CONTENDER: From Here To Eternity – Part 10

Preached on August 2, 2020, AM Service

Rev. James C. Allen

We are watching situations in the world today because there is a lot going on. There is an election coming up, only ninety-some days away now. They are looking to elect a president. There is one that is running that cannot get out of his basement, but he has other people that are running the campaign for him, because all he is going to be is a figurehead. He will not really be a person to run the country, it will be ran by different ones, with his name on it. The man is unable to carry on a conversation. He is unable to carry on a debate, so they are wanting to skip the debates now. But somewhere, somebody has to be responsible for what is happening. But we praise the Lord this morning for the opportunity we have.

There has been much going on around the nation today. I heard a certain congressman from a certain state this morning, they were talking to him about the things going on in Portland, Oregon. He said all that is going on is not connected to the Black Lives Matter movement. But we know that it is. I do not know how they can just cover up their faces and not see what is going on. There are a lot of things that have been happening, especially in the last six months, which are unbelievable. We knew something was going to take place in the country that was going to bring all our troops home. Bro. Jackson said that twenty years ago, that the troops would have to come home for Israel to stand alone. They will be standing alone, but God will be with them. As Bro. Branham said, God and one make a majority. We have many concerns about different things, but we should never let it get in the way of our Christian life. The way we are looking toward the future for the believers, we have a lot in our future, but we do not know what we will have to go through before that glorious future comes. Bro. Branham talked about it, he said the Bride will not go through the tribulation because he said man cannot put his bride before tribulation before he marries her, if he did, she would not marry him. He was talking about the great tribulation, but there are going to be tribulations that will come to us between now and then that will not be the great tribulation. Just because we have trials and tests, things of that nature, we do not know just how far they are going to go, but we know that before that great tribulation comes, we will be gone.

We thank the Lord for that, because we realize there will be people who must go through that. The foolish virgins, and those Jews, who will have to give their lives according to the 14th and 15th chapters of Revelation. Then you look at that group of people, especially as you see in the 14th chapter, the message that is preached by that 144,000, will be preached to the foolish virgins and the Jews as well as others from their home countries that will make it through. The woman of Revelation 12 will flee to a country where she is safe. If this be that country, there will have to be a lot of things happen between now and then, which will not take a very long period of time. If this be the nation, they will have to go through struggles to get to that place. The way we see it now in this nation, there are many things that are going on, that will not be going on at that time.

As it is talked about in Revelation 12, about her fleeing into the wilderness. I remember when I was young, still in my teenage years, the radio stations (they were not like they are today), they talked about this nation as being a nation grown out of a wilderness country. They taught that on the secular radio back at that time, during the 50’s. But now everything about this nation, they are wanting to destroy it and make a new nation out of it, where it will be run by ungodly men, by people that want to change it to be more socialist. But one man who used to be a so-called socialist, he said there is no such thing as socialism, he said it is communism. I believe that this morning.

Many of these people are inspired in that direction today, that are trying to make a way for this nation to be run in a socialist manner. If they would look at Venezuela twenty years ago, it was a nation that had everything, that wanted for nothing, even gasoline was twelve or thirteen cents a gallon, because they had a large oil supply. Now their inflation has gone up a million percent, in just that short time. It is because of the leadership. I guarantee that if the leadership of this country gets their way about it, the US will be something along the same lines as Venezuela. But I believe somewhere there will be an intervention by God’s Will, before it gets to that point. But we will still have to go through some things before we get out of here. Paul speaks about that, about the Bride being tried and tested. He spoke of that in many of his writings.

I am still on the subject I have been on, which I started weeks ago. I want to look at the things that will be happening in the near future. Let us go to Revelation 21. This is my starting point this morning. You might say, ‘well you have gone over this before, Bro. Jackson and Bro. Branham both, have gone over this before.’ Not so much by Bro. Branham, but by Bro. Jackson. Bro. Branham dealt more with the beginning of the book of Revelation: the Laodicean age (which he was a part of), and the seals. He did not deal with chapter 10 or with chapter 21, but he did touch on different things that would happen. Bro. Jackson dealt with much of Revelation, from the seals on through to the end of the book, Chapter 22. He did not deal with much in Chapter 22, but he did with Chapter 21. That chapter became a revelation to him.

I remember that all of this was preached when the time was right. I have the scripture written down (Daniel 12) where God told Daniel, close the book and seal it until the time of the end. God meant that it would not be expressed. There were a few things that were talked about. I remember earlier, around the time of the church ages coming into focus, there was a Dr. Dehaan that talked about the seven church ages, but he did not have the full picture of it. Then the first time Bro. Branham dealt with the seals he said he preached all of them in one sermon, at one time. But when the revelation of those six seals came, it took a week of sermons to go through them. Then on Sunday, as he was preparing to talk about the seventh, he was shown that it was not time. So, the seventh seal was NOT opened. People came to church that morning expecting to see the seventh seal preached, but he had nothing on it. He said he did not, because it was closed to him, because it was really for another time. That was in 1963 when he dealt with it. Here we are many years later.

He talked about 1977, that he believed it would all be over by 1977. But in 1962 he said, it could last another generation. There were things hinted at and things that were brought in back at that time, that people did not listen to. They did not catch it because they had their minds on a certain thing. I remember being down at a restaurant with my wife, and Bro. & Sis. Jackson and some others. There was a certain man that believed it would be all over in 1977, and it was already in the early 1980’s. He was talking about the things that were happening and Bro. Jackson just turned around and said to him: Bro. Branham said according to time, the ways things were going that it would be over in 1977. The man replied, well, how do you know if it is 1977 yet, or not? That was in the early 1980’s. They want to make scripture fit their own revelation.

Revelation 21

Eternal Age: verses 1,3-8

I will go on into this because there are really three parts of this. There is a part of the Bride, then there is a part of the Eternal Age, when the Millennium is over. You see it here. He deals with it in the first verses. But he is dealing with the Bride also in the first verses, on through verse 8. Then you go into verse 9, then he is dealing with the Bride only. “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: (Which is the time after the Millennium is over.) for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; (The reason we see this is dealing with the Eternal Age is this next part of the verse. Because it says…) and there was no more sea.” This is all taken care of during the Millennium. The oceans that we now have will be drawn back up into the sky where they were in the very beginning before the flood. Some people would say that there was a perfect climate before the flood. But it was not perfect everywhere. When Adam and Eve were here, there was a perfect climate where they were. But you still had the north pole and south pole which were covered with ice. It took this for God to cool the earth. That ice was God’s air conditioner. We find when the flood came, it covered the earth with water. Before that time there were only seas of water, not oceans of water. It has been proven by scientists that there was a society before the flood ever came, that there was an inhabited earth. There had to be. We know when the flood came there were forty days and forty nights of rain. That is where the oceans came from. But this says here, there will be no more sea. There will be no more oceans.

As Bro. Jackson went into it, there will be some seas, bodies of water, like there are in distinct parts of the north country. There will be bodies of water, but they will not be these big oceans because the water will be pulled back up into the heavens as a canopy. When God formed the heavens and the earth, He made the earth for man. Man could not live on a planet that was all iced over or that was all desert. He could not do it because he had to have these other elements in order to live. But it says here, no more sea. What it really means, is that there are no more oceans.

“And I John saw the holy city, (Now he is talking about the Bride. This one verse in these first eight verses.) new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” It says here, as a Bride adorned for her husband. She is adorned with what? She is adorned with the clothing that it mentions there in the 19th chapter, white raiment (fine linen). Now he goes ahead to talk about the end of the Millennium again. “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, (God is now tabernacled with men. We realize in the Millennium that Jesus Christ will be the main character, with God being the Guide. But it is Jesus and the Bride that we are looking at during the Millennium of time because they are setting up an order that will be lived by throughout eternity. I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men…) and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself (God himself) shall be with them, and be their God.” That is talking about the Eternal Age there. Then we go on to the next verse, “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; (That is talking about the natural people that have gone through that Millennium time. A thousand years earlier the foolish virgins had been taken up, they had gone to their place of abode. Then God shall wipe away all tears from the natural people’s eyes. Of course, he is talking about what they have gone through in that last period of time when the devil is turned loose, as Gog and Magog, at the end of the Millennium. There are going to be many people that die there. I am sure there will be some tears shed by people who were acquainted with and related to those that die. Because it will be a hurtful situation that they are going through at that time.) and there shall be no more death, (See? He is going all the way past the Millennium there to the great white throne judgment. There shall be no more death…) neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: (There is pain during the Millennium.) for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. (God makes a quick work of making everything new. The people that are living during that time are not going to die, the Bride of Jesus Christ is not going to die for this change to come. But the change will come when all the death and everything is over with.) I am Alpha and Omega, (Which is God) the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” This is when Jesus Christ is our elder brother. Then we are all sons and daughters of God. “But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, (He is talking about the great white throne judgment again.) and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: (See? This is over now. The lake of fire is over here, as far as death to the human species is concerned. Of course, the lake of fire goes on for a period of time. …shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone) which is the second death.” He goes back to finish up that second death in that, after he has talked about what is going to happen to the saints of God, all those that make it through that time, even to the ones that go through to the end, which are natural people that go over into the Eternal Age.

The Bride: verses 2, 9-27

“And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, (See? He goes back there, as he is talking about the Bride, so it is one of the angels which would no doubt be the last angel that comes to him here.) and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” He goes back to the beginning of the Millennium. “And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.” See? This is talking about the Bride and the Bridegroom, God’s Son here. “Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.” It is the light, the eternal light, which will be upon the Bride of Jesus Christ. She will not need the sun or the moon, and it goes on down here to tell you that. “And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.” The gates, each one, has a name of one of the Israeli seed. It is the name of each patriarch, which would be Judah, Joseph, all of them. These would be the names of the twelve gates, which is a replica of what you see in the 48th chapter of Ezekiel, only that is the natural, this is a spiritual. It has twelve gates because this is a big city. But it is not a physical city, it is the Bride of Jesus Christ. But it is all represented by Israel because that is where the light came from, from Israel. Jesus was born of the Jewish nation, of the tribe of Judah.

Somebody said to me one time, Jesus really did not have anything to do with anybody, any nationality, or anything like that. But it did say, Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews. He was born into the tribe of Judah. That is His representation here on earth. “On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.” This shows how it is entered into. You have gates for entrance, so it all comes through the Jewish nation, through Abraham. That is how it all came, through Abraham’s seed, into the revelation of what we now have.

Which the apostle Paul is responsible for bringing in much of the gospel to the Gentile people. The Bride is mostly made up of Gentile people. It said, He had taken out a people for His name’s sake, of the Gentile people. We know in the beginning the Bride was made up of Jews like Paul, Peter, and those Jews. But then the seven church ages did not start until Ephesus, which came along later in Paul’s ministry. This is really the beginning because that is when he said I turn to the Gentiles. From that time on the Jews gave him trouble in every city he went into. God did not deal with the Jews as a nation at the same time as He dealt with the Gentiles, except in the beginning. Because we are built upon the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. We look at the prophets, they foretell what is to come. Of course, we find that Paul and Peter bring their message out from where the prophets had spoken and prophesied would come. So, our salvation came through the Jewish nation. That is why Jesus was born of the Jews. He was not born of the Gentiles. Paul expressed it this way, talking of the Gentiles and Jews: he said that He was of twain, one new man of two nations, one new man, talking about Jesus himself. “And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, (which is the apostles) and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.” These are the names of the apostles that were with Jesus in His ministry. Even when they chose Mattathias, (it says that he was one that continued with them from the time of John). We find that on these apostles are laid the foundation of our belief. Because we know that in the beginning of the gospel, whenever God dealt the apostles there on the day of Pentecost, then we find our belief comes out of that. Our belief comes from what Peter preached. The other apostles stood with him. What Peter preached was repent, every one of you, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. He was speaking to the crowd, a majority of which were Jews, but there were some proselytes among them. From places such as Tarsus, where Paul was born. He was born in a place, where he learned what the Gentile nations were made of. Therefore, he had authority to be able to speak what he did concerning the Gentile people, because he had grown up in his young days among the Gentiles. See how God used that? God uses your past to bring forth your future, like He did with the apostle Paul. But Paul was not a part of the twelve, because Paul is the apostle to the Gentiles as he said he was. But these twelve foundational apostles here are mainly to the Jews, where they had their ministries. The first few chapters of the book of Acts are dealing with Jews, up until you get to the 12th and 13th chapters. Then we find Paul and Barnabas coming on the scene. By the 15th chapter, we find they are going mostly to the Gentiles, because the Jews have turned it away.

By the time 70 A.D. has come, the Jewish nation is dispersed. A lot of those Jews in Jerusalem were killed in 70 A.D. (As Jesus had said, they would be hemmed in). But there were still Jews that were spread out in all these different nations. We find many of the Jews that left Jerusalem caused trouble for Paul in his ministry. Not the apostles, but others who were fringes of the Jews that wanted to put the Law in with Grace, which Paul would not stand for. So that is why he departed from the Jews and said, I go to the Gentiles. Therefore, the last part of his life was in the Gentiles hands, especially the last six years which he spent in Rome. Before that he was in Caesarea for some time. Back to verse 14, “And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.” This city, the Bride of Jesus Christ, is built on the twelve apostles. “…twelve apostles of the Lamb”, which identifies who they were. They were brought up under the Lamb, that is Jesus Christ’s ministry. “And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.” He had a measuring stick, a reed is something like six feet or so. When he measures it, it tells the breadth, length, everything. It is very big, because it has to cover the earth. It tells the length, the breadth, and so on, but when you level it out, it covers the whole earth. You can look at it in that way when you level it out, to the twelve different layers. He that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. He is measuring it all because there is a reason for it. “And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.” So, according to the measure, we have a very large city. Some have counted it up if you stretch it out it would be fifteen hundred miles. But when you layer it out, it is going to cover the earth. Because the Bride of Jesus Christ will cover the earth. There has to be rulership. Jesus himself will be the head. It talks about the new Jerusalem, which He will be the head of, but He has the body. The body of Jesus Christ, which is the Bride, will cover the whole earth. It has to be in order to bring discipline to the earth because that is what they are going to be doing. During the Millennium time, they are going to force (in a spiritual way) the nations to abide by the rule that Jesus Christ sets out.

“And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.” We see here that the city is foursquare, which is a cube, which is the Bride of Jesus Christ. He is the head. Gold, as we look at it, is not pure glass. But the gold we are looking at here is as pure glass because it is purity. The purity of the Bride of Jesus Christ is like unto pure glass. You can see through it. But it is mentioned as being gold, we know that you cannot see through gold, but this is likened to what it will be to the Bride of Jesus Christ. She is going to be perfect. She is going to be pure. When that time comes, then all the impurities that this flesh has been in, has lived in, are gone. The flesh is not perfected, but the spirit is perfected. Whenever the body either raises from the dead, or is caught away, then that body is changed. You will look the same (the scripture says: then we will know as we are known). If the body was altogether different, then we would not know each other. Whenever Jesus raised from the dead, they knew Him. They saw the scars in His hands. The scars in His hands were for a purpose but they will not be needed in the Eternal Age. Because all the curses will be gone. The Bible says there will be no more curse. Everything that is cursed will be moved out of the way. The curse we received from Adam will no longer dwell within us because when we were born in this world, we were born in sin, shaped in iniquity. But whenever this time comes, it is going to be different. Because we are that city we see here, the Bride of Jesus Christ. She has her walls. But the foundation of the walls is the twelve apostles. Of course, there are the gates, but they will never be shut, (this is a representation). The gates will never be shut because there must be an entrance into the city from every land. Therefore north, south, east, and west, there will be no restrictions. The gates are never shut, they remain open. During the Old Testament time, they came in one gate to do their sacrifice and went out another gate. If they came in the east, they went out the west. If they came in the north, they went out the south. It is that way because they are going to leave their sacrifice and they are going to depart out another direction. That is just like our life. Whenever we receive Jesus Christ, we are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, then we leave the old man and put on the new man, which is Christ in us, the hope of glory.

I am glad that they will never be shut. So, we have this large city which is spread out all over the earth. It is showing the beauty of the Bride leadership, the purity of the leadership of the Bride of Jesus Christ. That is what he is talking about. It is going to be a leadership where there will be no mistakes in judgment. Whenever they judge (which it says there will be judges) they are going to have righteous judgment. Everybody that dies during the Millennium is going to be judged righteously. These people are given a hundred years to change their life because even from an infant something is wrong. If they do not change, then God will take care of them through the judgement of the Bride. You have heard the saying, ‘that man is meaner than the devil.’ The devil is not going to be there to tempt, but they still have that fallen nature in them. These are the ones that are born unto that sheep people. The sheep people will live on through the Millennium into the Eternal Age, but then there are those that are born unto them that will be judged.

Bro. Jackson said there would be children born during the Millennium. There was a certain man, by the name of Green, who criticized Bro. Jackson, because he did not see how there could be children born during the Millennium. Well, why would one man take on seven wives? I will not go into that this morning, but I just made that statement because it is in the fourth chapter of Isaiah. It is because there are not enough men to have mates for all the women. This will all be regulated by the Bride of Jesus Christ. They will regulate the earth; everything will be done according to God’s law of grace.

“And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall (which is the twelve Jewish apostles) of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper…” Some of these words are hard to pronounce, so I will not go into that. But it tells you that these are all jewels. All the twelve apostles are represented by different jewels because of their different ministries. They were not cut from cookie cutters. All of them went to various places with their ministry. Thomas died in India. Peter was crucified upside down. “And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: (That is a big difference from what the twelve patriarchs were. But here in this city, the gates are pure, they are pearls, costly arrayed. Because God has had something to do with it, just like He has something to do with our lives. The twelve gates were twelve pearls…) every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.” It is the same as the city: purity. The street of it, we are not talking about a highway. We are talking about something that is traveled on by the Bride of Jesus Christ. “And I saw no temple therein: (That is not taking away from the temple in Jerusalem. The temple in Jerusalem is a shadow of what was to come. Because it was all done in the blood of bulls, goats, and heifers. Paul said in the 9th and 10th chapter of Hebrews, that the blood of bulls, goats, and heifers cannot take away sin. But this was the substitute to take place until the perfect should come. There were certain criteria that Jesus had to go through to enter into that gate. It tells you that in the 12th chapter (Bro. Allen clarifies it is the fifth chapter in the evening service) of Hebrews, what He had to suffer in order to be what He is to the Bride of Jesus Christ. It said that He suffered with tears. I saw no temple therein…) for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, (There are even animals that see in the dark. But daylight and dark will not make any difference with the Bride of Jesus Christ. It will all be the same. Where are you going to sleep? You will not need to sleep. These are temporal things that we are going through now. The Bride of Jesus Christ will be alert. Bro. Jackson said they will not have to eat, but they can eat. Jesus only ate to make the disciples see that He was real. When He did eat, what He ate turned into him. When He left the room, you did not see the broiled fish and honeycomb, it went with Him, but it was changed too. Whenever the Bride of Jesus Christ is manifested, she is going to be like Him. The two men of Emmaus recognized him when He broke bread, because no doubt they saw the scars in His hands. Whenever He shows himself to Israel, they are going to wonder, where did you get those nail prints in your hands. What is he going to say? In the 13th chapter of Zechariah it says: in the house of my friends. He is not going to curse them out. He is not going to call them names. It will be as Joseph was, when Joseph came to meet with his brothers, he said, this was done that it might preserve life. He was not mad at his brothers. He did put them through a few things. I do not blame him. He did put their money back in their bags, especially to the youngest brother, Benjamin. He put the money back in the bag because he was going to make sure they come back again. Then when they did, then he showed himself unto them that he was their brother. They could not believe it. He did not look like their brother. He looked like an Egyptian. He told them, I am Joseph, your brother. Jesus will do the same thing to the Jewish nation when those two prophets come on the scene. He will say, this happened in the house of my friends. He did not hold grudges; we cannot hold grudges. I could look at 2008 and hold grudges, I do not hold grudges about those people, they did what they had to do. They did what they were supposed to do. I did what I had to do. Other people did what they had to do. God will take care of it all. He does, He takes care of it all. He proves himself. We do not have to prove ourselves; God does that. If we are living for Him, He will prove himself in our lives.

Let us go on here, and the city had no need of the sun, the Bride is the city. Do not lose sight of the Bride being the city. The city had no need of the sun…) neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.” The revelation of the Lamb will be the light thereof. Pure light, dedicated light, pure as gold that is transparent, like unto glass. Jesus is coming back for a pure Bride. That is why the body must be changed. The spirit is a part of Him. The spirit life that is in us is a part of His life, because He gave himself that we might become Him. God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself. And Christ is in us, reconciling us unto God. God is our Father; Jesus is our Saviour. God could not die. There are some preachers that preach that God came down and died. God did not die. You cannot find that in the scripture. Jesus, the pure Son of God, died. It took a pure sacrifice and Jesus Christ was that pure sacrifice. Because He was born of a virgin. This never happened anywhere else at any time. The first man was of the earth, earthy. The second man was the Lord from heaven. He was from heaven in that His life came down from heaven, placed into a virgin womb. Man had nothing to do with the plan of God. They are doing that today, they think they are, they are trying to make other religions the same. As I mentioned earlier about that congressman who was talking for the Black Lives Matter and so on. One of the commentators was talking about it and said, how come they are so against the Jews? He asked, they are burning Bibles, why are they burning Bibles? Well, he just brushed it off, they should not be burning Bibles, they should not be burning the Koran. They put the Koran equal to the Bible, and many times even above. Because they cannot stand the Bible. If they read it, it will tell them where they are going. It tells us all where we will be going.

“And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: (God and Christ are the light of it) and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.” That is at the end of the Millennium, it will not be at the beginning. Because some people are going to have to learn their lesson. It said, if Egypt does not come to Jerusalem once a year, then they are not going to have any rain. That is a lesson well learned very quickly. Every nation will have to go to Jerusalem once a year. “And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.” What about night? There is no night there. It is all going to be day. I am talking about to the Bride of Jesus Christ. There will be night and day for the natural people, but not to the Bride of Christ. We are passed from darkness to light. “And they shall bring the glory

and honour of the nations into it.” That is talking about as you go into that rulership of the Bride, which has caused the nations to take heed to what they are doing. “And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: (Now listen to what this says, let me read that again. There shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie…) but they (THEY) which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” The Bride of Jesus, written in the Lamb’s book of life. You have other, such as foolish virgins, and Jews. But they will not be equal to the Bride of Christ. The Bride of Christ is the Lamb’s wife. We are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Prayer

Christ’s Suffering

I was in Revelation 21 this morning; I want to go to Chapter 22, but first: I quoted a scripture I thought was in Hebrews 12, but it is really in Hebrews 5. I am going to read that at this time before I go any further. It shows the humanity of Christ. As we look into the word, we know that Jesus was the divine Son of God, but He was also human. When He went to the garden, and the things He suffered there, also during His life, His ministry, the criticism He got, we see all that. Verse 5, “So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.” Showing the begotten Lord. “As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.” We remember Abraham meeting Melchizedek, who had no beginning of days nor ending of life. We read that in Paul’s writing, on up into the book here as he talks about it. “Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared.” This is what our Lord went through, especially in the garden, as He cried out to God, it said with strong tears. He was not boohooing; He was just asking for this thing to pass if it were possible. Anybody would have done that. We would have done more than that. “Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.” This is a very strong statement, as Paul is talking about Him here. “And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchizedek.” I wanted to straighten that out before I went any further

Revelation 22

Now I want to go back into the book of Revelation tonight, chapter 22. We covered chapter 21. I know there was a lot more that could be said about it, but I want to move on to the 22nd chapter. This book is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. I know it says in the heading before Chapter 1, “The Revelation of Saint John the divine”, the writer. Saint John was not the divine. John was a man, but he had a great mission. But we know the revelation was of Jesus Christ. It was not a revelation of John, it was given to John, but he was not the revelator. I know there have been songs sung about John the revelator, but this book is really the record of Jesus Christ, as God appointed Him to be heir of all things unto the saints. Wherever you see that, that is what it is talking about, the heir of all things to the saints. It says in the first verse of Chapter 1 that this is “The Revelation of Jesus Christ”, then you see what comes out of it because it is Bride material. The book of Revelation is Bride material, all the way into the 6th chapter, the first few verses of the 6th chapter, is talking of the Bride of Jesus Christ. Then you go into the ministry of the two prophets, starting at the 7th chapter. Next you see the ministry, which is called, an 144,000, we will get into that a little bit more later. Then the 8th and the 10th chapters are also concerning the Bride. But then the Bride is raptured, until you get to the beginning of the Millennium, which we will be back here then. Because at the end of the tribulation period, you have the Bride returning with Christ. Then you have the Bride rulership in the Millennium.

Millennium

Reading in the 22nd chapter, “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.” I want to take you from that, back to Ezekiel, if I have time, and see, as I said this morning, this is a replica of what the temple will be in the time of the Millennium. Because there will be a temple and there will be animal sacrifice. Animal sacrifice is not necessary for redemption at that time, but it is to show the life, and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Because all that has been done in the Old Testament, as far as redemption is concerned, it is over with. But the Jews, in many places here in Revelation, you will find that they are still clinging unto that, until the time of the Millennium. Then when the Millennium goes on, then this is a reminder to every generation, because there will be generations of people born in the Millennium. It will be a reminder to every generation as they come along, of what Christ did for them. So, it takes the Old Testament Law to show them that, not for their salvation, but to show them what it took for their salvation, which is Jesus Christ. “In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, (he says, in the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, this is all in the midst of the river. We know as we look at this,) was there the tree of life, (There are not two trees, there are not a lot of trees like there will be there in the Millennium for the Jews to enjoy in Israel, but as I said, it is a replica of what is to come. “… was there the tree of life,” which is the Holy Ghost, which is feeding through the Bride of Jesus Christ. First, through the Lamb, then through the Bride, it is the same spirit. The spirit of God is the same spirit in Jesus Christ, as it is in the Bride, during the Millennium. Here we receive the Holy Ghost, which is our down payment. Scripture says ‘the earnest of our inheritance’. The down payment has already been made, but our bodies have not been changed. The bodies have to be changed in order to meet the criteria of who will rule and reign in that Millennium time. There was the tree of life…) which bare twelve manner of fruits, (When Bro. Jackson went over that, he said there are the nine fruits of the spirit, and there will be three more, but we do not know what they are yet. It will take the Millennium to show what these other three fruits of the spirit are.) and yielded her fruit every month: (So there is not a delay. This is off one tree, that yielded its fruit every month, which will be the twelve fruits of the spirit, at that time. It is yielding its fruit every month, so there will not be any slack. As I said earlier, this is a replica of Ezekiel Chapter 47.) and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” The nations will be healed by the Bride of Jesus Christ, by the law that comes forth from that Bride group of people that are in charge during the Millennium. “And there shall be no more curse: (Not in the city (in the Bride), because the curse is all gone. Even when she is raptured from here, all the curse that has pertained unto her body, will be removed and there will be no more sickness nor pain, nor sorrow, nor suffering. No more sin, no more evil, nothing of that nature. She will be free from all of that. There shall be no more curse…) but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him.” This has to be talking about the Bride of Christ, because there will be curse during the Millennium. Not in the Bride, but in the people that are born then. Because they still have that fallen nature which came from Adam. Our sin came from Adam, because of his disobedience, because he listened to his wife and partook of that act. He knew better. It said Adam was not in the transgression, he was not in the sin part that Eve was in. Because the relationship with Eve was still a pure relationship, as far as sons of God were concerned, up until a certain period of time. But that fallen nature had already come about. In Adam all die, but in Christ we are made alive. We see that as we look through the scriptures. “And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him.” This is a lower group of people than the Bride. As it says here, “his servants”, they will be a lower group of people, which will no doubt be foolish virgins and the Jewish remnant that is saved. Because you see the fallen nature of them, as they did not listen to the word, yet they are servants, servants of God. But it has said that we will be kings and priests, along with Jesus Christ. We will have authority over some part of the world. “And they shall see his face; (We will see Christ’s face; God is still a spirit. We will see what God is. It talks about it in chapter 21, that He will be the light, that God and Christ will be the light of that city. Because God is always, as Bro. Jackson said, represented by light. Jesus is a part of that light that brought light to the Gentile people and to that remnant of Jews that were in the early church. After that, we find the Bride of Jesus Christ was mainly made up of Gentile people. Because

He chose out of the Gentile people, a people for His name’s sake. That is when we take on the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of our sins, in baptism. The blood of Jesus Christ takes care of our sin, our original sin. But baptism takes care of our sins, what we have done in the flesh. We are buried with Him in baptism. I hope I am making sense out of what I am saying. They shall see his face…) and his name shall be in their foreheads.” In other words, His name, His revelation, will be in the foreheads of the Bride of Christ during that time. It said the knowledge of the Lord will fill the earth as the waters that cover the sea, as the waters that cover the oceans. We see there is not going to be any slack in what this tree of life bears. “And there shall be no night there; (We have already seen that in Chapter 21. We go back to verse 23 in the 21st chapter where it says, and the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. We see that He is the light thereof. Whenever it talks about seeing His face, we will see Christ’s face. Because the Bible says that we shall see Him as He is. As He is now, sitting upon the right hand of power, or the right hand of God, which is God’s explanation of what position that Jesus Christ now has. And there shall be no night there…) and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.” For ever and ever is a period of time, which is the Millennium. It says that we are going to reign for ever and ever, which is a period of time. When you come to the Eternal Age, then it is different. I am glad Bro. Jackson went over that. Jesus Christ being our elder brother. I would not have known where to place it. As it says in the 2nd chapter of Hebrews, that He is not ashamed to call them brethren. So that is great. “And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.” Sent His angel, God sent His angel to do this. Verse 7, “Behold, I come quickly: (The angel would have to be the same angel that began in Revelation 1, which would be Jesus Christ.) blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.” The whole book is a prophecy. Blessed is he that keepeth the prophecy of this whole book, the book of Revelation. Because it goes ahead to say in the last part of the 22nd chapter, that those that do not, there is a curse put upon them. Bro. Jackson likened it unto something that would never be forgiven them, that they were no longer a part of the body of Christ. In the 18th verse, “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, (See? He is speaking to people that heard the prophecy of this book. It had to be somebody that was acquainted. It could not be the foolish virgins because they were not a part of it, never were a part of it. I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things…) God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, (That is a very strong statement there.) and out of the holy city, (They had their opportunity. If any man takes away from this, then his part will be taken out of the holy city…) and from the things which are written in this book.” There is a very great price to pay if the keeping of this book is not reverenced.

144,000

I will go back to the 7th chapter now. Verse 1, ”And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.” This is during the two prophets’ message. Because this is something that happens that I have gone through before, in the 14th chapter. “And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice (a loud voice) to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” As Bro. Jackson went over that, he said they would be standing at the Euphrates. Because the Euphrates is where this all takes place, the water of the Euphrates is dried up for the kings of the east to come across. There is a way made for them to cross. There has to be a drought during that time of the beginning of the tribulation period, that last three and a half years of the 70th week of Daniel. The tribulation period starts in Jerusalem. They, the angels, were told, hurt not the earth. Now these two

prophets will cause hurt in Israel, not the whole earth. There is a difference. Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor any tree until the servants of our God is sealed in their foreheads. What does that mean? That means they have a revelation; they have the Holy Ghost. “And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.” There will be twelve thousand of each tribe, this would take you back into the Ezekiel prophecy Chapters 47 and 48. This is talking of the twelve tribes that will be represented there. “Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.” These make up the gates. The 144,000 does not make up the gates. No, it is the twelve patriarchs, but these are representative of the twelve patriarchs, except for Dan. All of them are there except for Dan. I remember Bro. Branham going over that. He said, Dan, because of her transgression, was the one that went astray first. So, God did not use Dan. He does not use Dan in this ministry, but he uses the rest of them. Bro. Branham also brought in something about the tribe of Ephraim. He did not realize at that time that in some places Ephraim represents Joseph and in other places Joseph represents Ephraim. “Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph (See? As I mentioned a while ago, sometimes Ephraim represents Joseph, and Joseph represents Ephraim. Even as you go back into the Old Testament many times as you look at it, even in 10th chapter of Zechariah, it does not mention Joseph, but it mentions Ephraim. That is the way it is. Of the tribe of Joseph…) were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.” So, you have 144,000 there sealed.

Now we go to the 14th chapter, we see this, I have gone into most of it before, trying to prove what their position is in relation to the Bride of Jesus Christ. Because they do have the Holy Ghost. They are not a part of the Bride, but they are a part of the measuring of the wall, of the 144 cubits. Verse 1, “And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with him an hundred and forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written (or sealed) in their foreheads.” Who came in the Father’s name? Jesus. Jesus came in His Father’s name. They have recognized from these two prophets that Jesus Christ was the Messiah. That is the two prophets’ message, that Jesus was the Messiah. They are given that revelation. They will have the message straight.

I do not mean to make this Bro. Jackson’s message, but I am just quoting some things that he said, because I stand for what I say myself, and I do not want to be different. I am not trying to be different, but if there is something that you see there that is not what Bro. Jackson said, then just blame me, that is all right. I am not trying to connect all of this with what Bro. Jackson said, because there are some things in here that he did not teach from this 14th chapter. There are things in the 21st chapter that he did not teach. But he did teach that the city in Chapter 21 is the Bride of Christ.

From here it goes on to something else. (…having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.) “And I heard a voice from heaven as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:” There is a jubilee in heaven. That is where the 144,000 are at this time, as far as their names, they are still on earth, but their vision is a heavenly vision because that is where they go. Because when you get to verse 16, there is a rapture of the 144,000. Verse 3, “And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, (See where they are singing? Before the throne, the four beasts, and the elders. Singing as it were a new song. It is a song of redemption for them. This is something new. This is something that has happened to them. This is the message that is given to them. They have understood through those two prophets, during the three and one-half years that they have been around them. …before the four beasts, in other words, before the Bride.) and the elders: (it does not mention that there are twenty four, but it does mention the four beasts, which is the Bride represented in Christ.) and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, (because it is given to them, it is a song of redemption given to them alone. All the rest of everything is now redeemed, and they are placed here in order to preach a message. The first sixteen verses of Chapter 14 is their message. It goes from angel to angel, but no angel is preaching. We have angelic beings in our ministry, we do not see them, but they are an inspiration. They inspire a ministry to preach the things of the word of God. It cannot be just falling off a log and picking up something, it must be truth. The Bible says, for the rest to judge. If you want to judge what I have to say, do that, as well as the others that preach. Look at The Bible to see if they are preaching the Word. I am not saying judge the ministry, but judge the words that they are preaching, or that I am preaching. I place myself in the same category of that.) …no man could learn the song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.” They were redeemed from the earth. They had redemption, they were saved. They had been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. That is the reason they had the name written across their foreheads. They had accepted the message of those two prophets, because the two prophets receive the message when they see Jesus. They ask, “Where did you get those scars in your hands?” If Jonathan Cahn and Yehuda Glick be those two prophets, they will see more than what they are seeing now. Once when we were in New Jersey, I talked to Brother Jonathan Cahn and told him, I believe that you will fulfill the last verse of Revelation 10. Of course, he did not understand it, I did not go further into it, because I did not want to do that. Near the beginning of Chapter 11, you have the two prophets’ message, and that is it, because the book was never closed. When the cry was made, Behold, the Bridegroom cometh, the book was never closed until the redemption of the Jews (that 144,000 and those two prophets). We find out what their message was. Chapter 14, Verse 4, “These are they which were not defiled with women: (Denominations. Whatever is going on in the middle east now, will never get to them, because they have a mission to do that the denominational world can never affect them.) for they are virgins. (They have virgin minds when the message comes to them. Which has not been defiled by women, it does not mean that they have not recognized some woman, but I do not believe that the 144,000 will ever marry. Because they have another mission there in that last three- and one-half years. It is going to take them around this world. That is my thought on it. These are they which were not defiled with women, with denominations, or the Catholic church. As the denominational world ends up, the Methodists, the Baptists, all these denominations are going to wind up with Rome, with the woman in Revelation 17. This is where they are at, the harlots and abominations of the earth. The ones that do not claim to be denominations are going to be the abominations.) “These are they which follow (Who do they follow? They follow the Lamb. They have the Lamb message. These are they which follow…) the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits (which, to me, represents that they will be raptured,) unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.” No fault there, they have purity in their minds and hearts. “And I saw another angel (Where did he see the first angel? I saw another angel…) fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.” This is their ministry around this earth. There are Jewish people in Russia, there are Jewish people in China, there are Jewish people in Iran, in Pakistan and India, the United States, across Europe. There are Jewish people around this world tonight. I heard in the news recently, there are more Jews in Israel now than there are the rest of the world, which is about eight million. Many Jews are fleeing America now, to go to Israel. Many are going there because they feel they are in trouble here. Some Jewish people have blended in with the Gentiles and will never leave. But then you have that other Jewish element that do not feel comfortable now. God is putting in their hearts not to feel comfortable in the nations where they are at, even in the United States. Because they are beginning to see things, the entire world is against the Jewish nation. Jews here in America, a lot of them are against the Jews in Israel. They do not like them, they do not like what they are doing. They think there is too much Zionism there. They do not like any of that. …Having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, to every nation, kindred, tongue, and people. “Saying with a loud voice, (They are excited.) Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of water.” This is an angel message, but it is presented by the 144,000. As I said before, angels do not preach, but they are inspiration. When Bro. Branham prayed for people, whenever he had a line of people to pray for, he would say, “I will wait until he comes”, meaning the angel that inspired him. Sometimes it would be a few minutes before he would pray for them. Then he would say, “do you believe me to be the prophet of God?” Then maybe he would tell them what was wrong with them, or what street they lived on, or what city they were from, and so on. As soon as he was finished praying, that inspiration would leave him, and then he might say, “or a preacher, a preacher is a prophet.” Because that angel had left him until the time he would return for another person. He waited on that angel for each person. So, it was not the angel that was speaking, it was William Branham speaking the inspired words of the angel. Verse 8, “And there followed another angel, (Now we are getting close to the end of the tribulation here. That is the reason he puts it this way, because from here on, he is beginning his message here in the other verses above this, he is beginning his message in a way that tells what the beginning ministry of the 144,000 is. He goes through it all the way down through angels, until it gets to verse 16. There followed another angel…) saying, Babylon is fallen, (That is right at the end before the war between the east and the west. That is why I say, he is following along with each angel to show what is going on. Babylon is fallen…) is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.” It goes with chapter 17. Then you have the third angel. As I said a while ago, you are getting closer to the end of the tribulation. “And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture (which goes on down into the 19th and 20th verses) into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:” That goes into the Eternal Age, when you see that. “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” This goes into the lake of fire. “Here is the patience of the saints: (Listen to what it says here, here is the patience of the saints, which are the foolish virgins and the Jewish remnant. Here is the patience of the saints…) here are they that keep the commandments of God, (which are Jews) and the faith of Jesus.” Which is Gentile foolish virgins. Now the next verse is a strange verse, but it is an escape. Sometimes it is better to escape in death than it is to live in a hell, as those that are going to have to live in during that last part of that week. “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, (He wants him to write it down.) Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: (Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from here after. Why?) Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest (their rest is death, this is why they are in this state of being during that time, but this is their rest, they finally reach their rest. That they may rest…) from their labours; and their works do follow them.” We find here that their works, what they did, how they gave their lives and how they died, because he said, blessed are they that die from henceforth, from here after, in the Lord. Going on to verse 14, “And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man (Back in my early days in this Truth, I saw this in a dream. I did not know that was what it was when I saw it. But I saw a white cloud and Him that sat upon the cloud, and He looked more like a Jewish rabbi, more like Jonathan Cahn looks now. He did not have long hair, he had a beard, (because he is a rabbi) but he did not have long hair. Because He is our sacrifice. It talks about Jesus coming from the tribe of Judah part of Israel, which Paul talks about, there is no mention of the priesthood in Judah. But Jesus became the priest of all, whenever He takes that upon himself. That is what I saw. Others may have seen something else during times past, even as Bro. Branham saw Him, He looked like the Hoffman head of Christ. But this would be to the Gentile people. But to the Jewish people, it is going to be different. Because He was a rabbi. I looked and behold a white cloud…) and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, (Which meant the crown of glory that He will have, a halo. Because it is all over. He will shine as the brightness of the sun.) and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, (This is a different sickle than the next one. Thrust in thy sickle…) and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” That is when the 144,000 are taken. “And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.” The Earth was reaped of those 144,000.

Now you have another angel, which is the angel of death. “And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.” This sharp sickle is for something else. “And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.” This is Armageddon. God is using different angels for different methods. These two last angels it talks about, that are reaping, one of them has the sickle and the other says to thrust in the sickle. It says here he had the power over fire and cried with a loud cry to the other angel. Fire will be what will burn the earth and heaven, which is the atmosphere, not the heavens. The atmospheric heaven will be burned. Because the spirits that are now in the earth will have to be burned, for the Bride of Jesus Christ to come back, there has to be a burning. The earth was once frozen, just like we were in sin. We were in that cold condition. Then came along the water, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Then the fire, which is last, which is the Holy Ghost. Water baptism and the Holy Ghost, which we receive. “And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.” Armageddon. We will see that as we look at this here. “And the winepress was trodden without the city, (without the city of Jerusalem, because it is in Megiddo. If I had a map, I could show you where Armageddon is. It is above Jerusalem. There is about one hundred fifteen or sixteen miles until it runs down close to the Dead Sea, and it will run right down the coast, the blood will, right on the coast between the Mediterranean and Jerusalem. It will be like a river. In every place will not be up to the horse bridles, but there will be places where it will be in ponds like that. The angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city…) and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.” That is from a hundred and sixty to a hundred and eighty miles. That will go from Armageddon, or Megiddo, all the way to the Mediterranean. That is the length it will be, because that is where the battle takes place. You do not have that battle in Jerusalem because the Temple will already be built by then. If the battle was there, it would destroy it. But it will be beyond Jerusalem where it is taking place. Then God will bury the whole thing.

Daniel 12

The Jewish nation will be gathering in again, from that wilderness place where she had found shelter. It will not be suddenly; it is going to take time. That is the reason why we have the 12th chapter of the book of Daniel. I have looked at that before. Let us look at it again right now. 4th verse, “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, (See? Seal the book, the same thing that was said in the seven seals, seal the book.) even to the time of the end: (it does not mean it will be at the end, but at the time of the end, which will be the last part of what is going to happen.) many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” What went on in the Senate and Congress this week, everything was against Trump and against the people of God. We are hated. The children of God are hated tonight. As I said this morning, in Portland, Oregon they are burning Bibles. Fifty or sixty years ago if they had done something like that, there would be a lot of people dead today. But the nation has gotten so weak, and the churches have gotten so weak. Trump even told a thousand preachers when he became president, you all are just too weak anymore. That is the truth. Shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. “Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. And one said to the man clothed in linen, (that would be white linen) which was upon the waters of the river, (which would be the Jordan River,) How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, (See? You have gone beyond the one hand that you have in Revelation 10, you have gone beyond that, now you are looking at the end of the age itself.) and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, (which is a year) times, (two years) and an half; (which is six months) and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.” That is talking of the Jews. “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up (or shut up) and sealed till the time of the end.” There had to be a revelation in the end time of the scriptures that we are looking at. Because they were sealed up until the time of the end. We are in that time of the end as Luke 17 says. …sealed till the time of the end. “Many shall be purified, and made white, (That is talking about that last three- and one-half years.) and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” In other words, he is speaking of the wise, not only of the Bride of Jesus Christ, but of the wise people that have gained wisdom during that time of the tribulation. Because they give their life for what is right. “And from that time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, (from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, which will be in the middle of the week, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up…) there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” Which is that added thirty-day period of time, which I have explained before, as being the time for the earth to settle after the judgment of God. Because the earth is going to reel to and fro, as a drunkard. God is shaking it up, getting it ready for righteous man to live on. Then it takes another forty-five days. Then all the people that go into the Millennium, which are the natural people, it will take that for things to be settled for them. During the thirty-day period, and the forty-five-day period, then you have the goat people that are judged, and are dead. “Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.” Which makes up an extra seventy-five days all together, for the many people that have been scattered to come together again. It says blessed are those that waiteth, we might say blessed are those sheep people. Blessed is he that waiteth and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. “But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.” I will stop there and try to get into Ezekiel the next time.
