WE ENDED OUR JANUARY ISSUE DEALING WITH THE UNDERLYING FORCES THAT ARE PLANNING A TIME, A PLACE AND A METHOD THAT THEY CAN STRIKE OUR NATION AND BRING IT DOWN FROM BEING A WORLD POWER WITH A VOICE OF AUTHORITY, SO WE WILL JUST PICK UP THERE AND CONTINUE ON.
There is something going on in the world today, that is going to drastically change our way of looking at things. Therefore I say to everyone of you who hear or read my words, Let us not just sit back taking things for granted, like, Well this is just another day like all the others. No. That is not true: Gentiles are standing at the end of the time God has allotted to them. Very soon Jesus will step forth from the mercy seat and there will be no more intercession for anyone: If you have failed to take a stand for God in the time He has allotted, you have a very grim future ahead of you. The denominational church world that is all around us today, has gone sound to sleep. They have a lot of ideas, what they plan on doing for God, how they plan to win the world for Christ, but they are totally out of touch with reality: They do not know where we are in time: They are definitely not going to win the world for Christ. In fact, I do not hesitate to say, The day is just about here, that His knocking on hearts doors will be no more. Whether we are ready or not, it is just about over. I do not mean to say that God does not have a plan for mortal human beings after that, but that is not where our hope should rest: We still have the greatest opportunity that has ever been offered to mankind: the opportunity to reign with Christ for one thousand years in a state of eternal life. I seriously doubt that you do, but if you are allowed to live another five years in this present life, you are going to see something take place among the human race in this world that is going to startle an awful lot of people, because the world, politically, will have come to an hour like it has never seen before. Even as I speak, we are standing at the threshold of a very drastic change in the way mortals will live from here on to the end. This world has never been at such a strategic point in time, as it is right now. That is why I am going to ask you to turn with me to Zechariah 12. You may ask, Why do you choose that particular scripture at this time? Because there are three scriptures in the Bible that are all pointing to one and the self same time frame and we need to understand what God has made available to us, lest we grope at the word of God in ignorance.
KNOWING WHERE WE ARE IN TIME
On the wall behind me is a chart of time. Starting with this line right here, is an illustration of time from there on to the end. When you come to this point on this dotted line, this is the first half of the seven year period called “The Seventieth Week of Daniel,” so this represents the first three and one half years. From this dotted line, to this line over here, represents the last half of the seventieth week. Then right here, at the end of the seventieth week, is the coming of Christ, fulfilling what you see described in the sixth seal, the seventh trumpet, and the seventh vial. This is not three separate comings, but when He comes to earth to pour out God’s wrath upon ungodly mankind, it fulfills all of what you see written in the sixth seal, the seventh trumpet and the seventh vial. Back in 1963, we had a prophet ministering to us: He brought us the revelation of six of the seals. There are a lot listening on the Internet that may not agree with what I have just stated. If that is so, and you feel like you want to argue with me about it, let me just remind you that I sat right there and heard everything Brother Branham spoke concerning these seals. You may be confused about it, but I assure you, I am not: I heard everything he taught in those meetings; and I have never tried to make him say more than what he said, like some of you have. I have studied all that he taught and allowed the Spirit of God to give me understanding of those things many of you argue about so much of the time. Therefore I will have to say, We are getting very close to the ending of Gentile time. If you cannot see that, there is something wrong with your understanding of the things God’s word reveals to us. The reason I have asked you to turn to the 12th chapter of Zechariah, is because all back through the number of years men have been discussing these things, especially going back to 1963, I have heard all these preachers talking about the coming of the Lord and how the antichrist will make a covenant with Israel for the building of the temple, this and that. I want to say to every one that will ever think upon these things, The antichrist does not have anything to do with Israel building the temple. If you will just open your eyes to what the Bible says, and that is what you are going to have to do, because there are a lot of church going people today, that are blind to what the Bible really states in very plain and easy to understand words. They have a few pet scriptures they go by; and all the rest, they treat as though God was just using up space to make the Bible a certain size. Every little scripture that is written, whether you esteem it to be minor or major, is important to make the whole picture understandable. That prepares the setting for the second coming of Christ. I am going to take you back to the early 1950’s. WW2 was over. Preachers began to preach the second coming of Christ. Little isolated groups began to speculate this and that, without any scriptural foundation. Throughout the 1950’s and on into the 1960’s, and yes, on into the 1970’s, we were under a constant threat that America could be attacked by the Russians with the atomic bomb. The reason I am bringing these things into the message, is because there are a lot listening on the Internet this morning, that may not have been exposed to a lot of this. There was a certain element that began to propagate the idea that the coming of the Lord is nigh and God’s wrath is ready to strike. Those groups began to build concrete bunkers underground and fill them with necessary supplies. They had enough food stored, that they felt like they were safe from whatever came upon them. Every News Journalist grabbed that and made a story out of it, looking upon those people as a cult. All through that time, every few years, another new group would form the idea, The coming of the Lord is close at hand. People began to speculate. Again the News Journalists would write their articles. Then when we came to the 1980’s, David Keresh and the Waco element came upon the scene. Most of you are familiar with that episode, so I am going to speak just like the Captain of the Texas rangers spoke. He did not believe in their religious ideas, but he knew those people. They paid their debts, they minded their own business, so What they taught in that compound was their business. Sure, they might have had some guns and ammunition, but if the FBI or the CIA should be listening to this, I point my finger at you and say, For the last twelve years you have had Islamic terrorists in this country, and they practice with weapons, rehearsing how they can bring a jihad on America. None of you ever opened your mouth or printed one article, so that we, the citizens of the United States of America, could realize the threat that was hanging over our heads and prepare for it. No, you have hid those things from the people who had a right to know them. Then, having a president that thought he was doing something great, along with the head of the Justice Department, Janet Reno, they ordered in the FBI to take charge of dealing with the Keresh people. I have a tape that showed an FBI man with his jacket on, standing on the roof and shooting into the compound. Do not tell me they did not fire a shot: I know better. They did fire upon those people. I am not for what was going on in that compound, but neither do I approve of how it was reconciled. Neither am I for what this bunch of terrorists that are strolling so freely throughout America today, are plotting, as they plan to create a jihad and send our nation to ruins. The time has come, that we need to wake up, open our eyes and ears and find out what is taking place all around us. There was a day when I admired the FBI, back when they were faced with men like Al Capone, John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, Machine Gun Kelly, Bonnie and Clyde, Ma Barker and people like that. They went after them with guns and it was right to do so. I have seen the police slides of what happened to them. I have a copy of what was in Life Magazine, showing what happened to the Dalton Gang years ago. When they were laid in the morgue, their bodies looked like hamburger meat. The police slides I saw in 1939, here in Clarksville, showed those same gangsters, how they were shot down. I would say today, If the law abiding men and the police departments would do with the criminals that stroll our streets today, like they did back then, you would not have crime in America like it is today. But no, you have a lazy bunch of lawyers and judges that do not have the backbone to administer the law as it was meant to be administered. They act like they think they are doing a great service to our country, but in reality, they are creating a hell hole in America. Then we have educators and politicians, that are responsible for hatching out all this pitiful mess that has brought on the condition I have been describing. It seems like every time some notable person objects to a law on our books, these people go to work to change that law. You can say, What we need is better education, but I say, In what? What keeps our students of today from knowing how to add? Why do they not know how to read literature? What keeps them from studying geography? It was always available and taught when I went to school. Something is wrong, I grant you, because there have been college students polled, out here on the streets of America, that do not even know the capital of the state they live in. Do not tell me what we need is better education, until our teachers are teaching what they ought to be teaching already. We need to go back and do something among this young generation, to wake up their mentality to the fact that College is supposed to be a place of learning, instead of just a place to get away from home and frolic their time away. Parents need to wake up to the fact that they have some responsibility to see that their children go to school and college and learn something worthwhile. You do not need better buildings, you do not need better sports centers: You have too much athletics as it is. The basics of life have been thrown in the ditch, mainly for sports activities. Well I am saying these things because they are true, but I realize man is not going to make it better: Only the coming of the Lord will do that. I believe most of you know that, but I just get so tired of hearing, Well what we need is better education! All these evils that are running rampant in the world today, shows us that the Bible picture is being fulfilled all around us: We are witnessing distress of nations in many ways already, and the scripture says, in Luke 21:28, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”Naturally there are yet some very important things to take place before Jesus comes for the rapture of the bride Church, but world events are building to the point where they can begin just any time now. In Washington D.C., thousands have been demonstrating against this silly roadmap that our president has released to the Palestinians and the Jews. I have to say, It is not going to work like that, because God’s word is totally against it. There are no politicians this side of the graveyard, that have the answer to the worlds problems today, because they have ruled God out of the picture. Therefore, only the coming of the Lord can bring peace upon earth. The reason I have asked you to turn in your Bibles to Zechariah 12, is because it is a prophetic word to the world in which we are living, if there were only some people in places of authority that would read and take heed, it would be wonderful. I realize I have not got to that point yet, but the Bible speaks of signs in the end time, that will point to His coming. That is why we titled this message, “Prelude to the Second Coming of Christ.” It is an introduction, just as many things in the Bible are an introduction to the ending of mans programs. I hope you have all listened to the News lately. I say to our young people, I realize that News can sometimes be very boring to a young mind, but if you are growing up in life, never to pay any attention to what is going on in the world around you, you are in a bad shape. Just suppose you saw a run-away train coming down the railroad track, and you saw your uncle getting ready to cross the track, would you just sit there and watch? I would have to say, You would be a first class fool to do that. Yet that is the attitude a lot have in this hour of time. They just want to have their good times, regardless of what is taking place around them.
SOME SIGNS OF THE END OF TIME
All through the month of May, we had over four hundred tornados across America in about a five week period. Friday night in Illinois, there were twenty five tornados spotted in that one state alone. I remember a time when it was not like that. The skeptics can say, Oh there have always been tornados and other bad things happen. Yes, but not in this high number. Wednesday night, I watched an interview on TV. Insurance companies that have policies on the homes that have been bought, and have a big bank loan on them, because tornados have hit like that, they now feel compelled to raise the insurance rates. Why? Because statistics are demanding it. The News Journalist said to those listening, Just think what this is going to do to a lot of people. If you are paying a certain amount for a house payment, when they begin to double your premium, look what that is going to do to your payment. It all adds up to one thing. The insurance man said, We are in business to make money, not to lose money; and we everyone know that is true. Well you can take that for what it is worth, but did Jesus not say there would be earthquakes in divers places? In the last five weeks, in north China, an earthquake tore down sixteen hundred homes. In Turkey, there was also another devastating earthquake. In Japan, there was another one. In the country of Algiers, there have been two. In the first one, there were over two thousand casualties, with nine thousand injured. In the starting of this period, Alabama had one that registered 4.7. Two weeks ago we had a four point something in California. That is seven earthquakes in a five week period. Do you want more? Jesus said there would be earthquakes in divers places, pestilence and famine. Look what has broken out in China in the last six weeks. Over seven hundred have died. I have to say, It has not reached its peak yet. To me, it is an introduction of one of the things that can follow when time passes into that last week of time. AIDS and all of that is only the beginning of sorrows. Terrorist attacks, think of it, how it has affected the way we live. In Saudi Arabia, look what happened. In Morocco, look what happened. In Indonesia, and in the Philippines, and in Israel almost every week, they have something to deal with. There is a society, not just in America, but in the world today, that are basically all Islamic: They have been taught to tear up, tear down, destroy and hate. Why? Because the devil is in the entire Islamic picture: They are committed to a jihad almost everywhere around this globe, and the purpose is to bring this whole world to a state where everybody will be compelled to be an Islamic. I just have to ask, Why do they not go to North Korea and try that? Why do they not go to the country of China and try that philosophy on them? They will not go into a communist country with their ideas: Communism will not allow such stuff. I just have to say, The roadmap to peace is just about as worthless as any piece of paper that every could have been written in the White House. If the FBI hears me, I want to say, We are not a cult, we are true, genuine, Holy Ghost filled, Bible believing Christians. We do not carry guns, grenades or high powered rifles. We are not preparing to hide in a cave or dungeon and wait until the chaos is over. We are waiting on the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ for the translation of some people out of here. No, you do not believe in anything like that, but we do. I say again, We are not a cult: we just stand upon what the scriptures say. It is a shame, that for the past number of years since WW2, after the United Nations was faced with the ultimatum, What will we do with the displaced people in Europe? They were the Jews that had not been killed in the holocaust. Many of them were in detention camps. Now they have to live every day watching for terrorist that want to destroy them. I am going to word what I am going to say a certain way, because I realize there might be some Jews in Israel listening. I want to ask, On what basis did the U.N. leaders decide to give those displaced people in Europe, which were Jews, a piece of ground over in the land of Palestine, or whatever they were calling it then? What promoted them to do that? I ask it as a question to stir up some minds. There is only one book they could possible have looked to, and that is the book that tells very plainly, that this is the only geographical spot on God’s green earth, that the Jewish people have an abstract deed to. At the close of WW2, time had just closed a chapter on one of the preludes to what was going to take place later. All of this was gradually leading up to the hour when God would start fulfilling His word to the Jews. He was getting ready to start bringing them home from around the world.
ROADMAP TO PEACE
I could not help but notice, in this roadmap to peace that our president has designed, there are a lot of options laid out. He wants there definitely to be a Palestinian state by the year 2005. I have not time to go into all of it, but actually, he is playing with the starting of the week of Daniel, if the Roman calendar is right. It could not be more than a year and half off, so the time is at hand for God to move. How many realize that? Keep that in mind. Also, in this roadmap, the President has stated that the Jews will have to give back certain things that are on the west bank, and places where, in the last thirty years they have built little communities. The Bible says, in Ezekiel, that in the last days He will bring them back into the land, and they will build the ruined places. Mr. President: You have no biblical authority to give away the territories that they have rebuilt; and especially not to that bunch of Palestinians. Why? Because you have no book that legally allows you to take that biblical land that belongs to the Jew and give part of it to the Palestinians. First off, they never were the rightful heirs to it. You might say, Oh but they were born and raised there. That may be true, but we can say this, They have been squatters all the years they have been there, squatting there illegally and claiming the land as their own. Number two, There never was such a thing as a Palestinian state. You allow Jordan to be called a state, but that came out of the British empire’s breakup. In biblical times, there never was a state of Jordan. Let us take a look into this Bible. When we go to Zechariah 12, starting in the 2nd verse, the Lord said to this prophet, “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, (That is referring to the Arab people.) when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. (That is the people that are there right now.) And in that day (meaning that same period of time) will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: (That includes the U.N.) all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” Not militarily, but diplomatically: You must read it like that. Why? Because when this begins to take place, it means God is going to create conditions among the nations, so that Jerusalem is going to become the number one focal point for every day, present tense, News. There will never be a day when that city can be cut into pieces and divided between the nations. I know exactly what the antichrist is going to do in the last part of the seventieth week of Daniel’s prophecy, but we are not there yet. Israel herself, by the determination of almighty God, is the determining factor as to what is going to take place now; and in that period of time, because it is all written right here in the Bible. Here, concerning Jerusalem, there are two things that stand out. It is a cup of trembling to those round about. That is the Arabs, the ones that have been fussing for the last fifty years about the Jews being there, no Israeli state, no Israeli state. That is their mind set. Let us take a look at those Arab states: They are all the seed of Abraham of another line. How many realize that? They are all genetically related. Those Arabs are cousins or whatever to the Jews, but they are not heirs with them of that land. Furthermore all these others that He said He would make Jerusalem a burdensome stone to, are the diplomats of the international bodies that want to negotiate peace between the Palestinians and the Jews. God is going to be the one that settles it all in His time. Sure, he is going to allow Bush to rattle his teeth and beat his gums, but He is not going to allow him to change what is written in the scriptures. He is going to go over there and beat his gums together, but I have to believe, that when it is all over we are not going to see any success from any of it. If we are living at the threshold of the time we believe we are, the city of Jerusalem cannot be given to the political leadership of any other element of people to make decisions about. When Israel, in the Six Day War, fought the Jordanians, the Egyptians and the Syrians, in just six days time a foreign flag came down. That ended the time of the Gentiles, where it was stated in the scriptures, And Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the time of the Gentiles be fulfilled. When those Jews went in there with their fighting forces, it ended that. The so-called Palestinians that are living there now, which are not really Palestinians, but are ancient Edomites, Moabites, Ammonites, and a mixture from the other side of the river, that has mingled in there during the number of years of time the Jews have been away. It is just like a remnant of all the Indian tribes of America, if they all got together and tried to take over a territory. You could not call them all Apaches. Right? I am just using that as an illustration: because, when you get Comanches, Apaches, this tribe and that tribe, and they all mix together, after a while they are just Indians. You everyone know that. Well that is what you have over there. My point is, There never has been a Palestinian state. Biblically, when it is all over, there never will be a Palestinian state, because the Bible tells us exactly what God is going to do about it. There was a day you hardly ever heard Jerusalem mentioned in the political realm: it was all about other things. Nevertheless in the last two and half years, it has been Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Jerusalem every day. Hardly a day goes by when Jerusalem is not a number one focal point. Sure, there are a lot of Arabs that live inside that city, but that does not mean they own it or should be allowed to control it. They want to, but that is just not included in God’s plan for that land. The often mentioned roadmap, calls for the division of Jerusalem, part given to the Palestinians, and part to the Jews. Well according to Ariel Sharon’s own words, he will not allow it. I want to read to you what he said about it.
MR. SHARON’S WORDS
“Addressing a Jerusalem day event at Ammunition Hill yesterday, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon stated that Jerusalem would never be compromised, and the capital would remain undivided and under Israeli control forever. The following is a translation of the Prime Minister’s speech.
It has been thirty six years since there were barbed wire fences in Jerusalem. The city is no longer strewn with mine fields. No longer does the enemy watch us and spew fire from behind the city walls and towers. Rather than a threatened and divided city, Jerusalem is a united, splendidly built, lively and vibrant metropolis which has regained its glory. The state of Israel owes this all to its heroic warriors. However, the Jewish people can marvel at the wondrous fulfillment of the prophetic vision, the dream and prayer yearned for, for generations. This fortified hill on which we stand, is soaked with blood in the late hours of that terrible night. The ditches and crevices of this battlefield were engraved into the glorious history of Israel. Ever since then and forever more, shall this place be a blossoming garden, an oasis of memory. Never again shall it know fire, never again shall the enemy set foot in it.”
After reading that, you can understand why I say, That is another reason why I say it does not matter what Mr. Bush’s roadmap calls for. Once the Palestinians begin to realize that that city is not going to be divided, they are not going to be content just to accept a little more land on the west bank. There is definitely going to be a tear up, a breaking up of something that will never return again to its present condition. I believe, politically, time wise, prophetic wise, the world has come to the breaking point, the point where God is going to fulfill His word. I used to think years ago, that God would have to let a godly man get elected in Mr. Sharon’s position. Well God has His own way of doing things, and what He does will be the right thing. In one scripture it says He will put it in the heart’s of men to fulfill His will, so He can do that about anything, regardless of who they are. I know a little history of the political side of this thing, so for the sake of our visitors, I will tell a little of it. If there are any Jewish people listening, I want them to hear this. In 1968, in the month of October, we were privileged to be in Jerusalem on a tour. One morning as we came out of the hotel, I said to the brethren with me, I would like to talk to a Jewish rabbi. We asked the taxi driver, Do you know where there is a Jewish rabbi in Jerusalem, that we might be able to speak to? He said, Yes, I know where there is one, but I do not know if he would be willing to talk with you gentlemen: but I can take you there and ask. He took us there; and the rabbi invited us into his home. This Jewish man, somewhere around fifty eight years of age was very polite and generous. I said to him, Sir, we have not come to preach or proselyte: We are Christian believing ministers from the United States: We are here in your land for the first time; and there are certain things from the Bible, that we would like to ask you questions about, because we feel like you can give us the answers. He had his wife bring us a nice plate of cookies and a pot of tea. They treated us with hospitality. I asked him this question, What are one of the first things that has begun to affect some of the Jewish people in the years gone by, things that caused them to want to migrate back here? Now I ask that all you saints listen to this. He said, Are you familiar with the prophet Hosea? (The Hebrew Bible is not divided into chapters and verses.) Then he said, Are you familiar with the passage of scripture which says, After two days He will revive us? Then in the third day, He will gloriously reign among us, and so forth. I said, Yes, we are. He said, Back in the later part of the 1800’s some of the Jewish rabbis began to feel like that prophecy would soon be fulfilled. (When you read the whole thing, the prophecy was given through a man by the name of Hosea, but the Holy Spirit that inspired that, is writing this prophecy, how that in the latter days the Holy Spirit would be making intercession through prayer on behalf of the Jewish people. So it is written in the speech term, after two days, He will revive us. So the prophet was not speaking of himself: he was speaking on behalf of the people, what they would say.) Those rabbis’ began to gather together and discuss this, knowing how they had been scattered throughout all the earth. They began to feel like it was their job to warn the Jewish people that they were getting close to the time when this prophecy was going to come into affect in fulfillment. The rabbi said to us, Gentlemen, these rabbis began to go from place to place throughout the world, where there were large groups of Jews settled. They took it upon themselves to ask permission to speak to the various groups. He said, I know the record, as they would stand before the groups and begin to tell them that the Jewish people should begin to get ready now, that God was going to do something to open the door, that little by little they would begin to immigrate and go back. He said, Those rabbis were booed by the crowds of people, and at times they had things thrown at them. Nevertheless out of it all, came a nucleus of people that formed the beginning of the Zionist movement. I know nothing about the political side, keep in mind, I am only stating what the rabbi said to us. Since that time, there came to be a little nucleus of Jews that began to have personal feelings and dealings with God. They began to migrate back to the land of Israel. Some of those of the early Zionist movement had the theory, We will go back gradually, little by little: We will combine our money and buy the land acre by acre. That is what started a lot of the early kibbutz settlements. They went back and bought up some of the waste land, then immigrant Jewish families went there and lived. They sat up a communal type of living. Only a Jew can live like that and work like that. The point is this, The Zionist movement started to carry out a prophecy, but basically they were politically motivated in the heart. Many of them that went back there, since that time, do not even believe in the Torah.
A PERSONAL WORD TO MANY LISTENERS
I have talked to many of the young men in Israel, some of which fought in the Six Day War of 1967. They plainly said to us, Gentlemen: we do not know whether there is a God or not. I said, I am sorry you feel that way. Nevertheless they told us some things that went on in the Six Day War, many of which we had already heard. I just have to say, It is a shame, that the government officials of Israel today, are too proud of their political ideas to go back and print some of those miraculous events that took place in those Six Days. I say this because I know there are universities listening to our broadcast today; and many of the students that go to these places of higher learning are totally without any knowledge of a Creator. Therefore I have to wonder, What would make you tune in and pick up a religious program like ours this morning? Everyone is welcome to do so, but I will ask you another question because of a lot of the things we hear today, Are you just listening as a politician would, just trying to find out if we are a cult? Well we are not a cult: As I have already said, We are Bible-believing Christians, waiting for the time when our Lord will call us to be with Him. We believe what is written in the Bible; and it certainly does not teach us to carry grudges against anyone, nor does it teach us to take the law into our own hands to correct something we feel is unjust: We pray about it and trust God to intervene on our behalf. Those who do not believe in a Creator, and that look upon people like us as a bunch of ignorant souls that do not know what we are talking about, the day is going to come when you will hang your head in shame; and realize God has given you an opportunity to learn what is ahead and a chance to surrender your heart to Him before it is too late. As a Christian believer, you could look at this end time picture in the Bible and realize the conditions described in it are here already, because we are already seeing distress of nations and many other end time signs. One brother handed me a copy of Reader’s Digest this morning: I am not going to read it to you, but in here, in black and white, it lists the amount of money our country has given to the Arab, Islamic countries for the past number of years. Yet every one of them have supported terrorist activities in the world at large. Out of our own political treasury, comes donations to this one, to that one and it is a shame. This is the only way the American society will ever know this, because your political representatives are not going to tell you your tax dollars are being used by the politicians to buy friendship with people who will always be enemies of our country. Do you think God is going to put up with that forever? You should be thinking seriously, because something has gone wrong with our country. I heard it said the other day, that our president has said to Syria, Come along and play ball with us and we will guarantee you so many million dollars to help you out. This was not done before WW2 for any country. No wonder they have raised our national debt to trillions of dollars. That is more debt than all the rest of the nations of the world put together. Do you think it is ever going to be paid? It never will be paid. I have my doubts the Roman debt was ever paid, yet as a city it is still there, as a people, it is still there, so I imagine those ancient debts have just been liquidated through time. It is a shame we have politicians today, that will take your hard earned money and gamble with it for their own political advantage.
A WORD TO SKEPTICS
Let me now get to a point I want to make before going on. As we look at Jerusalem, you and I know this city has been ruled and controlled through two thousand years of time by different nations. That is in the past now; and I have to say this morning, Time is bringing us around close to getting things ready for the second coming of Christ. We have skeptics today that will say, Only a doomsday cult believes in that. I would like to say this to all the News Journalists of this day and hour of time, The day is coming, when you are going to cry because of your attitude and words. When we say that the second coming of Christ is getting very close, you would rather say, Oh, but nobody knows that. No one among us is telling you exactly when He is coming, but we are telling you, (by the authority of God’s written word) that you are living in a season of time that is very close to His coming. We are guided and affected by what we see written in the Bible. You who are ignorant of God’s truth, just close your eyes and ears to what you have an opportunity to know, and that makes it necessary for God to do to you, what He said He would do to you, lest you repent. You will not like your final destination, but you leave God no choice. God has delight in people who will communicate in prayer and allow Him to help them in difficult times, but He has no obligation to bless those who delight in unbelief and scorn those who do believe and trust in Him. When America was first founded we had early leaders that God could speak to in dreams and visions. George Washington was one of them. Abraham Lincoln was another; and there were many others. When time brought our nation to an hour just after WW1, we began to have a bunch of politicians that were getting ready to fit perfectly into the end time Bible picture. I find in Luke’s gospel, that Jesus said, “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?” Why would He say that? He was looking on out into the twentieth century, when so much effort would begin to be put forth to get anything pertaining to God out of our schools and governmental structures. That is what we hear all across America today, Don’t talk to me about God! The numbers are constantly growing, that do not want the name of Jesus Christ even mentioned in the institutions of learning or in politics. Am I telling you the truth? You know I am. No wonder Revelation 19 portrays the world powers and the European beast all gathered together, ready to make war against Jesus Christ, when He comes from heaven with His righteous warriors. Only when a society of people get like that, is the world ready to fulfill the scriptures we speak of. Now let us read the following verses, found in Zechariah, starting in verse 4, because the city of Jerusalem in that hour of time, then becomes the focal point. “In that day, (not a day of twenty four hours, but a period of time) saith the Lord, I will smite every horse (Here we go with the ancient speech of warfare.) with astonishment.” What is he actually saying? When we bring that speech terminology into modern, twentieth century military language, this is what we have. In that day, I will smite every vehicle, every instrument of warfare of the enemy, with catastrophic problems. Do you understand what I mean? If this was intended for a time back when armies fought on horseback, God had a way of sending angels down among the horses. Some may say, Oh, I don’t believe that. Stick around for a little while and then say that. If it were ancient times, some of those horses will rare up, go over backwards, dump their riders and take off for parts unknown, simply because God’s angels will have put fear in the horses of their enemies, but since we are not living in ancient times, that which refers to horses has to be understood as horse power. I have read, how some of our troops used to fight on horseback. They would ride up beside an enemy. Some horses, being used to carrying a certain rider, would know exactly how to respond. I have read how the horse would act. The horse would become so sensitive to the movement of his rider in the saddle, that it would know exactly what was expected. I have even read of horses, those that had been in battle more than one time, how they had a way of throwing themselves side ways and knocking the enemy’s horse down. Does it not tell us, I believe it is the 10th chapter of Zechariah, that in that day I will make Judah like the good horse in the battle? Judah, the lion of the tribes, are the war people. Therefore when the prophet speaks as he did, In that day He will smite every horse with astonishment, that pertains to the enemy and all their military capabilities, so regardless of what they are fighting with, God will render it useless. That takes my mind back to 1968 in the month of October. We were riding in two taxis. Our drivers were two young men who had fought in the armored rush through the Sinai, driving the Egyptians back home. They told of an episode where they captured a lot of the Egyptian troops. The Egyptian troops told them, we left Egypt driving brand new Russian made military trucks, loaded with supplies, heading for the Egyptian front. The Israeli airplanes would leave and go out over the Mediterranean. They would go west of Cairo, then turn and come back low, so that they wouldn’t be picked up on radar. They would come over the Egyptian airstrips and drop everything they could that would lightened their load. Then up through the Sinai they came. The mountain road on which the Egyptians had to travel, they would literally blow to pieces. They said, the Egyptian troops told us with their own words, When the Israeli airplanes came over, we tried to stagger our trucks, but every ignition on those trucks went blank, just like they couldn’t run anymore, and were left sitting there in the road. The Israeli planes just shot them to pieces. That was because God was with them. You educated critics and agnostics who do not believe in God, and therefore do not believe in a devil, have created a hell hole in the midst of civilization. God is going to make you pay with tears, agony and heartache, because you have thrown reality out the door and choose to try to live by your mentality. When I heard what those young Jewish men had to say about that I just thought, God is still the victor in military conflict. He can be, and is a warrior. Do not bother to tell me He cannot cause His enemies to see fighting forces coming against them, that are not even there. He can and He will. Just wait until it is time for Israel to take their land back and you will see what I mean. God has a way of making everything the enemy has, absolutely fail on the field of battle. “And his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah.” When God opens His eyes upon Judah, that is a figure of speech that speaks of favor in this case. Let us look at it like this, We might say right now, that in the past number of years, it looks like God ought to have done this and God ought to have done that, but He does everything in His time, so until then He just lets certain things go on seemingly unnoticed by Him. The truth is, Nothing goes unnoticed by Him: When the time is right, He does that which fulfills His purpose; and it will not take Him six years, six weeks, nor six days to do it. He will open His eyes favorably upon Judah. When it says that, it means He will be looking at the leadership of Judah specifically, and Mr. Bush will have to take a back seat. When God absolutely does take a good look at the Judaean leaders, they will raise up and do what they are destined to do, even though right now, some of them are not very spiritually inclined. Oh, they say they believe the Torah, the first five books of the Bible, but that does not give them the full picture. They believe in keeping the Sabbath, but keeping the Sabbath is not going to make your buildings stand any longer. There are a lot of things you need to look at in the writings of your prophets of old, which to this point, most of you have not done.
A WORD TO JEWISH LEADERS
I want to say to every Jewish person, Do not hide behind Sabbath keeping, thinking that is all you need to save you. In that day, when God opens His eyes upon the leadership of Israel, I believe with all my heart, that is when He is going to start sending angelic beings to pay a visit to some of you in the night; and you will be shown something that will change the way you now look at things. Do not think that cannot happen, because it has happened to others in days gone by. That same rabbi we went to see in Jerusalem, we went to see on another occasion. He said, I would like to take one of you to our synagogue. He picked me to go with him. We went down the street into this big building. They were having some kind of Jewish festivity in there at the time. He started introducing me to a lot of the people. They were very kind, and even brought me some cookies and a soft drink. He said to me, The day before the Six Day War started, there was an old man, a Jewish man who belonged to this congregation, and he stood up before the congregation and said, Gentlemen, our nation will go to war and it will be over in six days. I had not heard of that until October 1968. To me, that was a spiritual experience. Why did the Newspapers in Israel not publish that? It must have been because they did not want it to look like they are fanatics. Well, I have to say, Keep it up, close your eyes to reality, then when God does do it, He will do it with such an earth shaking event, you will have to open your eyes in awe. When God opens His eyes upon the leadership of Judah, and begins to smite every horse with blindness, that means He will disable the enemy’s military capabilities. “And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart.” Listen to me saints, because we are going to paraphrase this and put it into perspective as of right now. One third of the old Jewish population is Arab, but keep in mind, the city itself is governed by the Jewish Government. Therefore in that day, “the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hosts their God.” Now break that down and ask yourself, What does that mean? That means that God is going to force the political leadership of Israel to come to a conclusion, We can no longer compromise with the Palestinians when it comes to the city of Jerusalem. That is absolutely right: you are going to make the city ready for Jewish residents only. If anyone would say that right now, there are those who would pull their hair out, Oh no, you can’t do that: Those Palestinians have lived there for as long as anyone can remember. God remembers a time when they did not live there, so it makes no difference how long they have lived there: they still have to leave. Saints: I have Bible for what I am saying about this. It tells me in the 49th chapter of Isaiah, that God said, In that day I will make every mountain a way, which means that every kingdom, when the time comes, He will cause a political situation to arise, and Jews out of every dispersed element of the world, will come home. And they will come in haste. Why? Keep in mind, not just anyone who calls himself or herself a Jew will be allowed to go there and live. Why was it called the city of David in ancient times? Because it was mainly King David and his lineage that lived there. Sure, he is of Judah, and it was the tribe of Judah that lived in the community around Jerusalem, but it is the lineage of David himself that inhabited Jerusalem. Therefore when you take the old city of Jerusalem and put it in the 49th chapter and look at it from that standpoint, you will see that when the word does begin to reach throughout the extremities of the earth, that Israel has taken complete control of the city, and will see that it becomes nothing but a Jewish populated center, the seed of David will respond. Now I will read the rest of this and we will see where it brings us to. “In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood.” That literally means, that God puts something upon the heart of the governmental leadership of Israel, and they are going to stop listening to the U.N. and President Bush and start laying plans to take back what is their rightful inheritance through Isaac. They are going to put Jerusalem and their territory first, because God is going to put it in their hearts to do that. When He does, He is going to be with them in a military way to back it up. He is going to make those men like a torch of fire. Go ahead and finish reading the 6th and 7th verses; and I will read the 8th verse. “In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and He that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them. And it shall come to pass in that day, (that period of time) that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.” That means diplomatically, those who are determined to divide it will have God to answer to; and we are moving toward the day and hour when this becomes a reality. Look at verse 10. “And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications.” You may say, When will that take place? Hosea 6:2, gives us the answer to that, so notice, “After two days will He revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight.” After two days, has to be understood as, after two thousand years of prophetic time, which is calculated with 360 days to the year instead of 365 and one quarter days. Somewhere in time, conditions in the world will begin to make it necessary that God begin to change the order of events, and begin to bring Jewish people back into the land and prepare it and them for a great visitation. Naturally the events described in Ezekiel 38 and 39 have to take place before the week starts, but we are convinced that what Israel does to the Arabs in taking their land back, is what triggers the Ezekiel 38 and 39 events, (which in reality, will not take very long) and that is what brings world powers together to form a peace treaty, and that peace treaty is what will usher in the beginning of the week. We are back here somewhere, just a short period of time away from the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel, because we are persuaded that all the loose ends will be tied up in short order, once the miracle war is fought. Nevertheless, we are right back here some place. Therefore when that event we have been speaking of does take place, (Israel taking back all their land with the help of God) and the Ezekiel events finished, then the next major thing is the starting of the week, and the two prophets which will have the anointing of Moses and Elijah coming upon the scene in Israel. That starts the Holy Ghost revival, as God again deals with the Jewish People. That is described in Revelation, chapters 7 and 11. Everything is right on schedule. What does God send His prophets to do? First to seal the 144,000 servants of God, which will preach the everlasting gospel among the nations in the last half of the week. Then He will anoint the two prophets to prophesy in the streets of Jerusalem and seal a great number of the other Jewish people with the Holy Ghost and set them apart for Himself. The unbelieving ones that are left will be reciepients of God’s wrath later on. In these various scriptures, you find that the Jews are receiving the Spirit of God, but as we have said before, When God starts dealing with the Jews in that way, there will be no more Gentiles saved as we have known in the past. When God deals with the Jews in that way, the old antichrist will soon come upon the scene to begin his three and a half years of trying to kill all who trust in God, but the saved element of Jewish people, apart from the 144,000 servants of God that will be preaching the everlasting gospel to the nations, will be hidden away until his reign of terror has run its course. All of these things are laid out so beautifully, to those who will allow the Spirit of revelation to teach them, but the rest will just carry on in their state of ignorance to the very end. That is why you hear many of these denominational preachers saying, Oh, yes, Ezekiel 38 and 39, speak of Armageddon. That comes from spiritual ignorance, because the battle of Armageddon is not fought until over here at the end of the week of Daniel. There is not going to be any Holy Ghost poured out over there: The wicked are going to experience the wrath of God poured out upon them first hand instead. Therefore Ezekiel 38 has got to come in right here, (chart- before the week of Daniel starts). Oh but Bro. Jackson, we don’t have time for that to be fought there. Then my friend: you are not reading it right, if that is what you believe. You are definitely not reading it right. Zechariah 12:10 speaks of the Holy Spirit. Ezekiel 39, the last two verses, speaks of the Spirit. Revelation 11 and 7 speak of the Spirit being poured out; It all takes place in one period of time. That lets me know how all of this is going to come about. The world is getting ready for a war in the Middle East. They definitely are. You might think, Oh, Israel cannot do this and cannot do that, but you are not reading the Bible right, because God can, and will enable them to do everything we have mentioned, when the time comes.
DECREE REMOVED WALLS TO BE BUILT
I want to show you something. Jerusalem is the focal point of many prophecies. When we go to Micah 7, starting with the 11th verse, we find this, “In the day that thy walls are to be built, (No antichrist is going to stand in Israel and say, Now Jews, you can go build your temple. It is not going to be like that at all. In the day that thy walls are to be built…) in that day shall the decree be far removed.” You find the decree in Deuteronomy 28, which was God’s curse put upon Israel, that caused her to be scattered here and there. When He brings that curse to an end, then He promised also in the 30th chapter of Deuteronomy, that He will regather them and bring them back and re-establish them to be greater than it was in the days of their fathers. If you will look at verse 13, it gives you a picture of the geographical area of the ancient land of Israel, which is not as we have had to look at it through the last number of years. “Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, (For hundreds of years the Arabs have been there, but they never cared for the land, therefore the biggest part of the geographical area of Israel has grown into a wilderness. It has become a waste land.) for the fruit of their doings.” That is pointing to the Arabs. Let us now go to the 15th verse. This is going to get interesting. “According (That means to compare it to something that has happened.) to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt (Take that to the book of Joshua) will I show unto him (Who? It is Israel.) marvellous things. (Outstanding things) The nations shall see and be confounded (The United States, Canada, Germany, will see.) at all their might: (their miraculous weaponry, their high tech equipment) they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the Lord our God, and shall fear because of thee. Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity.” It plainly tells you that Israel is going to be compelled to fight and defend herself in the face of all this international opposition we hear about in the News. Young people, if you have looked at the TV during our war with Iraq, you have seen how a modern war is fought. I watched as they interviewed a captain on one station: He was elaborating on the high tech weaponry they have. He was in charge of a certain helicopter squadron over there, so he told how the planes were equipped with all these electronic finding devices now. He said, When the infantry is on the ground and approaching a building where they are being fired upon from the interior, they can radio us and we can go over that building with these high tech instruments and see right straight through the building and even see a man standing behind a door. We can tell the troops on the ground just exactly how to approach the building. I just thought, That is really getting smart about warfare. Compare that to the scripture we just read. Do you think Israel does not have it? I assure you, they do have it. I repeat, they have it, and they will use it. We have shared with them, these weapons and technology. They have never used them in fighting the terrorists in the streets, but that is because they have never had to. However when the hour arrives that God wants to show this world something, mainly that there is not going to be a Palestinian state, and Jerusalem is not going to be divided, and how He is going to open up this land for another great influx of Jews to come and fill the city, then rest assured, God will fight for them and create a miraculous war like most of the world does not want to see. It will make Joshua and his war look small in comparison. Joshua and his army conquered thirty three cities and never spared anyone. That is right! He never saved a one: He took them all out. Oh but you can’t do little children that way! Come on now, argue with God! That kind of spirit is what makes this world stink like it does today. I do not like to think of little children being butchered either, but on the other hand, it makes me sick to think that it seems alright for the devil inspired and devil driven suicide bombers to go into the streets of Jerusalem and kill all the Jews they can, both young and old. Are you listening to me? I say to you, God is remembering all of this, and He is going to pay this world back for every blow they have ever struck against Israel. In that day, the heathen, (And that is not the poor black man in the jungles of the Congo: The heathen He is speaking of, are these highly educated characters from Wall Street, the politicians of New York, Berlin, Paris France, and wherever there are those who think they are smarter than the Creator. There were angels in that Israeli army that went around Jericho. That is the only answer to be given concerning the way they went about defeating their enemies there. They had no atomic bombs, no battering rams, no laser weaponry no anything like that, but they had the favor of God. All they had to fight with were spears, swords, and knives, so how would you explain what happened on that last day, when they went around seven times, then shouted with a great shout and the walls fell to the ground? What caused the walls to break up like that? God caused an earthquake to bring the walls straight out. Well He has something else He is going to use when it is time for Israel to make their move: He has modern military with high technology ready to go into battle, so He will just cause angels to multiply what the enemies of the Jews see coming at them. That should do it.
HOW GOD DEALS WITH THE HEATHEN
When God turns Israel loose in the Middle East, to deal with their enemies in that miracle war, Let the heathen, the educated philosophers, critics, agnostics, journalists and so forth go write their stories of unbelief. They will come crawling out of their holes later, with a different attitude. What does that word “holes” mean? You know the world does not live in holes today. That literally points to the fact that right now they like to sit in their easy chairs, thinking, We are going to do this and that and so forth. Yes, you think you are, but you just wait until God moves with Israel and then we will see what you are going to do. In Zephaniah 2, God said, I have a controversy with the nations of the earth in that day. When God gets involved in international diplomacy, somebody had better watch out. The heathen will come crawling out of their holes of shame and humiliation when it is all over with. Yes, God is going to humiliate them. God is going to shame this educated, arrogant, proud world and bring it to nought. He is going to make them say, There is a God that rules in the heavens after all. I want you to know, That is going to take place before the week of Daniel starts, and it could be just a few months away from now. What is it for? Salvation is about over for us Gentiles, but does that mean that God is through with the Gentile, mortal realm? No. Because He is going to wake up a lot of mortal people that will pass on through the week of Daniel, and will help make up the mortal element of nations that will move right on into the Millennium. They will be the ones Jesus Christ and His Bride will rule over. Right here is where they get their start. Right now the American government has backed away, and they have let the Islamic people come into our nation in huge numbers, and now they spend millions of dollars teaching the Islamic religion in our universities. Why will they not let me come in and preach Jesus Christ? Because they have shut the door to all of that long ago. Somebody has it coming to them because of their evil deeds, and God knows exactly how to dish it out. How do you know all of this is going to be true, Bro. Jackson? We have an educated element in the world today that says, Well nobody knows when He is coming. When it comes to the politicians, No. When it comes to the educators, No. They know very little, but the same Spirit that inspired men to write the words of the Bible, has in this time of the end, given the interpretation to mortal men that have been called to minister the truth to those who love it. God, through mortal men, has given a precious revelation to a certain generation of people that He knew would benefit by it. There are some people on the earth today, that are not ignorant of what is going on; and where we are in time. Why? Because the book speak to those who are called to make up the Bride of Christ. Ten years ago this month, the Spirit of God gave me something precious. I have it written in the back of my Bible, but I remember it very distinctly. I have heard a lot of preachers talk about how the end time is going to shape up, who is going to do this, and who is going to do that, but they totally missed the mark with most of their predictions. Most of you have heard me tell what happened, but this will be the first time I have told it over the Internet. When I went to bed that night, I did not know the Lord was going to give me a dream like that. Some time during the night though, I saw myself sitting in a chair, in a beautifully lit room: I had my Bible in my hand. A voice above my head said, I will now show to you the order of my coming. To the church, there are certain things I will not tell about the dream: it is just the order of His coming. Do you understand me? I began to hear certain numbers come into my mind, and I remembered them. Certain chapters came into my mind, and I remembered them. When I came out of that dream, I began to meditate. That is why Zechariah 12, Micah, and Psalms 137, Zephaniah 2:1-11, Numbers 24:14-18, Ezekiel 25:12-14, Isaiah 19:16-24, Isaiah 49:11-21 and Ezekiel 38 and 39, have become very important scriptures to me. The fulfillment of those scriptures will bring time to the place when the world will initiate the beast period. Why do you say that, Bro. Jackson? Because Ezekiel 38 will not be fulfilled in any of the places where denominational preachers place it: It has got to be fulfilled just before the week starts, just like we stated earlier. Oh but Bro. Jackson, it will last too long: that is what I hear. Well that is why I say, You just simply do not know how to read your Bible. You must think that war of Ezekiel 38 is going to last about six weeks or more. It is only going to be a number of hours and it will all be over. Read it. When will this be? When my people of Israel dwell safely. That means they have already fought a war to kick out the Arabs and send them home; and they are not a problem any more. The Arabs are going to help them build the temple. How do you know that, Bro. Jackson? Because the Bible says so. A lot of people are afraid to read the Bible. I want you to know, The Jewish people have been back in their land for 50 some years and there has not been a day in all that time, that they have had peace and rest. Nevertheless, In that day, (Ezekiel 38) my people Israel, will dwell safely in un-walled cities, having neither bars nor gates. Why? Because they will have kicked the Arabs out of there and they are going about the task of rebuilding the city and the temple, Isaiah 60 says, Out of Dedan and Saudi Arabia, there will come gold and incense, caravans, army trucks loaded with material for Israel to use, God said, To beautify my house of glory. Can that be in the Millennium? No, it is not in the Millennium yet, there will be no temple being built in the Millennium: That will be finished first. They will start preparing to build, just as soon as the Arabs are out of there.
ALL AUTHORITY COMES FROM GOD
I want to finish this message tonight. I know most of you here, have heard me preach this before, but I am preaching it again because we have people listening on the Internet hookup around this world, that have never heard it. There are people tuned in, that are in universities, so I suppose there are students listening. Maybe there are some teachers listening also. At least I hope so. Some of the things I might say may sound sort of skeptical to some: I do not mean for it to sound that way, because we know where we are in time; and what the word of God says is about to take place. I have heard the skeptics of today, the Journalists, the News Reporters, how they like to point a finger and accuse the so- called Christian groups down through the decades of times past, but that is partly because there have been some that have predicted certain events to take place at a given time and that date arrived without any vindication of their predictions. All authority comes from God, so Naturally that kind of careless predictions will encourage the skeptics to keep up their skepticism, but the time is at hand, that God will soon confound all of them. Those who have set aside certain times, and begin to calculate doomsday is upon us, will fittingly have scorn heaped upon them, because they really have no scripture to use for a foundation. In times past, you would hear how certain groups would go into hiding and prepare for the disasters they were expecting. Any time something like that takes place, Journalists get hold of it and start publishing it, belittling such things and branding the groups as cults. It naturally gives one the feeling, that if they call themselves Christian believers in this day and hour, there are always those who will point their finger at you and accuse you of being one of those who belong to a cult. Well regardless of who may be listening to me tonight, the day is coming when you who laugh at us will laugh and make fun of Christians for your last time. We know where we stand with the Creator and judge of all things, and judge of every living soul; and we know the time we are living in, but you who laugh at us, do not have a clue as to where you stand, nor when you will be judged. God is merciful and will still save those who truly repent and turn to the Savior, but time is getting short, and I am not speaking of doomsday, as some are so prone to speak of, but I am saying that we are living in the season of the second coming of Jesus Christ. When that takes place, you who have scorned us without repenting, will have missed your last chance of being spared from the judgment of the wicked: You have missed your chance of receiving eternal life and living eternally in the presence of God. I will say this also, Those who accuse us of setting a day and hour for the return of Jesus Christ are totally wrong: Though there are those who have, we have never been guilty of setting a day and hour for His return; and we never will, because we believe what Jesus said, “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” The scriptures do give us the season of time when He shall return; and that is all we are saying, that the season is upon us, when Jesus will step forth from the mercy seat, where He has sat for two thousand years interceding for all who would repent, receive Him as their Savior and turn away from their evil deeds. That is all we need to know right now, if our heart’s are right and we are hungering for the truth of the word of God. Therefore we are plainly giving you Bible signs for what is ahead. I have to say, When we explain, and clearly show you what these signs are, what they relate to, and why they are put in the Bible, do not tell me God had all of that written just to take up space. There is one thing sure, and I will speak this to the politicians, the FBI, the CIA and whoever it may pertain to, You as educated mankind of the earth, have no knowledge whatsoever pertaining to the coming of Jesus Christ in His second advent. You can laugh and scoff all you care to, but from your category of people, there never has come a solution to the worlds problems. You have relied on your education, and thought these solutions would come through political programs, but in all that carnal mind, you do not have an answer for the problems of the world today, because they are problems brought about by sin and rebellion to the righteous ways of God. You can make laws and more laws, but what good are they? Laws can never bring a solution for the problems of natural minded mankind, because they do not deal with the inherited sinful nature that is the root of all problems. Those who write the laws are carnal, and have to eat and breathe air just like we do. Regardless of what they do, they can never take the place of God. They might try to, but they are a long way from even being like God, the only ONE that can deal with lost and sinful mankind. As for the coming of Christ, it was not the well educated, nor the big shot ecclesiastical figures of two thousand years ago that recognized and received Him when He came: It was the simple people who had genuine faith in God. Neither the King nor the priests in Israel, (which every one had possession of the scriptures that could have let them know it was time for the Messiah to arrive on the scene) accepted Him when He came. An old man that spent much of his life there in the temple area praying, recognized Him as a baby. We find this scripture in the writing of Luke’s gospel. His name was Simeon. He loved God, and looked forward to the coming of his Messiah. God had promised him, Simeon, you will not see death until you have seen the Lord’s Christ. Therefore having faith in God, he knew he would not die until that came to pass. Also, there was a saintly old woman by the name Anna, a prophetess, that served God daily in fasting and prayer, that also recognized Jesus as being the Christ Child, so God was not without those who knew and bare witness to others. You would think the politicians and leaders of that hour ought to have been people that knew something, but they obviously did not. When I look back at the leadership of America, as it was two hundred years ago, coming on down through the days of Abraham Lincoln, those men had dreams and visions. They were not looked upon as a cult, neither were they looked upon as fanatics. They were respected by the American society as men that were worthy to be leaders. However when Americans got to be so smart, so educated, they began to feel like we did not need that caliber of people in our leadership positions, so now, what do we have? We have a society today, that are self-serving, abusive to others, deceitful, dishonest and committing suicide when they are drunk or high on dope, losing their minds, and not only killing themselves, but killing others as well, and continually thinking of all kinds of evil things to do to society. I just have to say, The true Christian people of this hour of time did not initiate the conditions that are upon the scene. I say to our leaders, You have brought all of the problems we have today upon yourselves, because you give God no place in your affairs. You can spend all you want to on education to make this future generation better equipped for the future, but they are not going to get any better, simply because you have taken the only means of betterment away from them in the past fifty years. The right to pray in public places, the right to believe God and read the Bible; and the right to display His holy commandments before mankind, is a God-given privilege; and no mortal is going to deny people those privileges without paying a terrible price for it. The most disgraceful act of all, is that while denying God-loving people those privileges, you have tolerated and embraced the Muslim religion and now allow it to be taught where the teaching of Christianity is forbidden. In some of our universities, they teach this hate-filled religion and we are forbidden to protest it. I will say, It is a false religion, having no spiritual power or authority, and only upheld by the sword, yet multitudes are deceived by it; and even our President considers it to be a peaceful religion. What a mockery, to hold something like that above Christianity! I know what it is and where it came from: If there are any Muslim people listening to me, I just have to say, That man Mohammad, even though he was out of the loins of Abraham, the visions and dreams he had, did not come from Elohim of the Jews, the God that Abraham worshipped and prayed to: Those experiences he had were inspired and activated by the devil. That was his (the devil’s) way of pulling wool over the eyes of those who would follow Mohammad. You have absolutely been deceived into believing what you believe. The reason I am comfortable saying this, is because the God of heaven does not initiate a religion that is always upheld by just plain meanness and torture, and always shedding the blood of those who do not believe the way they do. True peace only comes through Jesus Christ, the ONE who laid down His own life to pay the sin debt for all who would believe. Therefore the reason I am going into this message again tonight, is because I read from the book of Micah this morning, and used the 12th chapter of Zechariah, to show the word of God, so I say tonight, spiritually speaking, and scripturally speaking we are right on schedule with what we have been presenting to you. As I said, We are not telling you exactly when this thing is coming to its final point, but the minute our president made a roadmap, and designed it so there was to be a legal Palestinian state by the year 2005, we just looked at the chart on our wall and said, They are beginning to play right into God’s time factor. I did not say that was one hundred percent right, because I am not absolutely sure about the accuracy of the calendar we are using: Therefore I just said, This is a proximity of what we can expect. I do not intend to have anyone pointing their finger at me and saying, But you said it was going to take place at such and such a time. Sure I said I believed we could expect certain things to take place in the middle of the year 2005, but at the same time I said, This is to give you a proximity of what to look forward to. We are living in the season approaching something pertaining to the second coming of Christ. When I look at the Bible and look back to those political leaders of the day Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of Herod the king, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, enquiring, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? We have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. That did not mean they were wise in the ways of God, but somehow or other they studied the stars and God used that for that occasion. Those eastern wise men were astronomers, so when they saw that sign, they started out traveling. Naturally from their viewpoint, they went to talk to the leaders, believing they would know. Well the leaders are the last people on earth today that you want to talk to about the second coming of Christ. The wise men went to Herod, the king of the Jews and asked, Where is He that is born King of the Jews? That politician sitting there was dumbfounded. He turned around and looked at the priests and scribes for the answer, so they had to go into the scriptures to try to find out. They came back and said, Bethlehem of Judea, is where he is supposed to be born. The leadership in America today, would not know where to look in the scriptures for answers pertaining to His second coming. Well there are some people in the world today, though looked upon as nothing, because they are not willing to play the part of a world image, that do know what the Bible says about His second coming; and they know how to apply those scriptures. Among them, there are those whom God will speak to, warning them and advising them of what is just ahead. We have read in the writings of Micah the prophet, and others, how God is going to deal with Israel in the last days, when Jerusalem is talked about in the Political News realm, more than at any other time in their entire history. People of the world talk like they think the God of heaven has just folded His hands and become as non existent. Well, though that may be their way of thinking, God has appeared like that to them, because He knew there would be a generation of people that would not seek after Him, but would go after all the carnal knowledge of the world. He has even allowed the leaders and educators to put together a great, dramatic plan of what they think they are going to do, to make the world better. I have to believe we are going to see every bit of that ripped and torn to pieces by the God of heaven. One brother told me he was watching TV the other night, and heard two preachers talking about what Eve did in the Garden of Eden: (This will show you how blind and ignorant some of the preachers of our modern world are.) One said to the other, You know what I believe happened back in the garden, I believe Eve talked to a dinosaur. Young people: if you ever hear a school teacher say that, your only thought should be, How dumb can you get? It is a shame that those who are supposed to represent Christianity cannot find their way through the pages of God’s word. The prehistoric world has left its footprints through various writings of the Bible, just as the prehistoric animals have left their petrified evidence in nature, but for it to be of any benefit you have to have an eye and a mind to perceive and understand what you are looking at. I sometimes wonder what people like those preachers really get out of scriptures like Isaiah 14, and Ezekiel 28? They help us understand the remnants we witness, of the prehistoric time on earth. Truth is hidden from the eyes and ears of those who are highly educated and proud, as they read what is written in the pages of God’s holy writings. I thank God, for what He has allowed us to see and understand. I am one who believes that every prophecy written, pertaining to the second advent of Christ, is just as real to the true believer today, as those scriptures that pertained to His first advent were real and fulfilled to the letter.
LOOKING BACK AND AHEAD
Let us open our Bible to the 137th Psalm. I want the listeners, no matter who they are, and wherever they are, to hear me say, Every scripture in the Bible, both in the New Testament and the Old, if it is a prophetic promise pointing to the second coming of Jesus Christ, will fulfill itself precisely, exactly the way God meant for it to. No man can put it off, or hurry it up. Jerusalem has become the pendulum today, that is swinging back and forth in the mind of the heads of nations. God said He would make it a cup of trembling or a burdensome stone to all such. He has promised the Jewish people of today, that as He was with Israel when He brought them out of Egypt, so again will He show unto him (Israel) great and marvelous things, insomuch that the heathen, (Not those in the jungles of Africa, but the educated know-it-all’s in the world today.) will be mystified, dumbfounded, frightened and afraid. As I say this, I am reminded that way back, six hundred years before the advent of Christ, Nebuchadnezzar’s army had come into Jerusalem out of the country of Babylon. They came to Jerusalem, ransacked it, and took hundreds and hundreds of prisoners away. They put those people on work gangs to maintain the looks of the city. Here they are out along the river Euphrates, so let us listen to the cry of those Jewish people. I can see them as they are cutting brush, piling it, cleaning things up, “By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; (Sing us another one of those Holy Ghost, Jerusalem songs.) and they that wasted us required of us mirth, (make us happy.) saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. (The reply is…) How shall we sing the Lord’s song in a strange land? If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. (This is how much those Jewish people back then thought of their city that they had been taken away from.) If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. (Now here is the prophecy, and this is six hundred and some years before the advent of Christ. They are praying now.) Remember, O Lord, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, (meaning tear it down, tear it down) even to the foundation thereof.” That is being said by the children of Israel, that were held captive in Babylon, having to work and having fun poked at them by that bunch of Babylonian people in authority. Think of a lot of the skeptics of our day, who like to get on the News Programs and point their finger, calling people like you and me a cult. Oh you are just one of those that believe in doomsday. Well what about those Jews in captivity, six hundred years before Christ, that were crying out to God in their prayer, Oh God, remember Edom in the day of Jerusalem? (We are living in that day.) Do you think God has forgotten how those Edomites rejoiced when the Jews were taken captive and their city ransacked? I assure you, He has not forgotten. I ask you politicians of today, and you educators, Who is Edom? Some of their offspring are among those who are living there in Jerusalem today, thinking the land belongs to them. You call them Palestinians, but some of them are the descendants of the ancient Edomites from across the river. If you read what the prophet Obadiah wrote, seven hundred and some years before the event ever happened, before the advent of Christ, he, a Jewish prophet, saw the day when Jerusalem was seized by Babylon, and saw how the people of Edom reacted to it. The Edomites are the offspring of Esau, Jacob,’s brother. You might say they are cousins to the Jews, but they sure are not the heirs to that land. They stood on the other side looking across, jumping with glee and yelling, Tear it to the ground! Read Obadiah. I want you to read what that prophet wrote concerning those of Esau. That which is theirs will be ours, they said. Seventy years later, when some of the younger generation of Jewish people did come home, who did they find in the land? Arabs. Some of them from across the river. When Cyrus had given the decree to go back and rebuild the city and their temple, who did their opposition come from? That bunch of Arabs. You can read it in the writings of the Kings. None of these prophecies were written, just to be placed in obscurity, and never mean anything to anyone. We are two thousand years after the first advent of Christ Jesus; and six hundred years before that event, those Jews were weeping and crying out to God, Remember Edom, Oh Lord, in the day of Jerusalem. That was pointing to our day and hour of time; and the pathetic fact is, we have politicians that look upon those Arabs as though they have a right to the land that belongs to the seed of Isaac, Abraham’s son. They absolutely do not have a just right to claim that land, because there is no place in the scriptures that God has even promised them anything pertaining to it. Many of those that are trying to claim the land as their inheritance are Edomites, along with Moabites and Ammonites. When that Islamic spirit, in 600 and 700 A.D. did began to settle on those people in that part of the world, that Islamic religion began to compel them to become part of a great army to put this religion in practice throughout that region. They drove out the Crusaders. That is why I say, The people that are called Palestinians today are trespassing, because there never was such thing as a Palestinian: That is a name the world has bestowed upon them, but they are just a mixture assembled together, whose ancestry comes from across the river. That is why, when those Jews, six hundred years before Christ, said, Remember Edom Oh Lord, they had a particular incident in mind; and God has not forgotten. I would say to the skeptics who do not believe in violence, I am so sick and tired of hearing that: You have taken away the very thing that can change peoples heart’s, which in turn changes their attitude about violence. I am not saying we need violence, but this liberal minded spirit that causes man to think he is going to settle the disputes of this world by his own carnal tactics is totally wrong: They will only be settled completely by the God of heaven, just exactly the way the scriptures say. If God is to remember Edom, because of their treatment of His chosen people, how is He going to remember Edom? If you really want to know, then go to Zephaniah 2, and you will see a little foretaste of what God intends to do to the Edomites and others that have abused and ridiculed His chosen people.
PROPHECIES TO BE FULFILLED
Let us read these prophecies that God will fulfill when the end time comes, and Jerusalem is the number one figure. This is God’s way of saying to the world, what He will do in the hour that these scriptures are to come alive, (Zephaniah 2:1) “Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger come upon you. (Nations that feel they do not need God any longer, Watch out! We will first see His word to all who would have a sympathetic heart.) Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought His judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger.” When God gets angry about something, no earthly politician is going to be able to negotiate with Him, because He has already laid down the recommendations for those who would seek His favor. These prophecies have been in the Bible for hundreds and hundreds of years. We have read over them as though they are unrelated to God’s purpose, but they are all part of the picture. In the last two and half years, as Israel has been fighting this terrorist type war, out in the Gaza area where the Arabs have been allowed to build their places, Israel has known for a long time, that the Palestinians have massed an untold amount of weapons; and they know why. This is already mentioned in prophecy, and goes to show how God looks at it in this day when He is going to deal with it. (Verse 4) “For Gaza (Gaza is the ancient land of the Philistines, not the Palestinians,) shall be forsaken, (Notice the ancient Philistine cities mentioned.) and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod (another ancient Philistine city) at the noon day, and Ekron (another place of the ancient Philistines) shall be rooted up. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, (south of there) the nation of the Cherethites! (another ancient tribe in the days of King David.) the word of the Lord is against you; O Canaan, the land of the Philistines, I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant. (This has not been fulfilled yet, but it is pointing to this day. Is it not interesting, that every time there is a major bombing of some kind within the Israeli society, they seem to know exactly where to go, to find those responsible? to the Gaza strip. Then, before very long they are tearing up something. This lets us know, that when the time does come for God to use Israel, in a war that will bring all this trouble to an end, God has a special way He is going to end this Palestinian question once and for all. In the 6th verse it says…) And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks. (Who will these flocks belong to? The Jews, because that is who will take over.) And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; (Once and for all, let me say, The world powers that are saying, You have to save that land and give it to the Palestinians: By whose authority? Remember, the Gaza strip is on the west side of the Jordan River.) they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon (an ancient area of the Philistines) shall they lie down in the evening: for the Lord their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.” That is a sure promise. There is no need for any Jew to say, Oh but we gave it to the Palestinians. You are not going to give it to the Palestinians. In the end, God is going to make you take it back for yourselves. That is why some of the Jewish people in the government are saying, No Palestinian state. That is right: God will see to it.
A GOD OF MERCY WREAKS VENGEANCE
We will read verse 8 now; and I want you to pay attention to what God says in these scriptures “I have heard the reproach of Moab, (A long time ago, God was speaking of our day and hour. Think of it. I have heard the reproach of Moab. Who is that? That is some of those people on the other side of the river. They are also cousins to the Jews. Listen to this: God means business.) and the revilings of the children of Ammon, whereby they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border. Therefore as I live, saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah.” Go ahead and read it all. When all of this is settled politically and God causes it to be settled the Bible way, He will use the Israeli military, and there will be no country of Jordan after that. I promise you that. In ancient times, there never was a country of Jordan. In the middle ages there was not a country of Jordan. That was all put together by the British Empire in the last one hundred or so years. All those people that occupy the country called Jordan, are there because certain Gentile nations are agreeing with them. When God does use Israel to settle this thing and bring it into a Bible picture, there will be no country of Jordan anymore. Let us read the rest of this. “Therefore as I live, saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding of nettles, and saltpits, and a perpetual desolation: the residue of my people shall spoil them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.” (You can find this same thing in Isaiah.)“This shall they have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the Lord of hosts.” For hundreds of years they have sat over there and done exactly that. Now God is going to change it. The 11th verse is a beautiful verse. This is not going to be a long drawn War: It will be a miraculous thing that the Lord does with Israel and it will be short. During the Gulf War, the world was allowed to see a war fought with mechanized, electronic, and the highest military technology there is. We conquered a nation within a month. It was not a miracle, it was a war of high technology. When God gets into this one, using the nation of Israel but multiplying their efforts, it will be short, and the Arabs will be gone. He does not need military technology, but Israel has it, so He will let angels come into the picture for Israel. That is actually what Daniel 12 expresses, when it says, In that day Michael will stand up, the prince of thy people. What is he going to stand up for? To help defend Israel, and bring her into the position that time, according to the plan of God, requires her to be, just like Revelation 11:7, when He will seal the 144,000 servants of God. He is going to show His miraculous power in those things. This 11th verse, which has been lying here for hundreds of years, expresses something I want young people especially, to notice. The whole world saw this Iraqi War fought, from the Himalayan Mountains, to the mountain tribes of sheep herders and such, if they had a television somewhere. They were permitted to see a war fought with high technology. Well angelic beings are going to be on the scene for Israel; and what they do will be far greater than man’s technology. Let me remind you, in the book of Kings, when the Syrians had encompassed the Israelites, the prophet sat back in the cabin at peace, and his servant looked out and saw Syrians everywhere. This young man went to the prophet and said, Don’t you care, that we are surrounded? The prophet just said, Lord, open the young man’s eyes. This verse 11, is God’s way of saying to the world, Take a look! When the young man looked out the window, his eyes opened big, his mouth dropped open. Oh my, there are more for us than there are against us! What did he see? He saw chariots of fire. That opened His eyes to reality. If God let that young man see that way back then, let us bring it down to two thousand years after the advent of Christ and see what God is getting ready to show the world. It will not be chariots of fire on the battlefield, it will no doubt be angelic beings sitting in fighter planes. Some might think God cannot do a thing like that, but I have to say, When Israel’s little army, having some of the top high tech weaponry and technology, fly across that Jordan River to make their attack on the land of Jordan, to dish out to the Ammonites, the Moabites, and the Edomites, what God says they have coming, do not think those people are going to see just Israel’s airplanes: They are going to see mirages. What looks like fighter planes, is what God is going to use, and the way those angelic beings will magnify themselves, is what will put fear in their enemies. It will literally dumbfound the enemies, and cause them to doubt their military ability. That is why I read earlier, how He would smite every horse with blindness. Apply that to our day, and it will not be horses, but horsepower. When angels take what Israel has already and multiply it, I want you to look into the Far East, the Hindus, the Buddhists and all, and I am not saying that every one of them, but a lot of those young men in those areas will see: God is going to draw their attention to this kind of war. They are going to see the hand of God favoring Israel. They are going to see how angelic beings from the presence of God, get into this conflict. Verse 11, “The Lord will be terrible unto them: for He will famish (The word famish means, to dry up.) all the gods of the earth.” Well Bro. Jackson, I can see that in the Millennium, but not now. He will do it before the Millennium. He has a reason for doing it, because this kind of war is how God begins to prepare the mental attitude of a lot of people, getting them ready to go through this week of time they will be facing. Out in the world, are young people hanging in a balance of uncertainty, not knowing how to look to the future. The devil has taken their future away from them. I have said this before, God will be forced to cut this thing short. If He has a young generation of people healthy enough to be carried over, to be of child bearing age, He has got to do something to stop this terrible onslaught of the devil, that would cause them to burn and destroy their minds with dope. A woman I heard the other night, told what dope has done to a lot of young people. Young people have always been prone to play pranks. However when that bunch of high school children in the Chicago area, came out there and carried on that diabolical, Satan inspired hazing incident that I had never seen or heard of anything like when I was growing up, that was going too far. When you take God away from society, then you have removed the restraining factor, so Satan can come in and take over. Do not tell me a better education eliminates that. Educators of our day do not know where to draw the line. Well God has a remedy for all of this, but it is not going to be the way the world wants it: It will get their attention though. That is why in societies everywhere the Buddhists and Hindus that have ruled for hundreds and thousands of years, as they watch the TV and see the hand of God using that Israeli army, to conquer this mad bunch of Islamic people, they are going to take a different attitude. When God lets the world see His miraculous hand in this, He is going to do it in a way to literally scare them to where they will open their eyes and begin to realize, something is taking place, that Buddhism and Hinduism has no answer for. God is doing it to cause their eyes to be opened to the fact, there is a God of the Jews on the scene now. It is no longer Allah of the Muslims, it is Elohim of the Jews. That is why, when God turns loose with His miraculous power, along with the modern military technology, the world is going to shake. No wonder the educated and learned men will come crawling out of their holes with their hands over their mouth, frightened half to death, but knowing the God of the Jews is real. I am anxious to hear what Peter Jennings, Dan Rather, Diane Sawyer, and all the rest of their kind will have to say about it. God has every one of them numbered; and He will not forget the many contrary things they have said, just to please their audiences. When verse 11 said, The LORD will be terrible unto them: for He will famish all the gods of the earth; and men shall worship Him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen, do you not see that picture? He will destroy all religions, by letting people see the true and living God. Why will He do that, Bro. Jackson? To get them ready to fulfill their part in Isaiah 60. In Isaiah 60, when the conflict is over and the world has been awakened, in the younger element of society, many will begin to say, Now I know there is a God because I saw Him in action. Then when the time comes for the Jews to start building their temple, they will not have to pass a collection plate to get the funds: Read Isaiah 60, and you will see where help comes from. Arise and shine, the prophet Isaiah wrote, as he looked down through time and saw what would happen when it was all over. Arise and shine, that is God speaking to Israel. For thy light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon thee, for darkness is covering the people, and gross darkness the earth. In an hour of unbelief, God is still able to show Himself. Just in front of us, is a little short era of the miraculous episodes of God’s hand. He is going to do it because He is going to reach out here to touch the heart of some young people to preserve them, mentally and physically, to be able to bring them through everything into the Millennium. Just think about this, “The Lord will be terrible unto them: for He will famish (dry up) all the gods (religions) of the earth; and men shall worship Him, (God) every one from his place, (From India, Pakistan, China, Japan, Burma, all over the world, people that never wanted to, will then. Does that mean all of them will? No. But there are a number of them out there somewhere, that God will speak to.) even all the isles of the heathen.” God is going to use this in a miraculous way. When you read Joshua, how for months, after the fall of Jericho, there was nothing but victory, victory, so again God will repeat the same thing. That does not convert the entire population of the world, but it is God’s way of opening the eyes of a few people in the world to get them ready to fulfill His word. Don’t forget, there is another prophecy that is real old also, Numbers chapter 24, verses 14 thru 18. When God, over fourteen hundred years ago, was leading the children of Israel out of Egyptian bondage, as they were coming through the wilderness journey, there was a certain king of the Moabites that wanted to hire a prophet to come and curse Israel. God would not let Balaam, curse Israel though. After he had changed his positions different times, it all failed. Balak just kept aggravating him. I am picking it up in Num. 24: 14, because here is where Balaam really speaks the prophecy. This has been laying here for thirty four hundred years. Has God forgotten all about it? No. It is hanging there, very much alive. “And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee (I will show you) what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.” The latter days was not two thousand years ago, nor twenty five hundred years ago, the latter days are right now. “And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.” When? In the latter days. All of that comes right into this miraculous era. Valiantly is a word that describes outstanding, miraculous and/or extraordinary feats which in this case will be accomplished in the field of battle. That prophecy has been laying there for hundreds of years; and now we are living in the hours that are approaching its fulfillment. It is going to be an eye opener to the world. God is going to use it for that. To prove that this is true, go with me to Ezekiel 25:12. “Thus saith the Lord God; Because that Edom (Here we come with Edom, we found that in the 137th Psalm.) hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, (When the Israeli army crosses that Jordan River, she is absolutely going to head for Edom. She will head for Edom because she is on her way to Egypt.) and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan (Two places down in Saudi Arabia.) shall fall by the sword. And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger (not according to President Bush’s plan) and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance saith the Lord God.” After reading these scriptures all these years, preachers have never touched on them: Yet they are part of the total picture. That is why I call it, “Prelude to the Second Coming of Christ.” These are not military conflicts that last years or even months. These miracle wars will be limited to a certain number of days. In 1967, the Israeli army defeated three nations, Egypt, Jordan and Syria in just six days. If she did that in six days, when she does it again, she not only defeats Egypt, but Jordan and Syria, and will not stop until she is in Iraq. About as long as it takes her to drive her tanks there and back, is about how long it will last, because God will be in it with them. After reading that, let us go to the 19th chapter of Isaiah, and read from the 16th to 24th verses. Going across the river they have struck the Moabites, the Ammonites, and the Edomites; and now they are heading for Egypt. It tells in the 19th chapter of Isaiah, that in that day God will create in the heart of the Egyptian people, a fear, they will be like women, because of the finger of God that He stretches out over them.
GOD’S TORCH
The governors of Judah shall be like a torch, it says. It also says, In that day, one city in the land of Egypt will be called the city of destruction, but it also says from that time on, five cities in the land of Egypt will want to speak the language of Canaan. Why was one city to be called the land of destruction or desolation? I believe God will let the Israeli army literally obliterate it. That is what will put a fear in the Egyptian people, because one city is destroyed head on. If we would have gone into Iraq with our high tech military ability, like Israel will do this, our News broadcasts would not be what they are. We had the capability to blow any one of those cities into oblivion, if we had determined to do so. But no, the world says, We don’t want civilian casualties. Almost every day, we sustain casualties; and the war is supposed to be over. If we had been allowed to do something to put fear in them, fear brings respect. Fear does not mean you rule with an iron fist, but you have to create something that puts a fear there, in order to have respect. Until then, they can turn around and shake their fist in our face. With this 19th chapter of Isaiah, you go to the 49th chapter of Isaiah, and find there, that Jerusalem is going to be completely liberated from Palestinian occupation. One third of Jerusalem is occupied by Palestinians. When you read that chapter, what God is going to do with Jerusalem, it tells you twice in that chapter, and they, (they who?) It is the Palestinians, who have lived there for hundreds of years. They that have made thee waste, (Twice it says that.) shall be far removed. Where are they going to be removed to, Bro. Jackson? Right back where their ancestors came from. What we call Arabs, originally were Arabians, so back across the river, those who are left alive will go. And Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place. By who? Jews. When you read the rest of that chapter, you will see that when that day comes, there will be thousands of Jews out of there, that will have seen the miraculous hand of God in how Israel has done this, so they are going to say, We want to go home. They are going to go home by the thousands. Read that chapter. It tells you they will come so fast, that they will begin to say, Save me a spot, I want to be here, or I want to be there. Then when you take that and go to Ezekiel 38 and 39, you see another event described. While that miraculous war creates an unusual change in the city of Jerusalem and the temple is starting to be built, another strike against the Jews is planned. That is where Ezekiel 38 comes into the picture. These Moslems are not Arabs, (Arabians) but they think they can surprise the Jewish people and strike them by coming in a different way. We will talk about that, but first let me say this, After that miraculous war, the Arabs are no longer fighting the Jews. In Isaiah 60, the Arabs are described as contributing to the building of the temple, and the rebuilding of the city. They are doing it for Elohim, after witnessing how He fought for the Jews. That is why in the 60th chapter, it says, Out of Saudi Arabia comes gold and frankincense to beautify the house of His glory. They want to contribute to what the Jews are doing. While that is going on, then here comes Persia, (Ezekiel 38) here comes Ethiopia, here comes Libya, from just on the other side of Egypt. They are going to want to take a whack at Israel. This brings about another miraculous event. Read it very carefully. When is that war going to be fought, Bro. Jackson? We do not even necessarily need to refer to it as a war, because God intervenes with the elements of nature. However when the Jews have gotten free from the terrorism of the Arabs and they are dwelling safely without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, this element of Moslems will try to make their surprise strike against them. God kills that Islamic spirit by what He does on behalf of the Jews. That is going to be God’s way of ending terrorism in the world forever. From that moment on there will not be a terrorist: They will all throw their guns down and start helping their former enemies, the Jews. All those Arabs that have been causing trouble for years, had their roots in Saudi Arabia. Terrorism is taught there. In a Reader’s Digest article, Arab nation after Arab nation has been known to sponsored terrorism, and we have put millions of dollars into an effort to buy friendship and have never accomplished it in reality. Let me say also, This nation is going to pay for every bit of it, when God judges her; and He will do it. When God does something, He does it right. When politicians do it, they only make a mess. Therefore Ezekiel 38, is not a war that lasts a number of days. You have heard how I have expressed it. It is a war that has been secretly put together. It involves Russia, the Persians, the Ethiopians, and Libyans. They think they are going to make a sneak attack on Israel. Well God never sleeps: He is going to meet them with a natural disaster. Talk about tornadoes. A lot of people think, Oh, God will not do that. It has never been recorded that He did such a thing, but I ask you, Do you think God cannot do something new? When you read there at the end of that Ezekiel mass of military stuff, how it comes to such a drastic end, and there is only one sixth part of them left alive out of all the thousands of men, how do you think they came to their end? They were not shot at by the Jews. They will not be bombed. They have not had one military weapon used on them. God just uses the elements of nature, rain, hailstones, fire and brimstone to bring it to a disastrous conclusion. Yet when it is all over, the countryside of Israel is strewn with the refuse and dead bodies of another miracle war. At the closing of Ezekiel 38 and 39, the last verses, God said, From that day onward the house of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God, who is in their midst forevermore, for I have poured out upon them my Spirit. He does that in the first part of the seventieth week of Daniel. Zechariah 12, speaks of it, Ezekiel 39, speaks of it, and also Revelation 11:7, speaks of it. Right in that era, is where that comes about. Such as this, is what all those prophetic scriptures are pointing to. I hope you understand the picture.
GOD’S CALL FOR HELP AROUND THE WORLD
When you turn in your Bible, to the 60th chapter of Isaiah, you will see how the nations of the world will come willingly to contribute to what the Jews are doing. It says the sons of strangers will come. You have to understand what the sons of strangers mean in that sense, because in ancient times, only countries in and around the Middle East knew of Israel’s existence. The far east, the Oriental world, never knew they existed. Time has changed all of that, but the real change comes when the entire world is allowed to see the miraculous works of God, when He preserves Israel and works in their behalf against their enemies. The Spirit of God begins to speak to young men around the world, inspiring them to go to Israel to contribute their skills. I can see a young Hindu going to college, learning to be a construction engineer. I can see another young man that has been a Buddha worshiper, going to a university, studying the same profession. From all over the world, after they have suddenly witnessed the miraculous hand of the God of the Jews, fighting for them, this kind of young men will come to help them. Have you read in the Kings, as you studied your Bible? Do you think the temple that was built back then, by Solomon, was all constructed by Jews? When it came time for that temple to be built, Solomon sent word to the king of Lebanon, who had professional tradesmen and some of the best cedar timber in the world, there on the mountains of Lebanon, and worked out a deal with him. The king of Lebanon sent a professional architect to supervise certain things. Around the areas of Israel, professional men of different tribes of people came and worked, some in the rock quarries, some others at this or that. When the blueprints of this temple were explained to the high technology men, then the cedar timbers were prepared, and the rocks were chiseled and fashioned to specifications. Then, when the people began to assemble it, you can read in the Bible, that there was not the sound of a hammer or a saw, in constructing the building. That was Professionalism. That was then, but this temple is going to be built by technicians, volunteered labor, and people from all over the world, because the King of glory, the Lord of Zion is going to sit in that temple. All nations of the Millennium will send their envoys to Jerusalem to worship the God of heaven. Therefore they have to have a part in it. You may think that I am trying to build this thing into a great big balloon. I cannot make it big enough, because when God does it, He will not need Israel to raise their taxes to finance it. I can read you another verse, Zec 14:16 “And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. (17) And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.” In other words, God will waste them, (bankrupt) them. All nations will contribute to the rebuilding, but if you think the nations are going to get out of debt, forget it. Our national debt just keeps going up, up ,up. You will never see it paid off, because we will soon be in the Millennium. In the Millennium, it will be a different government and a different era of time. I thank the Lord for grace and mercy. How precious His Word is. How wonderful it is, to know God means what He says. We can depend on that. The real joy is watching when it is truly fulfilled. God bless you everyone. Amen
