We praise the Lord for His wonderful goodness, for the things He has provided for us in the hour we are living in. I am continuing on this subject; . I have been on. because of the great interest that saints have expressed to me since I started on it. The response has been great. I thank the Lord for what He gives us to go by. I am going to start with the new chapters and verses that have been added to the chart: the others you already have. I think I will start with John, chapter 3, today: this is familiar. I feel I have something in this that needs to be in the heart’s of God’s elect because we read about the new birth sometimes, but we do not usually read into its depth. As Jesus talked to Nicodemus, He was telling him something that is a revelation. Of course the revelation of baptism is there, but there is another revelation inside it, that I want to get to this morning. I want to nail it down to the point that we have the understanding of it to the point that it will not be a mystery to us any more. If we do not have an understanding of something, then it is a mystery to us. God did not write this book, or have His book written for it to be a mystery to the bride saints. We praise the Lord for that. The scripture says in Zechariah, there will be a day come when it will be neither dark nor light, but in the evening time there shall be light. We sing the song, it shall be light in the evening time. We know that is happening even now, as Bro. Turner mentioned this morning about Israel. I don’t know how far this thing is going to go, but it is not going to keep happening. I know they are talking about negotiated peace, but you have a bunch of Gentile nations going to negotiate it. What does Russia, and China have to do with that, and what does the United States have to do with Israel? Why don’t we just mind our own business? We certainly have plenty here to mind, and we do not even have those who know how to take care of that, but Israel has already said, as long as they keep bombing us, this thing is going to go on. I totally agree with that. I agree with it a hundred percent. Don’t just slap somebody around for a little while, and then quit. This thing has gone on too long, much too long. Hamas does not care how many of their own people they kill. Now they are accusing Israel of bombing a place where invalids and people like that live. Well, quit putting your bombs there where they are. Quit putting your bombs in the hospitals, and in old folks homes, in school houses, in peoples residences if you are concerned about protecting them. If you are not cowards, I say come out and fight fair, but the fact is, you are cowards. You care little for your own people. Now let us listen to what Jesus has to say here. Here is a man that no doubt is embarrassed or afraid, because even today, if you are an orthodox Jew, you don’t have anything to do with people changing to Christianity. That is why Nicodemus came to Him by night, he was afraid; afraid that he would be ostracized. It more or less was a sneak thing, but Jesus is not going to pay any attention to that. He is going to expose the man to what is coming. This is not a lesson that had been preached. This is the first time anybody has ever heard about it, because this is the first message that Jesus has peached after the marriage in Cana of Galilee; which we find in the 2nd chapter.  So here we are, this is the very beginning of His ministry. But Jesus has already experienced the Holy Ghost. Jesus was not born with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost, you might say as the scripture says, the Holy Ghost shall overshadow Mary and you will have a child and His name will be called Jesus. So who is Jesus’ father? no one other than the Holy Ghost, or to make it plain; God the great Creator. Both the Holy Ghost and God the great Creator are the same. You cannot separate God from His Spirit; because He is that SPIRIT. It was, and is the way He worked, and still works, that many people who profess to be Christians do not understand. The Holy Ghost is something you receive as a true believer: that other people do not have or understand; because they cannot see Him. When God spoke to Paul; when he was riding to Damascus to persecute Christians, nobody else got the message. The rest of them felt something. That made me think of something, the rest of them felt something, they felt the fire, but they did not receive the Holy Ghost. Is that not just like something that you have seen in this hour? Oh, I have had a great experience. I have to say to that; did it lead you into truth? The Spirit of God will lead you into all truth, You will not back up, when you see something that is true. Otherwise, you have just been rained on, because it said He would rain on the evil and the good, the just and the unjust. The thing about it is, with those that are just, it means that they have received something that they cherish more than life itself.. There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. The same came to Jesus by night, (That is what I said awhile ago, he did not want to be seen by the other Jews. The message had convicted him, he had been convinced that there was something right, but he was not convinced to the point that he was going to let it throw him out of the church. The thing about it is, when you are convinced to that point, there is nothing that will hold you, Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, we have them all in here who have come from those places. We have become brothers and sisters of a family that loves the truth of God’s Word.) and said unto Him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: (That sounds good. So for, so good.) for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. He is telling about something he has heard, or something he has seen on the fringes, when something took place of a miraculous nature. He knows about it. He knows about the miracles. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, (or truly, truly) I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. What is He talking about there? Except he is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God, He is not talking about something in the future, He is talking about something right now. You cannot see it, you cannot understand it. You have to be in the family of God in order to partake of these heavenly things. Do you get that? Seeing is understanding. It is kind of like something clicks in your brain, now I get it, now I see, now I understand. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? (He does not understand it, none of the disciples understand it. Jesus is not explaining it because it is not yet fully time for that.. He is telling Nicodemus something that cannot happen yet; at that time. But he is putting something not only in Nicodemus’ mind, but he is putting something in the twelve disciples’ mind’s also.) Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. What is He saying there? He can not be a part of the kingdom of God without a new birth. This may worry some, but I said last Sunday and I say again this morning, if you have repented of your sins and have accepted Jesus Christ in water baptism in His name, then you are a candidate for the Holy Ghost. You have already been forgiven of all your sins, but you must seek and receive the Holy Ghost in order to be able to live a holy and righteous life. Let us not make the grace of God a cheap thing. You have taken on His name, the thing now is to make sure that you have that experience of receiving the Holy Ghost, which is available to all who have met the other two requirements. I am not saying how you will feel: no. I am not saying you will jump. I don’t know what happened on the day of Pentecost to two or three thousand who received the Spirit of God. The Bible said there were added three thousand unto them. I am sure that all of them did not have the same experience, but I would say this, there is no getting around the Bible principals, or requirements to make it into God’s perfect will. I will say this: There is no way you can take a short cut. I say unto thee, except a man be born of the water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter (See?) cannot enter the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is within you. You cannot enter that kingdom realm, that is where revelation comes into the picture. Jesus is not talking about somewhere you will enter into heaven. He is talking about entering into the body of Christ. If you have the Holy Ghost, you already have the down payment. You have got your ticket. I am not talking about somebody that has just been rained on. I am talking about somebody that has experienced the Spirit of God coming into their life, because Jesus said that Spirit of God would lead you into all truth. Then He will guide you. That is what we are talking about, when we are talking about the gifts. The gifts are perfect. God is expecting perfection out of us. You might say, oh, nobody can be perfect. Don’t tell me that. Paul said, to all that are perfect. People get upset when you say something about somebody being a saint of God. You are just upset at Paul. Now are we the sons of God. Not just sons only, we are children of God, that includes man and woman. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; (That fleshly mind will never get you there. I talked to a man one time when I lived in Burkesville. Many of you here, your roots are from Burkesville. He was an older man. I talked to him about the Lord. He began to say, well, I am a good man: I have never done anything that I have to worry about, and on like that. I told my neighbor about it. He said the reason is; he is too old. People think that goodness will get you somewhere with God, but goodness is not a ticket into the Family of God.) and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Walk in the spirit and you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. You shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. God is a keeper. Jesus said, all that the Father hath given me will come to me, and all that comes to me, I will in no wise cast out. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. He is telling him, don’t marvel about it, don’t get hung up on thoughts of the natural mind. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. You don’t plan it ahead of the time it comes. The Bible says seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. These are scriptures that came to me this morning. Let us go to Luke 24. Jesus is resurrected already. That old saying that people say, well I would rather believe Jesus, than believe what Peter said. Let us see what Jesus said. You will find out how close Peter was; he was not off at all. Verse 44, And He said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, (This He did, the Law has no more affect, He took care of that.) and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened He their understanding, (I can just see it, a smile comes over their face. Light comes in. What you have been saying all along; you now see it. There is nothing worse than not being able to understand something that is simple.) that they might understand the scriptures. Here it had been closed, but then there came light to them. As long as it is like this, there is no light that can get in there, but when it began to open up, the light began to shine in. When the light begins to shine in, then understanding comes. And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day; And that repentance and remission of sins (How are sins remitted? Through water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Repentance is getting that old man out of the way. That old man speaks of that sinful, sinning nature you were born with. We all were born in sin, shaped in iniquity and came forth speaking lies. God could have looked at us and said; you little liars: when we were first born, but I will take care of it. No child wants to be wrong. Let me go over that again, He said unto them, thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins…) should be preached in His name among all nations; beginning at Jerusalem. Peter fulfilled that completely, beginning at Jerusalem. Where do you think they were when the Holy Ghost came on them? You were there: when we were on the Israel tour. It may not be the same upper room, but it was probably built on top of that one. Anyway it is a replica of the upper room where the believers first received the Holy Ghost. There they were: gathered together for fear of what could, or would happen. They were tarrying at Jerusalem like Jesus Had told them, praying, not knowing what to expect, but they are waiting, they have been waiting for many days for something to happen; because they were told that something would happen. He said you will be baptized with the Holy Ghost and with fire, not two different Holy Ghosts. The fire just burns out all the old sinful nature of mortal man, and puts you on the altar. That is what happened when they killed those sacrifices, they had to burn them with fire. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. Don’t jump the gun, just wait. When Jesus was speaking to them. He opened their understanding, but that did not O.K. them to preach. They still had to go to that upper room to get that experience. Let us see what He said in Matthew 28:19. I want these things to be in your mind and in your heart. I can just hear some old farmer saying, bless God; it was good enough for my mom and dad so it is good enough for me. That was true: concerning believers that lived according to what they were taught back then: because they did not have an understanding like we do now; but it is not good enough for anyone now, because we have been given understanding. Some may say: Well I have sat here for twenty years, but I don’t understand it. I just have to say to such a person; Open your ears, open your eyes, and repent of that old nature you were born with. I will start in verse 18. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Now He is talking about what God has allotted to Him. He is not saying that He is God. He said, all power is given unto me. That power had to come from some other source; for it to be GIVEN to Him, and that source was God, His Father. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. This is where the revelation came to me: when I heard, in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Father is not a name. Holy Ghost is not a name. Son is not a name: They are all titles. Bro. William Branham explained it this way, go to the bank and sign your name Son, and see if you get any money. Sign it Father and see if you get anything. Sign it Holy Ghost and see if you get anything. Sign your own name, and if you have money in the bank, you will get the money. He did not say names. That is where the revelation lies. He said, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Jesus said, I am come in my Fathers name. Are you understanding this? It is imperative, that you do! In the 24th chapter of the book of Luke, it says He opened their understanding. On the day of Pentecost; when they all stood together, those twelve apostles stood together, and Peter began to speak. Do you think he got up and did not know what to say? Let us go to Acts 2, verse 37. He preached a message to them and it has brought conviction. You must be convicted of the fact that you are a sinner, or you will go into the water a dry sinner and come out of the water a wet sinner. Salvation includes more than just being plunged under the water. You must be convinced that this truth is right, and be convinced that baptism in the name of Jesus Christ is the only way of deliverance from your sinful life of unbelief, or you will see no change. I cannot make it any plainer than what I am making it this morning. I hope none of you say in your heart, well that is not plain enough. I am not looking down the road to your great, great grandfather and say that they did not go to heaven. No, not at all, because they did not have the understanding, the true revelation of the scriptures; because they were living in another age and obeyed from their heart: what they were taught. We are living in the end time; after a true revelation of God’s Word has been preached and published. It says there shall be light in the evening time: We are in the evening time. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, (Convicted. Have you sat in this church for years, and never felt anything? Never even feel conviction?) and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Men and brethren, what shall we do? That is what some ought to be asking in this hour oft time. I am telling you this morning; if you have repented, and if you have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; you must now seek the Holy Ghost. Romans 8:9 says this, Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. That says man, but it applies to male and female. You do not have to be baptized again, you have already repented of your sins. As I said, let us not make the grace of God cheap thing. Receiving the Holy Ghost is what gives us eternal security. That is why the apostle Paul could write in His message to the Romans, chapter 8,verse 1, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. The Bible says, go on to perfection. I say that to young people, before you look too far for a mate, look to God first, and let Him lead you to a Christian mate that is walking in the truth. Otherwise, you are looking for trouble. When Bro. William Branham was out west, he was a cowboy. He worked for an old farmer. When he was culling the cattle, he would look right in their eyes. Do you know why he did that? Sometimes when he was looking in their eyes, the prettiest heifer calf he saw, he would reject. Do you know why? Bro. William Branham said; that is a beautiful animal, but said, you have to look at that stare in their eyes, that wildness in their eyes, and not their outward beauty. What you can see, lets you know whether that calf is going to make a good mother or not, but that other one will never raise her young. We have had people marry, that never should have gotten married. Somebody is going to pull somebody away from the truth. If they will not surrender themselves to follow the truth of God’s Word, you had better forget them. The Bible says, Can two walk together except they be agreed? That applies to marriage mates, as well as in the congregation. There must come a time when we realize it, if we are falling away from the truth. When those Jews asked Peter, what can we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, (They had done confessed, but they were pricked in their hearts. He said repent. This was his portion. ) and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (Then he did not have anything to do with the rest of what took place after he finished that statement which was…) and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. He was not just talking to one, he was not just talking to two; He said, every one of you. I am not trying to get people to come to the altar this morning, I am trying to get us as individuals to go on into perfection. I know this is not my type of message, but I have to preach it. Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins. We can take them to the grave, but you have to do the repenting. Don’t say, I am a good person. Don’t say, I have a big future ahead. Every one of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and then receive the Holy Ghost. That is what Jesus was talking about in Luke 24, that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name, beginning at Jerusalem. Here we are at Jerusalem. Here this morning, we stand with Peter. Preach it brother Peter, we will receive it and we will accept it, and we will repeat it. Here is the promise. Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. I cannot make it any plainer than that. Bro. Wells and I were going to talk to a man one time; over at Ford Motors, we did not know he was setting a trap for us. We went to his house, because conviction had fallen on different ones after Bro. Wells surrendered his life to the Lord in 1968. We went to the man’s house: he had come from the Church of Christ church, he had a lying deacon with him, and he lied to us; which is the reason I say that. He said he just happened to come in. He had a suit of clothes on and his Bible and everything ready for us. We asked the fellow the next day, did he just come in? He said no, it was planned. Of course they think the Holy Ghost people did not really receive the Holy Ghost after Pentecost. That was their problem. I told the man, the Bible says to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. He said, that is not the Holy Ghost, that is the gift. When you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, you have the Holy Ghost. The gift of the Holy Ghost is eternal life which we receive when we receive the Holy Ghost. That is why you have eternal life, but this man said, you just receive the gift, you don’t receive the Holy Ghost. Well, I guess when Peter preached, they did not receive it either, they just got the gift: according to that man. I just have to say this: Whatever they got, when they got the gift: we need it, and must have it. We know it is the same thing; the gift did not run out. Your old car may run out of gas today, if you have not filled it up lately, but you will never have to fear that the Holy Ghost will run out. The Holy Ghost is that living water; a living experience. Is this hard to understand? Ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, (talking about them that were there that day) and to your children, and to all that are afar off, (Do you believe that? ) even as many as the Lord our God shall call. That does not leave anyone out, that He has called. There are certain things we can do: We can spurn the Holy Ghost until He just leaves us alone, because it says in the 6th chapter of Genesis, my Spirit shall not always strive with man because He is flesh. I went over in chapter 22 of Matthew last week. In Luke 13, I saw something that matched up with Matthew 22. There were present at that season some that told Him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that the Galileans were sinners above all the Galileans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: (No) but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower of Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Here is the man concerning the fig tree. He came and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? Why is it taking up space just to be a tree fruitless ? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. This is talking about the Israeli nation, for three years they had listened. The fourth year, if it don’t grow, cut it down. It is not always going to be as it is this morning, with some people. Verses 22 through 30. And He went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And He said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: (Strait is water. Straight is a straight way. Strait is water that links two bodies, which speaks of water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Strive to enter in at the strait gate…) for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able to. They are going another direction, another way, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I am a Methodist. I am a Baptist. I am a Presbyterian. God does not give two shakes of a sheep’s tail for that, (that is an old country saying). When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are. What a shame to have our opportunity and to mess up, by turning it down. That is awful to think of. I know not where you are. Remember; as I am saying this, don’t forget what I have said before; because, if you have repented and been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and you do not have the Holy Ghost, you need to seek the Holy Ghost. Give up a few meals and pray; ask God for His Spirit. He is true to His promise. All that come to the Father, I will in no wise cast out. When the master of the house is risen up and shut the door, and ye begin to stand without, just like in the flood of Noah’s hour of time. I wonder how many people ganged around that ark wanting in when the rain started falling, and the water kept rising? They begin to knock and bang upon the door and say, let us in, but their opportunity had passed. It will be the same with anyone of this hour of time that waits too long. You will say, Lord, Lord open to us also, but He will answer and say unto you, I know you not. Do you see this? They did not recognize the provision, they did not recognize the gift. What He is saying is, it is a free gift. It is absolutely a free gift, but has been spurned. Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. Don’t hold your goodness up before Him. It is iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. I want to go back to chapter 22 of Matthew again. Verse 2. The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. He is talking about the Jewish nation here. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise; (What is on your mind today?) And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city, (That was Jerusalem in 70 A.D.) Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. (Listen to what he said.) So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests. See? He did not just go to the good people, He went to the bad and the good people. By the time He got through with them, they were not bad people. They would not have been sitting in that guest chamber as they were. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, (Friend, that means he had been around. It is not just good enough to be friends with somebody. We have to make our own way to the cross. Nobody else can do it for you. He said unto him, Friend…) how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Friend, do something.) For many are called, but few are chosen. My message this morning is repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. That is not a mistake. That is a fact. I could say it this way, I offer you Jesus Christ, because what did He say? His servants would bind that man hand and foot.

THE GIFTS AND CALLING OF GOD ARE WITHOUT REPENTANCE

7-13-14 PM

I want to get this message finished. You might ask, what are you going to start on next? I have no idea. I am blank on that, but I have to look at it knowing that God will provide. We must praise Him for His wonderful grace. I went over the scriptures I had this morning; except Revelation 20:11-15. I will go into some others that I have not used, but I may have used some. I know there are some good scriptures that I have not touched on yet. Of course; they are all good, but I am talking about those concerning this message. Here in verse 11 of the 20th chapter it says, And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. He is talking about what has been done by man. He is not talking about getting rid of heaven, he is not talking about getting rid of earth, but he is talking about the works of man here, that has compiled the sin that lays upon this earth. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Now you have books, and you have a book, but in this book you see no judgment, because these have already passed from death unto life. Then in the books, is found the deeds of mankind. That is why it is so important for us to have our deeds in a way that God can recognize it here on this earth. On over here, it is too late, because there is no more chance to get it right: because there is no such thing as purgatory. Someone told me the other day; that they came up with something that the Vatican wanted to hide: there are nine hundred and twenty, I think it is, homosexuals in Vatican city, among the hierarchy. I can believe that. This was supposed to have been on KET. And also it talked about the riches, which was outstanding. I heard Bro. Jackson talk about that one time, because he had the privilege to go there. The Bible talks about the riches of the church world in Revelation chapter 3, where it said I would that you were cold or hot, because you are neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth. In other words, He would vomit them out of His mouth. Because of that, He said, you say you are rich. I never saw so much begging. I looked at a list one time on the internet, of the preachers who had been indicted, or who were up for indictment. It was a list that went on and on. Most of them, if you turn on the television, their name is on that list. Who wants to listen to anything like that? What do they have for us: a people who loves a true revelation of the Word of God? It is a free gift, but it is not for them. The dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works, the books of their deeds. I was asked the question this morning: do you want to leave the water in the baptismal pool or let it out? I told them to leave it in until tonight. I want to give everybody a chance to say yes to the Lord. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. The opportunity is gone for repentance then. Let me say to you: I sat here tonight, as the singing was going on, and my heart felt heavy. It was because I don’t want anyone to miss it. Bro. David North gave a wonderful testimony here three weeks ago on Sunday morning. Then on Tuesday morning he went out to eat with Bro. Matt Toole: He came home to rest, no doubt, but then the Lord took him home. I believe that with all my heart; the Lord took him home. Death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life. There is no mistake there. I cannot make something out of it that is not there. No man writes their name in those books; good or bad. Some may put their name on a church book, but they cannot put their name on that book of life, because it had to be there from the foundation of the world. I am talking from my heart tonight, because I don’t want anyone to miss it. I went over to see Bro. Tim Polston: who was baptized last week. I did not talk long with him. I said, I did not come to preach to you, but I did tell him God was giving him an opportunity. He did not tell me he was going to come Sunday and be baptized, but I left him with tears in his eyes. He had a tender heart. That is what it takes for God to touch a person; a tender heart, and a willingness to surrender to God when He is dealing with you. When you look at it on this side, it looks hard. If you are in the world, it looks hard, but when you enter into it on this side, it is the happiest life there is. The devil points to this side, now look what all you are going to have to give up! When you truly surrender to God; you do not have to give up anything: He takes away the desire for all those sinful habits of the past. What I gave up was not worth having anyway. I had excuses not to go to church, because I liked cowboy shows. They came on every Sunday morning. I am telling you the truth saints: I don’t have anything against cowboys even today; if it is the old time ones. I have no desire to see any of this modern stuff. I saw them advertise something about outer space cowboys, or something, and I just let them fly on by. I have a greater zeal tonight than anything like that can satisfy. The Bible tells me that we press into it. There is pressure that goes along with it, but it is a good pressure, because you know when you enter into something, that He is going to see you through. Either that, or take you home. You might not want to think about that, but Paul did. Paul said, for me to die is gain, but to live is for your benefit. I am not promoting death, because God is going to have a live Church when He comes. He is going to have a living body. One of these days we are going to get so close, He is just going to take us on home. Let us go to Galatians 5:16. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: (See? There is a warfare in there. That is why Ephesians 4 tells us to take the whole armor of God.) and these are contrary the one to the other: (the fleshly desires and the desires of the Spirit) so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. In other words, you cannot do the things you would when you were trying to satisfy the desires of the flesh. The scripture says when you walk in the Spirit, then you are not in the flesh. That is the good part. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness. To me those are dirty words, there is nothing beautiful about them. Who wants to walk in filth like that? Who wants to walk in a way that separates us from a righteous God that has shone mercy and grace to us? Who wants to hear the dirtiness of the world? Almost every commercial on TV is something you would strive not to have any part of. Even if they don’t show anything, they are still talking about it. They don’t have to show nakedness, they just blurt it out and they expect you to like it. I hate to even talk like this tonight, I hate to say it, because I feel I am among saints that have nothing to do with the filthy talk and filthy habits of the world. The devil is shrewd; so in case he has hoodwinked somebody, and got them into the filth of the internet: I say, Get away from it! Don’t let the devil put things like that over you. Maybe you think I should not talk like that, but I have a great desire and a feeling of urgency; to see all the family of God free from all that mess. If God gives us one more chance to be faithful to His Word; let us take that chance and be true to Him. I just read to you out of Revelation 20 awhile ago, about the things that are going on now, and how God is going to take care of this world. Even in the atmosphere that is around us, it is polluted. Not the pollution the government talks about, because they are trying to make a clean world for us to live in, when it will never happen until the Millennium. They talk about global warming. Bro. Jackson said one time, maybe God is just warming it up for the Millennium. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, reveling, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. He had already warned them before He said, as I have told you. Brothers and sisters, these are not good bedfellows. I have no intention of stopping at that; because there is a stop to all of this as we go into the next verses, so notice what it says. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, (What did we talk about in 1st Corinthians, the 13th chapter? Last Sunday I said that is the meat that goes between the bread. The fruit of the Spirit is love…) joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith; Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Of course the laws of the land do not allow people to believe and live by the Word of God anymore, but he is talking about God’s law. Isn’t it good to be free? No matter how much we may deny it; we were once in bondage to the cares of the world, the deceitfulness of riches, the deceitfulness of sin. And they that are Christ’s (or they that are Christ’s children) have (not will be, have been put in a different category,)  crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. He is not making something hard, he is making it something to live by. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. You don’t have to walk around every day with your eyes closed. If you do, you are going to run into something. Be sure you don’t try driving with your eyes closed. I remember one woman; she is not here anymore. Bro. Jackson was pastor then, and I did not want to get ahead of him, but I almost did say something to her. She got up and testified, which she often did, and said; my car is my prayer closet. Then she tells how many times she has had a wreck: somebody ran into her, or she ran into somebody. I almost told her here before everybody, but did not; when you are in your prayer closet, let me know somehow; so I can get off the highway. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. We have to learn to live our lives with our brothers and sisters in mind. It even says that no man lives to himself and no man dies to himself. Think of that brothers and sisters, if you would want to walk in their shoes. Let us go to Ephesians, chapter 5, then on into the 6th chapter. Starting with the 6th verse Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience, Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, (That is what I was preaching on this morning in the 3rd chapter of John. You cannot see the kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of God rather, without the new birth. This is what he is talking about here, for ye were sometimes darkness…) but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. If we do that, we don’t have to worry about somebody sneaking up on us and finding us in some kind of awkward position. I remember one time while working with Bro. Bud down below Corydon; near the Carefree exit: a woman who used to come here: a woman that would speak in tongues and shout a lot, so everybody had a lot of confidence in her. She and her husband started having problems and she left him. She went out a few weeks later and married an alcoholic. Bro. Bud and I were working, so he told me to go to the store and get us something to eat. I walked in that store, and here her car was at the gas pump. I walked on in and saw her, but I acted as though I did not see her; because I did not want to embarrass her. She was wearing tight blue jeans and dressing in that worldly style. You have never seen anyone get out of a store as quick as she did. It is not my intention to expose or embarrass anyone, but all of that shouting, all that speaking in tongues; to me just went out the door. For ye were sometimes in darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord, walk as children of light. For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth; Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. This is our aim, proving by the way we live and the way we walk and the way we conduct ourselves: that we are living and walking in the Spirit. If I went to Bro. Bud’s house, I would not expect to see him outside without a shirt on. I would not expect to see him wearing shorts. I don’t even believe a true son or daughter of God would. Let us conduct ourselves in a way that brings glory to God the Father. Then we are walking in the Spirit, as he is talking about in this scripture: proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. He has already given a list of the things which are the fruit of darkness. I am not jumping on anybody by using these scriptures: I am just trying to help us learn how to live in the presence of one another: as well as when we are alone. He is the same God when we are alone, as He is when we are with our brothers and sisters. He is the same on Monday morning as He is on Sunday night. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. My, what a wonderful Savior! He is not just a Savior: He is a keeper. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. I realize the days that Paul lived in; there was the Roman kingdom. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. So there is a way to know what the will of the Lord is for our lives. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, (Speak to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. A certain song picks me up every once in awhile. We can just say Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! I am determined to hold out to the end. Then turn around and sing, what a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see, when I look upon His face, the One who saved me by His grace. He takes me by the hand, and leads me through the promised land, what a day, glorious day, that will be. Speak to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs…) singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. He is not saying to get out here and make a show of yourself. In your heart, when you are by yourself, praise and worship Him, but do not try to draw attention that way around others. I remember one fellow; when I worked at Ford Motors. He would look around to see how many were looking, then shout out Praise the Lord! There was no rug to get under. Why did that bother me? Later on, (he was a fork lift driver.) He got mad at a man and tried to run over him and kill him.Where was that Praise the Lord spirit then? Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. That is what I preached on this morning. Whatever you do in word or deed, do it in the name of Jesus Christ for the glory of God the Father. Let us go to the 6th chapter now. Paul is getting ready to close his message to the Ephesians. In the 10th verse he said, Finally, my brethren, (Finally my brethren, finally my sisters.) be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. You are not fighting the war by yourself, because he is telling here, Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, (That gets into the flesh. He is not talking about this physical flesh and this physical blood, he is talking about our inner being. I am not wrestling with you.) but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, (They are the instigators. I know I say things about the Senate and Congress, and the president, but it is not their flesh and blood. What it is, is what instigates them; it is the spirit they are listening to.) against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, (He is saying; put on something now. Take off all our fleshly ideas and put on something that is going to protect us from the wiles of the devil: That is the Word of God. Take unto you the whole armor of God…) that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand; (After you have done all you can to stand, then it says…) Stand. Stand! We have a right. They can take your life, but they cannot take your Stand. We have a right to the ground that God gave us, we have a right to the light He has shined in our pathway: through the face of Jesus Christ unto us. I want to go to one more scripture for now, then I am going to stop. 1st John 2, starting with verse 15. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. I remember Bro. William Branham preaching; and he said, these are three things that get preachers in trouble: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes: what he sees, and the pride of life. Oh so arrogant, they sit like kings. They preach their messages and after they do, then there is only one person I know of that plays golf more than they do, and that is Obama. He has no time to go to the border: That would interfere with his recreational schedule. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Little children, it is the last time: (he realized it) and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; (I don’t have to comment on that: It is well known.) for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, (For what cause?) that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. That is a big statement, you have an unction from the Holy One and ye know all things. He is keeping us up to date. We are not reading yesterday’s newspaper, so to speak. This is the daily news, good news. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? (That can go into many categories. We can deny Him in water baptism, we can deny Him in many other ways.) He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (That leaves no place for Jesus Being God.) Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (You might say, well I would never deny Christ. We deny Him if we don’t obey Him.) but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. He is not just saying, well I believe in Jesus, to acknowledge Him is to acknowledge Him as your Savior, as your Teacher, as your Friend, as your Mediator. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: (That is not talking about the ministry, that is talking about these know-it-all college professors.) but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him. And now, little children, abide in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, (Confidence) and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. If ye know that He is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of Him. God does not make mistakes. It is we mortals that make mistakes, not God. He said it would rain upon the just and upon the unjust. We know the rain can bring forth many things. It brings forth growth. The Bible tells us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If we do that, we are going to see things happen in our lives that are unexpected. God deals with us according to the way we commit ourselves unto Him. I felt that in dealing with these gifts, it would let each one know that there is a calling upon your life. That is true of all true believers that have had a true salvation experience. We are not just to be wall flowers; we are to be someone God can use in a time like this. If we do not get serious about walking in the will of God; time will pass us by and we will see very little accomplished in our life. I am not talking about growing into a full grown Christian suddenly. I am talking about growth, because growth does not all happen in one day. Your experience with Jesus Christ is the greatest experience that you will ever have in this life. All these other things we are talking about, the gifts and all, are things that come with the Spirit of God. I said already: I have felt like, in this message; I should deal with the ministry because, when we get into some of the gifts, and especially the gifts of healings; and other things, I want to deal with them the way the Word brings them out. It does say the gifts of healing. There were many different ways that Jesus went about the healing He did for people. That makes me think about the man that Bro. William Branham prayed for; that could not see. He prayed for that man, and he began to testify to everybody that he was healed. That is what he was told to do. He could not see yet, but he believed, and told everybody he was healed. Finally, three weeks after that, he was sitting in a barber’s chair. The barber kind of made light of it; you say you are healed, and the man still could not see. He told the barber, yes: I am healed. The barber made light of it, but while he was cutting his hair and shaving him, his sight came to him. He jumped up from the chair and ran out of the place, yelling and telling everyone he was healed. The barber was shaving him at the time; so he went running after him with his razor still in his hand. He did not know what he was doing. He was running after him because he had the lather on his face and the apron around him, getting ready to shave him. God does things in various ways and for various reasons. God has a pattern for the way He does things, and sometimes it is not the way we would do it, but what He does is always right. What a mighty God we serve! What He has done before, like the Bible says in Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. He never changes. Any gift of the Spirit will be something that can edify, just like in Paul’s time. When you read the 12th chapter of 1st Corinthians, where he said, you were carried away with these dumb idols; he was not talking about the gifts, he was talking about the idols they worshiped before believing the Word of God. He was trying to introduce them to the Spirit of God. That is our introduction now, in this hour, introducing us to the Spirit of God, how He desires to work in His body. The true Church is a body, the body of Christ. Everybody is not going to have the same function in the gifts; but each gift will compliment the others. It is not just one facet of the body, but we are put together in our physical body with all kinds of ligaments, nerves and all such. Therefore every part of a body has an important function. Your nerves are important. I am not talking about the nervous system, I am talking about the nerves in your body, because they are telling you when something is wrong. No human mind could have made up something like that. Every part of a body is of a specific design. God knew my parts, and your parts; and made all to function together in harmony. A message like this does not have a beginning and end; because it is about everyday life as a body of believers. Let us now go back into the book of Romans, the 11th chapter, 29th verse. Let us start in the 26th verse And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies, for your sakes: (For the Gentiles’ sakes. They were enemies, because God was not going to deal with Jew and Gentile at the same time. We realize, that in the beginning of the gospel, the hearers were Jews. The apostle Paul turned to the Gentiles when the Jews would not receive the gospel. In54 A.D. Paul, at Ephesus, said, Acts 13:46-48, Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the Word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, (the Jews) and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the Word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. I want you to get that: as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. God knew from the foundation of the world; all that would ever believe the gospel and be saved. That is what Paul and Barnabas did, and that is when the Church Ages started. You have an overlap there. That is why, in the end time, as we near the end, there will be a little overlap of the Jews and the Gentile Church. I am talking about Bride people. Bro. Jackson taught this, that there would be a little overlap, so the rapture of the bride would be after the 70th week of Daniel opens up for the purpose of dealing with the Jews . As concerning the gospel, they are enemies, for your sakes…) but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sake. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Of course he was talking of the Jews there. I realize that, but this did not only apply to Gentiles. If God ever called someone, that is one thing, but it is a dangerous thing to take it upon ourselves to minister God’ Word without His call upon us into the ministry. It really is a dangerous thing, for someone to just get in there on their own without His call. You are getting into trouble when you do, getting into the fire. The thing about it is, when I say fire, I am talking about going beyond what God has called you to do, or to be. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance: God does not take it back,; once He has called someone to do something. It says the gifts and calling of God, and some have thought this was the calling upon somebody that had not repented, but it says the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. In other words, God does not ever change His mind. There is a responsibility that lays there. It may be a struggle with some for a time, but it eventually settles down, and that person, or persons, will realize that somewhere up ahead God has a ministry for them. God will not speak to everyone the same way. As I look at the gifts of healing, everybody will not have the same gift in the healing ministry. Some may do it one way, some another way. When you see Paul in his ministry, and then you see Peter’s ministry. Peter walked down the street in Jerusalem, and Just his shadow overshadowing the people caused them to be healed, why? It was not his shadow that caused the healing, it was faith that had built up in the people, to where they believed, if Peter would just walk by, I know I would receive my healing. The woman that was healed by touching the hem of Jesus’ garment as He was going to pray for a certain ruler’s daughter. She was healed by her faith, not some power in His garment. The woman was healed, and it does not even give her name. It did identify the ruler’s daughter, it gives his name, but it does not give her name. This is one of the biggest healings in a way, that happened in Jesus’ ministry, because it was on her part. She had said, if I can just touch the hem of His garment, I know I will be made whole. She stooped to reach the bottom part of His garment because she did not feel she had a right to approach Him. She knew in her heart that something would happen. When we get our lives in the center of God’s will, and especially when the Church gets itself in the center of God’s will, she will soon be gone. I am not talking about that very day or very night. I am talking about when she gets into that certain state of believing: then God is going to withdraw, and that is the scripture I am getting ready to talk about; God is going to withdraw His Spirit from this Gentile world and there will never be another one healed or saved. I know this will not satisfy the denominational world of religion, because they will preach that there will be healing all the way through the tribulation, and that there is salvation then also. That is not right. When Jesus leaves the mercy seat, there will be no more of anything but judgment for unregenerate Gentiles. That is why He has been seated there all these years since His ascension: to show mercy where mercy was sought the right way, in salvation and deliverance from Satan’s clutches. Actually, salvation is deliverance. I was looking at this the other day, and this is the first time I ever looked at it in that way. The denominational world of religion, and especially the Pentecostal’s the world over, always emphasize speaking in tongues. They push that. Preachers feel like they get anointed when they speak in tongues, but that is the tail end of the gifts; and the devil takes advantage of the fact that they place so much importance on it. Tongues is the last one of the gifts Paul spoke about. Healings, miracles, wisdom, knowledge, you can read the 12th chapter of 1st Corinthians. When you do; you will find that tongues actually requires two gifts: the tongues and then the interpretation of what was spoken. First is speaking in tongues, but then the interpretation, which will actually be prophecy when it is of the Holy Ghost. Paul was very sure about what he was talking about. He did not make a mistake when he was talking about this. Please Saints: I am not finding fault with this; I am just clarifying it. Do not even think that I will ever find fault with a gift that is operated by the anointing of the Holy Ghost. Paul said, I would that you all speak in tongues, but rather that you prophesied. He said just speaking in tongues does not edify anyone other than the one speaking: except it be interpreted. The gift of tongues is to be used, but what about the gift of healing? What about the gift of prophecy? What about the gift of miracles? All these are gifts, but he starts out with the gifts like wisdom. That is a gift. Knowledge is a gift. This is all given by the Holy Ghost, by the same Spirit, they are all ministered, every one of them. The thing about it is, people that have a certain gift; any one of them, will be used in these last days of time. What does it say in Joel? Peter picked it up when it was needed. Some might think that was just for the day of Pentecost. If you do, you are wrong. That was after Pentecost; a time when he was preaching, after that time of Pentecost. It might have been the same day; I do not know: but it was after they had the Pentecostal experience. He explains it; after he said this is that. Let us now go to the scripture in 2nd Thessalonians. We live in a time when there are so many voices, and so many opinions; that it is a dangerous time, spiritually; as well as a glorious time, because there are so many voices speaking wrong: These voices are making uncertain sounds. Now I am back on the ministry again. 2 Thessalonians, Chapter 2, Now we beseech you, brethren, (He is not talking to unbelievers, nor make-believers.) by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him, (he is speaking of the rapture there,) That ye be not soon shaken in mind, (by false teachers) or be troubled, neither by spirit, (That is speaking of your mental capabilities, that is not talking about the Spirit of God.) nor by word, (He is talking about listening to strange voices, voices that have nothing to do with the Spirit of God.) nor by letter as from us. As from us. There have always been deceivers lurking around, and this is something they had to deal with constantly. That is what they ran to Jerusalem about; all these people running to Jerusalem, telling about Paul, saying, he is preaching against the Law. We know he was not preaching against the Law. He was just telling them that grace brought an end to trying to keep the letter of the Law. Keeping the Law will not bring salvation to anyone in this grace age. The only way the Law could ever save anyone, was if you could keep every word of it, and nobody ever could do that. At one time the Law served a purpose. You observed days, you observed months, you observed years. You observed the Sabbath. You killed your sacrifices. That was the Law, and that was what the Jewish people were required to do. I remember Bro. Jackson talking about it one time. He said the Jews would get so mad at one another, oh I could just kill that person: But if they did not do it, they had not broken the Law. That made me think, and it will probably make you think too: As long as they did not put their words into action, they were pretty safe. They could think about it, but if they did not do it, they had not broken the Law that says; Thou shalt not kill, but Jesus, when He came along, said, if you have ought against your brother. That changes things. That changes what their thinking was to be like. Under grace; we have a totally different outlook. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first. I mentioned about the falling away of your church bodies, how they used to live, even women that did not go to church knew how to dress decently. I thank God for my spiritual sisters. There are sisters you never have to say another word to concerning clothing. There are brothers that you never have to say anything to about clothing because it is inside them to dress right. When Bro. Bud or I say something, we are not speaking to everybody, because; when the gospel message gets inside us to the point that nothing bothers us in this world, we are not going to change for anybody or anything. You no longer have to get before a mirror and look to see if you are dressed right, you dressed right when you got out of bed. Maybe I should not say this, but if you have a question like, is this too short? Then it is too short. Or it is too tight. We are living in the end time. We are living here at the closing out of Gentile time. I just use this as an example; I do not want you to take it any further than that. I have traveled around the world with Brother Steve and Sister Elsie. We have probably traveled a hundred thousand miles by plane. Never one time was I ashamed of my sister; how she dressed, or my brother and how he dressed. Exampleship in this hour is worth more than what our testimony by speaking ever could be. And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. I just went over verse 7, so let us go to verse 8. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth. With the spirit of his mouth, Revelation 19, says the sword of the Spirit. Just like a breath, that is what it is. I do not want to be on the wrong side. I do not want to be on the other side when they are singing the song, When the Saints go marching in, O Lord I want to be in that number, when the Saints go marching in. When they gather around that throne, I want to be there. There are people listening, I know there are, because they tell me they are. Sis. Doris sings the song, Tell Me His Name Again. They say this happened in Africa, where the song came from. When there was a woman that heard the good news, but she forgot the name Jesus. She forgot the name of the Lord Jesus. It was the first time she had ever heard anything like that. She forgot the name and ran up to somebody and said, Oh tell me His name again, tell me His name again. I also want to hear His name again, from lips that know what they are talking about. This is what excites me. I am excited inside right now, it may not show, but I am. That precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ will deliver you out of a lot of things. When you think that people could go either way, then you see it settle with a steadiness in the heart’s and mind’s of people who have said Yes Lord, Yes Lord. People have said, I have had a lot of trouble with people calling me, talking to me; trying to influence me. Bro. Steve said, I never did have any trouble with that, because they all knew where I stand. We are not teeter-totters, sitting on something, when one time it is up, and another time it is down. I serve a risen Savior, He is in my life today. We know where we are; we do not have to be told . We know where we are; and we know where we are going: because we do not see any change. If you are going to go to work, and you are working outside, you may look at the weather to see what the weather is going to be, but when you are looking at the gospel, you have to be aware that there are winds of doctrines that we have to be aware of. That is how the Bible talks about it, winds, because you never know which way they are going to blow. That is why we everyone must know exactly where we stand spiritually. I was advised in 2008, before our fall meetings, that there were a bunch of preachers coming; that were going to debate me. I said, there will be no debate. There will be no debate about what I preach. Some may say, Well Bro. Allen, maybe you should have listened to them. I did not have anything to listen to, I knew where I was standing, so there was nothing to debate about. I allow only the Spirit of God to show me what to preach. Maybe you think I am just hard headed. You can call it anything you want to, but it was God that called me to preach, and I depend upon Him to let me know what to preach: Not a bunch of preachers that want to come in here and take over everything. That is all behind us now; so I will get back to this other scripture. Let us go to 2nd Corinthians. A few years ago; some time after all this happened, there was a young man that came to me and told me he did not agree with what I had to say. I just let it go. Two weeks later he came back again and said, the way you are preaching is not the way Bro. Jackson preached it. I did not say anything, but I told Bro. Bud that this will not happen again. I did not have time, because he was gone. Let us go to 2nd Corinthians 5:19-20. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, (An ambassador for Christ, not an ambassador for anyone but Him. Ambassadors for who? Some church? For some system? Or somebody’s thinking? Or from some splinter group of something? No…) as though God did beseech you by us: (Look what it puts the ministry into. We are not representing ourselves.) we pray you in Christ’s stead. Just as though He were here; that is how important the truth is, and how solid the true ministry has to be. If we are preaching by the Spirit of God, it is as though Christ were here in person. That got to me. That one verse speaks more than any man’s words can today or ever could; Enough that I want to read it again. Now we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us, Paul is not talking just about himself. He is talking about the ministry that is called of God, ambassadors for Christ. We pray you in Christ’s stead, or instead of Christ, as though He were standing here with His own instructions. The revelation is not mine. The ministry is not mine. As I said this morning, I am not trying to set myself up on a pedestal where I can come out like the old Catholic priests did, come out and never talk to anybody. The only time he ever did was on Friday night when they came in to confess their sins to him. He used that against them. I remember one person that used to be a Catholic. He is dead now. He went to confession when he was a boy. He told the priest, I don’t have anything to confess, I have not done anything wrong. The priest told him, you go back and think. He went back and thought again. He came back, and by that time the old priest was mad, because he could not think of anything to confess to him. I would rather talk to some clod hopper out somewhere plowing in a field. If you have something to confess, confess it to the Lord, not to some earthly person that may spread it around. I am wondering, just wondering, when this thing begins to shape up, what are those prophecy preachers going to say then: when it is not like they have prophesied? Like I said before; I know they are just like our politicians: they will just change it a little bit and go on changing it until they find themselves in the tribulation. I have been over this in 2nd Corinthians 5:19-20, but like I said before: Paul had to be preaching to more than just the people he was looking at, because there was much carnality in Corinth. To wit, (or witness) that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, (Do you believe there was unity between God and Christ; God and His Son? Jesus said, in the 17th chapter of John, I and my Father are one. That was one in spirit, total unity, in spirit, but there had to be some things happen in Jesus’ life before He could receive the Holy Ghost. He did not receive the Holy Ghost until He had grown into manhood: The Bible says He was about thirty years of age, and when He went to John to be baptized. He had to be baptized in order to fulfill His ministry. Baptism is important. We have to be baptized to fulfill our salvation experience and our purpose in the plan of God. There are no shortcuts in this life we have been called of God to live. We can go back into 2 Corinthians 5:19, and read that again. This is Paul’s writing. To wit, God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. (In other words, when you are forgiven, God does not hold your former life against you. If you have been forgiven of your sins, and you still feel guilty, it is because you are letting the devil play with your mind. In Romans 8:1 we read this: There is thereforenow no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” You have to resist that kind of harassment, and get into your Bible and get it settled on what you believe. When you have a scriptural salvation experience; and have the Holy Ghost abiding in you; you have eternal security; and the righteousness of Jesus has been imputed unto you. You could say it like this: I have eternal life, and there is no end to eternal. Turn to Romans 4:20. This was said about Abraham. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what He (God) had promised, He was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” As I said earlier; God does not make mistakes. It is we mortals that make mistakes, not God. He always keeps His Word. He said it would rain upon the just and the unjust. That is why tares conduct themselves the same as the true seed of God do. We know the rain can bring forth many things. It brings forth growth to true seed of God, and it brings forth imitators of the rest. The Bible tells us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If we do that, we are going to see things happen in our lives that are unexpected. When we are led by the Spirit; we do not know what God will lead us to do as we yield to Him. He deals with us according to the way we commit ourselves unto Him. We know what the Word of God says about salvation, so there is no reason for anyone to allow the enemy of our soul to cause doubt our salvation. Stand fast upon the Word of God, and do not allow doubts. When you have obeyed from your heart the Word of God concerning salvation; just know that you have it. Amen
