goes to show they are not going to sacrifice to Allah or Islam any more. They are going to sacrifice to the God of Israel. Because of the distance involved in the geographical location, the nation will say, now we will build a memorial on the border. This is our token, O God of Israel, Elohim! We are going to build a memorial. Lord, take a look at us. We believe you were in this. They will build that memorial. When you read the rest of that chapter, you see what God is going to do also, because from the Assyrian, that is Syria today, the same thing is going to happen. The outcome of the miraculous military accomplishments, from Syria to Egypt, all through that, God has literally stripped that world of the belief in Islam. Why? Because from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, He stripped them of their belief in Allah. They see for the first time in hundreds of years, the only God there is worth praying to is the God of the Jews. I want to put this little story on the end of this message as we close. In 1968 when I was privileged to go to the Holy Land for the first time, we were on an El Al Airline. As we were talking, there was a Jewish man sitting behind us. We came to find out through our conversation he was a Jewish army commander. He told us he was one of the commanders of the Jewish armored outfit that went through the Sinai to the Red Sea. His name was General Meir Meirvar (spelling?) He lived in a northern town of Safed (spelling?) In civilian life he was the president of a bank there. He told us of many things, that the Jewish soldiers knew and believed God was with them in that war. He said after the war was over and we were allowed to return to our occupations, and one day there was a wealthy Syrian. (Just imagine a wealthy Syrian from Damascus.) He came to the city of Safed and came to the bank where this man was president. He said Meirvar, we know that your God is with you, because we have experienced this in this war. I have so much money. I am bringing it from my bank and want to invest it in your bank, because I know it will be safe. Making it look as if Allah cannot look after it anymore, it is the God of the Jew that he had recognized. I have to say, The world is getting ready for a shaking like it has never been shook before. If we think the stock markets are crumbling now, wait until this happens. When God famishes the gods of the earth, He is doing it for a reason. So tonight, if the Lord is willing, we want to find out what that reason is. One of these days on the TV tube you will watch how God uses Israel to do this, then you will see the news completely changed, about how out of Saudi Arabia, the land of Islam, will come camel caravans loaded with incense and gold. What for? It is going to Israel to beautify the rebuilding of the temple and to offer incense upon the altar. There is no way, out of the Arab world, you are going to get one dime for a Jewish Temple today. But wait until God, through Israel, does this. You are then going to be surprised to see what begins to unfold in the Middle East. You will be surprised also what begins to happen around this world in areas that are under Hinduism and Buddhism. Since this temple is going to be a temple known to the ends of the earth during the Millennium, then I have to say God will use some of the wealth and technology from the ends of the earth, just like He did in the days of King Solomon.

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON, SERMON No. 4, PREACHED 9-20-98 PM

In the latter verses of that chapter we were reading this morning, how that Israel would cross the Jordan River, she would conquer what we call Jordan today . There never was a country in ancient times by that name. That area over there belonged to the Moabites, the Edomites and the Ammonites, along with other parts of it, Gilead, that belonged to some of the northern tribes of Israel. With this in mind, knowing that God has promised that in the last days He would bring Israel back and plant her there, and establish her according to her former estates. That means her boundaries. There is no need for any politician or world leader to think this Bible is a book of mythology and that they can treat it as such. We begin to realize we are living in the twentieth century of modern technology. Man, from the scientific viewpoint, has accomplished a lot. But he has felt it has been his achievement and there was no God in it. It has caused him to brag and boast and to influence millions of people that this God of the Bible is not as some believe, like, Well we have to have doubts of the authenticity of the Bible. God has left mankind in this twentieth century drift into this frame of thinking. As He does, then when He does show Himself in the miraculous way that He will with Israel, and I have to say it is not twenty years off, but just a few short years, you could probably count them on your fingers. Now, having said this, I want to go back to what we were on this morning. We see here by the 19th chapter of Isaiah, Israel will hit the land that we call Jordan today, in order to accomplish all these prophecies. Israel will know in that hour, that she must lay that land waste. She must conquer that. In the first place, it is the closest enemy to her own personal borders. When she does that, she cuts the link of friendship between one Arab nation to another Arab nation, thereby no doubt, in military language, she will be able to succeed in accomplishing the military victory over all this area of Jordan, saving certain airstrips without having to fly her planes back to the main land of Israel, she can resupply them right there in the area of Jordan and send them either direction. Now that remains to be seen, but the reason I say this is because it is from that area, then she goes to the south and she hits Egypt. We read this morning of the devastating way that God is going to hit Egypt. Such a blow. Egypt will never be the same kind of nation again. When you finish reading the rest of the 19th chapter, you see the finished results, Egypt is no longer an Islamic nation. She has been turned, overnight, to believe in the God of Israel. I have to say, it is hard for the educated, Anglo Saxon western people to conceive such a thought. But keep in mind, we are talking about areas where the Bible was written, where all the history of it, all the wars have been fought in that area called the Fertile Crescent. It is returning to that. Israel is going to wind up being the victory nation, and her borders are going to stretch from Egypt to the Euphrates valley. What the American troops, along with the coalition troops she had during the Gulf War, what she refused to go ahead and do, Israel will do it. It will not take her weeks to do it either. If the Gulf War was a miracle for the American troops, to regain their prestige, then this time He is doing this because He is going to give all this land to Israel. Even a lot of the Jews might think that is speculation. No, it is not speculation. This is a fact. It is all so vividly clear. In the latter part of the 11th chapter, we see that at the same time when it shows will Israel will do all this, it tells there, that God will dry up the river Egypt, which is the Nile. Notice what it says, that men can walk over the tongue, or the mouth, (which is the delta), dryshod. We know there has been a drought condition hovering over the eastern coastal regions of Africa for the past twelve to fifteen years. It is just like a cloud. It moved from Sudan, Ethiopia, right down the eastern coast into South Africa, it just moves backward and forward. We know this, when you look at the geography of Egypt, the Nile is furnished water from the plateau countries in the mountains laying next to Ethiopia. That lets me know, when the delta of the Nile goes dry, that men can walk over dryshod, so donot ever think that will not be hard on Egypt, because the Nile has been her lifeline for thousands upon thousands of years. The whole country feeds from that. Her industry runs from that. They put in a dam to generate a lot more electricity. Yes, it is true they can hold back a lot of this water escaping, but with a drought condition hovering over that whole area of the continent of Africa, God knows exactly how to dry up that plateau, and the river that has flowed north, that has been known for its bountiful supplying of the lands in close to the delta, with fresh sediment all the time, when that dries up, do not think the agricultural situation will not look bad. It will. All of that plays right into the hand of God, but we must understand God has a reason. He is not only concerned in laying the land desolate by the military victory on Israel’s part, but it says right here, and the Lord shall smite Egypt. He shall smite it: that is the military victory. Then heal it. That goes to show the after affects will cause the peoples hearts to be turned to the God of Israel. They will begin to pray to God. They shall return even to the Lord, meaning Islamic Egypt shall return to the Lord God of the Jews, And He shall be entreated of them, and shall heal them. It will not take God six years to get it done. When you look at the rest, you can see the lingering effect that this victory in Egypt has. It establishes future things that will go on between Egypt, Syria, and Israel. You read the rest of it. That carries you right on into the Millennium, the thousand year reign. Now I want to take us to the 49th chapter of Isaiah. Keep in mind, we started with Zechariah 12 where it says, And in that day, that means a period of time, not a day of twenty four hours, God said He would cause Jerusalem to become a cup of trembling. There is a reason that Jerusalem was to become a cup of trembling. It is how God through Jerusalem and the Palestinian Arabs that live there now, through the U.N. are more or less making their bid for world opinion, that the whole world through the U.N. body, will be psychologically converted to believe that the Arabs have as much right to live in that spot of ground, as the Jews do. But to a lot of people, their public sentiment, they might think that way, just because the present Arab population was born and raised there, but do not forget the Jewish people were carried out of there two thousand years ago by the Romans. The ten tribes had already been taken out 720 and something B.C., never to return until the last days. But then the two tribes that had been brought back from Babylonian captivity, were taken out of there in 69 A.D. when the Romans attacked the city, besieged the city, defeated the Jewish military, killed many, and carried the rest away into different areas of the Roman world and sold them into slavery. This took the main inhabitants out of the land. The poor Jewish people have been left to wander and drift from one area of the earth to another. All that is written in older scriptures. But now God has promised He will bring them back and will do better with them at the end, than He did at the beginning. Let us just see what all this adds up to. It starts with Jerusalem a cup of trembling, but what is the end results? Here is the objective, it is to deny the Arabs, they will no longer have old Jerusalem, they will no longer be able to argue that Jerusalem will be their capital and they will have a Palestinian state. That is world leaders. That is the way they want to divide the world up. That is the way they planned the 21st century. But I am so glad the 21st century belongs to God. None of the world leaders have anything to do with it. They have their ideas, and they do not want to admit that God is greater than their ideas. It has to be done this way in order for modern mankind to be able to see and recognize God. I have to say, that in the light of all the modern technology of what the world has in weaponry, the ability to defeat a small nation, Israel with their God, this is what is going to turn the world upside down. This is what is going to shake nations and cause millions of people to realize there is a God after all. I will not read all this chapter, but I will touch the high points to give you a profile of the picture, the accomplishment. This great war is over. How long will it last? I will put it like this, just a matter of weeks, not years. Because when God gets in this, keep in mind He is doing it to show to nations, I have returned to Israel. He is doing it to wake up the Jewish people. As I said this morning, I have been there, there are thousands of young Jewish people, college age, that do not know whether to believe in the God of their ancestors, or not. I would have to say, not to be derogatory, it is a shame for the devil to have robbed them of the knowledge of their true God. After all, it is their book. Gentiles, this is not our book. No Gentile wrote one verse of scripture in it. It is all written by Jewish prophets and apostles. We have just borrowed it, that by faith and the grace of God imparted to us, we are able to reach out by faith and accept the promises of God, that He promised to Abraham when He came from the land of Mesopotamia and was coming into Canaan land. When God promised He would give him that land, then He told him, in thee and thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Abraham did not know what all that meant. But we can see today, we are children of Abraham, not genetically, but we are children of Abraham by faith. I am thankful to God that He included us. We can see this city of Jerusalem mentioned in this great prophecy in the 49th chapter. Certain verses when you read them, is how the land, Mt. Zion is the city that Jerusalem is built on. Mt. Zion, that has been absent for hundreds of years without the Jewish people walking its streets, living in its buildings, you can see the land beginning to speak out. The prophecy is speaking on behalf of where Jerusalem exists.

GETTING READY FOR A MIRACLE WAR

To keep this from boring you, I am just going to highlight verses. This particular miracle war has been accomplished. The Jewish people will immediately know what to do because when this goes out to many other Jews that are still out there in dispersion in other nations, it wakes them up to the point that they say, I want to go there myself, I want to immigrate back to Israel. But we can say this, It is not just any Jew, even though He is of the tribe of Judah, that is going to have that opportunity. The city of Jerusalem, as it was captured by King David, basically through the years that followed that victory for him, it gradually became populated by those related to King David. This is why after King David’s victory, the city in latter years became known as the city of David. It meant that it was relatives, cousins, and such, all of the household of King David. We Gentiles do not keep genealogical books, but the Jews do. Hundreds and thousands of Jews know exactly what tribe they belong to. That has been their business. When you read Chronicles, that show you how they looked at the genealogical side way back during the B.C. period. These Jews are going to say, I want to go and live at Jerusalem. This war is basically to give Jerusalem back to the Jews, where they have their sovereign right to hold it, possess it. Also it gives them the right to take all their promised land. That is why I say, Everything that God promised Abraham, they will take it and the world cannot stand in the way. We will let this land speak. The land where Jerusalem is built begins to speak out. I am going to start in the 11th verse. “And I will make all my mountains a way.” In this you read mountains, you are talking about a particular kingdom, which means wherever there is still Jews settled in certain nations, and they have not all left, God said, I will make all my mountains a way, “and my highways shall be exalted.” Keep in mind, this is figurative language. God is not going to build highways just to get the dispersed Jews to come home. You have got to see the figurative language. No matter whether it is Syria, Iraq, or what nation that has bottled up the Jews, refusing to let them leave and go back to Israel, now He is going to break down all governmental barriers, because the world has been made to realize there is a God of Israel. All through this Bible, we are going to see tonight how God looks upon the nation after this victorious war, what God is going to do to that nation that will not minister to the restoration and rebuilding of Israel. “Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.” According to the translators, this land of Sinim is China. That lets us know there is a possibility, there is a few of the ancient seed of the Israelites that still live in this oriental country. The 13th verse says, “Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth: and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord hath comforted His people, (He has given them victory, now they know He is with them, now they don’t need to fear no more, and God is going to lift other things from them.) and will have mercy upon His afflicted. (Now the land itself speaks.) “But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, (Think of it. Two thousand years Jewish people have been denied to live there in a collective sense.) and my Lord hath forgotten me. (That is what the land says. But the Lord replies back,) Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” He is looking right at that spot on Mt. Zion where the old city of Jerusalem is. If we read it right, God is saying, take a look and watch. What follows this? He says, “Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” Notice He is promising the land, and this promise has been laying here for hundreds and hundreds of years. Now you and I are a generation that is living to see this fulfilled right before our eyes. I am going to say this, It is not twenty years off. I am going to say, this thing could start in the next few months. “Thy children shall make haste.” Now I want to say this to any Jewish reader, we hear a lot of political collaborating going on by Yasser Arafat, how he threatens the Israelites, that if they don’t allow them to have old Jerusalem as their capital, that they will give them another intefada (spelling?) meaning a war, trouble. I want to say for the sake of the Jewish reader, I know you live over there and see these Arabs all around you. They have made their boasts. When we read from Zephaniah 2, when this war, which is a miraculous thing, God accomplishes not only Israel taking the land of Jordan, but He said I will destroy, I will famish all the gods of the earth, in that day. What is He going to do it for? To the Jewish believer, I want to ask, if you were to go to Saudi Arabia today and ask their king, would he give a contribution for the rebuilding of the Jewish temple, what kind of answer would you get? You would be run out. Suppose you were to go there today and make a speech and ask the political side of Saudi Arabia, Don’t you think you rich Arabs ought to open your heart of compassion and give the Jews something toward the rebuilding of their temple? They would tell you No. Why? Because they are all under Islam. We know this, the Mosque of Omar, which is a big Islamic temple, sits right on the spot where the Jewish sacrificial altar is to be rebuilt. I have heard this from Gentile preachers on prophecy, that the antichrist will give the Jews an opportunity, by signing a covenant, to rebuild their temple. I have to say that is so misconstrued. No where in the Bible does the antichrist agree to let Israel build their temple. You are going to see it when we get these scriptures tonight. God is going to cause Israel to gain the victory over all this area, by destroying Islam religion, not in a forty year term, but more like forty days. When it is over, those Arabs are going to come screaming, begging, pleading with the Israelites, we want to worship your God. We know He is victorious. Keep that in your mind as we read here. The land is still talking. “Thy children shall make haste; (To the Jews, those Arabs that walk the streets, rubbing shoulders with you, knowing in your heart that they threaten you,) thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.” Right now the Arab Palestinians have no intention of leaving that land. They want just the opposite. If anything, they would ask the Jews to leave. But in the end results of this, God knows right now, and He knew a long time ago, so that is why the prophet put it in here, thy destroyers, they that made thee look like a slum. The Arabs have let the land grow up and become desolate, untilled, untended. They set around smoking their Turkish tobacco, baking their bread in open ovens on the street. Street vendors with little carts, a lifestyle that goes back hundreds of years. Then here comes a car, right along the burros and everything else. You have the twentieth century, you have the B.C. centuries, running parallel. It speaks this twice in this prophecy. Any time you see within the structure of a prophecy, the objective mentioned more than once, rest assured that prophecy will stand out in the forefront. There is not a man that can read it, if he is in the generation that it is to be fulfilled, he will see precisely why God wanted it mentioned twice. Let us go on. “Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. (Who is this coming? It is Jews. Coming to do what? To immigrate to the city of Jerusalem.) As I live, saith the Lord, thou shalt surely clothe thee (He is speaking to the mountain, right where Jerusalem is, clothe thee) with them all, (that is the Jewish people) as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.” In other words, when the city of Jerusalem has been reclaimed and now it is Jews that live and fill her habitation, God is going to take great pride in how that city, from that moment on, begins to look. The Jews will too, because there is something that is going to come on them. “For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow (too crowded) by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.” There it is the second time. That lets us know there is no compromise in the mind of God about this. No. The Arabs are not going to be able to negotiate and say, well, we won’t cause any more problems. They are all going to have to leave because this is going to be restored to be a city dedicated to Jehovah. “The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, (meaning those in B.C. times) shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait (crowded) for me: give place to me that I may dwell. Then shalt thou say in thine heart, who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone, these, where had they been?” God knows exactly where every Jew is, that belongs to the lineage of the house of David. Keep in mind, the house of David is out of the tribe of Judah. But the tribe of Judah is settled mainly in the rural areas of the territory of Judah. With this in mind, this conflict, this miraculous war, it will have accomplished to reclaim Jerusalem as the Jews’ capital and the Jews will immediately begin, from the ends of the earth, those that belong to King David’s line, will immediately begin to immigrate back. They will come in numbers so fast, it will be hard for the administrators to be able to look the situation over, to delegate and divide the territories and prepare for the building of housing and such, for these Jewish immigrants that are coming. Just as we will read here in a few minutes, that city is not going to be left in an old run down, desolate, poverty looking condition. Immediately the Jews will want to start dressing it up. I want to say this to the Jewish reader, that miraculous war is over. The reason it is a miraculous war, God shows himself as God of the Jews, He has returned to them, to show favor to them. Now let us go to the 60th chapter. Here is where we begin to see the affect of this miraculous war, what all is going on. This miraculous war that God is going to do in the Middle East is going to change a lot of thinking right here in the United States. That is why I would like to be standing, looking over the shoulders of some of these professors, deans, presidents of colleges, when they have seen some of the display of the power of God and cannot hide themselves from it, I would like to tap them on the shoulder and ask, What do you think of that? That is God, that you have said does not exist. That is the God you said was a myth. That is the fulfillment of a book you said was nothing but fantasy and fiction. It is not fiction: God is going to do what the Bible says, why? To touch the heart of an element of young people that are walking right now on the face of this earth, both in this part of the world and other parts of the world. This is one way God has of turning their minds around. I have to believe we are going to see all kinds of chaotic deranged incidents take place. It won’t come from somebody seventy years old. It comes from little kids, all they have ever seen is terror, tear it up, scare them, have a good time at the other person’s expense. It wouldn’t have to be that way. Gross darkness of the people, you’ve got it now. You cannot call it anything else but darkness. And the Gentiles, including you and me, I am speaking on behalf of Gentile nations shall do what? I am not talking about the Christian Bride of Christ. How many understand that? I am speaking on behalf of the Gentile world. “And the Gentiles shall come to thy light.” I have to say to those that preach the United Nations and New World Order stuff, there is nothing in the New World Order agenda that will even allow anything like this to be fulfilled. Not in our day. That is why I have to say, If they would read Zechariah 12 exactly as God said, in that day, is when God is going to take that U.N. body, in one place it says He will break them to pieces, in the next place it says He will cut them to pieces, though all the world be gathered together against Jerusalem. That is the diplomatic negotiating process. “And kings to the brightness of thy rising.” That is the restoration of the nation of Israel. “Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged: because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, (This is not talking about spiritual conversion. This is talking about material substance of various descriptions that is going to literally be turned from its original commercial purpose, turned and sent to Israel for the rebuilding of Jerusalem, the temple, and whatever the Israelite people need it for in that up and coming future which is just a short time ahead.) the forces (this is not military forces, this is talking about material substance) of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.” Now let us see, when this has happened, where is the Arab Islamic god is. It tells us right here, or at least we should be smart enough we will have read it. As we go into the 6th verse, “The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; (that is Saudi Arabia) all they from Sheba (that is still Arabia) shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the Lord.” Where are they bringing it to? They are bringing it to Jerusalem. Can you get it right now? No. But I have to say to the Jewish reader, Your own Bible tell you the future. This is not some political gimmick. This is reality. It is going to be such a fulfillment that it is going to bring such joy to people from one end of this earth to the other, as they are made to realize there is no god like the God of Israel. Now let us see what happens. “All the flocks of Kedar (This is one of the sons of Abraham by Keturah, Abraham’s second wife.) shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth (another son) shall minister unto thee: (Right now Israel has no animal breeding program within the whole agricultural output, but here it goes to show when this great and glorious event does unfold and take place, it is going to set in motion immediately the Jewish people that are religious minded, they are going to immediately say, Let us start offering sacrifice. Well they have to have an altar. That is the first thing. Since there is no animal breeding program to start producing this large number of animals for sacrifice, then God beforehand has already spoken, out of the land which is alien, anti, they are going to turn and say, Here, you can have my sheep. I know this sounds fantastic. I have been asked, Bro. Jackson, do you think the temple will be built before the Millennium. It is not going to be built during the Millennium. It will already be built, because the Bible makes that clear. The only thing is, it is just spoken in a way they have to read all these scriptures that put the picture together. There is no need of this Gentile church of tradition, thinking that the temple will suddenly drop out of heaven. No. Let us finish reading this. What does this gold go to? It goes to decorate and beautify the house of God. As He speaks here of the various nations that will contribute the animals, “they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I (This is the Lord speaking.) will glorify the house of my glory.” What is He talking about. The temple. That is what that gold is coming for, out of Saudi Arabia. The 8th verse says this, “Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?” Can you not see giant airplanes. Like the Berlin airlift, when the Russians tried to say, we will starve east Germany, Berlin, into submission. I have an article about that. The planes they had then, were not like the ones we have now. Think of it.

GOD TOUCHES THE HEARTS OF MANY

I have to say when this miraculous war is fulfilled, everything is going to come together so speedily, so quickly, because it shows that God has put His approval in it. These nations that have the facilities and the means of material substance that the Jews can use, airplanes of giant sizes, will take this substance and will fly everything there that they can possibly fly. It will be just like when the Berlin airlift was going on. They came around the clock. The 9th verse, “Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because He hath glorified thee.” God is going to put it into the Jewish peoples’ hearts, such a joy of knowing that God has returned to them with favor. He is not only doing that for them, but He is also putting upon the hearts of Gentile people in various nations around the globe, to want to do everything they can to contribute something to the reconstruction, and the beautifying of this land. Why? Because they are getting ready for the coming of their Messiah. With that in mind, let us continue on. The 10th verse, “And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls.” What does this mean, sons of strangers? I want to look at it from a political standpoint. We know this, Israel in ancient times, had international, political relationships with certain nations in the old world. But in this day and hour we have to realize, we have got to have a picture how the world in generality looks upon the Israelite nation. The nation of Israel, yes, by certain reasons, they have always carried on since WW2, certain diplomatic relationships with certain western nations. But this tells us here, not the sons of friendly nations, but the sons of strangers, that have never had political relationships of communication, or the transaction of trade. When it says the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, when you read the story how King Solomon built the old temple in 1000 B.C., it was not all Jews that worked on that. When they conversed with the king of Lebanon, some of the best stone masons there was, came from the Lebanese people. Throughout the countries round about that area, there were people that came, donated, contributed their expertise, what their trade was. That is how that temple went together. From cedar, from oak, from stone, it was not brought on the temple grounds and cut, hewed, polished, it was all brought to certain areas where the material was gathered. There is where the stones were polished and finished. According to the architects, they knew where each particular stone was marked to go in this construction. So when the hour came for the temple to be built, the Bible says there was not the sound of a saw or a hammer. They brought the material, the substance, and put the stones in place, then the cedar beams in place, it was already a finished product. But looking at this same thing in this day of modern equipment, and the way they can take stone, and iron, I can see there will be an era that from the various nations of the earth that have been startled, shook, they are going to say, we want to contribute certain materials that we have, to this great cause. The temple that is going to be built then, is not a temple just for the Jews alone, it is the temple that the Lord is going to set in for one thousand years. It plainly tells you in the 14th chapter of Zechariah, and all nations, once each year, shall go to Zion and Jerusalem. To do what? To worship the Lord of hosts. Let us continue on, “And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings (their political leaders) shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee. Therefore thy gates shall be open continually: they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee (notice) the forces (material things) of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.” None of this sounds like the U.N. has anything to do with it, does it? Can you see the U.N. in this? No. “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.” Bankrupt. I have to say, right here (chart) is the week of Daniel. It is the last seven years of this whole seventy weeks period. In the first part is where the two prophets will appear. In the last half is where the antichrist sits. Keep in mind though, this great miraculous thing with Israel takes place before this week starts. According to the yardstick of Hosea 6:2, that should terminate, meaning the yardstick, the end of it, around 2004 1/2. Somewhere in this is where this miraculous thing begins to unfold. It lets you know the city of Jerusalem and the Jewish temple will, by the time this week starts, be in the process of being rebuilt. That is why when John was given a reed like unto a rod, reading in the 11th chapter of Revelation, measure the altar and the temple and them that worship therein, but the outer court leave out, for it is given unto the Gentiles. Forty two months shall they tread the city under foot. That is talking about the last half of it. This reconstruction, rebuilding, beautifying, takes place just shortly before the week starts. By the time the week does start, the antichrist has signed his covenant period, by the time the middle of the week comes, that is where everything is shut down. So basically the temple has become a finished object. If you can understand now, somewhere in this little era here just before the week starts, this great and glorious era of the miraculous, the display of God to the Jewish people, shows you God is getting the Jewish people ready for the great visitation of their prophets. Certain nations will have been contributing certain types of materials. God is not coming down the street with the Salvation Army, pushing a wheel barrow and a red bucket. No. God is putting on the hearts of politicians and leaders of that hour, that have already seen the display of God, now they are responding accordingly. I can see some of the young students in the Orients, that have been raised under Hinduism, and Buddhism. He is in college, studying engineering, building and so forth. I can see these young men when they see that miraculous thing take place in the Middle East, they have to compare that with their god of Hinduism or Buddhism. I can see some of these young men say, I am convinced there is no god like the God of the Jews. He is going to say, I want to go there and contribute at least six months of my profession to their cause. Why? Because God will lay it upon their hearts. This is not a welfare work exhibition. No. This is people that have seen something, they have heard something. It has affected their hearts. That is why the sons of strangers will volunteer, let me go, let me contribute. I know when the Six Day War was going on, right here in the United States and Canada, there were Jewish people of certain types of professional occupation, that left their jobs . They said, I want to volunteer my services to my country, my people. They did. Think of it, this time it will be on a larger scale. Sons of strangers will come and help built up thy walls. The nation that will not serve thee, that lets us know there is going to be a world wide feeling begin to move out there, as the world begins to see Israel is rebuilding, renovating, beautifying. The 13th verse, “The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, (ten thousand feet elevation, in the northern mountains of Lebanon, is a cedar forest. They claim the cedars there are five thousand years. There is the remnant of the giant forest of cedars that existed in the days of King Solomon. It is a known fact, from the cedars of Lebanon, there was a great trade for this cedarwood. The cabins of maritime ships were finished with this cedarwood from Lebanon. A few years back, these cedars were perishing so fast, finally the government stepped in and said they would keep a certain acreage. That is the remnant of her glory of bygone days. I have to say, the glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree,) the pine tree, and the box together, (What for?) to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.” It is going to be the most beautiful building in all the known world. “The sons also of them that afflicted thee (Let’s see what happens,) shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; (God will make them come and say, we are sorry that we defamed your name.) and they shall call thee, The city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, (This is another figurative language, which means this, Ted Turner has billions. Think, all over the world there are these wealthy business executives. This is a language, when God puts it upon their heart, they are going to begin to say, I am dedicating a billion to this cause.) and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the Lord am thy Savior and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.” I realize there are a lot of educated Gentiles today that could read this and say, oh this is all fantasy. Stick around! We know there is as much money here today as there ever was, it is just that a lot of it is in the wrong hands, and it went there the wrong way. Watch this. “For brass I will bring gold, (this means whatever you read about what King Solomon put in his temple, whether it was a door knob or what, in this future temple, he will exchange it and it will be improved) and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness. Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders.” You can finish reading the rest of it. You are seeing Jerusalem going through, in a few short months of time, one of the most beautiful, uplifting, renovating, because the Jews, after seeing God’s hand on their behalf, in this miraculous war to give them their land back, to give them their city back, they cannot help but put their whole heart into this, because they know they are getting it ready for their coming Messiah. With this in mind, this is how God prepares the hearts of a lot of Gentiles, how they will want to contribute, distribute substance. I can see construction men that run a big company here in the United States or Canada. I can see how some of these construction men will say, I am shutting down for a short period of time and we are going to Israel. We are going to get in on this thing. You might not think it, but I have to say this, as we have been privileged different times to be there, we have had guides tell us many things. One time when we stood where old fort Megiddo was, we were looking over the Jezreel valley. As you see that, you see on a small scale the level land, like you would see in Iowa or Nebraska. It is the breadbasket of northern Israel in ancient times. When the ten tribes were taken out of there, hundreds and hundreds of years ago, God said the land would become desolate. It would rest. There was a time when parts of that land became a giant swamp. Crocodiles infested it. Naturally when the Jews began to go back there, many went back with western technology they had acquired. You and I know that no Jew is a farmer in the states or Canada. Nevertheless as he travels from place to place he cannot help but see it, because many times the produce he buys, he has seen it as it has been produced by western agricultural technology. With this in mind, as he looked out over the valley, they were planting citrus, planting grain, barley, wheat and such, as they did in ancient times. A tour group was there from Texas. One man, as he looked out over the valley, said to his guide, That land looks like it would grow cotton. He was asked, why? I can tell by the looks of the land, I believe it would grow a tremendous amount of cotton. In fact, I would like to take a sample of it back home. Through his guide, he contacted the Israeli department that would allow him to take a sample of this dirt home to Texas. He did. He planted some seed in it. A few months later he contacted the agricultural department of Israel and said, that land in the Jezreel valley is ideal to grow a tremendous crop of cotton. At that time we could see in the distance great piles of bales of cotton. The guide told us they had harvested the crop. It is baled, waiting to be shipped. He said, in fact we are now a competitor to cotton production, which Egypt was the sole producer of cotton in other eras. But now they are competing against Israel for the cotton market. I am saying that to show you, In Israel, as the Jews come home, they are coming from various nations with much knowledge. Keep in mind they have picked up here and there certain technological things they can put in practice. In this same valley, parts of it was covered with swamps. Other Jews coming from the areas of Australia, fell on the idea to drain the land by cutting irrigation ditches, then planting the eucalyptus trees. In Australia, they use the eucalyptus tree because it has the largest, the deepest penetrating tap root of any tree. They set these in rows. Today there is no more swamps. They are all dry. All that land has been reclaimed, after laying hundreds and hundreds of years, desolate, ruined wasteland. So with technology that has been acquired from various nations where they have come from, can you not see when the time comes for this city to take on a beautification project, it is not going to be done just by the Jewish people. It is because of what God does to restore the Jewish people, and lets His glory be seen resting upon them, and the rising of them back to preeminence and attention, that this can not help but spread throughout the world. It is going to touch the heart of people. People are going to be persuaded, I want to contribute and have a little part in this, so they volunteer their service. Well I am going to close this part of my message tonight, so as the miracle has taken place and Israel has their land back, we will pick up there next time. The Lord willing, we will deal with Ezekiel 38 and 39, that has caused so much controversy among many.
