Preached on May 3, 2020 – am
We are picking up with the continuation of the May 3, 2020 service from our last Contender.
That is what I was talking about a while ago. There are people, thousands and sometimes hundreds of thousands, watching these preachers who are telling these things and they are believing it. They are believing it; somebody is being deceived. That is the reason He is saying this here. “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” I went over that before. There have been a few come and say they were Jesus, but they were laughed off the scene. But they are going to come and say, I am anointed, God has showed me this, God has shown me what is going to happen. Some have said, after this virus is gone, there are going to be a billion people saved. God did not show them that. But this is what they are saying. I am glad I know truth. I am glad I have learned truth through the years because it is something to hold on to. You cannot hold on to men’s ideas, and this is what it is. They are feeling it. They may be anointed. Bro. Branham said there would be false anointed ones at the endtime. They are anointed. They may even have had dreams about it, but you cannot compare a dream to the scripture. It is either scriptural or it is not. But it seems these people are seeing things that are not really real according to the scripture. “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Why is He saying that? All these things must happen in order to take much of the population away. If it was not, then the world would be completely overcrowded. If there had not been diseases, if there had not been that disease in 1918, that took much of the population away. Now there are seven billion people here and there has to be a stop to this. Because God is not going to allow people of that nature to inherit the kingdom of God. He has so many and that is it. There are just so many that are going to be saved, and that is all. There are going to be so many in the Bride and that is all. So many foolish virgins and that is all. So many in the great multitude and that is all. Even in the 7th chapter of Revelation, He numbers out how many men would be, the 144,000. He knows all these things. God measured them out. We see this here. Ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, see that ye be no troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. They must come to pass. There is a reason for that. Then He really gets into what will be in the last days. Because they have asked Him different questions. “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, (What does it mean by famine. Does it mean droughts?
There is already famine. Do you see all these nice cars lined up to get food? That is famine. It does not always have to be that way. Now they are slaughtering cattle. In a lot of places, meat has already doubled in price, if you can even get it. The grocery stores are empty. This happened in Venezuela two or three years ago. Now you see it in America. You can see grocery stores with nothing on the shelves. People hoard it, I know that, but now it is not there. Because they can only do so much, that is leaving a lot of people out. Now they are driving up in nice cars through food lines, even that was dreamed about. Nice cars, people well dressed, getting in food lines. This is all going on. There will be famines. We always think of it, well the weather will get dry. We do not know what is going to happen here. But I will say this, David said that he would never see the seed of God begging bread. Nation shall rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, there shall be famines, more than one….) and pestilences, (As I said earlier, it always started out with locusts, but then it goes into death. In Africa, locusts are eating up all the crops. Those poor people had nothing to begin with. They are out waving rags or whatever they have, trying to get rid of them, but there they are, the air is full of the locusts. You cannot get rid of them with rags and towels, things that you would use to shoo them away, they just do not leave. There are too many of them. There shall be famines, and pestilences…) and earthquakes, in divers places.” In the Old Testament it talked about whirlwinds. Last month there were three hundred and sixty-one tornadoes, that is a whirlwind. That was in one month, more than there have ever been. Three hundred and sixty-one tornadoes in the United States. “All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Do you think there are not people who are hurting today? Sorrowful? It has gone down into the little children now with another type of disease, even babies. They cannot wait to get back to the beaches, cannot wait to get back to entertainment of some kind. This is America today; they have to be entertained some way. But God has shut down the ball parks, He has shut down the gyms, He has shut down the movie theaters. People are crying because they cannot have their entertainment. The bars are closed. Movie houses are closed. Most of the businesses are closed. These are times of sorrows. People are hurting. Now He goes into what is going to happen right after He is gone. “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.” The governor of New York said we are doing better, but God had nothing to do with it. If they are not crazy, I do not know what else you would call it. This is complete foolishness. Man has gone crazy. “And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.”
When the Holocaust was going on, while we were in Warsaw Poland, we saw where they had the Jews. It was maybe four or five acres; they had a half million Jews behind walls. The walls were made to where they came up, then were made to look like death, made to look like a tombstone. All the wall, all the way around. They wanted them to suffer. I remember the woman singer, her last name is Isaac, her parents were in there, one of them. Because she was a Jew. She said that her dad, he would not let them throw potato peelings away. All the way up until his death, he would not let them throw them away, because he said whenever they were in that condition, the Germans would throw potato peelings out and this was all they had to eat. So he would not let them throw potato peelings away. This is going to happen again. The Jews say, never again, but it will happen again whenever that beast takes over. You can read that in Zechariah 13. Many shall betray one another and hate one another. I know the Polish people in Warsaw, as long as the Jews had money, they would protect them. But when the money ran out, they would turn them over. That is much of what is going on right now among the older people in these rest homes. I am sure that it all has to be approved by governmental leaders, get rid of the people, we do not need them. AOC, whatever her name is, she said there should not be more than sixty-five million people on the earth. No doubt she was not talking about herself. The Christians are the blunt of all this. I know some of the churches in Louisville, they declared that what went on over there at the Maryville church, because they were going to have church in their parking lot. They declared that to be unconstitutional because they said they overreached. They said a person in their car should be able to worship, as long as they stayed a distance away. But the Louisville mayor went ahead and took all their license plate numbers, the ones that were there in their cars. But some judge had enough sense to know that this was wrong. We have it all in our midst today, we do not have to look further because it is in our nation. They do not care about God; they do not care about Jesus Christ. They hate Him. “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” That is what is going on now. The love of many has just waxed cold.
The Christian people are getting the blunt of it. The only reason we are staying open is because we are keeping a distance. We are keeping the numbers down so that we can, otherwise somebody would have reported us. Because somebody threatened to. But that was stopped very quick. What I said was not a threat, it was something that was going to happen. But I see it begin to open up a little bit, so we will take whatever we can get. I have the papers on it, where things are going to begin to open up some. So praise the Lord! God is good! False prophets shall arise and deceive many. The love of many shall wax cold. “But he that shall endure unto the end, (When He says endure, a lot of people endure their religion. But He is not talking about them. Those that can still stand whenever things get rough, then they are going to make it. But he that shall endure to the end…) the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom (It has to be the truth. We present it every way we can in order to let the world hear it. I believe it is heard around this earth. People in Africa, India. I do not know about China, Iran, different places. But get this broadcast because it is something free. We are not sending out flyers. Nobody is being charged for what they get. Jesus said this is freely given. It did not cost us anything for salvation. We had no debt to pay because Jesus paid it all. He who the Son has made free, is free indeed. We have our freedom in Christ, even though there is trouble going on. There is still a freedom in Him. This gospel of the kingdom…) shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” This message is going where it is supposed to go, because if somebody does not hear, it is not our fault. They can accept or they can walk away. We are not putting bonds on people, saying you have to believe. No. The gospel is not that. Freely you have been given, so freely receive. I will say that we are a blessed people. God has showed us favor because we have represented His truth. I have read the different scriptures today to show you just what is going on in this land and in this nation and around the world today. I am sure that the ones in different places of the world, whether it be Norway, wherever it would be, South Africa, or the Philippines. God has spoken to people. He spoke to their hearts. They have turned their lives unto Him, not unto me, not unto Bro. Jackson or any other minister. Because we put no charge on it. That scripture surely fits, surely, we have received and surely give. We are not holding people’s feet to the fire, now you have got to believe this. No, it is up to the individual. If you turn it away it is your fault. If you accept it, it is between God and you. Our decisions are made between us and God, not between us and man. You see what man does in Revelation 11. As you look through the church ages, you see what man has done. The gospel has set it straight. Jesus set things straight. Whenever we believe Him, there is no other way out. We look for the good, but sometimes bad comes with it. Because God must correct us, otherwise we are not His children. That is what it said in Hebrews, we must receive correction at times. But then we do not get the mulligrubs because we are being chastened. It is really a privilege for us to be chastened because God chastens His sons and daughters. It does bring about a change, a change in thought and a change in attitude. We praise the Lord in good times and in bad times. We like the good times, but then the bad times come. Just like we are going through right now. I am not out running around every day. I am doing the things that are necessary. I do not have to go to Walmart every day. I do not have to go to Kroger every day. But I do have to go sometimes to take care of business, but then I leave. You have to respect the other person; I do not care if he is a sinner or a saint. You have to respect the other person. I am not talking about going home with them, just respect for God’s sake. Today, this is what I have had to say. I hope it has been a blessing for some. Preached on May 10, 2020 – am
I have scriptures here that have been used before, but I want to go further with them in some ways, so I will deal with that this morning and tonight. We thank the Lord for truth and for the day and hour in which we live, that God has given us a time and opportunity to be able to meet together and have fellowship one with another. The time is short, we are truly living in the last days. The Bible said perilous times will come. This is one of the perils that we are living in right now. This is not the tribulation as some think it is. Some of the prophecy preachers will tell you this is part of the tribulation. It is not part of the tribulation. It is true that the fourth horse rider is riding, but he is not in the last part of his ride. The last part of his ride is the end of the age. We know the last horse began to ride back in the 1960’s. When we see the church there in Revelation 3, when we see the churches have lost their way and they become neither cold nor hot, so God was looking upon the scene then. The horse rider was riding, but God had an antidote for it in a prophet that He sent to the age. Every one of these horse riders have an antidote to change things. I know Paul in his day, as well as the rest of them as you come along through time, then Luther and Wesley end up the Dark Ages, which is the black horse. Here in the last days you have the black horse and the white one together, which makes it a gray horse. The deceit that happened in the first age, then the death that come through the black horse, will be the one to end this thing out. Whenever the gray horse rides his last ride, then that will end that for them. We find that in Revelation 19 and 20. So today we are looking at scripture, and I want to be able to look at it in the way it was meant to be, and the way the scripture would have it to be. I praise the Lord for His wonderful grace that He has shown us in this time. I know the last days do not deal as much maybe with the epistles, it does somewhat, as it does with Daniel, Isaiah, and then Revelation. But there are instances of it in the epistles, which Paul talks about in 1st Thessalonians 4th chapter, the last part of it, then 2nd Thessalonians, the 2nd chapter, he deals with it. As well as in other parts of the scripture that he deals with because God has given him an outline for the ages to come, which each age is obligated to the writings of Paul, as well as Peter, James and those that did write, which would be Matthew and them, telling about the story of Jesus.
But we find that John, he is the one that was left to live out his days to be able to see the end of the century, the first century. He was the only one that was able to do that. They tried to get rid of him through boiling him in oil, but that did not kill him. God’s hand of protection was upon him all the way through. Finally they put him on the Isle of Patmos. There he wrote the book of Revelation, or he saw the vision of the book of Revelation. I am not saying he wrote it all, but he had the vision of it and someone else wrote from his vision, there in the book of Revelation. Just as it was in the time of Daniel, how he was able to see through all the times, even to the time of the end. As well as did Ezekiel, as well as Jeremiah, parts of Jeremiah. Jeremiah was mostly dealing with the Jews, that was the Judaistic Jews in his time, but there were instances where he wrote about the endtime. Then we find Isaiah was the one, I remember Bro. Branham talking about the book of Isaiah, it is kind of like a Bible in itself. Because it tells you the beginning, it tells you the time of Christ, and it tells you of the end of the world. We find that is incredibly wise of him to say something like that, because we see how it has happened. God is great. He watches over His word. He watches over His people to be able to speak truth to them, that we are not tangled up in all this denominational mess that is going on in the world. Several of us, it used to be most of us, but several of us came out of the denominational systems. But many that are living now were born right in the time of the last days, which the messenger to the age brought a message, and many of you were not even permitted to live in that, but you did live under the ministry, most of you, under the ministry of Bro. Jackson and from there on. So we have had great teachers and lessons that have been brought to us to be able to continue on with what was brought, to fulfill our part of it. Our part is not to veer off of what was at the beginning, but our part is to be able to go on with the revelation of truth to these last days. So this is the reason for it all. As I look at Revelation, and look at Daniel, most of what I have written down here this morning, is Revelation and Daniel. We see Daniel, chapter 7, he writes from the time of Nebuchadnezzar right on through until the end of the age, there in the 7th chapter where he talks about the saints coming into power. So we have a great lesson for us there. Then we see Revelation 13 has parts of Daniel 7 in it, but it does not have the whole beast, just parts of the beast, which he is using here in this endtime, to be able to teach us what is going to happen in the next few years. The Bride of course is not going to be here to watch out for all of this, but she is going to be here for part of it as it comes about, up until the time of the end as in Revelation chapter 8 and 10.
We have much to think about and much that God has shown us. I want to go to Daniel 7 first of all this morning, and see what Daniel has to say about it, for the time that we are in. I know Ezekiel has a plan here that he goes ahead and tells you what is going to happen, even in the Millennium, whenever he is writing from the 40th to the 46th chapter, about the building of the temple and all, and about the things that will be going on in the temple era of time. The reason I am reading this from Daniel 7, verses 1 thru 14, the reason I start with these verses is because it has the whole beast in it, each one of them. It has the whole thing, but when you come to Revelation 20, it just carries the parts that will be important, which is Revelation 13 also, mostly in 13. “In the first year of Belshazzar (He has done come beyond Nebuchadnezzar, he is talking about Belshazzar.) king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: (the vision and the dream were the same thing, as he is looking at it here. I am saying that sometimes a dream can turn out to be a vision if it is according to the scripture. This was according to what was going to happen. He is seeing this here because Daniel was taken away as a young boy, maybe fifteen or sixteen years of age. He was taken to Babylon. Then we find he probably lived into his nineties, but he never did go back to Jerusalem. There was a reason for that, because of what they had done to him. Anyone with what had been done to him, could never go back into the temple area. This could never happen because he was a eunuch, he could never go back to what the original was.) then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters. Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, (See? He goes back and forth from a dream to a vision, which is the same thing here.) and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.” You will find that in Revelation 7, the four winds, as we see where they are at there upon the great sea. It goes from there to the Euphrates. The great sea on the map here, goes all the way into Europe, what you look at in Europe is more or less covered by the great sea that it talks about here, the winds that strove upon the great sea. Which would be the end of the vision of the fourth beast. “And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.” In other words, they are all different. The reason they are different, is because of their location, for one thing, and another thing is because of the swiftness of them, of each one, and then because of the strength of each one. The strength would lie in the lion, as he goes into it here. “The first was like a lion, (See? He is looking at strength here. A lion, nothing can escape its mouth. I saw some female lions one time; they had an animal they had killed. Here came all these hyenas after them. There were so many of them, they were biting at the lions, they were about to run them off. But here came a big male lion. When he came, they all began to scatter. He got hold of one and got its head in his mouth, you could hear the bones cracking. You will find this in Revelation 13, the mouth of a lion. But it is the same spirit, the first beast was like a lion…) and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, (See? This is the first thing that leaves there, the wings of the eagle are plucked.) and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, (That is Nebuchadnezzar when he has exalted himself above God and everything. The great kingdom he was bringing up, God took the kingdom away from him for a seven-year period of time. It said the hair of his head became as eagle feathers. So you see the plucking of the wings and all, because it is no more seen, the two wings.) and a man’s heart was given to it.” This is showing the life of Nebuchadnezzar, how at the end of him, he had to acknowledge God was God, and the God of Daniel was God. After he had been humiliated for seven years, living with the beasts of the earth for seven years, and eating of the food of the animals, then he was willing to acknowledge God after that. It did not change the atmosphere of that kingdom, because it went on down to the next one, which was the two wings of it. “And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, (A bear is something with strength in its feet. You see that in Revelation 13.) and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.”
This was the Medo-Persian Empire, as it talks here, it had three ribs in the mouth of it, which represented three kings. Three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth, and they said unto it, arise and devour much flesh. This was the Medo-Persian Empire. Then the next one, “After this, I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.” Which represents four different kings in that Grecian Empire. Each one is extending its reach westward. It goes all the way into Iran, into parts of India, and comes all the way back, then it is ready to go into the great sea. Egypt is part of that kingdom, but we find here it says, “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, (We know the Roman Empire was terrible and dreadful.) and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: (feet, which is ten toes, which Daniel seen earlier in a vision. And stamped the residue, which would be the ten kingdoms. Stamped the residue with the feet of it. In other words it stamped out the rest of the kingdoms that was before it.) and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.” The ten horns are Europe. We look at Europe here on the map, it is all around the great sea. The whole thing hovers around the great sea. You see Italy and all these others around that. “I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, (Now it is getting into the 500-year period of time, A.D.) before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.” This would be the pope; he is beginning his ride. They always say that was Satan’s millennium, from 500 to 1500 A.D. We know what happened in 1500, Martin Luther came on the scene. He helped to begin to stamp the thing out. Now he is looking into the future as he looks at this. “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, (He is looking all the way into the end time.) and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.” You find the wheels as you go back into Ezekiel. “A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: and the judgment was set, and the books were opened.” It goes all the way to Revelation 20; the books were opened. The books of judgment. The book of life would be to those that went through the Millennium. Because the others have already received their reward. But then you have the book of life which would represent those that made it through the Millennium. But then the books were opened, which is talking about judgment of the people that did not serve God. I will read that verse again. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him, thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand, this is getting into the millions now, stood before Him. The judgment was set, and the books were opened. “I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: (It goes back to the horn; the horn would be the pope.) I beheld even till the beast was slain, (The beast is slain in chapter 19 of Revelation.) and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.” This is represented in the 20th and 21st verses of chapter 19 in Revelation. Now this is important, “As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: (The spirit still lives.
The rest of it does not come out until chapter 20 of Revelation. But there is a part of it in Revelation 13. As concerning the rest of the beasts, which would be the other three. The fourth one, the spirit of that thing is already cast into the burning flame. The spirits, which would be the spirits of devils, were cast into the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away…) yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, (That is talking about the Bridegroom coming back.) and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: (That includes the whole world now. They must serve Him, or they do not get rain, as is spoken in Zechariah 14.) his dominion is an everlasting dominion, (Which speaks of the Millennium.) which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.” Now let us go to Revelation 13. “And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, (This is going back to the European nations.) having seven heads and ten horns, (The ten nations of Europe. Some have said, well they have twenty-seven now. That does not count, that is something else. The rest of it makes up the body of the beast, that is why I had this all the way into Israel here. That is the body of the beast as we look at it here on this map. You see here, all the way up into here, even into Iran. Because that was where the second beast came from. I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns…) and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.” We have a picture of that here. Here are the ten horns. This is the description of the beast. Let us read about him. “And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, (swift) and his feet were as the feet of a bear, (It is bringing parts of this in here to show the different strengths. The feet of a bear, because that is where the power comes from, the feet. The leopard is swift, but it has bear feet. See? This is part of that where it says the lives of these three were prolonged, but that is not the end of that.) and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: (Because the mouth of the lion is its strength. They always kill with their mouth. See? This beast is incorporated in strength here in the feet, in the swiftness of its body, and the bite it has here in this endtime.) and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.” The dragon would be Rome, as well as the rest of the beast, the whole kit and caboodle. “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly would was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” This little horn, I remember Bro. Jackson going over it, he said it did not add another horn, it did not make eleven, it was just part of the ten. This little horn is taking over about 800 A.D. whenever he began to appoint kings. He more or less run the religious world, as well as the political world. This is the pope of Rome. It has not changed; it is still the same.
It is seeking rulership over the whole world. That is where the mark of the beast comes from, which we are not getting into right now. I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death, and his deadly would was healed. All the world wondered after the beast. After the beast, because he is more or less ruler of the beast now, from 800 on. I believe it was Pope Leo that was the one who anointed the king, to be the first one. So we find here the beast, but something else took place. I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death, that came about, it started with Martin Luther and went on through Wesley and so on. Then in 1808, I believe it was, I am not for sure about that last number, then it was defeated, and the pope was put in prison and they said that spirit was dead. But its wound was healed. In 1945, as the war was ending, then the pope began to get his authority back again. As he began to get his authority back, then in 1964 I believe it was, Lyndon John sent an ambassador to the Vatican. You see the healing process. Of course the denominational world says this head here, they say it is different, because they got two men, they have a world leader, and they have a pope. Of course they do not recognize him as being the pope. But Revelation 17 tells the whole story of the end of it all. The whole world wondered after the beast. Let us go back to the map here. The whole world, which would be this part of the world, Europe on into this part here. This is the world that he is speaking about. Because this was the whole world at that time, that he reigned over. It is not talking about the United States. The United States was not in existence. They teach now that the eagle wings were the United States. It had nothing to do with the United States. The United States was not in existence during that first time, during the beginning of that. It says the whole world wondered after it, it was the whole prophetic world. It was not the United States, it was not even China. But China will come against this, as you see in Revelation 7, the four winds holding back there at the Euphrates, which we read about in Daniel, the four winds. “And they worshipped the dragon (The dragon that you do not see here, but the dragon is instituted by the devil, which has brought this whole body together. This is the whole body, as we see it here. The dragon takes in the whole body, which is instigated by the devil. They worshipped the dragon…) which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth (one man) speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.” The beast system, which the pope is over at this time. “And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.” See? We will read about that in chapter 11 of Daniel, in just a minute. “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, (with the foolish virgin at that time) and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” The nations that make up that body. “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.” Let us go to Daniel now, chapter 11, verse 36. “And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.” This is determined, it shall be done. You see the blasphemy in chapter 13, you see it here. “Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, (He is completely left from what the Catholic Church was doing, their Hail Mary’s and everything, burning candles, because he wants all that power to himself. He does not want God mentioned. That is getting the way the world is right now. People in the United States, even the governor of New York said, God did not do this, it was our intelligence. How stupid can people be? It is craziness. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers…) nor the desire of women, (You see this in Revelation, he is gay.) nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: (In other words, his armour, what he is able to do. He thinks he has the world conquered. That is why the kings of the east come against him, because they want a little of the respect he is getting.) and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.” Oh, he is just like the devil was in the beginning. The devil in the beginning had all these pearls, all kinds of trinkets that he liked. Here he is going right back to that. “And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.” See? He does have opposition, from the south and from the north, at that time. But he conquers them. “He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.”
Why this? Because they are trying to get a middle east settlement right now. In order to antagonize the Jews, what is he going to do? He is going to give them the land that they claim. He is going to box off Israel to where she has very little land. That is in the last three- and one-half years. But he is going to recognize the three countries that are in there now, like Ammon Jordan, and all. These places will be a part of his kingdom. “He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.” I wonder why the land of Egypt shall not escape? Because Egypt is now a part of Israel, them, and Assyria. See? It is that part of the world that comes down against him. But that is the reason for it. He gives this land to Moab and all of them. But then Egypt shall not escape because Egypt now is worshiping God, along with Saudi Arabia and all the rest of them, in that part of the world. That is the reason he goes against them. He shall stretch forth his hand upon the countries and the land of Egypt shall not escape, shall not escape his judgment. “But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. But tidings out of the east (This is where the trouble comes, tidings out of the east, China, those Asian countries. He hears something. Tidings out of the east…) and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.” Or to take away many. “And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; (Which will be the temple, that is the holy mountain it is talking about here.) yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.” Of course he will come to his end when the Bride of Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ come back on white horses. Then he will come to his end. I love the word of God because it puts forth a beautiful picture about what we are going through now and about what is fixing to come. Do you remember me telling you about Revelation, about prolonging of the life of those animals, those three animals? Here they come up again in chapter 19 of Revelation. I will start with verse 17. “And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, (This will be at the end of the tribulation.) and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, (He is looking at the beast now, the whole beast system.) and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.” Which will be the saints. Why would it be them? Because he has been the one that has persecuted them through the ages of time. All through the ages, it has been that Roman system that has done that.
It has been all through the ages of time. “And the beast was taken, (Remember when I read that in Daniel, until he was put into the flaming fire. The beast was taken…) and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, (The false prophet would be the pope. The beast is not a man, the beast is what we have been talking about, that he was riding. The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him…) with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, (Which is in chapter 13.) and them that worshipped his image. (Revelation 17 is his image, the great wore and her harlots. Then the abominations, which would be the church systems that had no revelation.) These both (Both the beast and the false prophet, the spirits of them. Not their bodies yet. Their bodies do not go there until the end whenever judgment comes where these are raised up from the dead, it even says out of hell. Here you have these coming out of hell. These both…) were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.” They meet their doom there. “And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.” Here we go back into the middle of the 19th chapter, verse 11. “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.” He had a name that no man knew, but his name is called The Word of God. “And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine line, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: (That is what it said over there where I just read.) and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Then verse 21. “And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse.” The same sword. Let me go into chapter 20 here, we will see the prolonging of the life of those three beasts. “And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed for a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: (It said I saw thrones, not one throne, many thrones. They sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them, the Bride.
Now he is telling about the foolish virgins after he has said that.) and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” That is talking about the foolish virgins. “But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.” That is talking about up here, the souls of them. “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Now here is the doom. “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” For ever and ever and ever. We see here the doom of this, and we see the spirit of Gog and Magog, which is anti-God, which is Russia. Gog would be the ruler and Magog is Moscow. It comes right back to the same thing again, where it was doomed. It goes into Ezekiel 38 and 39. This thing was defeated, but then it came back on the scene here, because it is the spirit of the thing. The spirit of the thing is no God. That is why he gets such a number to follow him, in the Millennium of time. Because he has got people in the last few years that he is given. It will not be a week; it will not be a month. It will be a time because they have to get this army together. The thing about it is the armament of the army has been turned into plowshares. Now they have to have time to make war material again, to come up against Jerusalem in the last days. It is going to be a short period of time, but it is going to take possibly a few years to get that all going. I am going to stop at this time. Prayer

I preached on this message this morning and will continue on with it. I have scriptures here since the very beginning of it that I want to get to. This is part 5. Tonight I want to look into the book of Revelation, chapter 22. We know we are at the endtime and the scripture is being fulfilled even with these viruses and all that are taking place. You saw the locusts we talked about in the first part of this message, this is one thing that always accompanies the different plagues that come. Of course this did not happen in America, but in other countries. It showed on television them fighting them off, waving their hands, because there was nothing else they could do. A lot of these other countries do not have anything to kill the bugs with. It is just an invasion of locusts. But God said He would send the locusts. That is the one thing He said He would do first, send the locusts. Then He would send diseases, which is talked about in pestilence, when you look at it that way. It lets us know a little more about the endtime. I know I saw some things that Jonathan Cahn had put out. He was talking about what was going on. He showed some of those things also, how this plague happened at this time of the year. It has been nineteen years since, it will be in September, when they hit the World Trade Center in New York, as well as the Pentagon, and so on. Now nineteen years later we have this covid 19. There is always a pattern. He brought that out in the pattern of Israel when they were carried away to Babylon. There was a nineteen-year period there, then the big time was the last invasion they had, because they took everyone away, except a few vine dressers and people of that nature. Of course Jeremiah was left there with them. God spared him from the onslaught of the enemy and leave him there in Israel. He had a choice to do whatever he felt like he needed to do. So we are looking at this, they are predicting an end to it soon. I know President Trump wants it to be over. But it seems the Democrats just want to throw money at it. They are just putting forth money to try to heal something that has been brought on by the hand of God, by the failure of many people for not putting their trust in Him. Because that is the way it was in Israel. They had no confidence in God, but they had confidence in other gods. Because they began to say, well, when we served these other gods, we were fed and all this, that and the other. I am afraid it is that way in America today because the economy has been so good. A few years ago somebody dreamed this, I heard this before, a long time before this, that they saw cars pulling up with well-dressed people and everything else, getting in a food line. This is really happening now. You do not see a bunch of junky cars going into the food line. It is new cars, some almost new, that are getting this help of just a box of food. Because America never does prepare for anything. They just go ahead and live from week to week. Then the rest of it is pleasure that they spend their money on. The Bible said in Isaiah 55, wherefore do you spend your money for that which is not bread. We can do all kinds of entertainment, but we can forge the future. I am not talking about storing food from now to the tribulation, because I do not want to go into that. But some are preparing for it that way, all the way through the tribulation, seven-year period of time. They think we are in the tribulation already. But this is just a taste, a little taste of what it will be during that time. I read from Revelation 6 last Sunday, where it talks about there would be dying from the beast, because of the disease coming from the beast, the beast of the earth. This is really what is coming. It came out of a laboratory, either that or the wet market in China. They just hang everything out, bats and everything for people to get. To them, bats is a delicacy. I cannot stand the looks of them myself. They look like they are smiling, ready to get you. They are getting a lot of people the way they are talking about it, but really there is more talk about it coming from that laboratory. It was a laboratory for testing of diseases. I do not know why they are so foolish. The reason I am reading Revelation 22 tonight is because this is where it all ends up. But then there is a background to that. We want to look at this and then look at the background. Verses 16-19, “I Jesus have sent mine angel (What is this talking about? I Jesus have sent mine angel. Has He got a special angel? No, it is Himself in angelic form. I Jesus have sent mine angel…) to testify unto you these things in the churches. (Go back to the 1st chapter of Revelation and you will see that He is the one that testifies these things, when you look into the word.) I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.” The bright and morning star means that He is the first of God’s new creation, which would be the morning star He is talking about here. The bright and morning star. “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. (Different ones have gone over that, the Spirit and the Bride say, Come. They are so united at that time that there is something to see. That is the reason the speech is this way, that they say Come, because they have something for you to see.) And let him that heareth say, Come. (The ones that understand the message of the day and hour, let him say Come.) And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” The water of life is the Holy Ghost, as we have been taught. “For I testify unto every man that heareth, the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.” For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, people that hear and understand it. If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. If he adds anything to it. It is all revelation; it is all a prophecy. The book of Revelation is prophecy. “If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” What is it talking about there? If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book. “He that testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (This is John talking now.) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all. Amen.” I want to dwell on that 19th verse and see what leads up to this. If any man shall take from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book. See? He is taking away something from somebody that had something. In Revelation 3, starting with verse 1, “And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, (Which goes back to Revelation 1. Each one of these chapters start out with something from Revelation 1 in description of Jesus Christ. These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God….) and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.” They had a name that they lived, but they were dead. That Sardis age, which was Luther’s age, they were renegades. Many of them, after they understood, or thought they understood what Luther said, became renegades. Luther had to talk pretty mean to them, because they were not following what he was saying. They were not following the grace that he had found. They became a denomination, which God hates. God hates denominations because when a church or a people denominate, then they leave God out of the picture, they make their own bylaws. So it says here, “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.” Their deeds, their works, the things that God hates, He has not found them perfect. “Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” That 5th verse, he that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment. I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father and before His angels. That is the word that I want to hold on to. I want to go to Luke now, chapter 10. I have gone over this before, but I want to go over it again. I will start with the 1st verse. “After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” He is really praying for the future tense. “Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: (He is saying do not carry an extra pair of shoes, that is what He is really saying here.) and salute no man by the way.” Of course He is telling them there not to stop and gab. Because they have this important mission, and they had a certain amount of cities to go into before they would meet the Lord again. He wanted them to be busy about His business. “And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.” He is expecting some discernment out of them, where they are going. He is expecting them to know because they are going to be living from house to house. Maybe sometimes a few days in a certain place, or it may just be one day, and they are right out of that city because the city did not receive them. “And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.” He has told them, if the Son of peace be there, then that is where you go. He is talking about the spirit that will go before them, to let them know where to stay while they are in the cities. This is what He is saying here. He is telling them to eat and drink such things as they have because the labourer is worthy of his hire, they had no money, they went out without money. They had to eat such things as was given to them, because of the spirit that God had sent before them, in order for them to take of the things they did. “And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you.” Now He is telling them what to do. “And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.” In other words, He is giving them a promise there, to the ones that receive them in that city. “But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say, Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, (or on our shoes) we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.” These are the ones that did not receive them or was not going to receive them. He is giving them notice beforehand. “But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.” Then He goes into the things that I went into before. “Woe unto thee, Chorazin! Woe unto thee, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.” He is telling them that it would have been better off for Sodom and Gomorrah, it will be, then it would be for those rejecting them. Because really, they are receiving the word of the Lord that He sends them forth with, in order for them to understand and to teach. He has told them, do not take script, do not take anything with you, just be led by the Spirit of God. They did not have the Holy Ghost yet, but neither did the prophets. But then the anointing was upon them as they went into whatever city, or whatever town they went into. The anointing was upon them and the Holy Ghost would tell them whether they were received or would not be received. They are not just marking off a bunch of towns. They are waiting. There are seventy of them. There are thirty-five couples going into all the cities, because they go two by two. “But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you. And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.” I have gone over that. That was where Peter was brought up. “He that heareth you heareth me; (They were going to be anointed for that purpose. Though they did not have the Holy Ghost, neither did the prophets, but they were shown by the spirit of God what to say and how to deal with these people. Then leave them in that way. They were not to add their words to it or start some big conversation. Their conversation was going to be about Jesus Christ. Because He is talking about the kingdom of heaven, which the kingdom of heaven now is in you. But they are introducing this, telling the kingdom of heaven has come nigh unto you. He that heareth you heareth me…) and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.” He is going all the way back to the Father there, as He says this. “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” See? See what they are saying, through thy name were the devils subject unto us. “And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” See? He has done seen that spirit of Satan come down to earth, that it be not bothersome to them while they ministered. I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” See? He is giving them that promise that they were not hurt. “Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Bro. Jackson preached on this when he was preaching from Revelation 22 about the blotting out of certain people, whose names were written in heaven. That is why I read Revelation 3. As Bro. Jackson went over that, he said there will not be a lot of people blotted out, but there will be a few. This was the words he said that there will be a few that will be blotted out. “In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.” He is not talking about little children, He is talking about men, babes, because they are babes in the message that Jesus has sent them for. This is the first time He sent out seventy. This is the second time when He sent out twenty. When Bro. Jackson mentioned that, he brought Judas into the picture here when he was talking about the blotting out and rejoicing because your names are written in heaven. He was talking about Judas there, that his name was blotted out. You see a pattern here of what He is talking about. “All these are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see: For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.” Now I will go from there to the book of Hebrews, chapter 6. When the disciples were before Him, He told Judas there, sitting at the table, it would have been good that you never had been born. But he was a chosen person, he was chosen for that role. Jesus said to him when He was talking to the seventy, rejoice your names are written in heaven. “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; (In other words, there is more to it than just repentance. You can hear that from Dr. Stanley, who I do not listen to, I have heard some of his messages, I do not have anything against him. He is a Baptist on television. This is all these people preach, just conversion. They do not know any more and they do not have that right because they do not have baptism right. That is exactly what is talked about in Revelation 17, the mother of harlots and abominations. The abominations, as I said this morning, would be the independent groups that still claim the same thing, they still baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. They have never taken on the name of Jesus Christ. That makes them to be what they are, makes them to be harlots. Because they have never entered into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Therefore leaving the principles, he is talking about baptism and so on, of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection…) not laying again the foundation of repentance (That is just what they do, they lay down a foundation of repentance every time they meet. They are trying to get numbers. The more numbers they get, the happier they are. They think they are doing God’s work. But it is not really that. I am not saying all these people are bad. I do not know anything about their lives, but their teaching is sure not right. Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance…) from dead works, and of faith toward God.” This is the beginning of a Christian life. He is talking about the foundation of a Christian life, it has to be done, you have got to repent, and you have got to be baptized in order to receive the Holy Ghost. Then that is the principal of the doctrine of Christ. That is the very beginning of it all. But there is a lot more to it. “Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” See? This is what they graduate on, they have no other revelation. “And this will we do, if God permit.” Paul, even in Corinthians, it was a scale upward. You go from the very beginning and you are climbing. In the second part, he said, I have laid the foundation and another buildeth thereon. He said he had laid the foundation, but whenever you get into the latter chapter, he is talking about the gifts, he is talking about the resurrection, he is talking about judgment, he is talking about the trump shall sound and the dead in Christ shall rise first. He talks about all those things because he is on a scale upward. “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come.” See? They have gone through the whole thing. “If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” You see here the consequences of those that have gone all the way up unto the very formula of salvation, all the way unto the end. They have been able to go that far, but somewhere in their hearts, they have found something else. They have found that something was wrong, or something was going wrong. I remember a preacher years ago, whenever he left here, when he left Faith Assembly, he left because Bro. Jackson was changing the Bible. Bro. Jackson was not changing the Bible, he was going beyond the man’s understanding when he was bringing up the chronological order of Revelation. He was taking chapter 8 where it fit along with chapter 10, because in the 8th chapter we find in the very first verse, that is when the last seal is opened. But then chapter 10 is the results of it. But we find here where he said, it is impossible, he is not saying it is impossible for them to do that, but he is saying it is impossible for them to go that far and come out in the end and renew themselves. “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, (They have come to a knowledge of truth,) and have tasted of the heavenly gift, (the gift of the Holy Ghost) and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted of the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come.” They have experienced all of that and the powers, understanding of the world to come, the powers of the world to come. “If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” I remember Bro. Branham saying at one time, I indict the United States for crucifying Jesus Christ afresh. “For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God.” He is taking a natural thing now to show you what he has just talked about. “But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.” That does not sound very good. I am not saying who has done this or anything like that, I am not saying that. But I am just teaching you what the Bible says here that can happen. God knows whether it has happened or not. I am not talking about people that are following on and on with the Lord. There is no place that God is enjoying us giving up. We have got to keep our way going on and on. It is a climb, that is what it is, a climb to perfection. Some almost made it there, even tasted of the world to come. “But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, (Right? I am persuaded better things of you. That is an encouragement. I know some have talked about Paul, which is very dangerous and critical, that Paul was just a woman hater. He was just telling us how to keep ourselves in line with the word of God, that is all. He wants us to be right. Paul wants us to live right. He does not want us to become reprobates. He is talking here, he is filling in from the beginning to the end of a Christian life, he is talking about those that have received the good word of the Lord. But beloved, we are persuaded better things of you…) and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.” He knows he has spoken hard there. But the word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, it is cutting out the wrong, giving us the right, that we might be able to enjoy the blessings of God, though there would be a falling away. I like that, the 9th verse, I will go over it again, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation though we thus speak. “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and so minister.” This is a good time right now, and you have, a lot of you have gone the extra step for people, for some of the older people. The way I understand it, the ones that are 65 and older can start coming back to church on the 28th. Remember that, the 28th of this month. God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have showed toward His name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. “And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” Back to Revelation 22 again, verse 16. You will see why I said what I did, about what Bro. Jackson said about that there would be a few names that would be blotted out, just as Judas was. Jesus did not say anything to Judas whenever He called him. But He did say something when He said, do not rejoice because you have seen devils cast out and all, but rejoice because your name is written in heaven. “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. (That is why I said what I did a while ago, that is Jesus in angelic form right here. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. He did not have just one angel that He counted on. Look what happened when He was born. What happened? Angels of heaven came and rejoiced and sang Glory to God in the Highest, Peace on Earth, Good will toward Men. Would not that have also been His angels? But He is talking about the angelic spirit that He sent to John in the 1st chapter.) I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. (He is encouraging people, if you are thirsty, come. It is without money; it is without price. Let him that heareth say, come. And let him that is athirst come. If you are thirsty, something inside you keeps gnawing at you, you need more, you need something.) And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” So it is possible for ones to go all the way, then fall back. As Bro. Jackson said, not many, but there will be a few that will. But I am not talking to you tonight, I do not know of any of you that are ready to turn back. I am thankful for the saints of God, but this is a part of the word. “He that testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” See? John is ready. In the 5th chapter of Revelation, what did he say when he began to understand the meaning of the scroll that had not been opened? It was written on the back side, or the outside, and on the inside also. The back side would be the outside of it, but it was sealed. John, when he understood what had taken place when the Lamb went and took hold of the book and began to open it, then what did He do? He began to cry out so that everybody in heaven and everyone on earth, everyone in the bottom of the sea, wherever, heard His voice saying Amen, blessing and praising the Lord. God is not dull of hearing, but He likes to hear praises. This is why we were created. We were created for His praises. We were not created just to live on the earth and drink, eat all the fancy meals, just like they cannot wait until they get their bars open. People will drink more than they ever have now because they have to drown their sorrows. You do not drown sorrows; you live through them. You lift up the Lord even in sorrow, and in times of trouble as we are in right now. God is giving us a voice in this hour, a voice that lifts up His word, because our voice should be this voice. We do not need our own voice. I am not talking about words altogether. I am talking about a voice of praise to God wherever we are at. He should never leave our mind. Because He said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. From the time we wake up until the time we go to bed, He should be a thought in our mind. If we are too busy for that, we are too busy. I know there were times when I worked at Ford, I worked eleven- and one-half hours a day. But the thought of God never did leave my mind. Whatever you hear, it may be somebody that curses, yet this does not disturb the Holy Ghost in you. I used to know a man at the Tabernacle, if he worked some place and heard somebody curse, he walked out. So he never did keep a job. It was a good way to express yourself as a bum. I did not like to hear it, but it did not bother my thinking upon God. It does not make you happy. But there were a few times I was disturbed so much that I had to say something, because they just kept on with stuff. But I had to work. God bless you if you have to work around things like that. It was not all the time, more or less when I first started there. Then if you live right, you gain respect. They will make fun. You do not go around with them, but you still have to work with people, but you do not run around with them. When you leave that place, you leave it. You do not always carry everything with you as you walk out the door. There are some people, the job has much to do with their thinking through the day, through the night. But then the spirit of God still lingers with you. You are still in that mode. God has given us a great thing here in the endtime. Besides giving us life, He has given us peace, holiness in the time of trouble and the time of need. God is still good. I am going to stop at this time.
