Preached on July 12, 2020 – am
As I look into the word this morning, I want to go to Jude first of all. To me, it paints a picture of the day and hour in which we live. He is very concerned with what is going on because he is talking to the saints of God about what happened, and would happen, just as Paul did in Acts, chapter 20. I will go to the book of Jude first and see what he has to say about it all. It is something else how two men can peach a message and it agrees together, even though they are not close together. Some have said, especially one, that said I preach exactly what Bro. Jackson preached. But he read the Contender, then three months later he preached from the
Contender and said, I preach the same thing Bro. Jackson preached. Well, that do not always work. Because as the Bible says, your sins will find you out. In Jude here, we see a man who is a brother to James. Jude is more or less of the family of Jesus. Of course his name is really Judas, but it starts out as Jude here. “Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, (This is the way he starts his message here.) to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Mercy unto you, and peace and love, be multiplied.” The same story as with John, is with Jude, as with all the others that spoke. We have the book of James, the three books of John, then we have two books of Peter, and most of the books of Paul. Paul is really speaking to the first church age, which would be the Ephesian church age. The reason it is mentioned as the Ephesian church age, is because Ephesians, at the time of Paul being there, is the model church of that time. We see by the time of 96 A.D. that things are beginning to happen that is not well pleasing unto the Lord. He more or less does speak well of them, then He does say that He had somewhat against them because they had left their first love. Their first love had been diminished by things that were going on, things in the world that were happening, especially in Asia where the other churches were. They were all within a small radius of a country, the seven churches of Asia. This was a type of what would be in the church ages to come. So he was really dealing in these churches, all seven of them, Paul’s ministry had gone
there. We find by 96 A.D. that things had dropped off so much, to where in Laodicea, God is not having anything to do with it. This is a replica of what happened in the ministry of Bro. Branham by 1963. Because God closed the door on the denominational world, but we find it was not long after that, that the Catholic church began to speak in tongues and all, it went up into Canada and around other places. But the statement was made by Bro. Jackson, wait and see what happens. Now we see that it did not last very long. Because it was not really ordained of God. God has a lot to do with a lot of things, but He does not ordain a lot of the things that men do, especially in the church world. Here he goes on in this, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend (That is why we have the Contender publication, which has gone around the world. It had to be for a purpose, for the people to contend for the faith that was once delivered, for what will happen before the end comes. All these little differences in people that cannot get over things, sometimes if people do not walk, they will walk along the edge, which is very dangerous. It is just like the other day, there was a woman who was at the Grand Canyon. They had a little fence around a certain part. This woman stepped over the fence to take pictures and she fell and lost her life. That is what can happen if we do not watch our walk with God, because our walk with God is more important than our daily
walk, how we would walk in this human flesh. So God is watching for that. Here he is talking about the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend….) for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” Jude is one of the last ones to speak. You find the book of Peter, the last book of Timothy, it is all 66 A.D. that is about the end of what the apostles wrote before John did in 90 A.D. when he wrote the three books of John. There is sort of an ending of it when Paul is taken from the scene, when he gives his life. So I emphasize this again this morning, do not walk too close to the edge because there is a bluff just beyond that. We want to be care not to do that. “For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” We see the happenings today, that people really do not care for the Lord Jesus Christ, and they do not care for God. Whenever people can look up into the heavens and curse God, as some have done in their marches and protests, they think they are big. They are just about ground level, which is just about what they are, they are the snakes that crawl in the dirt, for people who go that far with what they are doing. “I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that
believed not.” We remember that. He goes on into this to tell just what really happened, as we go on further with the word here. Then he goes ahead to talk about the angels. “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, (They had a habitation there with Lucifer. They had everything that was needed, just as you have everything that was needed in the word of God, they had everything needed to be bright, and morning, and shining stars. But something happened to them. They left their first estate, left their own habitation…) he hath reserved in everlasting chains (They are reserved. Many of them are reserved, they have never seen the light of day since that time. I know there are fallen angels that have. But many of them here, as he says here, left their habitation, and they are under chains, he hath reserved in everlasting chains…) under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.” They are chained in darkness. They are not necessarily in hell, because that will be their last state, hell, or you might say the lake of fire, which really turns out to be the same thing whenever it is all emptied out. Because hell is cast into the lake of fire, which already burns. It is already in the heart of the earth, but the souls of them that are there are kept in a separate place until the day of judgment. When the judgment comes then their spirits are brought out, and their lives are brought out to be judged. The Bible says, know ye not that we shall judge angels. Judgment of angels will be the life that we have lived and the way that we have walked our lives, in
order to be able to judge angels, those fallen angels. “Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, (You know what that means. Sodom and Gomorrah, going after strange flesh.) are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Everlasting fire, eternal fire is a substitute for everlasting, because hell is not eternal. So we are looking at it in that way. “Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.” It is in the streets of America today. They do not want to be told what to do. It is just like a man in Utah, supposedly a Republican, Mitt Romney, he ran for president. The man has lost his equilibrium. Because of the way he is acting, he has already said that he would vote for Biden. He is just a scab, which is all he is, he is not somebody that could be trusted with anything. Because he lost the race, now he has it in for Trump. He was never for Trump. I am not here to preach President Trump this morning, but I am here to say that there are some things that are right and some things that are wrong. Many people today walking the streets are on the bandwagon of the wrong. How distasteful it was this week when they printed Black Lives Matter on the street right in from of Trump towers. There was the mayor and his wife, some of the others that are out in mockery, trying to make an image out of America of what it never did come to be. But they are out there to
destroy all our history, the history we have in times past, they are out to destroy it by getting rid of all the monuments and things of that nature. It is disrespectful what they are doing. These filthy dreamers defile the flesh and despise dominion. They do not want anybody to tell them what to do. They just walk the streets with rage in their hearts today. Even the mayor in Louisville went down in the west end to cut a ribbon for an apartment building. They want to get rid of the police force. He got down there and there were around a hundred demonstrators that ganged up around him. He got so afraid that he had to call the police. What if the police had not been there? He was afraid they were going to attack him and maybe kill him. The police are not needed as long as there is nothing going on. But let something start happening, that is the first people they will call, because they are calling them for protection. But when they did not need them, they would speak against them in every way they could. They would ridicule them. I realize that there are things that have been wrong, I know that. But not all police are in that category. They said it was maybe one in one hundred. Look at the world today, how they are going against our flag. Somebody commented the other day when we had the flag up here on screen. There were people that liked that. But there are those that tromp on it, burn it. They burned a flag as they pulled down the Washington monument. They put a flag on it, poured something on it that would burn it. God is going to burn somebody one of these days if they do not watch. “Yet
Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.” We do not have the right to get out here and rebuke these things as far as our concern is. But the Lord rebuke them. That is what I say today, the Lord rebuke these devilish things that are going on today in the streets of America. “But these speak evil of those things which they know not:(So many people are marching today that do not even know why they are. Somebody is paying them to do so, otherwise they could not exist. Some of these rich people that have a lot of money are paying poor people to get out there and march and to show themselves, because it is speaking for them. They do not want things to go right in America. If things go right, then their agenda will not be carried out. Because what they want, as it says, war in the streets. They have done said that, if it takes war to get Trump out of office, let it be. What is wrong with people? What is wrong with their minds, that they have so corrupted themselves in that way, that they do not care for America. Five or six months ago things were going well. Then this virus came along. This other thing happened right after that. Nobody should have to have somebody’s knee on them to kill them. This should not happen in America. But the thing about it is, people just build up on something like that and go crazy with it. But these speak evil of those things they know not…) but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, (The spirit of Cain is alive in America today. Whenever it speaks of
brute beasts, Cain was half beast. He was half man and half beast; he had a half soul. As Bro. Jackson said, he was soulish. He did not know what kind of gift to give. If he had looked at Able, he would have. If this church world had looked at William Branham, they would be different today. If the Branham move had listened to him, they would be different today, but they did not listen. As brute beasts, this is a spirit that is in this world today. If all happened back in the 4th chapter of Genesis, when Cain walked away from God. He had his opportunity, God talked to him. No doubt in my mind, God has talked to some of these people today. There are even ministers that He has talked to. About eighty five percent of preachers today in these big churches know better, but they will not speak it because they would lose their congregation. Do you think they would preach from the book of Jude today? This is not popular with the world.) in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, (Balaam had every chance and opportunity, even when the beast he was riding on spoke to him with man’s speech. He was so delirious in his mind when this animal spoke to him, he did not know what to do. God can use animals, and He does. Female animals are not acting like the women of today. If they did, there would not be any reproduction. Male animals do not act like men do today.) and perished in the gainsaying of Core.” Now let’s go back to Genesis 4. There is a little heading
above the 16th verse here, the first civilization. This is completely opposite to the Adam line, but I see where it leads to. “And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, (He did not want it anymore because it convicted him. He had killed his brother; he was a murderer. God puts this in the Bible for education for us, to the world.) and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.” This would be Persia. Bro. Jackson told us that. Cain went across the river, on the east of Eden. Eden was where the four parts of the rivers go together, Euphrates and so on. This is where Eden was. But he went east of Eden, across the Euphrates into the land of Nod, Persia. “And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: (Listen to the names, much of them sound just like the sons of God.) and he builded a city, (the first city ever built,) and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mahugael began Methuselah: (See how close the names are.) and Methusael begat Lamech.” Go on down the line, it sounds the same, it sounds good. Here is where polygamy begins. “And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle. And his brother’s name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.” I love Christian organ music, but they have used the organ for the horror movies. I can imagine what
it all was about, kind of like the music of today, or what they call music. It was just a horror film that they were looking at in that time. “And Zillah, she also bare Tubal-cain, an instructor of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah. And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, (How many generations has it gone there? Seven. This is the seventh generation. As I read in the book of Jude, we find that Enoch was the seventh from Adam. I see a parallel here as time has come along, because after the seventh generation of Cain, there is no more mentioned. Something happens right there. As Enoch is the seventh from Adam, he sees something that is going on here for God to take him out. It has to get this way before God takes us home. As it was in the days of Noah, as it was in the days of Lot. We see the parallel here today, which is being justified. You have homosexual preachers in pulpits today. You have them running governments. The Black Lives Matter movement, the gays and lesbians have joined together with that for advantage. The more, the merrier. Bro. Branham said that before the end comes women would be walking the streets wearing nothing but a fig leaf. If this lasts another three years, you will see it in the streets of America. Parts of America is already that way. The more vile and more vulgar they can be is what they are pleased with. Lamech said unto his wives…) Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.”
Somewhere he crossed the river. No doubt the reason this is mentioned here is because of what he said here, he has gone across the river a killed one of the sons of God. “If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.” Murder happens among them again. In America today, hardly anything is mentioned when a policeman is assaulted, and since this thing has started there have been nine hundred cases, and nineteen killed. Cain’s line did not care for life. He did not care for life. Can we prove that it was one of the sons of God? Why would he have been wandering about? Enoch saw this. He saw what was going on. The thing about it was that it just drew him closer to God instead of further away. This is a type of the Bride of Jesus Christ. When the seventh church age is ending, then the Bride of Jesus Christ is going to go away. If there is something, anything in your life, confess it before the Lord and get it out of the way. I am not talking just to Faith Assembly. I am talking to whoever is hearing this today. This is strange that I would say things like this, because it is really not in my nature, it is not in the message I feel that I have been given, but I see something here that is going on. Because since this thing has come and people have not been able to gather together, then they can get used to it. Well I have just been watching this for this long, so why not keep on doing just that? The Bible says to gather together when you see that day come. We see it coming. There is no reason why we cannot. I would rather be here and hear the word of the Lord,
than I would be anywhere else. When I had that spell six or seven months ago, then I could not be here. I was so glad that I had a means to be able to see the service during that time. So here we have seven generations. There are seven generations to Enoch. There is something here because by the time you get to seven generations to Lamech, then the thing has just spread. The women have begun to cross the river. The sons of God looked upon the daughters of men because they were fair, because they wore no clothes. It is bad to have to talk like this, but that is exactly what was happening. That is why they are stripping off today. They have to be like this. Let’s go back to the book of Jude. Verse 12, “These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, (I have told this before, this fellow from the east went out to the plains of the west. He went out there to visit a friend which had always lived there. He got out in the countryside riding horses, clouds came up. This fellow from the east said, we better get in, it is going to rain. The fellow that lived there looked at the clouds and said, no, it is just a bunch of empties. Clouds without water.) carried about of winds; (all the winds of doctrine) trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots.” I remember when things began to happen in the Branham Tabernacle. Some of you others may remember that. Bro. Neville was preaching one day and said, it is hard to preach to twice dead people. That statement stuck with
me. Plucked up by the roots. “Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.” My, just think. Darkness where demons dwell. It is where some people are today across America. The blackness of darkness, who wants to be a part of that? “And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.” I know this is hard, but listen to what Enoch said, listen to what Jude said, listen to what Paul said. Why am I preaching this? Get away from this evil world. You live in it, but you do not have to be a part of it. Now listen to what it says, “To execute judgement upon all, (ten thousands of His saints, for what? To execute judgment. Know ye not that we shall judge angels. To execute judgment upon all…) and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, (Listen to Enoch.) and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, (They are on television today, preachers with swelling words. People go out and say, I have never heard anything like this, it makes me feel religious. Did Cain ever start killing animals for his sins? Never. He started building cities. He started planning ahead for this world, while Enoch is getting ready to go. We are Enoch today, we are his seed, we are getting ready to
go. This is the seventh church age, the end of it. Their mouth speaketh great swelling words…) having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.” How many people today are speaking of William Branham that do not believe the message? It is all for advantage. How many today are speaking of Raymond Jackson, for advantage? You can quote him, whatever you want to do, but if you are not a part of the message, then you have no part of what they were. You will never speak truth because it is not in you. You have to have it in you to preach it. Having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage. How true that is today. Verse 11, “Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.” Verse 17, “But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Here he brings in the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ, what they taught, what they preached. He is reminding them of it. There is something going on in 66 A.D. causing him to speak the words that he does. You can see it in Romans 20 where Paul speaks. “How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.” I am just saying what the Bible says. “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, (There is something
here, we have to keep ourselves in that word, in that anointing. Keep yourselves in the word of God, keep yourselves in the love of God…) looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” There is an old song that we used to sing, what would you give in exchange for your soul. “And of some having compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, (Maybe this is a message of fear this morning.) pulling them out of the fire; (I remember a doctor back in the 1980’s. He was the second most recognized surgeon in Oklahoma. This preacher came and talked to him. The doctor would mock him, and talk against him, belittle him. Then one day he had an awful bad thing wrong with his stomach. He told how he began to look for a doctor to operate on him, because he did not trust all doctors. He was a doctor himself, a surgeon. So when he was operated on, he felt himself dying. He said that all night long he looked down through a tunnel, at the end of it there was fire. He could see the flames coming up. He would pull himself back. This went on all night until finally at daybreak there was a release. Do you know who he called for? The preacher that he had ridiculed. The man was healed and told his story for many years after until he finally did die. Pull them out of the fire. If you get too close this morning, I want to pull you, come a little closer. Do not get too acquainted with the world. What we are doing in our lives, we are breeding the same thing into our children. Like father, like son, like mother, like daughter. What do we talk about before our children? I
do not know anything, that is not why I am saying that this morning. But just do not get too close to the edge, because there is a fire there. He said, pulling them out of the fire…) hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” Remember what it says in the 5th chapter of Ephesians? He is coming after a church that is washed in the water of the word. What is he talking about? He is talking about things of this nature, being washed by the water of the word. Let me ask you a question this morning. This is getting personal; how do you feel about your brother or sister? If there is something wrong, cannot we make it right? Do we have to live with a grudge? I know this is plain, but I will not keep it up, I have other things to preach. “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” I have more scriptures, but we will get to them at another time.

TextI said something to Bro. David this morning about the city of Jerusalem, of course the United States is right in the heart of Jerusalem. Did you know that? J-e-r-U-S-A-l-e-m. Maybe there was a reason why that was put there like that, because we do care for Jerusalem. The United States, a lot of the leadership today, would be glad to put the embassy back where it was in Tel Aviv. But that is 2
not going to work. It will not work with the Israeli people because they have declared Jerusalem to be their capital, which it always was. President Trump has declared it to be the capital of Israel and put our embassy there. We thank the Lord for the good of that. God is always doing whatever He would desire to do in the hearts of His children. There are certain things that would be kind of difficult for people, as far as being able to be here, but everybody is able to be here now. As I look around, some have chosen otherwise. I read the scripture from Jude the other day, talking about pulling some out of the fire, I feel that the feet of some people are burning right now, and they need to be pulled out. The things of the world are entering in to where people have other things to do on their weekend, other than coming to church. You are fooling yourself today by doing something like that. If there is any way we can, we will pull you out of the fire. I see these things happening and it is really sad to see that people are losing interest. When you lose interest, you are not losing interest in Faith Assembly, you are losing interest in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. That may be hard to hear for some, but I am ordained here today to preach the truth to you and to tell you when everything is not exactly the way it should be. I am not talking about somebody that has to miss every so often. Sometimes people do have to miss, but when they receive the opportunity to come back, there are right on schedule. The devil will make people use any kind of excuse to not be here. But excuses do not meet God’s
criteria. I know there are people today that would probably feel better being home and laying in the bed, but you have made it out. That is very good. Today I am still on the same subject as I was before. I see agreement between all these apostles and what they had to say, from the book of 1st John, to Jude, to Romans. These are the scriptures I have; 1st Corinthians and 2nd Peter. See how much in agreement these men are, with one another. I know there has been a lot of disagreement on what we stand for here at Faith Assembly, but we cannot change truth. Others may say, well we have truth. What is your truth? As was said the other night about Paul not seeing the two phases of the coming of the Lord. Matthew 24 does tell the difference there, it looks like the same, but it is not the same. We will go to Matthew 24 in a minute, and we will see the difference here. Even though Paul did not understand it, Jesus in verse 27 and 28, then from 29 through 31, tells you the endtime, the end of the seven-year period of time. The first part, “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” So shall also the coming of the Son of man be. “For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.” That is talking about Revelation 10, the eagles there, whenever Jesus came back to open the seventh seal in angelic form. I always have to put that in there, because people will accuse me of something else. Jesus will come back in angelic form to claim His own, to claim the Bride. But
then it says, “Immediately (This is another coming. The first is verses 27 and 28, the first coming. Let me go over that again. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. That is where you find that two shall be in the bed, one shall be taken, and the other left. One shall be taken and the other left. Then in 29 it says, Immediately…) after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.” When it talks about the powers of heaven, that is the powers of darkness, the powers that are in control. “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven (This is when the last part of the tribulation happens, whenever Armageddon has taken place. Not when Armageddon takes place, but when Armageddon has taken place, then whenever man has come together from the east and the west to meet in Israel, then there will be the sign of the coming of the Son of man. Then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven…) with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels (then, after the sign of His coming with His Bride, chapter 19 of Revelation, when He comes with His Bride. That has been explained at different
times… He shall send His angels…) with a great sound of a trumpet, (the trumpet, which will be the last trumpet,) and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, (That is the foolish virgins that have died and gone on. This is coming back after the dead, the great multitude, the foolish virgins, the Jews that went through their ordeal in the holocaust, this is when He comes back for them. But the Bride is already in heaven with the Bridegroom. They shall gather together His elect from the four winds…) from one end of heaven to the other.” We see here the two comings that He is talking about. The dead in Christ, as Bro. Jackson said, this is all part of the first resurrection. Because we read in Revelation 20, they that are in the first resurrection will not be a part of the ones that will be raised there for judgment. They will be raised in their natural bodies there at the end of the Millennium, they will be raised in their natural bodies to receive their punishment. They are not going to be raised in beauty, they will be raised in some kind of degraded nature. The Bride of Jesus Christ is going to come back in their natural bodies, which is a spiritual body. The difference is that the body is changed, changed to be eternal. Not changed from what it is, for what it was meant to be. In the beginning if you go back to Genesis 1:31, then we find that when this all happens, then the tree of life is going to be heaven. Because the tree of life is in the hearts and minds of the people of God right now. We are a part of that tree of life. Paul explains this in the 9th chapter of Romans. In his
way of thinking, he tells you there in the last part of that, what is going to happen all the way into the Eternal Age, as being brethren of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will be head over the family. Remember that. He is never brought down to a natural man as far as working the earth. The ones that will work the earth are the ones that go out of the Millennium, which have lived through that Millennium. There has been many born during that time. Then they go into the Eternal Age. God has already taken the water that is upon this earth, up to make a canopy. Kind of like it would have been back before the flood came, because the water came up out of the earth and watered the ground by dew. The moisture from God’s canopy came up out of the ground, because there was a hovering of water over this earth. I have mentioned this at different times, I saw a weatherman talking about the rivers that are up above us. There are mighty rivers that are up above us that are in the atmosphere. That is what it will be again. Let us go to a different scripture now, in 2nd Peter, 2nd chapter, 1st verse. “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, (damnable heresies. We look at the gospel, and Jesus’s prayer in John 17, as He prayed, He said, I pray not for the world. What is He talking about? He is not praying for the multitude of people. I know they say we have to love everybody. That is the saying. And we have to forgive everybody. Bro. Jackson made a statement one time, he said,
what if they do not want forgiveness? There are people today, do you think this bunch out here protesting, making trouble, do you think they want forgiveness? They are happy in the state they are in. They do not care for America; they want to change it. They do not love the flag because of what it stands for. When we look at the state of American youth today, I am not talking about my brothers and sisters, I am not talking about young people that want to do what is right. There are some out there that do not want to go along with it because there has to be people go into the Millennium that will not go along with this thing. They may be silent in what they are doing, but they are not going to accept it. They say that a young person just out of high school still has some choices that they can make, but the same survey said that ninety five percent of college students, I did not say a hundred percent, they said ninety five percent of college students do not love America. They have been taught against America in the colleges where they go. Young people, if you go to college, make sure you know what you believe. Just go there to get an education and leave the garbage alone. Because it is garbage. Now they are talking about, some of the places may not even open, Harvard, and some of those places may not even open for school. Because they want to study online. I have something to say about that this morning because of what has been said in the news this past week. They said they do not want children back in school because their parents can find out what they are teaching them. If they school
online, then the parents do not know what they are putting forth, because they are putting evil on there, from the teachers. It is about the homosexual experience and all such things, they are putting it online, teaching five-year-old children, girls and boys, to undress in front of each other. They are devils, which is all they are. It is ready for the garbage heap. Am I supposed to love that? That is why Jesus would say what He did. He said, I pray not for the world, but for them that you have chosen out of the world. We are a privileged people today. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privately shall bring in damnable heresies…) even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.” Whenever it comes, it will be swift. They will not even know what has hit them. God’s judgment will be upon the earth. What does it say in the 6th chapter of Ephesians? It tells you there to take the whole armor of God. “And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.” This way is hated. Anyone that would stand up against the evil that is going on has a black mark upon them. Many shall follow their pernicious ways by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. “And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: (You are just merchandise to them. You are very lowly esteemed of the world today. Even if you name the name of Jesus Christ, or call upon God the Father, you are very
lowly esteemed. We sing the song, this world is not my home, I am just passing through, that is the truth. The Bible said, love not the world. What is He talking about? Love not the world, neither the things in the world. Those are two different things, love not the world, neither the things in the world.) whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.” Is this easy preaching? Is this something that would be preached today in the big churches? You can take a marking pen and mark through all the scriptures they do not use, and you would not have much left. As the Bible said, they have pleasure in unrighteousness. “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment.” That is the same thing that Jude said. These men were not copying after one another, this was given by inspiration. “And spared not the old world, (which is talking about the flood) but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.” The scripture, God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him, should have eternal life. Whosoever believeth on Him would have eternal life. Everybody is not going to believe. God’s desire was to see righteousness. It was to see holiness. But then God said, it repents me that I have made man. This may not be appetizing this morning, but it is something that all the apostles looked at. Paul said, I believe it is in the 9th
chapter of Romans, where he said, I fought with beasts at Ephesus. Beasts, that is the same thing that Jude saw. Just as in Romans 1, we have gone over that. The Lord willing, I plan to preach this, this morning and tonight. It may not be appetizing to some people, but I want to show you this morning what the world is. “And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly.” This is coming. The nation we are living in is at war this morning. This election, whatever it brings, whether it would be Trump or Biden that wins, there is going to be problems. Because people are upset today about everything. There is nothing pleasing today about the America we are living in because they have invited all these people from overseas into the country that do not love the country. I heard a Muslim who had been converted to Christianity. I have heard it said that ten percent of the Muslims are problems. He said if anything comes about, it will not be ten percent, he said it would be eighty five percent of Muslims, converted to Christianity. “And delivered just Lot, vested with the filthy conversation of the wicked.” Women are taking their little girls into these people who are rioting, and all they are hearing is curse words, dirty words that only the devil would hatch up. “For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds.” Bro. Branham said he was the type of the foolish
virgin. He said Billy Graham and Oral Roberts were as the two angels that went to Sodom, which blinded the people. The message they put forth blinded the people. Oral Roberts had a great healing message in the beginning. He went to Bro. Branham. Bro. Branham said he had a little old, ragged tent. He went to Bro. Branham and asked him if the Lord would hear his prayers as he had Bro. Branham’s. He told him, if you are obedient. But all he had was a healing message. Then in the later 1960’s he went on television. He had dancers, dancing women dressed in flowing outfits, half uncovered. I saw it on television. But I remember the last meeting that Billy Graham had in Louisville, Kentucky. He had some singers to come there. He used to have great singers, different ones to sing at his meetings. This time he had a bunch of these crazy singers, which is what I will call them. We get messages every week, them wanting to come to Faith Assembly. The doors are closed to such as that. The doors are closed to foolish singing. Do not ever try to bring it in here, it will not work. The messages they send will show a picture of them. They look like Duck Dynasty. People on Duck Dynasty may be good people, but I cannot stand the way they look. If you look like the world, then you are part of it. “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.” God knows how to separate. He knew how to separate Lot from that bunch. I do not know why Lot stayed there. Why did he stay there? Because he was sitting in the
gate. They made him royalty. The only royalty we want is what God gives us when this is over. I remember the last time a certain time a certain man sat on this platform. He sat right here. There was a certain woman that saw me and him in a dream. I was sitting here in a regular chair, and he was sitting here in a king’s chair. He thought he was. Make me like Moses, is what he said. It would be alright if it was truth. Whenever we go seeking some kind of elevation among a spiritual people, as Paul said, I have taken no man’s money. I have not taken this, and I have not taken that. My desire is now and always has been, that Faith Assembly would prosper in God. I have done my best to make it where it would be a prosperous church. Faith Assembly has helped me travel around this world, but I have not gone out after these big things and put big signs up, things of that nature, just to let everybody know that I am pastor. I said whenever they put the sign up, I said, just put Faith Assembly Church, so that when people go down I65 will know this is a church. It is a “Faith Assembly” today. We are here by faith, faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, for the glory of God the Father. That is why we are here. We are not here to build ourselves up to some great reputation, but it has become something that the world has looked at for truth. I have no other desire than to bring truth to you. I am not here to make everybody love me. I am here today to tell you the truth, then you will love truth. All God’s people will love truth. As a minister that has been called of God, I know I was called, I was
called when I did not know anything. I remember the first time I ever preached was at Cincinnati Ohio, in an independent church. It was where I was going to church at the time. I was raised up as a Methodist. It never did mean that much to me. I called the preacher and told him; I feel like I have been called to preach. I had not been a Christian that long. He said, well, I think you should wait on that awhile. I said to him, I was given some scriptures, Luke 4, where Jesus was tempted. He said, if you have been given scriptures, then come and preach. That is the only time I ever remember asking somebody to preach for them. I know there have been interruptions here at Faith Assembly by people that come here thinking they had a message. Bro. Jackson told them to sit down. They wanted to make themselves known, wanting to make themselves a name. You do not have to make a name; God will make it for you if you have anything. God has called a ministry here at Faith Assembly, brothers of like faith. “But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, (This is an hour of that today, uncleanness. But we have been washed by the water of the word, getting these unclean ideas and opinions out of our head, giving the grace of God a chance to live in our lives.) and despise government. (No president that has ever lived has had to go through with what President Trump has from the Democrat party and the media. It had to be ordained of God for this hour, for the help, the benefit that he is. I am not talking about righteousness; I am talking about what he has done for this nation and how
he stood for Israel.) Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Whereas angels, which are great in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. But these, as natural brute beasts, (Cain’s line) made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption.” In their own corruption. “And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. (Think about it.) Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children. Which have forsaken the right way, and gone astray, following the way of Balaam (for reward. That is what Jude said, for reward. Following the way of Balaam…) the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness.” He sold Israel out, knowing what he was doing. It took a dumb animal to stop him, speak to him, it looks like that would have woken him up, just an old donkey talking to him. If they are not going to listen to a donkey, they are not going to listen to us. “But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet. These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. For when they speak
great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them that the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. (That goes to the people who have heard this message.) But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.” I will finish now and hope to finish this up tonight.
