Jesus Is The Son of God, Part 2

We are starting this issue right where the April issue finished. Philip has said, Lord, show us the Father, and Jesus answered him, and that is where we are starting. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? He that has seen Jesus in His ministry to them, had seen the Father. You have seen the Father work: You have seen the Father heal through me. Jesus did not have the power to lay His hand on anybody and heal them without the Father. No doubt Jesus shook hands and there was not any power that went out of Him; but when the woman came and touched His garment, power went out of Him. He did not know that was going to happen; But when it did, something struck Him. This is a need, this is somebody that believed, because He called her the daughter of Abraham. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, (That is what I was saying, Believest thou not that I am in the Father.) and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, (How much plainer could it be?) He doeth the works. (Who? He, God does the works. I am just an instrument in His hand.) Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Where is He going? Down the street? Is He going back into Jerusalem? Is He going to some other place on this earth? No, He is going back to the Father to make intercession for us poor creatures. When we can recognize ourselves as being nothing and recognize Him as being everything, then we are getting down the right road. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. I am going to stop right there, I have another place in John; but I will stop there until tonight. Can you see spiritually, what I am saying?

JESUS IS NOT GOD

It is good to see you tonight. I was told tonight before I came up here, that a year ago Israel was going to attack Iran, their facilities where they are making their nuclear stuff. According to what I was told, Obama called Netanyahu and told him, if you do, I will shoot your planes down. So I ask you, can you not see what Israel is facing because she has lost all her friends. I hope that when Netanyahu is able to speak before Congress, that he sets somebody’s house on fire with his speech. I know God is getting about enough of this kind of maneuvering we have all been putting up with, I know am. Regardless of who you are, you know this country is in trouble. Just look at all the weather problems everywhere. It is not just going to come to the normal people, it is going to come higher up, the way these things are going. We better get our house in order. We have no excuse otherwise. I am preaching this message, and I did not say it, but somebody said this could be the capstone on the godhead, from what I had to say this morning. I had not planned to say everything I said, but it was truth. I am going to continue on with it; because it is needed. I just have to say this, if you are a sympathizer with those who are causing this godhead problem, you better watch out; because God does not have any sympathizers. That is my warning to you. If you are sympathizing with somebody just because you like them, or because they mean more to you than truth, then God is going to take care of that and you will no longer be at Faith Assembly at the end time; because He will see that you are taken out. I hate to say those things, but it is something I am responsible for. I am responsible for my brothers and sisters. You do not have to fear what I have to say. I am standing for a true revelation; which all of my true brothers and sisters appreciate. I do not have anything to gain in a physical sense, by preaching these things. Neither any monetary gain, and I certainly do not preach what I preach because of friendship; or to gain friendship. I know I am going to lose some friends over this. We just as well speak plainly about the entire thing, and at least stay in favor with God. I am going to go ahead with this message until I feel that I have said enough to help all true believers of truth. I said when I first started pastoring; I am going to stand for truth no matter what; whether it be kinship or friendship that it hurts. Up until this time I have done that, and I have no thought otherwise. I want to go back now, to St. John 17. St. John is what he is called, but for myself, I would rather say Brother John. These words spake Jesus, and lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, Father. This is when He was getting ready to go to the garden. This is His last message before He goes to the garden to surrender Himself unto the Father, to fulfill His plan. If He is God there, He would be now. But why does He pray the way He does, Father? If it is your will, let this cup pass from me, nevertheless, not my will but thine be done. He said that three times, then He surrenders, not my will but thine be done. He goes out and tells the disciples, wake up now, time for us to go. I believe the Father had already told Him what He must suffer. I believe He went to that garden knowing some of the things He must suffer because He could read the Psalms the same as we could, and Isaiah 53. He could also read that. He was not the one that wrote it, but it was that Spirit inside of Him that inspired those prophets of old. Let me say this, when we are talking about the veil that was over Moses’ face, we cannot put a veil over everybody’s face. We do not have a veil over our face. Only the darkness out here has a veil over their face and they will never see what we see. Jesus, knowing by the scripture, what He would go through, He cried to the Father. Father, if it be your will, let this cup pass from me. Nevertheless, not what I will, but your will. Then He cried out on the cross, my God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me. He felt forsaken then. He still had the Holy Ghost. You never lose that. I think many times, many will go right up to that last step, but they can never take it. Water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is an essential act of accepting that which is provided for true believers of the gospel. It is a part of your born again experience. If water baptism is all we get, we have not got it all. Here is Jesus, These words spake Jesus, and lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, (Why did He lift His eyes up to heaven? He then starts His prayer, in the 17th Chapter of John, with Father I know I am not going to convince the gainsayers with this, but those who respect the Word of God will see. If somebody has it in their heart that they don’t aim to listen, then I cannot help them. On the other hand, I want the true Church of the living God to know where they stand, and what they can stand on here in this end time, and also that they can have fellowship with the Father and with the Son as it says in the Bible. We have fellowship with the Father and with the Son through the Holy Ghost that is dwelling inside of us. It is a free gift, but not to be taken lightly. It involves a surrender. To you young people I say this, getting baptized is not just a popular thing to do, just because somebody else did. To you younger children, six, seven, eight years old I say, you need to listen to what is being taught. It is time to put away the little cars and all those things some of you play with during the preaching service. I am not just talking to the young children, it is time to put away the play things whoever you are. You can do all that at home. Let God speak to your heart’s when tyou are here, because you need it. You who want to make it in the rapture, must first learn to respect the Word of God. You need the Holy Ghost even at a young age.) Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, (Why would He pray like that?) that thy Son also may glorify thee. He has already prayed in the garden, or let me say, He is going to the garden, then He prays. But this is His last message; and it is a prayer. It is His last message to us before He goes to the cross, because when He goes to the garden, then everything is settled. He said on the cross, it is finished. I preached that message one time when Bro. Jackson was still alive. When He said it is finished, people without revelation think God has been building mansions for the last two thousand years. When Jesus said it is finished, they think that finished the building. And everything is ready for occupation. As thou (Who is He talking to? He is talking to His Father.) hast given Him (Jesus) power over all flesh, (Jesus in Matthew 28:18, He said all power is given to me in heaven and in earth, He was talking about to the Church, that is the power that He has expressed unto us. He did not have power over the universe. That is in the Father’s hands. How come, that before all this started, God counseled with Himself? He had nobody there to counsel with, He counseled with Himself. The angels were not even there. His plan could have taken a billion years before He ever did anything. Because there was a lot of planning in what He was to do. Remember that God is from everlasting to everlasting. You just keep going around, you cannot get out of the circle. If you do, you have broke something.) that He should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given Him. Not the whole world, but as many as is given Him. If our name is not in the book, it is what is in your heart. What do you desire? I am not mad, just loud. Do you want me to talk to where you don’t understand me? Whisper it out so that nobody will hear? I want them to hear. You can hear me or turn me off, but the message is still out there. I would have to say to any preacher tonight, if you cannot stand before a congregation and stand against error, you should not be there. You may say, oh but I have family to think of. I said error, so if you tolerate it, you are missing the mark. You should just sit down. If you do not have the backbone to stand for truth, then it would be a lot better for you to sit down. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, (Who is He praying to? Who is He talking to?) and Jesus Christ, (And, there is a conjunction, and Jesus Christ.) whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: (Who is He glorifying? He is glorifying the Father. It was because the Father was in Him and He was doing the works of the Father.) I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. This is the thing I feel that I want to do. I am not trying to go overboard, but there is a need for this message tonight. There is a need for the message because there is error among many that are claiming to be bride saints. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. That is in God’s thoughts. God had already planned everything, and it was all in His great mind: all things pertaining to His only begotten Son included. He planned the Law. Man needed something to regulate him. He needed something to live by. So what He did to Abraham, He gave him circumcision in a way to cut away the flesh. But He still did not have a Law. God is inching up a little bit at a time until He gets to Moses, then He gives a Law and regulation for the people to live by. The thing about it is, just like this end time: God had a messenger that brought a message. His message brought us so far; and that was as far as he could go. He said that himself. Look in the Seals book, around page 575, and you will find it. In the Seals book he said, I have gone as far as I can go. He said that for a purpose. That was in 1963. There is no more revelation for the Bride after that, no more deep revelation. The Branham movement will say that every word he said from 1963 on, was Thus saith the Lord. If he told his wife to go get him a cup of coffee, that was thus saith the Lord. I don’t know what they do with all that he said before then. He was sitting in Banks Woods’ house one time; and wherever he was, there were always some gathered around. There was a certain man there; and a man passed by in a Cadillac; and Bro. William Branham said to him, that is what you need. That man sold everything he had and bought a Cadillac. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy Word. He is talking to His disciples here, when He was inspired to speak these words to His Father. There were plenty that walked away from Him. He had five thousand that He fed, men plus women and children, which would have added up to maybe twenty thousand. But most of them walked away later. They ate the fish, they ate the bread: which was all a miracle. He spoke to His Father and His Father is a Creator. He is just carrying out the work of the Father. He said He did. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. See? All through here He is talking about what the Father had done. Jesus is not the Father. Some want to say so, but it is obvious to true believers, that He is not the Father. What is He doing? Do they think He was talking to Himself? I have done all that the Father has given me to do. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, (If you want to know, He is saying I came out from God, I came out from the Father. He knows what He is talking about. Everybody that reads this should know the same.) and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, (In other words, He is getting ready to go to the garden and He is saying I am no more in the world. I know there are questions about three days and three nights in the grave. I wondered a little bit about that at one time, because what we call days, are full days. The Jewish realm, they count part days. When Bro. Jackson went over that and said He spent the whole night before the judgment seat, that was part of the three days and three nights. If you listen to these others on television, they are going to say well, this Friday it is talking about, or what we talk about as Friday, well that was the high day, that did not count. They will do anything to make it look like what He did was wrong, or that something is added there. Now I am no more in the world…) but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. He said, I and my Father are one. But then He said, that they may be one as I and the Father are one. You will never be in the Bride if you are not one of Him. I will never be unless I am. We are Bride because we have become acquainted with Him through the same spirit that He has in Him, and the Spirit that was in Him came from the Father above. If Jesus is God, who was running the universe before His birth and growth into manhood? I went over that scripture this morning, about where He said ye are gods, the thing about it is, they are pushing that. You can read it in s24 John 10:34. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, ye are gods? He was just making a statement because they were asking Him a question, and they were accusing Him of making Himself God, so He said are they not God’s to whom the Word of God comes? He was talking about the Spirit. He was not talking about Isaiah, He was not talking about Abraham. He was not talking about Moses, that Moses was God. God did call Moses and said you will be God to Pharaoh and Aaron will be your prophet. Well he was, because they were looking to him, what is he going to do next. One plague happened, two plagues, five plagues, seven plagues. It finally ended up with ten plagues. Pharaoh was not looking to God: Pharaoh was looking to Moses. He said, I will make him a God unto you, unto Pharaoh. That did not make Moses God, but he was a deliverer. Jesus was God’s deliverance. He still is, He delivers us from the past, all the guilt of the past, He piled it on Him and said, come on children, let us go into this together, because from now on you are forgiven all debt. Verse 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy Word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Now He makes a statement here, a statement that needs to be heard. Sanctify them through thy truth: (That goes back to what Paul said in the 5th chapter of Ephesians, by the water of the Word. Sanctify them through thy truth…) thy Word is truth. You will not get any closer to God than that, because without the truth, you have no way, nothing. As thou hast sent me into the world, (Who sent Him into the world?) even so have I also sent them into the world. He is not connecting Himself as being the Father anywhere in here. He is praying to the Father. Too many people are coming to God the way Nicodemus did. He talked to him about the new birth. Young people listen, it is time we put away just talking, put away our ideas, and listen to what is being preached. It is time for you to get acquainted with the Father. We are not just sitting here in Faith Assembly because we have nothing else to do. If you are a teenager, it is time to get your mind upon God. I remember one preacher, while he was preaching, somebody back in the congregation was talking. He stopped preaching and said, is what you have to say more important than what I have to say? If it is, maybe we all should hear it. I am not trying to put church order in Faith Assembly, but the Bible says, he who hath ears to hear, let him hear, and I am saying that tonight. If you have ears to hear, then hear. We are not playing tiddly-winks, we are not just playing church. Little children will be little children. We do things to keep them quite, little cars and different things. That does not bother me, but when you reach an age of accountability, then it is time to listen. You need to know why you need a Savior; and what God’s Word can do for you. What God can do for you in your life, is much better than what you are doing now, and you will be a lot happier; knowing that you have been delivered from your sinful nature. Jesus said, And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the TRUTH. Jesus is giving it all because He is going to pay it all. If we can do that, the Church of the living God, before it leaves here, has to be sanctified through the truth. His Word is truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word. I am a part of that. These brothers are a part of that. This is our word, because it is dwelling in us. We have been born of the Spirit of God, therefore it is the same as it was with Jesus when He spoke. It is the same thing with us when we are sincere about the Word of God. God holds us responsible for truth, and you are responsible for the truth that is given to you. That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us; (Why did He say us, if He was the only one? I ask you again, because I want this to sink in; Why did He say us? You can read a chapter and get nothing out of it, or you can study a chapter and God will open up the windows of heaven to you.) that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; (The same glory. Sometimes I see Bro. Kevin over here playing the piano and he is preaching all at the same time while he is singing. I like that. Praise the Lord! Amen! Bro. Bud stands here and gets happy. And the glory which thou gavest me says Jesus, I have given them…) that they may be one, even as we are one. If you go outside of this Word, and sit listening to someone that is trying to put something over on you, that is what it is, trying to put something over on you, and if you receive it you become a fool. I in them, and thou in me, (That is the Holy Ghost. Jesus said, I in them, and thou in me. Is that too hard to understand? Are we making it something that is misunderstood? Or I could say, not understandable? Does a friend of yours have a better message? I have had to walk away from much in this life, because the Word I heard meant something to me. I in them and thou in me…) that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; (Why would He pray like that? Father, I will that they also whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am. Think about that! He is talking about the Millennium, or He can be talking to us right now.) that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, (His whole prayer here is to the Father, not to Himself. He is not the Father. He is still the Son. While He was here He was the Son of Man, because He was also a prophet, but He was the Son of God because God was His Father. Mary conceived by the Holy Ghost, which simply means that the Sovereign Creator, which is also the Holy Ghost, created a cell of life in her womb, and she carried it until he was born into the natural world the same way we were. He was not just His Father in the Holy Ghost, as some have made it to be. If He only became the Son of God when He died, what about all that time before He was crucified? We are sons of God by a spiritual birth, and we have the Holy Ghost in us. He was a Son of God before the Spirit of His Father entered into Him after His baptism by John. If you listen, and allow it, this will wind some of your clocks, I know that.) the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. (I know He did, I know the Father sent Him. This is not a confusing statement that He is making.) And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, (What did He say there? That the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them.) and I in them. Let us go to Luke 23, verses 44 thru 47. And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. (This is when the eclipse happened. Why was the sun eclipsed? They had stripped Jesus of His clothing. God just put darkness upon the earth so they would not see so much.) And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, He said, Father, (Why would He say that if he was God?) into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, He gave up the ghost. Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man. In another place it says, surely this was the Son of God. I want to go to chapter 24 now, verse 46. And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day; And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: (This was a promise of the Father, John chapter 17, that they may be one as we are one.) but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. From there, I want to go to 1st John. I will keep it in line with that, what I have been talking about from the book of John, see what more he has to say, which I will not cover it all. 4th chapter, 1st verse, Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. I guess a false prophet would be no prophet. Now go to the 1st chapter, 1st verse. That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, (Which we have heard from the beginning, he is talking about the message of Jesus, because he (John) was not in the beginning). which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us. Through His Son, I added that, through His Son. I want to get into this and leave no doubt of what I am saying when I am through, so that the critics, if they turn it down, they have turned down (rejected) the Word of God. That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son (Whose Son? Are you going to say that Jesus was His own Son?) cleanseth us from all sin. You cannot have cleansing unless you believe that God was the Father of Jesus Christ, and Jesus was the Son of God. There is no other way you can be clean. I have one more chapter here I want to read from. 2nd John, verse 1, The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever. Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, (How can you make it one? Jesus now sits on the right hand of the Father, which we know pertains to power; because the right hand is power, making intercession for us. Grace be with you, mercy, and peace from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ…) the Son of the Father, in truth and love. (You have to over ride all scripture in order to believe what some of you are believing.) I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. I have a responsibility because I am the pastor here, and I know some of you probably will not tell me how you have gotten word from a certain place that is not teaching this precious truth of God’s Word. What some are teaching is error. Not everyone in that place is believing it, but some do, because they are not grounded in truth. You who are teaching this false doctrine have sent your words here, and it has entered into Faith Assembly. This congregation stands for the truth, but I don’t like what you are doing. If you want to believe that way, go ahead, but keep it away from here: don’t bother us with it. I am not through with this message: because I want to nail the truth down solid. If there is anyone sitting here tonight that does not believe, I am presenting this in an understandable way, let me know what you are having a problem with. I will give you an answer from the Word of God.

JESUS IS NOT GOD

It is good to see everyone this morning. It is good to see the smiles of your face’s and to know that God is so real to us in this hour of time. He is our very hope in this day of trouble and trial, when the nations have turned away and the leadership of this country, as well as others, have gone the way they have, and the stand that they are taking against Israel is so obvious. It is a time of trouble, getting ready for Jacob’s trouble, which I believe is very soon to come. When those two prophets come on the scene there in Israel, it is not going to be a pretty sight for many in Israel. They are going to pronounce judgment upon the nation; for signing a contract with the beast. Remember saints; the beast is not the man, the beast is the government. The man will come in as the head over that government, and that man will be the antichrist. Of course there are those who will say that there is a man of sin and then there is the antichrist, which is not true at all: there is only one man. There has only been one through the centuries of time. That has been the pope of Rome all along; as many will realize after it is too late. There are a lot of things I could get into on that, but I will not at this time. I have something else to talk about this morning. I have scriptures to go into today, and there will be several of them; because I do not want to leave any stone unturned. We are continuing on the subject, Jesus is not God. As I look into this, I am not proud to do what I have to do, but I feel it is necessary. I want to be obedient, but I do not want to be over emphasizing certain things, because I feel like that would probably be wrong. I am going to deal with some things that will make some people very angry. I am not sure that everyone here is going to accept it, because there have been some that have not accepted it before now. It has caused problems, but the problem was already brewing. I was not the one that caused the problem, but the things I have preached in the last four messages, and the one before that, has helped the problem along. When you see something in scripture, you hope people are going to understand. It is just like it was when I was first baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. I thought everybody should see that, but I found out very soon that sometimes you stand alone. I know I will not stand alone on this, but I do feel that this is a time that God is cleaning house. That is because there are certain ideas among many that are not going to go in the rapture. It is just not going to be as some want it to be. If you get mad at me today; because of the things I will say, then you are going to get mad at the Word of God, because what I say will be from the scriptures. That is exactly right. If you do not accept it, then that is your problem, because there have been certain ones that did not accept it, and they are in trouble with God. I am not going to mention any names this morning. When I first announced that I was going to preach on the godhead, back when I was just going to use one message on that, then I did preach on it Thursday night about the same thing. There was someone here in the states, that gets the Contender only, that called and asked me to put something on the godhead in the Contender; because they had found some things that were not right. That is why I did that. At that time, I did not know it was being dealt with under the sound of my voice. I did not know anything about that, then. There were a couple brothers that did know about it, but they had not mentioned it to me yet. Since I did not know anything about it when I started on this, I did not have any motive in my mind because of it, when I did start on it. Since I have been dealing with this subject; then there has been a falling away, a falling out I could say. Today I am going to get into it and really tell you where this has come from, not exactly where it has come from, but where it lies. I found material on this. I went over the book of John the other day; where Jesus was praying to the Father, in the 17th chapter, which is where I left off. He was always praying to the Father, not to Himself. Why would a man pray to himself? Jesus did not create the heavens and the earth: it was the Father. God is the Father of all creation. He is the One that designed the entire thing as He counceled with Himself. He was the One that set it all in motion. There are multitudes of people that want to say it was all done in six days, as we know normal days, but then, how come there are so many things out there still moving in space, that have been moving millions of years. What are you who believe like that, going to do? Are you going to bring all of it into a half day of time? God is God, and He had nobody to plan it for Him. He planned the whole thing without any help whatsoever. He even wrote our names down in the book of life at that time, because He saw with His great foreknowledge who would believe and accept His plan of Salvation in their time. Our name’s were not written down when we were in a revival meeting somewhere. Of course that is what the Pentecostal denomination believes, that your name was even put down in gold letters. Everything with them is gold. They want to preach gold. This is the message they have today, prosperity for all that contribute to them. Wait until the fall comes, which to me is right on the horizon. We are living in the day. When I say the day, I don’t mean today, but I am talking about a few months at the most, when we are going to see a real change. So prepare yourselves. Do not wait until the shock comes because it can come over night. It has come over night before. This nation is not going to get by with what it is doing, with the way things are going. Just be prepared: so that it does not affect us that much. It is going to affect everybody, but be prepared for whatever comes, and have your mind upon the Lord. Let Him lead you in the days that are ahead. Like I said, I have gone over different scriptures in John, showing that Jesus said, I am the Son of God. Some have said He never called Himself the Son of God, but He did, and the scriptures prove it. John chapter 3, John chapter 5, chapter 6. Now I want to go to John chapter 20, and look at another setting. There was an I-phone message sent out with this on it. John 20:24-29. I want to start with this, and I do want every one of you to pay attention. But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. (That is when He came to the rest of the disciples, the other eleven, which was after Mattathias had been added to the number in the place of Judas.) The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into His side, I will not believe. (Many people just have to see it with their natural eyes, because they have not the faith to believe it.) And after eight days, again His disciples were within, and Thomas with then: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith He to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God. (This is the hang up of those who are calling Jesus God, and Thomas made that statement before any of them had ever received the Holy Ghost. You cannot receive a true revelation without the Holy Ghost abiding inside.) Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book. (Now this is John talking, after he had received the Holy Ghost, because this is when he wrote it, not when Jesus was living. This is written by memory.) But theses are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; (Read it all, don’t just pick and choose. The scriptures are not for picking and choosing.) and that believing ye might have life through His name. Thomas made that statement, but Thomas did not have the Holy Ghost. You can make a lot of statements when the Spirit of God is not leading you. These are things that people are holding on to. Thomas was surprised. He did not believe what the others had told him, because he was not there. Jesus was going to prove Himself to Thomas. Then when He did prove Himself to him, Thomas excitedly said, my Lord and my God. People have taken that single event to believe that Jesus is God, when there are dozens of places that say Jesus was the Son of God. However you must understand that Thomas did not have the Holy Ghost to give him a revelation, because the Holy Ghost had not yet been given. Thomas was a man, a suddenly surprised man. He did not know what to do with what he had just seen. He just spake the first thing that came to his mind, but that does not mean he was right. The sad thing now, is that there are people who have heard the truth preached and taught for years; that are trying to teach the godhead without the Holy Ghost. I may just as well be plain about it. There are things I will leave out because I do not want anyone to think I am a know-it-all, or that I have some kind of preeminence on the scripture. The thing about it is this: I believe the message I see and understand; and I have it as a revelation that cannot be compromised. I walk in that truth, because here we are, fifty one years beyond those things that have been said. Now certain people want to go back and pull out things that they themselves do not understand, and try to teach them as a revelation. Before I came in here this morning, I felt checked on how much I should say, but I have to say enough to let you know some things that are going on. Some have taken this Bible, they have taken a Bible, not their Bible, but a Bible, because they do not believe that anymore. They have held that up in one hand, and held the Spoken Word Book up in their other hand, and then throw the Bible down and say, This is my Bible. As I said the other day; what they have said about Bro. William Branham, that everything he preached after 1963 or anything he said, was thus saith the Lord. That is just human ideas. Somebody said to a man that was saying that, what if Bro. William Branham said to his wife, go get me a drink of water? He replied; That is thus saith the Lord. They all held on to that 1977 prediction, and I remember when Bro. Jackson and some others were down here at King’s Table one time. A certain man was talking about 1977 and said, Bro. Jackson, what about 1977, we have not come there yet, but it was already 1981. See? They don’t want to let things go. When we get so dogmatic about certain things, that we cannot hear truth, we have missed the mark. The message I want to talk to you about this morning, I was there when it was preached in 1964. It was just four minutes short of being three hours long. I began to wonder after that message was preached, what is the difference in us and the Jesus only people? I did not do anything about it, I did not say anything about it to anyone. I remember though, that when Bro. Larry Wells started coming here in 1968 and was baptized, we were standing outside here with Bro. Jackson, and it was mentioned about the godhead. Bro. Wells said, well I sure don’t see three Gods, I can maybe see two individuals, but not three. As I say that, that might not be the exact words, but I want to say it so that you can understand it, which would be God and His Son Jesus Christ. Bro. Jackson was listening, I guess he had pondered this a long time in his mind. Right after that he preached on the godhead. I never doubted the message. I believed it because it answered it for me, the question, to where it gave me enlightenment to what part Jesus had in it. I remember this was the time he took the glass of water and said I can take this glass and dip it in the ocean. I will then have every part that is in the ocean in it the glass. I will have it in this glass, but I will not have the whole ocean. He said he was likening that to Jesus Christ, in whom was the godhead bodily, but He was not God. He was not the Creator. There is always an answer if we listen. I heard of this message that was preached in 1964; I was there, The Unveiling of God. This is what got some people all stirred up, because they have gone back there and taken that message and made Jesus to be God. I found it, I looked it up, I listened to it. It is both vocal and written out, written in verses just like the Bible is, on the Internet. I am going to read to you some of the things that were said by Bro. William Branham in 1964. I am not going to condemn Bro. William Branham because he was the messenger for the age, but there were things said: You will just have to listen to it yourselves. I have some excerpts, and there are plenty more, down to 113, which is as far as I went, skipping certain ones, but there are 380 and some, what you would call verses. This is the title of the message, The Unveiling of God. I am just taking part out of each verse because they were too long, but I did not do that to to where I would make a mistake in the message. Number 31. The eleven knew that He (talking about Jesus) was God, and God alone. Verse 49, Jehovah of the Old Testament is Jesus of the New Testament. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, God changed himself, changes His form in each one. He came as Father, then He came as Son, then He came as Holy Ghost. The same person. This is not what I believe, but many are believing it, so I have got to do this in order to show some; that somebody is wrong. Verse 55, He changed His mask. He likened it to Shakespeare. He said, in Shakespeare, one man will do different parts, but it is always the same man. God changed His mask. Then it said, He was the Son of Man, Son God, will be the Son of David. He was the Son of Man while He was on earth, because that means prophet, but then when He comes back in the Holy Ghost, He is the Son of God. This is what he said. Then when He rules, He will be the Son of David. Son of Man, prophet, Son of God, in the Holy Ghost, when He came back to live in the hearts and lives of His children. Number 61, he says Jesus never called Himself the Son of God,but I just went over that last Sunday, showing that He always called Himself Son of Man in His ministering to the people, because He was a prophet on the earth, but then, when He came back in the Holy Ghost: He was the Son of God. That is what it said. We know that Jesus called Himself the Son of God, because He was the Son of God. If you believe the Bible, that is undisputable, because God was His Father, simply because Mary had a seed of life implanted in her womb by the Holy Ghost, which was none other than God Himself. Jesus has always been the Son of God, simply because the virgin Mary became with child by the Holy Ghost, which is God, the great Creator of all things. He was the Son of God from the very beginning, because the Bible said the Holy Ghost would overshadow Mary and she would conceive and bring forth a Son. That made Him the Son of God. He did not have two fathers. He was the Son of God, Son of the Holy Ghost, and all true believers know that God the Creator of all things is the Holy Ghost, and that the Holy Ghost is God. Then the Holy Ghost came to dwell in His Son Jesus with all the fullness of His attributes, like the glass of water I mentioned. We are now sons and daughters of God by the Holy Ghost that also dwells in us, but we do not have the fullness of His attributes like His only begotten Son has. Looking back at the Brother branham message, Number 69, it says, Then after the Holy Spirit came, He was then the Son of God. What does He do now? He returns as Son of Man. That came from Luke 17:30, in the end time, the Son of Man, which means as a prophet. Number 78, of that message says, All the Godhead bodily was in this person Jesus Christ. He was God and God alone. Brothers and sisters: I am not doing this to try to tear down the man God used in such a wonderful way, but this false teaching by these others had to be corrected. Number 79 says, Elohim was made flesh, and we handled Him. Elohim was never flesh. God is a Spirit. No man has ever seen God with natural vision, or touched Him with human hands, because a spirit cannot be seen or touched. That also says, The great Jehovah that covered all space, time and everywhere, was made man. He was not made man Himself, but He made man; when He spoke the seed of life into the virgin Mary and she brought forth a Son of the One that planted the seed of life in her. I can go all the way through this message: the unveiling of God, and find all those statements; but surely any true son or daughter of God has heard enough to get them on the right track spiritually speaking. The Greeks wanted to see God, when they came to the disciple Philip, and said, we would see Jesus. But he said, they came to see God, and they see a Man. They could not see God, because God was veiled to them. God was veiled in a Man. This is the last one I am going to read, 113. There was their God hanging on Calvary, and they were too blind to see it. That is the last one I am going to read. This is what certain ones have gotten hung up on and a certain man that has been teaching this, which Bro. William Branham said, I say, if you are not called to peach, stay out of the pulpit. That is where this kind of trouble is started. It is somebody just like Bro. David North prophesied about, and I will not say any more about that; if you know what I mean. I want to go to the scriptures now. I did not have this copied down, but I am going to go to it anyhow It is John 14. Listen to the scripture. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. I will say this now, if you are hung up on this thing of Jesus being God, you better get away from it. Jesus is the object of worship. He is Lord. I worship Him as my Lord, but I do not worship Him as my God. I do not pray to Him as my God either. I pray to God, my heavenly Father, which art in heaven. In my Father’s house (He just as well say He is the Son of God in such a statement.) are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. The denominational world has Jesus up there building mansions, golden streets and all such. When He was on the cross, He said, it is finished, and it was finished. It is already there. All your inheritance is already there. All you have to do is occupy until He comes again. Jesus has not been up there building anything. That would take Him off His mediatorial throne, because He has been there mediating for you and I and for all true believers down through the ages. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto Him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, (He knew He was going to die. He knew there was only one way, and that it is through Him; because of His blood being shed. I want to do my best to straighten these things out; so that you nor I come up short by not knowing who we worship, or how we worship. Jesus said, I am come in my Father’s name; but that is not Jehovah. Jesus was given that name by the Father, because He was the only begotten, and I want you to understand this for sure: He was not the only son of God: He is the only begotten Son of God. We were not begotten sons of God. We were begotten by our human parents, but Jesus had no earthly father or mother. You might say; He called Mary His mother. Well she was the one that served more or less as, I do not really want to say an incubator, but as a surrogate. That is because the cell of life that was placed in Mary was from God, and God alone. How did He do it? He is the Creator you know. Jesus is not a creator. He did say, I am the way…) the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, (Who is He talking about? He is talking about His ineFather, the Creator of all things.) but by me. It all has to come through Him; because the blood that was shed was a replacement for the animal blood, which could not take away sin, but His blood covers our sins. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him. Seen Him how? You have seen the works that He did through His Son. When God sent a messenger to this age, there was healing that took place, but it was not Bro. William Branham; just like it was not Paul, it was not Peter, it was not James or John doing the healing. They were everyone just working in obedience to the Father. Even when Peter walked down the street and people were healed when his shadow passed over them, it was because their faith had been built up to the point that they needed something to be able to look at to consummate their belief. Whenever they had that experience of Peter’s shadow passing over them; they accepted their healing, but the healing came from God. That is why it could be said; when you have seen Jesus you have seen the Father, He Himself said to Phillip, John 14:9, Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? In all those miracles you have seen the Father. You have seen the Father’s work. I do nothing except my Father show me. It is the Father in me, He said, doing the work. That is speaking of the Holy Ghost, the Father in Him. Jesus saith unto him, have I been so long time with you, and yet has thou not know me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? I don’t seehow anyone can miss that; because the Father is the invisible one to the human eye, in Jesus, doing the work. Let us go back to the 11th chapter of John. Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick. Therefore his sisters sent unto Jesus, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. When Jesus heard that, He said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God (the Son of God, He was both Son of Man and Son of God while He was here on earth in bodily form. He was Son of Man when He was prophesying. That was His office, go back to what is mentioned in Daniel, but it is mentioned often in Ezekiel, Son of Man, which means prophet. That the Son of God…) might be glorified thereby. Go back to the 15th chapter. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. That is not the same office. The husbandman is the one that is over the vineyard. He is the owner. But Jesus has likened Himself to a vine, and by Him likening Himself unto a vine, it is we the believers that bear the fruit. The vine does not bear the fruit, but the life comes up through the vine and goes into the branches. We are the branches off of that. That is why it said that He purges. If we don’t believe truth, then He purges. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit He taketh away: (He who, takes it away? He is not saying I take it away. The husbandman, He takes it away.) and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing. I want to go from there to 1st John 2:18-24. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, (Let that soak in a little bit. If we are teaching something contrary to the Word of God, then that makes us antichrist, anti-Word, antichrist.) even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. There are people right now standing on the brink of that. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Those are strong words, but I did not write them: I am just following instructions. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. How are you going to leave one off? You cannot do it if you are a true son or daughter of God. What this is, is taking the Word of God and making it less important than a message you have heard somewhere. God allowed these circumstances, because all of it causes people to have to make a choice: whether they will follow the WORD of God, or a statement of someone they respect. As Joshua said, choose you this day who you will serve. You have a choice, I have a choice. I want to make the right choice. I do not want to let somebody else’s influence guide me: I want what I believe to guide me, because what I believe came from the Word of God. I am not going to let it slip away just to please someone who feels like he is the only one that knows anything. 1st John 3, verse 1, saysthis, Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure. By having this hope in us, the hope that is in us makes us pure as God is pure. Jesus, in St. John 17, tells the disciples, now you are sanctified by the Word. God don’t even remember our past. If we have surrendered our life to Him, we have been born again, walking in the Spirit of God, and our past life is not even remembered: It will never be brought up for any reason. If we would judge ourselves, we shall not be judged. That is what I want out of this message, for us to judge truth, and then we will be able to judge ourselves by the truth. If you listen to this false doctrine from anyone, regardless of whether they are your friends, loved ones, or whoever; if you listen to it, you are a part of it. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin. (That of course, is speaking of Jesus.) Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. (He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.) For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. It don’t register with everyone, but if we make a mistake, we admit it, repent and ask forgiveness and it is forgiven. It is put in His forgetfulness. God will never bring it up. Praise God! He forgets our sin and we are made righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. Let us go to chapter 4, starting with verse 1. Beloved, believe not every spirit, (There are spirits motivating men, but he is saying, beloved, child of God, son and daughter of God. If you know more about this than I do, have at it, but his first words are, believe not every spirit…) but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. (Why don’t he just come out and say every spirit is of God? Because every religious spirit is not of God. Religious spirits are the ones that cause problems; because they are of the devil: make believers ) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. Are we trusting in that? Are we letting the Spirit of God lead us? They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. The thing about it is, if we don’t believe God’s Word, we do not love God. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son (But it was God that sent Him. These that are causing this uproar, are saying God sent Himself? What they are actually saying, is that the Sovereign Creator of all things, actually became a little baby. Some Christmas song they sing, is (when Mary touched the face of Jesus, she touched the face of God.) That is sick. People that are ready to believe just anything; just fall all over that; tears run down their face. I have seen it. Well we know God sent His only begotten Son…) into the world, that we might live through Him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. If this is not getting through to you, I don’t know what would. I just don’t understand you who believe such as we have been talking about. It is just that you think you know it all, and you don’t want to listen to anyone else. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. (He is a Spirit: No man hath seen God ever, but you have seen His works, you have seen the creation. You can see Jesus Christ when He was on the earth, but you were not seeing God unless you were seeing the works of God in Him. I say that again, my father works, I work hitherto, I do nothing without the Father showing me.) If we love one another, (That is not talking about phileo love, like loving your son or daughter, husband or wife, but that is the love of God, agape love, that is inside you, that He places in there; the kind of love that hears and sees things and other people the way God sees and loves. That will not let you believe anything but truth.) God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and He in us, because He hath given us of His Spirit. Let us read one more scripture in 1st John, then I will close for this morning. Go to the next chapter. It just keeps on going, there is no end to it. He keeps the subject as he goes. How can anyone miss that? Go to Chapter 5, Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: (That is not a make believe, that is a real belief.) and every one that loveth Him that begat loveth Him also that is begotten of Him. You do not only love Him, but you love Him who was begotten of Him. We are brothers and sisters, not foreigners. We are closer than any brother or sister we have on this earth, unless they are a blood bought brother or sister. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous. I hate to do that, I will do that, but I hate to do it. That is not the right attitude. We love Him because He first loved us. Oh the love of God, how rich, how pure, how measureless and strong. It shall forevermore endure, the saints and angels song. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: (The world is our footstool, we have overcome it. I do not want to partake of the things the world has to offer us. ) and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? That is as plain as is necessary for those who are true believers of the written Wordof God.
